The shop is very nice and the staff is friendly. The menu card was disgusting and it took a lot of effort to touch it. You could also clean it. The food was subpar. The chicken kebab was just mediocre. The fries OK. Mayonnaise is only available in small sachets 🤨. The most disgusting thing of all was the “currywurst”. Two fried sausages 🤢 with a splash of Hela curry sauce. Sorry guys, a currywurst is made with bratwurst! That was our first and last visit.

Visited to celebrate my father's 85th birthday. He was stationed in Lippstadt for his UK National Service, in 1957. This was his first revisit. Lovely beer (brewed on the premises) and a range of filling, tasty and well proportioned dishes. Hosts gave a very warm welcome, and made us feel like special guests. Lovely atmosphere in the place (Champions League Final night), it seems popular with both locals and visitors alike. Will definitely return if ever in Lippstadt again. A must, if you're visiting. Lovely place.

Steakhouse with good meat and a nice atmosphere. The meat is served, kissed by the flame, on a hot lava stone. You can continue cooking the meat on this. Since the steaks are cut nice and thick (I think that's a good thing), you have to cut thin slices, otherwise the stone won't give off enough heat to change the degree of doneness. I had a dry-aged entrecote. The piece certainly exceeded the advertised 300g (it was about the size of a woman's hand and 3.5cm thick). It had a slightly nutty note, was tender and had a surprisingly small eye of fat. The side dishes are delicious, but given the amount of meat, it's easy to order too much. We had for two: bread with tzatziki, green beans and one each of fries There were leftovers left over. The prices are not cheap, but are within reasonable limits. The service is nice and friendly, but there is still room for improvement in terms of expertise. Summary: If you're in the mood for a good steak, you're in good hands here.

Good restaurant with fine cuisine at fair prices. Another insider tip in Lippstadt. I'd love to come here. The staff is attentive and the location is quiet in the countryside.
