Am Oster- Sonntag waren wir auf Empfehlung im Landhaus Günther Lippstadt-Hörste zum Osterbuffet. Die Atmosphäre entspricht den Erwartungen an ein Landhaus. Es sollte aber vorher ein Tisch reserviert werden , weil es sehr gut besucht wird. Das Buffet war sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Freundliches Personal sowie ein guter Service rundeten das leckere Essen ab. Es gibt einen schönen großen Park, der im Sommer als Terasse genutzt werden kann , für die kleinen Gäste gibt es Spielmöglichkeiten im Freien. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten , alles ist barrierefrei zu erreichen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur sehr empfehlen

Wir waren am heutigen Sonntagmittag mit meiner Frau und ihrer Mutter essen. Ein besonderer Anlass, denn sie feierte ihren 79. Geburtstag. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Tisch, an dem man sich sofort wohlgefühlt hat. Ich habe eine Lipperpfanne gegessen. Sehr herzhaft, sehr lecker und perfekt zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Bedienung: Trotz eines sehr vollen Geschäfts war der junge Mann humorvoll, aufmerksam und völlig ohne Stress. Auch die Essensberatung war ausgezeichnet und hat genau zu unseren Wünschen gepasst. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Sonntagmittag in entspannter Atmosphäre. Guten Tag, anlässlich des 90. Geburtstags meiner Mutter, durften wir in Ihrem Restaurant einen unvergesslichen Tag verbringen, wofür wir uns herzlich bedanken möchten. Der für uns vorbereitete separate Raum war wunderschön dekoriert und trug wesentlich zur festlichen Atmosphäre bei. Das Mittagessen war fantastisch und wurde von allen Gästen gelobt. Ebenso haben wir es sehr geschätzt, dass wir anschließend noch gemütlich Kaffeetrinken durften. Die Bedienung war erstklassig - stets aufmerksam, ohne je aufdringlich zu sein. Besonders berührt hat uns die liebevolle Geste, ohne vorherige Absprache Pappteller und Alufolie bereitzulegen, damit unsere Gäste ein Stück Kuchen mit nach Hause nehmen konnten. All diese Details haben dazu beigetragen, dass wir diesen besonderen Tag in bester Erinnerung behalten werden. Vielen Dank für Ihre Professionalität, Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft. Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the quality of the food no longer quite matches the price. The food was a bit bland, and there were no salt shakers on the table. The meat was good, but the accompanying fries were abysmal. The bread served with the herb quark, as a complimentary appetizer, was completely dried out. We visited the restaurant on the evening of November 23, 2026.

As a family, we attended the game buffet evening last night. We had a fantastic table for ourselves, our children, and our dog. The selection and quality of the dishes were outstanding, and everything we tried was delicious. The only slight downside was that the buffet, or rather the tables and tablecloths on which the food was presented and served, looked as if a pack of starving wolves had descended upon it. Unfortunately, some guests left their plates piled high, leaving them looking like a battlefield. But not everyone has good manners... In conclusion, we would love to come again and wish the participants of the next game buffet evenings just as wonderful an evening as we had yesterday. Thank you! ❤

A really nice restaurant with good service. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is a bit off. The menu has been the same for years. A refresh would be welcome. If two people have ordered food at one table, it should be standard practice for a restaurant of this caliber to serve both dishes at the same time, and not have the second dish arrive when the first is almost cold!

Delicious food - great service!!

I stood at the counter for a full five minutes trying to get a table. There wasn't another customer in sight, but there were five employees. At least one of them greeted me politely. However, due to some kind of power struggle, this employee couldn't assign me a table. Everything else was more important to all the other employees: talking on the phone, walking around—often right past me, and selling vouchers to people who arrived after me. There weren't many customers there, otherwise I would have almost understood their behavior. I left and I'll never be back.

We've been to this extremely chic restaurant several times. We're always impressed by the overall quality. From the delicious, high-quality food to the very friendly welcome and service in the perfect ambiance. We're thrilled! We celebrated our wedding there with 28 guests, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended! Don't forget to make a reservation, though, because good restaurants are busy – quality speaks for itself.

Going out to eat on a Sunday lunchtime is becoming increasingly difficult. Therefore, we were happy to receive the recommendation for Landhaus Günther. We didn't have a reservation, but we still managed to get a seat. The food was delicious. We'd be happy to come back again sometime.

We were invited to a birthday party, and it was a wonderful evening. Even though there was a big wedding and all the tables were booked, the food arrived super punctually. The food was excellent, especially the garlic soup. And everything was wheelchair accessible.

Once again, a huge compliment to the entire team at Landhaus Günther! We celebrated our wedding there on May 3rd, and everything was perfect from start to finish! Throughout the entire planning process, they were there for us at all times, answering every question and fulfilling every wish. Everything was beautifully presented, both in the reception hall and in the garden for the outdoor ceremony. The food was incredibly delicious and always perfect. The team that looked after us throughout the evening and provided us with drinks was always there for us and couldn't have been more attentive. A big thank you for that too! I had the opportunity to DJ a wedding at Landhaus Günther this weekend – and I'm absolutely thrilled! The service was first-class, the food outstanding, and the venue a true highlight: stylish, well-maintained, and with a beautifully large dance floor. The DJ stage, in particular, is perfectly positioned and, with its aesthetic design, creates a fantastic atmosphere. I definitely recommend it for any celebration!

An upscale inn with German cuisine and indoor and outdoor seating. We were there for a wedding with an outdoor ceremony on the perfect lawn in the garden. But what was truly outstanding was the service from everyone involved! Thank you!

Company of 18 people. Starter/dessert was ordered. In the main course I had the vegetarian spinach dumplings, very good. The other guests' meals were also excellent. The ambience was great, we were in the winter garden. Parking spaces were in short supply due to a wedding party.

The atmosphere corresponds to the expectations of a country house. Solid, quiet, traditional. The service was very good, even though there were two events going on at the same time. I ordered the Wiener Schnitzel. The meat was very good. However, instead of half a strawberry and the rosemary sprig as decoration, I would have liked cranberry jam with it - as is usual with Wiener Schnitzel. The lemon would have been better served as a quarter wedge and not cut very thin. So I couldn't spread the lemon juice on the schnitzel. The side salad was not suitable: corn, carrot, tomato and green salad with dressing, are not traditional. A small potato salad with vinegar and oil would have been better here. The fried potatoes were good, a bit oily. Overall, it would have been better to stick to the traditional Wiener Schnitzel. But as I said. All in all it tasted good.

Seit Jahren fahren wir nach Hörste ins Landhaus Günther, wenn wir einmal sehr gut essen wollen; und wir wurden nie enttäuscht. Die Küche des Restaurants ist gutbürgerlich-westfälisch, ich mag aber vor allem den leicht mediterranen Touch. Vor allem für Spargel-Liebhaber ist das Restaurant im Mai ein Muss. Die Karte ist überschaubar und nicht (wie bei vielen anderen Restaurants der Region) Schnitzel-überladen, dafür aber abwechslungsreich. Es ist für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Das gilt auch für die Weinkarte. Gestern Abend habe ich mich für „Günthers Veganes Curry mit Basmati-Reis“ entschieden und war (obwohl selbst kein Veganer) mehr als begeistert. Wären vegane Gerichte stets so einfallsreich und gut gemacht, könnte ich fast zum (Teilzeit-)Veganer werden. Und die Crème Brulée zum Abschluss war die beste außerhalb Frankreichs. Die Begleitung hatten Spargel-Gerichte genommen und waren auch (wieder einmal) äußerst zufrieden. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man wundert sich, wie es es schafft, trotz einer Hochzeit und einer größeren Geburtstagsrunde auch die „kleineren“ Tische flott, aufmerksam und ohne Wartezeiten zu bedienen.

I have always been satisfied with the food at Landhaus Günther. However, today's Lipper pan was a disaster. The meat was totally dry, the fries (ordered instead of fried potatoes) were very soft. The whole thing for over €25! I won't be going back there any time soon!

Due to our large group, we were given a separate room for our reservation. The table was very beautifully set. The service was great, because an employee always came at short intervals to ask about orders. They were very nice, friendly, competent and the drink orders were served in a timely manner. With our large group, we were able to choose the dishes in advance. So we were all served our main course almost at the same time and were able to all eat together. Perfect!!! All I can say is that I really enjoyed it and that I think it was special to have dinner at Landhaus Günther. When I was there for dinner years ago with another large group, it was done the same way as on Thursday evening. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The restaurant was convincing across the board. The goose breast was perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Plus an aromatic, fruity sauce that rounded off the dish harmoniously. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and well organized, so that nothing was left to be desired. The ambience of the restaurant was equally impressive - spacious, clean and yet cozy, making you feel completely at home. Overall, a successful combination of excellent cuisine, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. A visit is absolutely recommended!

We have eaten at Landhaus Günther so many times and it has always been delicious. We also celebrated our wedding in 2005 at the Landhaus Günther, a perfectly planned celebration. My mother celebrated her 80th birthday at the LG in 2024 and the service was also outstanding. I can highly recommend the goose breast during the Christmas season.

We come from Soest and got the tip from a friend to go here. We weren't disappointed! It was a Saturday evening and it was packed to capacity. Luckily we had reserved the day before. The service was impeccable and warm. Drinks and food were served quickly, with the right sense of time to the guest. Every now and then we were asked whether everything was ok or whether we needed anything else. Again, exactly right, reserved, casual and with just the right tact. Really great service! The food was just as impeccable as the service. Extremely tasty, served hot and nicely presented. I would describe the portions as generous. You'll definitely get full! Sorry but that was nothing. Aside from the fact that the food was average at best, it was served in stages. It took 50 minutes from the order to the first meal Three people and the food arrived at intervals of 5 minutes, which in my opinion is an absolute no-go and it also happened at other tables. Ordered beer and it took 10-15 minutes If I don't have enough staff then I can't fill all areas, I just expected more from the store. If that's the standard, I don't understand what the other people who give their reviews here have. Unfortunately I can't recommend it🤷

In this country house you can eat and drink excellently. The atmosphere is a bit more rustic but not very old. The service and staff are honest and charming. We have been here several times and have always been very satisfied with the different menus. We continue to wish Landhaus Günther the very best.

We celebrated our wedding at Landhaus Günther in August 2024 and would do it again every time! The food and service was an 11/10. The guests still talk about the delicious food today. Communication and planning went flawlessly. In any case, Mr. Günther didn't promise us too much. We were able to completely trust the entire team and enjoy the day perfectly. We have been going to the Landhaus Günther since the mid-80s. The best restaurant far and wide. The Günther family has managed to offer consistently very good quality over the decades. That has to be done first.

The Landhaus Günther has been our family's first port of call for dining out on special occasions for years. Food and service are always top! Two years ago, my wife and I decided that we wanted to get married in church and have a big celebration. Only one location was considered for the event location - the Landhaus Günther in Hörste. So almost 2 years ago I reserved August 10th, 2024 for our wedding in the country house. The first meeting about our wedding with Mr. Günther took place in February of this year. We went through the rough schedule of the day and planned the buffet and an initial selection of drinks. The whole thing was also tailored to our budget requirements. After the conversation our anticipation increased immensely. Mr. Günther also gave us tips on where we could ask about cake in the afternoon and our wedding cake, for example. At the end of June we met for the final discussion where, after a previous tasting, we were able to decide on the wine selection. The final process was then coordinated together. For every conversation we had, drinks were on the house - a great gesture. You felt welcome at all times. :) On Friday, August 9th Fortunately, we were able to get into the hall at 5 p.m. to do little things like setting up our photo box. When it came to the tables, we noticed that a change in the number of people had not been implemented. Since Mr. Günther stopped by personally, this was quickly clarified and resolved. Simply great. So you could now look forward to the big day. After the wedding service, the reception took place in the garden of Landhaus Günther. With the red carpet, this is a really elegant sight. As a bride and groom, you really feel special walking down this carpet and the guests are standing in line and clapping at you - pure goosebumps. The ambience in the garden with the umbrellas and various seating areas is simply a dream. We were super lucky with the weather and so the afternoon was a great summer day. At around 7 p.m. we went to the air-conditioned ballroom, where the starters were served promptly after our speech. Afterwards the buffet was opened, which was very attractively prepared. At certain stations, employees, including Mr. Günther himself, were available to fill up the guests' food. The food was perfect as usual! In addition, everything was warm and there was always enough for everyone. That's how buffet works! :) For dessert, our wedding cake was brought in on a trolley with sparklers - a great sight! Afterwards the party began and during this time the service regarding drinks continued to be simply great. At around midnight we had Günther's famous currywurst with tear-off bread - a great midnight snack! :) The party continued until the early hours of the morning. For my wife and I, our wedding was simply perfect from start to finish. The Landhaus Günther and their excellent team play a significant role in this. Thank you so much for making our wedding the most beautiful day of our lives so far! Our guests were also all completely satisfied and the wedding has still been the number one topic of conversation for days. :) We can only recommend Landhaus Günther 100%. Be it for a visit to a restaurant in a cozy atmosphere with great food or for a wedding or similar celebration in the ballroom. The team at the country house ensures that you can completely let go and enjoy your celebration. Here we put a lot of heart and dedication into the bride and groom's perfect day.
