Update 05.10.25 Still recommended. Really extensive buffet. TOP value for money. Small, cozy Asian restaurant! Not one of the big Asian restaurants that are opening everywhere these days. So, the atmosphere is nice and friendly. We had the buffet, and I would say the quality of the products was good. In our opinion, however, the dishes could have been a bit more boldly seasoned. I don't understand the negative reviews. I ate at Nanking for the first time today and I was absolutely thrilled. A wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. I will definitely eat there again. Thumbs up, highly recommended.

It doesn't matter if you have a lot of guests at once or you want to save money in the kitchen. But if I offer an all-you-can-eat buffet on Sunday, then it should be available. I therefore recommend looking for other restaurants. It's a shame.

Nan King All You Can Eat offers a really good selection of Asian dishes.

We've been coming here regularly for the evening buffet for many years. It's always delicious, the service is excellent, the buffet selection is extensive, and the free parking is fantastic. They recently added a stairlift, allowing people with disabilities to get to and from the first floor. Great 👍🏻

I was here for lunch today after a long absence. Unfortunately, the quality has completely declined. The sushi, for example, smelled stale, and the fruit was simply dry!

We ate there today. Cons: For €18.90 per person, the buffet could have been a bit more extensive. The taste was standard, nothing earth-shattering. Also, the atmosphere was relatively cramped. Very Cons: They advertise air-conditioned rooms, but the restaurant itself was literally sweltering, which limited our eating habits. Pros: Fast service Very clean and well-maintained restrooms. Conclusion: We won't be returning.

The lunch buffet was chosen, which offers a large, tasty selection at a reasonable price. The currently applicable hygiene measures were adhered to at all times.

Average food, very little food. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and they hadn't replenished any of the food, and the display cases were already empty. To top it all off, each 0.75cl bottle of water was priced at €7.50, a real rip-off. I WILL NOT RETURN AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

What you expect is what you get. A decent buffet with a large selection, and everything tasted good. However, nothing stood out.

For me it could have been a little spicier, but that's also a matter of taste. Unfortunately, drinks were all too warm, draft beer wasn't possible at all, water and wine at least lasted a few minutes. Unfortunately, the ice cream on the bedside table had already spilled all the way to the table. However, they were my first shrimps from the buffet, which were not fried to death but were still quite juicy. Service was friendly and quick when clearing away, although there wasn't too much going on today. Ambience like any Asian, everything was neat and clean.

We had dinner there yesterday. When I politely complained that the beer was too warm, the boss got rude and didn't want to bring me a new beer. Only when an acquaintance came to me I got a new beer. The food was nothing special, even a fast food restaurant could do it better.

Eat: We used to enjoy eating there, but after the age for the children's price (All You Can Eat) was lowered from 12 to 9 years and children aged 10 and over had to pay the adult price (which was increased to 18.90), the restaurant is gone. My child is not an adult portion, not even half. You have the feeling (now that dogs are no longer allowed) that you now want to get rid of children/young people. You could have introduced an intermediate level from 10-14 for €12, which would be somewhat understandable, but not like that. Service: Was also quite unfriendly when we asked and then said we would leave sooner. Well, it wasn't just 3 adults and 2 children today who won't be coming back any time soon. Ambience: An outdated Chinese restaurant, but very clean.

Wanted to reserve a table today. Then I found out that dogs were no longer allowed. It's a shame, we were always there at least three times a year, including for family celebrations.

Is conveniently located on the outskirts of Neuwied. Parking lot right in front of the house, the threats of towing are a bit irritating. However, they do not apply to restaurant guests. The lunchtime offer costs €12.90 per person, but there is a decent selection at the buffet. The staff is nice and we were very satisfied.

We were there today and unfortunately left the restaurant very disappointed after our drinks. The lady who showed us to the table was unfriendly when we asked if we could sit by the window. This was denied because 6 more people would come for this table. There were 5 of us. The drinks came quickly, but the first course to the buffet was a bitter disappointment. The containers were almost empty and the food was cold, no, not lukewarm, cold. We let them know and just had to pay for our drinks and left the restaurant after 10 minutes. We don't come here anymore.

1 star is too much for this restaurant, we were there on a Saturday evening around 8 p.m., the buffet was almost empty and nothing was refilled. When we paid, I politely asked why the buffet felt so very lean. The answer was from the waitress. Only when we open the buffet is full and it is no longer refilled, so the buffet was only under the heat lamps for 2 hours 😞 and both of us upset our stomachs and vomited and had diarrhea. Price-performance ratio when the buffet is almost empty is far too expensive 😞 we will no longer visit this restaurant and recommend it. The waitresses exuded a lot of listlessness.

At 7:30 p.m. the buffet was already pretty empty and wasn't refilled much. The service largely left us alone, which is why we only had 1 drink. All in all, so-so.

The food this evening was beyond great. Very tasty and rich. Despite many guests, we were served very nicely. All in all, highly recommended!

Unfortunately we don't like it at all anymore and there's very little choice. Smaller children are not welcome guests, so we had to leave straight away and pay the full amount. Never come back.

We ate at All Can You Eat in a wonderful atmosphere. You have to pre-order. However, the buffet is unsuitable for vegetarians. There was little choice...

I've been going to the lunch buffet here for years and I'm always satisfied. Price/performance is still top. I get what I expect (a solid Chinese buffet without a lot of frills). The food is usually always warm and freshly prepared, and replenishment is made quickly if something is empty. The selection is very good. On the weekend it costs a little more but there is extra: lamb, salmon, great mussels, scampi in shells. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is worth it. But lamb is not the chef's forte - unfortunately it is always fried to death. Otherwise, children feel very comfortable here and the service is ok but nothing more. We have a lot of stress that sometimes transfers to the guests, but I can live with that as long as it tastes good. Best Peking soup in Neuwied! Reservation is usually not necessary. Of course, the nicest seats (to which you are assigned) are at the beginning. So come on time!

We often get food here. It's always very tasty. Although we never order over the phone, only on site, there are never any problems.

Ate lunch buffet. €12.90 per adult. Drinks to be paid extra. Selection not the largest but good. Pleasant atmosphere and quick service at the beginning and end of the meal. Employees take empty plates with them as they go around, which meant you could eat comfortably without a lot of plates on the table. In summary; everything was great and good value for money.

We were here for dinner and chose the buffet. We were absolutely thrilled. There is a huge selection and everything was delicious. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

The prices for buffet and drinks remain valid. There is a large parking lot directly in front of the restaurant.

You only get something to eat until 10:30 p.m. But we were there yesterday beforehand. After a tip on Google to change the opening times, I was told that cleaning should be done until 11 p.m. So don't be surprised if you don't get anything anymore.

Meine letzte Rezension liegt jetzt fünf Monate zurück und wir haben noch einmal versucht beim Nangking zu Essen. Es war leider ein Disaster! Wir waren am 07.01.2024 gegen 13:00 Uhr im Nangking. Das Personal war wie ich es beim letzten Mal schon erwähnte unfreundlich! Obwohl man ja den Chinesen nachsagt, dass sie besonders höflich sind, dass ist hier aber zum wiederholten Male nicht der Fall! Was man positiv erwähnen muss ist, dass der Eisschaber für das Speiseeis gegen ein richten Eisportionierer ausgetauscht worden ist, das war aber auch schon alles! Wir wurden vom Personal auf unsere letzte negative Rezension angesprochen. Darauf hin klärte ich die Bedienung auf und verwies auf das heutige Essen was sehr wenig gewürzt war und zum teil sehr trocken, sowie auch das Tiramisu, dass beim Kauen staubte. Ich sagte zur Bedienung wir können es direkt Probieren. Diese Aussage wurde ignoriert. Beim Bezahlen warf die Bedienung meiner Partnerin das Geld auf den Tisch, so das sie es zusammen suchen musste! Das Nangking sollte daran arbeiten den Gast so zu behandeln, dass er sich auch wohlfühlt, dass fängt mit der Tischreservierung an!

It's been five months since my last review and we tried eating at Nangking again. Unfortunately it was a disaster! We were in Nangking on January 7th, 2024 around 1:00 p.m. As I mentioned last time, the staff was unfriendly! Although the Chinese are said to be particularly polite, that is once again not the case here! What has to be mentioned positively is that the ice cream scraper for the ice cream has been replaced with a real ice cream scoop, but that's about it! We were asked by the staff about our last negative review. I then explained it to the waitress and pointed out today's food, which was very lightly seasoned and partly very dry, as well as the tiramisu, which produced dust when chewed. I said to the waitress we can try it straight away. This statement was ignored. When paying, my partner's waitress threw the money on the table so she had to look for it! The Nangking should work on treating the guest in such a way that they feel comfortable, starting with the table reservation.

Für den Preis für das Buffet ist das Essen in Ordnung. Für Vegetarier gibt es hier jedoch nichts bis auf 4 Sachen (Reis, Champignons, kleine Frühlingsrollen und Brokkoli) ansonsten ist alles mit Fleisch versetzt. Service war katastrophal. Alle Servicekräfte waren Mega schlecht gelaunt, man hat dauerhaft nur böse Blicke bekommen. Es wurde bei 10 Personen innerhalb 1,5 Stunden nur eine Person gefragt ob man noch etwas trinken möchte, der Rest wurde schon garnicht mehr gefragt. Allgemein waren alle sehr „pampig“. Auffüllen vom Buffet hat auch sehr lange gebraucht. Bei soviel Personen wurden wir an zwei verschiedene Tische gesetzt (einen runden und einen rechteckigen), was als gemeinsame Gruppe sehr unvorteilhaft ist. Würde keinem empfehlen dahin zugehen. Es gibt weitaus bessere Restaurants für nur 2-3€ mehr.

Das China Restaurant Nan King ist eines der besten im Umkreis von 50 km. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist zahlreich und besonders das Büfeet ist zu empfehlen Preis Leistung TOP, Sauberkeit Absolut OK, Geschmack köstlich und absolut zu empfehlen. UPDATE: 27.12.2023 Heute seit langem, nach Umzug, mal wieder in Neuwied. Wir wollten etwas zu Mittag essen gehen und haben nicht lange überlegt und uns für Chinesisch entschieden. Es ging dann zu Nan King und wir haben es definitiv nicht bereut. Alles sauber und frisch zubereitet, sehr ordentlich und zahlreich vorhanden, gute und angemessene Auswahl an Köstlichkeiten von Suppe über Frühlingsrolle, in verschiedenen Varianten, bis hin zum abschließenden Obst und Eis. Egal was ich gegessen habe, es war einfach auf den Punkt und sehr schmackhaft. Auch das Sushi ist absolut empfehlenswert, wenn auch kein Vergleich zu einem Sushi Meister aber wer das erwartet ist fehl am Platz. Die Preise sind für die heutige Zeit enorm günstig und somit bekommt man ein prima Preisleistungsverhältnis. Wer eine gute und leckere Auswahl an Speisen möchte ist bei Nan King auch unter der Familie WU bestens aufgehoben. Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend und zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich, wie von anderen beschrieben. Meine Empfehlung, kommt nicht in den absoluten Stoßzeiten und ihr werdet höchst zufrieden sein. Lasst es Euch schmecken, ich esse jetzt noch ein Eis und lasse den Mittag gemütlich ausklingen.

Seit weit über 30 Jahren sind wir Stammkunden im NANKING und wollten heute das Mittagsbüffet geniessen. Weit gefehlt. Die Pekingsuppe ( die wir immer geliebt haben ) war offenbar gestreckt. Das gegrillte Rindfleisch war so zäh, dass man es nicht kauen konnte. Der Lachs in süßsaurer Soße fehlte gänzlich. Die leckeren Garnelen im Backteig waren durch gepresste Convenience-Garnelen mit ganz viel Panade ersetzt worden. Zwei Getränke ( Cola-Light und Malzbier ) stolze 9 Euro zusammen. Und anschliessend noch Bauchweh. Das darf insbesondere an Feiertagen nicht passieren.

Waren mit der Familie (11 Personen), dort essen. Das Buffet ist für den Preis ok. Allerdings sassen wir trotz Reservierung an 2 getrennten Tischen,was schon doof war. Und so was von unfreundlichem Servicepersonal wie dort ist mir auch noch nicht untergekommen. Hätte am liebsten dafür 0 Sterne gegeben. Also wir werden da wohl eher nicht mehr hingehen.

Leckeres Buffet ,leider sind Hunde unerwünscht!

Wir waren heute als große Gruppe dort Essen, eine Person konnte aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht am Buffet essen und hat sich deswegen nur etwas zu trinken bestellt. Darauf hin wurde sie den ganzen Abend mit Bösen blicken seitens der Chefin angeschaut. Deweitern werden günstigere Getränke ausgeschenkt, anstatt" dem "was auf der Speisekarte steht.. Für mich nicht empfehlenswert.

Über das Essen kann man nichts sagen, es war frisch und ordentlich gemacht. Was sehr negativ aufgefallen ist war das drängen und quasi Übereden wollen etwas zu trinken zu bestellen. Erst drei Mal nachgefragt und 1 Minute später war die Kellnerin wieder an Tisch um mitzuteilen das die Chefin sagt muss man was trinken. Nach drei weiteren Versuchen hat die Dame aufgegeben. Es folgten durchgehend böse Blicke der Chefin während dem Aufenthalt. Gleich geschah am Nachbartisch, dem guten Herrn würde allerdings mitgeteilt er müsste was zu trinken bestellen.

Ich war dort zum Mittags-Buffet. Das Restaurant war nicht voll (Montagmittag) von daher war es ruhig, das gefällt mir. Des Interieur ist etwas altmodisch und entspricht auch dem was man aus asiatischen Restaurant dieser Art kennt. Das Personal war nett und schnell. Das Essen ist so ziemlich das gleiche wie in anderen Asiatischen Restaurants mit Buffet aber schmeckt gut, dafür ist die Auswahl etwas kleiner. 11,90€ für das Mittagsbuffet ist angemessen. Man kann dort auch mit Karte zahlen. Ich war alles in allem zufrieden. Auch wenn es mich nicht betrifft an dieser Stelle der Hinweis: Das Restaurant ist NICHT barrierefrei, es müssen ein paar Treppen bewältigt werden.

Sehr weiträumiges Restaurant mitten in Neuwied seit vielen Jahren. Die Tische stehen etwas eng, die Glastrennwände geben dem Restaurant seinen Stil. Das Aquarium am Eingang macht einen etwas traurigen Eindruck, da die Fische kaum Platz haben. Das Essen am Buffet ist wirklich lecker und der Nachtisch ist reichhaltig, Obst, Eis, Wackelpudding ect. Der Buffetpreis am Mittag liegt noch unter 12€, abends und am Wochenende knapp unter 18€/Person. Für Kinder gibt es extra kleine Preise. Die Getränke kosten im Durchschnitt ca. 3€ für 0,5ml. Das Personal macht einen Recht gestressten Eindruck und sprechen nur das Nötigste auf Deutsch. Die Parkplätze vor dem Lokal sind kostenfrei, der Parkplatz sehr groß. Wir haben mit der Familie gut gegessen und hatten einen schönen Mittag. Das Lokal war fast ausnahmslos mit Ü 60 und Enkeln besetzt.

Sauber, elegant und ich steh einfach auf das "Geklimper" im Hintergrund. Essen war sehr lecker und noch gut warm. Waren in der Mittagszeit zum Buffet kurz vor Mittagspause. da, Bedienung war sehr nett und gut drauf, kleine Scherze gemacht. Preise absolut top. Werden da wieder öfter hingehen.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und die meisten Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, nur leider wurde meine Freundin mehrfach von einem Küchenangestellten "beglotzt", dass beschreibt es wohl am besten. Von daher war der Besuch für sie eher unangenehmer Art und ich empfinde solch ein Verhalten als sehr respektlos und es zeugt auch nicht wirklich von hoher Arbeitsmanier wie auch wenig Interesse an der Arbeit für sich. Abgesehen von diesem traurigen Missstand war es sehr schön und lecker, auch das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt.
