I have to say I've never eaten such delicious food anywhere. Everything was great and the staff was nice

Für das Abendessen schauten wir uns vor der Anreise virtuell am Marktplatz in Kalkar. Der Name und das Konzept haben uns gleich gefallen und so waren wir gespannt auf die praktische Umsetzung. Auch wenn die Speisekarte nicht groß ist brauchten wir eine Weile um uns zwischen den leckeren Gerichten von vegan bis Fleisch zu entscheiden. Die Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat waren perfekt, man schmeckte die Handwerkskunst des Kochs und die guten Zutaten. Nachtisch, Getränke und Service waren ebenfalls top! Würden wir in der Gegend wohnen, so hätten wir jetzt ein neues Stammlokal.

A cozy corner restaurant with very good food. The salad was fresh and the Stübchenschnitzel with fried potatoes and fried egg was very tasty. The fish stew with fried potatoes is also highly recommended.

Brunch for €18.90 was promised. What we found was a small spatonic, carelessly prepared breakfast. Very unimaginative without much choice. Not recommended for the price!!!!

I was in this little restaurant on March 2nd, 2025 on a wonderful sunny day. The service was great, as was the food. I can only recommend it 🤩

I'm not normally one of those people who gives out bad reviews, but unfortunately I feel compelled to do so today. I wouldn't recommend the brewery and wouldn't go there again. There were two of us there today and we were neither enthusiastic about the food nor the service, as the waiter was quite unfriendly. It seems as if he goes through with his job because he has no other choice. Inquiring whether we are satisfied seemed to be superfluous to him and his answers to drinks or dessert requests were answered succinctly. I gave my soup back, it was far from a beef broth in terms of taste and unfortunately the main course also left a lot to be desired! Too bad!

Were there with a larger group. Had to give the food days in advance. Nevertheless, the first one had already finished his food and the last one hadn't had his food yet. Otherwise there wasn't much going on. Unfortunately the service wasn't really motivated. Drinks came quickly but a bit unmotivated. And at exactly 10:15 p.m. we had to finish work even though there were 18 people there…. Such a shame
