Das essend ist Hervorragend und ein Erlebnis dadurch das die Steaks auf einem Lavastein serviert werden und dray aged Beef angeboten wird meine Frau mein bester Freund und ich kommen immer wieder gerne hier her.

Wir waren am 4.7. mit 4 Personen Frühstücken, Essen, Bedienung, Ambiente sehr sehr gut, ich kann das Angus Frühstück in orientalischer Richtung vollumfänglich empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns auf das Steak!

Wir waren gestern im Steakhaus An-Gus Steakhouse in Lippstadt essen und sind absolut begeistert! Schon der „Gruß aus der Küche“ war ein Highlight: frische Tomaten mit Mozzarella, aromatischem grünem Pesto und dazu selbst gebackenes Sauerteigbrot – unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns die Susuk-Pfanne geteilt, die ebenfalls hervorragend geschmeckt hat. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Geschmack gelegt wird. Als Hauptgang hatten wir beide ein Rumpsteak, das auf einem heißen Stein serviert wurde, sodass man es selbst perfekt garen konnte. Das Fleisch war butterzart, saftig und von bester Qualität. Dazu gab es grünen Spargel, eine Pilzpfanne, eine Folienkartoffel und Rosmarinkartoffeln – alles frisch, geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und wunderschön angerichtet. Wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen und dabei so liebevoll präsentierte Gerichte erlebt. Auch das Ambiente und der Service haben den Abend perfekt gemacht. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen definitiv wieder! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Das Essen ist ein Traum, absolut lecker. Das Fleisch wird auf einem heissen Stein serviert zum fertig braten. Der Service ist das Gegenteil, über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten, ein absolutes no go.... Die Gläser sind leer, es kommt keiner und bringt ein neues, auch zwischendurch kommt keiner unf fragt, darf es noch was sein... Das Ambiente ist wie Kneipe und nicht wie ein Steakhaus. Da ist auf jeden Fall noch Luft nach oben...vor allem im Service Bereich...

Leider nicht gut. Auf die Vorspeise 45 Minuten gewartet. Auf Hauptgang dann noch mal 45-60 Minuten. Getränke ohne Kohlensäure und abgelaufen. Am Glas Rand alter Lippenstift. Burger und Pommes leider nicht gut. Vorspeise war ganz gut.

Ich war mit meiner Frau neulich das erste Mal hier und wir haben neben einem schönen Lokal und sehr zuvorkommenden Service auch klasse Essen bekommen! Parkplatz in der Nähe, schöne Außentersse, zentral und Angus Fleisch von Tieren, die hoffentlich frei laufen konnten. Alles prima. Eine Überraschung war aber der "Gruß aus der Küche". Selbst gemachter Humus mit Sauerteig Fladenbrot. Einfach lecker. Hätte ich als Hauptgericht bestellt. Die mega freundliche Bedienung hat alles rund gemacht. Da kommt man gerne wieder.

Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass man in Lippstadt so ein leckeres türkisches Frühstück bekommt. Alles war frisch, super angerichtet und sehr sehr lecker. Der Service war top, freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren heute dort , da meine Frau fastet, bat sie um eine Beratung über die Zusammensetzung der Speisen , diese wurde kompetent und freundlich durchgeführt . Als Vorspeise hatten wir eine Linsensuppe mit Curry. Leider wurde uns das Rezept nicht verraten 😉. Sie war köstlich und sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Auch die Hauptgerichte waren sehr gut, meine Frau hatte Lachs, zu dem das Risotto extra für sie ohne Käse bereitet wurde , Ich hatte die Kalbsleber die sehr zart war. Der Koch kann was, und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder

Tolles Restaurant das Ambiente ist sehr schön eingerichtet der Service Top, das Fleisch ein Traum. Wir werden wieder kommen, danke für den tollen Service.

Das Restaurant macht einen guten ersten Eindruck - insbesondere auf der Homepage. Leider ist die hauseigene Karte nicht aktuell. Wir haben uns online Appetit geholt und wurden dann vor Ort enttäuscht. Der Service ist nett aber gemächlich. Wir saßen 15 min bis zur Karte, haben 30 min auf die Vorspeise gewartet und ich schreibe diesen Text, während wir auf den Hauptgang warten. Leere Gläser sind leider keine Ausnahme. Wir hatten nach circa 2h unseren Hauptgang Das Essen ist geschmacklich gut und das Personal ist echt in Ordnung. Wir hatten etwas Zeitdruck, weil unser Kind zuhause war und waren echt unzufrieden aufgrund der langen Wartezeit. Dies wurde wahrgenommen und wir haben einen Gutschein als Entschädigung bekommen. Es sind wohl 2 Köche ausgefallen und eine große Gesellschaft hat sich spontan angekündigt. Das war für uns natürlich unvorteilhaft aber wir werden es definitiv nochmal testen, da das Essen wirklich gut war

Eine ganz andere Speisekarte als auf der Internet Seite. Wenig Qualität für viel Geld, ein Kalbsschnitzel aus der Fritteuse im Steakhaus ist ein absolutes NO GO, wenn grüne Nudeln serviert werden, sollte es vorher dem bestellenden Gast mit geteilt werden. Sorry, ein zweites mal gibt es nicht, dafür war es zu bescheiden.

Ich hatte einen wundervollen Tag. Es war eines der besten Essen, die ich seit meiner Ankunft in Deutschland hatte, ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Der Preis war auch sehr angemessen; im Vergleich zu anderen Steakrestaurants sehr günstig. Das Crème-brûlée-Dessert war legendär, unbedingt probieren!

Wir waren am Sonntag dort, hatten für drei reserviert. Sehr netter Inhaber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr entspannte Athmosphäre. Das Essen war top, tolle Produkte.

Also ich will ehrliches Feedback geben, auch wenn ich denke, dass schlechte Kommentare hier gelöscht werden (wie es scheint). Wir waren leider nicht zufrieden und das hat folgenden Grund: die heißen Steine haben das Steak bzw das Fett ordentlich spritzen lassen, sodass die Kleidung danach total zugesaut waren. Zudem wurde das Steak sehr blutig an den Tisch gebracht, aber durch den heißen Lavastein war das steak am Ende viel zu durch und hart. Auf Kritik hat der Chef (ebenso der Kellner) nicht reagiert. Argument: liegt daran weil das Rumpsteak so fertig ist. Kein Entschuldigung oder entgegenkommen. Das schlimmste was ein Gastronom machen kann, ist einen Gast unzufrieden aus dem Laden gehen zu lassen - aber so war es bei uns der Fall..

Update Januar 26: Neuer Besitzer, neues Glück. Heute mal wieder da gewesen, um es zu testen. Und wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln. Essen ist zwar etwas teurer geworden, aber Qualität war sehr gut. Ich kann es wieder bedenkenlos empfehlen! Update Oktober 24: Waren jetzt zum wiederholten Male hier und mir sind ein paar Dinge negativ aufgefallen: Essen war gut, daran gibt es nicht viel zu meckern, aber negativ war folgendes: 1. Keine Tischdeko, Tisch lieblos eingedeckt. 2. Der QR Code Aufkleber auf den Tisch war abgeranzt, könnte man mal erneuern. 3. Kein Biedeckel zu den Getränken, Tisch wurde nass. 4. Haben Getränk nachbestellt, wurde erst auf Nachfrage gebracht wurde vergessen. 5. Früher gab es immer eine Atraktion am Tisch mit Trockeneis und Nebel, dies gibt es leider nicht mehr. 6. Die Beilagen wurden einige Minuten vor den Steaks geliefert, somit waren sie nicht mehr ganz heiss, als die Hauptspeise kam. Dies sind alles keine gravierenden Mängel, aber bei dem Anspruch, welches dieses Steakhaus haben sollte, ein Makel. Alte Bewertung. Sehr leckeres Essen, Preise etwas gehoben, aber Qualität passt. Steaks auf der heißen Platte sind sehr gut. Wir können es bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend in diesem fantastischen Restaurant. Die Steaks waren die köstlichsten, die ich je gegessen habe. Besonders überrascht hat mich aber, dass die Vorspeisen Meeresfrüchte waren – und die waren ebenfalls hervorragend. Die Crème brûlée war der perfekte Abschluss des Abends. Das Ribeye Steak war köstlich. Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter und das Essen kam erstaunlich schnell zum Tisch(es waren aber nur wenige Leute da).

Wir waren vor einigen Tagen mit Freunden dort und haben Steaks gegessen, und ich muss sagen, das war richtig, richtig lecker und insgesamt supercool. Allein die Präsentation des Essens auf dem heißen Stein aus dem Steinbackofen war ein echtes Highlight, perfekt gegart und mit tollem Aroma. Dazu gab es Pommes, Reis und weitere Beilagen, außerdem zu jedem Essen einen frischen Salat sowie Backofenbrot mit Kräuterbutter. Getrunken haben wir Sprudelwasser. Das Restaurant war bereits um 17h30 sehr, sehr gut besucht, die Gäste wirkten sichtbar begeistert, die Stimmung war top, mit stimmigem Licht, angenehmem Ambiente und passender Musik. Man hatte klar das Gefühl, dass viele Stammgäste da waren. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Gast- und Hotelwirt (ich nenne ihn aus Datenschutzgründen hier nur „Mister H“ 😎), ein dekorierter Meisterkoch, extrem zuvorkommend, der sich persönlich um jeden Tisch gekümmert und mehrfach nachgefragt hat, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Nach dem Essen wurde den Gästen noch ein kleiner Aperitif angeboten, den manche angenommen und andere abgelehnt haben. Insgesamt ein großartiges Erlebnis mit Herz, Qualität und echter Gastfreundschaft!

Wir waren Silvester 2025 da und unser Fazit ist durchwachsen. Wir lieben das Konzept des Heißen Steins, deshalb haben wir das Restaurant gewählt. Größter Kritikpunkt: wir mussten ZWEI Stunden auf das Essen warten. Das Essen war gut, wir hatten ein Rumpsteak mit Folienkartoffel und ein Dry Aged Rumpsteak mit Steakhouse Pommes und Beilagensalat, das Fleisch war aber nicht gut pariert. Es sind die Kleinigkeiten, die einen Restaurantbesuch zum Erlebnis machen und die haben gefehlt: einheitliche Servietten, Beleuchtung und Salz/Pfeffer auf allen Tischen, wenig Nachfragen der Kellner, volle Garderobe (wir wurden gebeten, die Jacken über den Stuhl zu hängen), Speisekarte mit etlichen Rechtschreibfehlern, falsches Essen an Tisch gebracht, kein Brot oder ähnliches vorweg trotz langer Wartezeit... Mal sehen, ob wir das nochmal ausprobieren...

We ate at An-Gus on Christmas Eve and were absolutely delighted. I don't need to say much about the food; the meat melted in our mouths, and the side dishes were delicious and homemade. However, what I'd particularly like to highlight is the service. The staff were extremely friendly, hardworking, and attentive. There was no impersonal rushing through the guests, but rather professional service with a great sense of timing. I felt very welcome there. 6 stars

I'm in steak heaven right now. Dry-aged steak with lemon potatoes and a side of three vegetables. Simply a classic. All this in a relaxed atmosphere with soft piano music.

The food was great, especially the meat. Absolutely top-notch. It's just a shame that the empty glasses weren't cleared away and no one asked if I wanted anything else to drink.

We arrived here without a reservation, received a very friendly welcome, and luckily got the last table. When the food arrived, we were absolutely thrilled and extremely satisfied. The steaks were served on a hot lava stone and were incredibly tender and delicious. It really couldn't have been better. The mushroom pan and lemon potatoes were excellent. The rest of the rump steaks were superb. The lava cake dessert was truly the cherry on top, absolutely top-notch. It's a shame there isn't a restaurant like this near where we live. We'll happily make the trip here again from time to time.

A truly successful concept! The steak was served on a hot stone, allowing each guest to choose their preferred level of doneness. The meat was of excellent quality, tender and juicy. The service was friendly and attentive; we felt completely at ease. Highly recommended!

I'd give the service 5 stars. But unfortunately, in the end, it only deserves 2 stars. We booked a table for two online. The description stated that they would call us back. When no one had contacted us by the afternoon the next day, my husband called. The callback for the initial call came about an hour later—three hours before we were supposed to arrive. Okay. We then drove there, and the call back for the online table reservation came 30 minutes after we had already arrived at the restaurant. That's terrible organization. But okay. That wasn't the deciding factor for only giving it 2 stars. In the main dining room, there was only one family of three. A small christening party was taking place in the next room. When we ordered, we were told it would take about 10 minutes longer. We waited a whopping 45 minutes. The jazz music was much too loud, but they turned it down when I asked. The "crispy" rosemary potatoes were just tossed in oil. There was nothing crispy about them. The mushroom dish was just as bad. It was simply tossed in fat. The steak was sinewy and barely chewable. I've never eaten a rump steak so sinewy that it was practically unenjoyable. The chef was clearly overwhelmed. We complained, and the chef came to our table and suggested we order larger steaks so we'd have more meat. We ordered 300 grams and ended up spitting out about 70 grams because it was impossible to chew. He just shrugged at the rosemary potatoes. That's no way to provide service from the kitchen. Okay, the waitress was super friendly. For the long wait, we received a glass of wine and a €30 voucher as compensation for the poor food. We paid €100 for two people that evening. And neither steak was anything special. We're not sure if we'll give this restaurant and this chef another chance. If it weren't for the lovely, friendly waitress, even one star would be too generous. So I could only give an average of 2 stars.

We ate here for the first time and were absolutely blown away. The food was incredibly delicious, the steak cooked to perfection, and the truffle fries were fantastic. The service was super friendly, polite, personal, and genuinely welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We were there on Saturday around 4 pm. The welcome was very friendly, and we immediately felt comfortable. After we ordered, we received a complimentary amuse-bouche from the kitchen—a wonderful culinary experience. My wife had a filet steak, and I had a rib-eye steak. Both were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The meat was served on cast-iron plates, so it didn't get cold. All in all, perfect, and we will definitely be back.

The beef fillet was truly delicious. There's no doubt about that. I just think it's a shame that they cut corners, like with the Coke. I think a place like this should offer glass bottles, not drinks from PET bottles that are simply poured into a glass. However, the mayo shouldn't come from any tube. Please, like at the previous restaurant, bring homemade mayo to the table. It's more fitting for a place like this. And the coasters were also very cheap and crumpled.

A very elegant, tasteful restaurant. We ordered fennel oranges, borata with caramelized figs, and mushrooms for starters, and ribeye steak on lava stone, lamb fillet, and a burger for main courses. We were very captivated by the taste, the friendliness, and attentiveness of the staff, and the ambiance. The dishes were presented very attractively and colorfully. Menus were suddenly laminated, and the place has since started looking like a snack bar, with burgers suddenly becoming the focus. But we eat there more often.

Hello everyone ✌️ Just wow! This is by far the best food I've ever eaten - and I've been to many restaurants. But none come even close to this one. It all started with a warm welcome, where you were immediately shown to a table that had already been set. You immediately feel welcome and everything is so well prepared that you can order straight away. From the starters to the dessert, it was a culinary journey. You can immediately notice the exceptionally high quality of the meat, especially with beef fillet and other meat dishes. The meat is so tender that it literally melts in your mouth. All in all, it was an absolutely great experience that I can highly recommend to everyone!

I visited this place with my family. I recommend rump steak and rib eye on the stone and all the side dishes. There are many different side dishes that I have ever seen. At the end you should definitely have a chocolate lava.

I tried a burger today, actually I'm not a big fan of burgers. But here you get the highest quality, I will come back for burgers more often now. Very nice, cozy atmosphere, service is very professional and courteous. I'd love to come back.

The Angus Burger was absolutely delicious – juicy, fresh and just to the point! The team was also super friendly and attentive. You can immediately tell that people work here with passion. The store has a pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We started talking and at the end I gave a little tip on how you could make it even easier for guests to leave a review - with a review table for Google. Overall, a thoroughly successful visit – I’ll definitely be back!

The food was very tasty. We had beef fillet and dry-aged steak on the hot stone. Delicious! Thank you for the lovely evening :)

The ribeye steak was delicious. Highly recommended restaurant. Very nice staff and the food came to the table surprisingly quickly (but there were only a few people there).

Very good value for money overall, especially dry aged beef on the lava stone, Wagyu burger, Wagyu tartare Diverse menu, nice service. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are looking for that certain something.
