The steak was fantastic, and the side dishes were all very good and delicious. The service was superb. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly.

We went there a few days ago with friends and had steaks, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious and just fantastic. The presentation of the food on the hot stone from the stone oven was a real highlight – perfectly cooked and with a wonderful aroma. It came with fries, rice, and other side dishes, as well as a fresh salad and oven-baked bread with herb butter. We drank sparkling water. The restaurant was already very busy at 5:30 pm; the guests seemed visibly enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was great, with perfect lighting, a pleasant ambiance, and fitting music. You could definitely tell that many regulars were there. A special mention goes to the owner and hotel manager (I'll just call him "Mr. H" here for privacy reasons 😎), a decorated master chef, extremely attentive, who personally looked after each table and checked several times to make sure everything was alright. After the meal, the guests were offered a small aperitif, which some accepted and others declined. Overall, a wonderful experience with heart, quality, and genuine hospitality!

We were there on New Year's Eve 2025, and our experience was mixed. We love the concept of the hot stone, which is why we chose this restaurant. Our biggest complaint: we had to wait two hours for our food. The food itself was good; we had a rump steak with a baked potato and a dry-aged rump steak with steakhouse fries and a side salad, but the meat wasn't trimmed properly. It's the little things that make a restaurant visit an experience, and these were missing: uniform napkins, lighting, and salt and pepper shakers on all tables, minimal interaction from the waiters, a full coat check (we were asked to hang our coats over the chairs), a menu with numerous spelling mistakes, the wrong food brought to our table, and no bread or anything similar beforehand despite the long wait... We'll see if we try it again...

We ate at An-Gus on Christmas Eve and were absolutely delighted. I don't need to say much about the food; the meat melted in our mouths, and the side dishes were delicious and homemade. However, what I'd particularly like to highlight is the service. The staff were extremely friendly, hardworking, and attentive. There was no impersonal rushing through the guests, but rather professional service with a great sense of timing. I felt very welcome there. 6 stars

The steaks were served on a hot lava stone and were incredibly tender and delicious. It really couldn't have been better. The mushroom pan and lemon potatoes were excellent. The rest of the rump steaks were superb. The lava cake dessert was truly the cherry on top, absolutely top-notch. It's a shame there isn't a restaurant like this near where we live. We'll happily make the trip here again from time to time.

I'd give the service 5 stars. But unfortunately, in the end, it only deserves 2 stars. We booked a table for two online. The description stated that they would call us back. When no one had contacted us by the afternoon the next day, my husband called. The callback for the initial call came about an hour later—three hours before we were supposed to arrive. Okay. We then drove there, and the call back for the online table reservation came 30 minutes after we had already arrived at the restaurant. That's terrible organization. But okay. That wasn't the deciding factor for only giving it 2 stars. In the main dining room, there was only one family of three. A small christening party was taking place in the next room. When we ordered, we were told it would take about 10 minutes longer. We waited a whopping 45 minutes. The jazz music was much too loud, but they turned it down when I asked. The "crispy" rosemary potatoes were just tossed in oil. There was nothing crispy about them. The mushroom dish was just as bad. It was simply tossed in fat. The steak was sinewy and barely chewable. I've never eaten a rump steak so sinewy that it was practically unenjoyable. The chef was clearly overwhelmed. We complained, and the chef came to our table and suggested we order larger steaks so we'd have more meat. We ordered 300 grams and ended up spitting out about 70 grams because it was impossible to chew. He just shrugged at the rosemary potatoes. That's no way to provide service from the kitchen. Okay, the waitress was super friendly. For the long wait, we received a glass of wine and a €30 voucher as compensation for the poor food. We paid €100 for two people that evening. And neither steak was anything special. We're not sure if we'll give this restaurant and this chef another chance. If it weren't for the lovely, friendly waitress, even one star would be too generous. So I could only give an average of 2 stars.

We were there on Saturday around 4 pm. The welcome was very friendly, and we immediately felt comfortable. After we ordered, we received a complimentary amuse-bouche from the kitchen—a wonderful culinary experience. My wife had a filet steak, and I had a rib-eye steak. Both were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The meat was served on cast-iron plates, so it didn't get cold. All in all, perfect, and we will definitely be back.

The beef fillet was truly delicious. There's no doubt about that. I just think it's a shame that they cut corners, like with the Coke. I think a place like this should offer glass bottles, not drinks from PET bottles that are simply poured into a glass. However, the mayo shouldn't come from any tube. Please, like at the previous restaurant, bring homemade mayo to the table. It's more fitting for a place like this. And the coasters were also very cheap and crumpled.

A very elegant, tasteful restaurant. We ordered fennel oranges, borata with caramelized figs, and mushrooms for starters, and ribeye steak on lava stone, lamb fillet, and a burger for main courses. Hello everyone ✌️ Just wow! This is by far the best food I've ever eaten - and I've been to many restaurants. But none come even close to this one. It all started with a warm welcome, where you were immediately shown to a table that had already been set. You immediately feel welcome and everything is so well prepared that you can order straight away. From the starters to the dessert, it was a culinary journey. You can immediately notice the exceptionally high quality of the meat, especially with beef fillet and other meat dishes. The meat is so tender that it literally melts in your mouth. All in all, it was an absolutely great experience that I can highly recommend to everyone!

I visited this place with my family. I recommend rump steak and rib eye on the stone and all the side dishes. There are many different side dishes that I have ever seen. At the end you should definitely have a chocolate lava.

I recently visited Cabri's Steakhouse in Lippstadt and I have to say: I absolutely recommend it! The restaurant offers a cozy and stylish atmosphere – perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special evening with friends and family. Steaks of the highest quality The highlight is, of course, the steak. Great emphasis is placed on quality and preparation here. The meat is pre-cooked on an 800°C grill and then served on a hot lava stone, so everyone can determine their own desired doneness. A really good concept in my opinion! I had a dry-aged ribeye steak and it was simply perfect – incredibly tender, juicy, and with an intense, aromatic flavor. Great Side Dishes & Wide Selection In addition to the fantastic meat, there is also a great selection of sides and sauces. I opted for the sweet potato fries with sour cream – super crispy and perfectly seasoned. The homemade dips and fresh salads are also a delight. There's also a good selection of wines and cocktails to round out the taste experience. Excellent Service The service also deserves 5 stars! The staff are friendly, attentive, and competent – you immediately feel at home. The advice on meat selection and preparation was excellent. The price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. Quality of the steak was ok, BUT completely raw. The idea behind it is that every guest can fry their own steak using the lava stone. The problem here is that the lava stone burns the steak from below after a certain amount of time. I also expect a steakhouse to fry my steak for me and not for me to have to fry it myself. If I had known this beforehand, I would have refrained from visiting. We paid €85 for 2 steaks + 2 side dishes + 2 soft drinks. In addition, the ladies in service were absolutely unfriendly. You won't find me there a second time, I'd rather go to the Argentinian Steakhouse!

After a reasonable waiting time, the unsuitable attempt at serving followed. The female service person tried to push the first heavy wooden slate slab past me onto the table to my wife. The hot plate and steak slipped and landed on my pants and, after an evasive maneuver, on the chair or floor. My wife was able to prevent burning by reacting quickly with the napkin. In the toilet area I cooled my injured hand and temporarily cleaned my trousers. What followed.....no apology or anything like that. The replacement delivery followed surprisingly quickly?! and the other orders... No further apology or accommodation. Instead, the bill included beans and a dressing that had been ordered but were not delivered due to the chaos. After a complaint, the remaining amount was reduced... again without an apology or anything like that. Conclusion: despite good ingredients (especially the meat), a used Christmas evening, certainly without the risk of a repeat

Very long waiting time, after 40 minutes the drinks arrived, after 45 minutes we were able to order food. Unfortunately no one was full, regardless of whether it was a steak or a burger, meat was ok. Unfortunately the burger was cold. There was definitely a higher expectation for the prices. Table was still dirty and crumbs even though it had just opened and we were the first customers. Small children are out of place, no "children's menus" have to take large dishes or side dishes. Staff unsympathetic and disinterested, it seemed to us as if the atmosphere in the whole place was missing and we were unwanted!

If you like raw meat, this is your place. 800 degree oven and everything on the menu goes in there... no wonder that the burger and every single piece of meat we had was still raw... if you get a hot stone you can at least fry the meat yourself, but ordered it definitely not a burger!
