Great food, great service. I'd gladly go back.

We come here regularly for lunch, and the staff is super friendly. You can tell the food is regional and seasonal, and a lot of care goes into its preparation.

Very hip, lots of veggies, but not everything. Something for everyone on the menu. But also relatively expensive. Located in a very nice spot.

The staff there were really friendly, and the food was excellent. They even had vegan men's cream 😍

A very family-friendly restaurant. Highchairs and a mobile changing table are available. The lunch menu and homemade cakes are highly recommended.

Yesterday, I ate there for the first time with a friend. Although I'm skeptical of vegan cuisine, I ordered a vegan dish, and it was very, very tasty. The service also deserves five stars.

Super delicious food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. The new outdoor chairs are also very comfortable.

We visited Glüxxklee twice, once in the afternoon and once for dinner. 4 adults and a toddler (under 1 year old) We ate cake and ice cream on the terrace, and everyone was happy with their cake. The strawberries were delicious and the little one also enjoyed them. The next day, we returned for dinner, and the positive first impression from the previous day was confirmed. Shortly after we sat down, the chef came over and chatted with us for a bit. He also asked if the toddler wanted anything to eat. She was mainly eating the insides of cucumbers and strawberries at the moment, was our reply, and this was then served to her with our meal. We ordered two meat dishes and two vegan dishes. Each of us was very satisfied with our food and felt the prices were fair for the quality and freshness we received. The service staff was very nice and friendly on both days. They took good care of the tables, and all orders arrived quickly.

Für das Abendessen schauten wir uns vor der Anreise virtuell am Marktplatz in Kalkar. Der Name und das Konzept haben uns gleich gefallen und so waren wir gespannt auf die praktische Umsetzung. Auch wenn die Speisekarte nicht groß ist brauchten wir eine Weile um uns zwischen den leckeren Gerichten von vegan bis Fleisch zu entscheiden. Die Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat waren perfekt, man schmeckte die Handwerkskunst des Kochs und die guten Zutaten. Nachtisch, Getränke und Service waren ebenfalls top! Würden wir in der Gegend wohnen, so hätten wir jetzt ein neues Stammlokal.

Spargel - aber ohne Butter? das "vegane" Restaurant serviert Schnitzel und Huhn - aber keine geschmolzene Butter zum frischen Spargel - erstaunlich! Sattdessen Margarine (oder vegane Holondaise) die schmeckt, wie Motorenöl...habe etwas anderes gegessen.

Anyone who eats meat is in the wrong place here. If you like greens...great! Not me. The waitress is also unable to ask for drinks.... not again!,........... Answer to your answer: Are you just offering me to prove my strength to you in real life or how am I supposed to understand this brazen threat? Their waitress wasn't even able to seat us let alone ask for drinks. Who was I supposed to tell that this concept wasn't for us? Your ridiculous approach "against" your guests is questionable. I didn't write anything bad. They're just not designed to run a local business. Criticism is always good because it allows you to grow. With them, however, it's black... they won't be able to keep up this behavior for much longer. Remember my words when it passes......

The Glüxxklee... Whether it's just "normal" food or the special surprise menus, it's just great.

We really enjoy eating at Glüxxklee. During all our visits, we've always received courteous service. The food is always excellent, no matter what we order! We can highly recommend Glüxxklee. We especially like the fact that the products used are locally sourced. The chef has a great eye for detail!

Great ambience. Very good food. Very nice team. The Scampi Citizen was a poem. I could fool myself with that. I'm looking forward to new great dishes in the future. I would welcome dishes with coconut.

We had an excellent meal at Glüxxklee. The service staff was very accommodating and asked several times during the meal whether everything was to our satisfaction. As a starter I had bread with dips. The baguette was crispy and decorated with fresh herbs. The two dips (red pesto and a hummus with citrus flavors) were obviously freshly homemade and very tasty. The main course (Spätzle with Brussels sprouts and herb sauce) was also homemade and very tasty. There was also a very nice and generous side salad. The portions were generous. We had a great time and are already looking forward to next time.

Service very friendly and quick. But unfortunately the food wasn't convincing. The pumpkin risotto/fennel/fried pear arrived so that the rice was undercooked, which is supposedly what the chef wants. Then I had to go back on the stove. The pumpkin was almost sought after in the dish and was more of an embellishment than the basis of the rice dish. Spices were completely missing. Pear and fennel were accompaniments. Too bad. I

Very friendly, helpful staff! Cocoa made from coconut milk, super delicious! The chocolate blueberry cake was a bit disappointing. I've only heard good things about the warm dishes from the neighboring tables.

Service was good and nice. Unfortunately no food. Burger really dry and with standard ketchup. Fries are better in most chip shops. Not a highlight. Pasta with fried arugula. I don't know where to assign it yet. Dry, tough and without taste. Vegetarian and delicious is different.

It's always nice to sit at the market square in Kalkar, but for me that was about it with the really positive points. We were eating with a larger group and no one was really impressed. Many products such as the pesto tasted like mass-produced goods, and we are also sure that the fat from the deep fryer was old and therefore rancid. The service was super friendly, but obviously untrained. That simply doesn't match the price-performance ratio.

The food wasn't tasty but expensive. The service (unskilled) was borderline. The cappuccino was milk soup. I recommend that the operator eat the food offered himself. If he waves that off, I recommend visiting professionals. No second visit.

Very tasty steak. Great dessert and a very lovely service team! We spent a wonderful evening there and were allowed to sit outside for a long time even though it was already closing time. Thanks again!!!

Very friendly and quick service in a relaxed atmosphere in comfortable armchairs and the food was fantastic. Vegan card. Toilet clean and with hygiene items I also think the fabric towels are great.

We are now regular guests and are always amazed by what the boss puts on our plates. Visually very appealing, excellent craftsmanship and totally delicious! The service is always friendly and accommodating.

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere. There were two of us here and we had a vegetarian dish and a burger. The coconut curry soup as a starter was excellent, as were the main courses. The prices are absolutely reasonable. Anyone who complains about the price here should make a sandwich at home! It was old fresh and everything was great. We'd love to come back.

Nice little restaurant right on the market square in Kalkar. Very nicely decorated, nice service and really good food. Vegan and vegetarian dishes are particularly marked on the menu.

We were surprised that there is a vegan restaurant in Kalkar. We were received very openly, the dog was also allowed in and immediately received a bowl of water. There is an extensive choice of vegan dishes. Nice spacious interior. Pleasant service. An asset to the world 🌍

Wir waren zu zweit an einem Sonntagabend spontan im Glüxxklee essen. Herzlich wurden wir empfangen und zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Die Speisekarte beinhaltet hauptsächlich vegetarische und vegane Gerichte sowie zusätzlich jeweils ein Fleisch- und Fischgericht. Außerdem kann man hier am Nachmittag zum Kaffee und Kuchen einkehren. In der Auslage standen Kuchen und Torten welche alle sehr ansprechend und selbstgemacht waren. Wir entschieden uns für eine Linsenlasagne mit Beilagensalat und ein Gemüsecurry mit Reis. Zum Abschluss teilten wir uns noch ein Stück Torte. Alles schmeckte uns wirklich hervorragend. Der Geschmack, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und der nachhaltige, regionale Ansatz überzeugen uns. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!

Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Wir waren zum veganen 6-Gänge Candle-Light Dinner dort. Kreative leckere Gerichte. Genau richtig auch für den großen Hunger. Nach dem Essen kam der Koch an jeden Tisch und fragte, wie es geschmeckt hatte und welche Kritik oder Lob es gibt. Sehr Saison orientiert und auch sehr nachhaltig. Gerne wieder! Auch der Kaffee und Kuchen zwei Tage später bestätigten die Bewertung von uns. Wir werden wieder vorbei kommen und freuen uns jetzt bereits darauf. 😊

Traumhafte Lokation mit veganen Optionen. Der Latte Macchiato mit Hafermilch war super und der vegane Pflaumenkuchen war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Dazu konnten wir den bei Sonnenschein den Marktplatz genießen. Definitiv empfehlenswert!

Die Idee eines vegetarischen Restaurants finde ich super. Was mich aber bisher verwundert hat, ist dass bei den Hauptgerichten solche mit Fleisch und Fisch eben doch dabei sind, und auch relativ prominent als erste auf der Karte platziert sind. Außerdem fand ich die drei Veggie-Gerichte, die ich bisher ausprobiert habe, relativ basic und würde mir wünschen, dass es ein wenig mutiger und kulinarischer in Richtung Petersilchen werden würde. Ein guter Falafel-Burger ist schon nett, aber es gibt auch wesentlich mehr vegetarische Gerichte als Veggie-Burger oder Spaghetti. Unter einem Sommersalat mit Melone und Ziegenkäse würde ich mir mehr vorstellen als einen Standard-Eisbergsalat mit Tomaten und unaufregendem Dressing, der mit ein paar Wassermelonen-Stücken und Ziegenkäse-Bröseln am Rand optisch aufgewertet wird. Da geht noch was! 🫶🏻 Aber ich bleibe gespannt und hoffe, an der Karte tut sich noch was! Das Ambiente ist okay (bisher nur draußen gesessen), könnte aber noch einen Tacken gemütlicher sein, z.B. mit gemütlicheren Stühlen oder ein paar Vasen o.Ä. auf den Tischen :)

Durch einen Gutschein sind wir auf dieses süße Restaurant mit dem außergewöhnlichen Namen quasi eingeladen worden. Es war in allen Belangen WOW. Vom Service, zum Essen , die Freundlichkeit , die Nachfrage, das Ambiente , einfach alles zusammen. Wir kommen wieder.

Richtig gutes Essen mit viel Liebe zubereitet und einem guten Ambiente! Auch die Auswahl an veganen/vegetarischen Gerichten ist bemerkenswert! Zudem werden viele Gerichte auch mit Zutaten aus der Region zubereitet.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einer super freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Bedienung. Für alle ist etwas dabei(Fleisch, Vegetarisch, Vegan) und die Qualität der Produkte merkt man dem Essen an. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen!

Wir haben einen Vanille Latte und einen Cocktail bestellt der Vanille Latte war Milch mit Wasser👎 also nicht der Burner der Cocktail war nicht der Cocktaiö wie man ihn kennt überhaupt nicht schön dekoriert einfach Sachen ins Glas genixt eine kleine Scheibe Orange fertig keine Deko also das war miserabel als Cocktail serviert ....... fürs Auge waren beide Getränke überhaupt nicht dekoriert.....👎👎

Chagrijnige en erg trage bediening aan onze kant van het terras. Aan de andere kant leek trouwenswel een vlotte en aardige dame. We hebben daarom na een drankje besloten om ergens anders te eten. De kaart zag er aantrekkelijk uit met creatieve vegetarische gerechten. Had het anders graag geprobeerd, maar de vibe van de bediening was te onplezierig.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir als nicht Veganer oder Vegetarier haben sehr gut und schmackhaft gespeist. Die Bedienungen und auch der Chef sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Gerne besuchen wir das Lokal noch weitere Male. Wenn ich etwas zu kritisieren hätte, wäre es der Preis von einem Glas Wein. Den fand ich doch etwas überzogen. Das liegt aber wohl an der heutigen Zeit, die Umstände in der Gastronomie und und und…. Davon habe ich keine Ahnung. Diese Preise sind einfach normal heutzutage. Es hat unseren schönen Abend nicht versaut, ich wollte es nur mal erwähnen. Unser Abend, das Essen und das Personal waren großartig. Für uns eine klare Bereicherung am Niederrhein. Wir wünschen euch viel Erfolg.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort Essen. Ich glaube als "normal" Esser geht man gern daran vorbei, obwohl es auch (ich glaube 2) Fleischgerichte auf der Karte gibt. Wir sind keine Veganer oder Vegetarier, aber für alles offen. Wir hatten Spargel mit Schmörkes, ist ja allgemein bekannt und beliebt und einen kleinen Spargelsalat, einen Falafel Burger mit Kartoffelstiften und Erdbeeren mit Vanilleeis. Fazit: Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Es war ALLES sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt Menschen die bemängeln die Preise, dem würde ich vielleicht teilweise zustimmen. Bei dem kleinen Salat fand ich den Preis auch etwas zu hoch, aber ok, ich bin Gast kein Gastronom. Das gilt auch bei dem Glas Wein für 7,50 EUR. Aber auch hier denke ich, das mittlerweile fast alle die Preise angezogen haben. Egal, das hat unseren Abend nicht betrübt. Wenn wir Essen gehen, dann möchten wir uns über keine Preise aufregen, wir möchten einfach den Abend genießen, sonst braucht man doch nicht Essen gehen. Wir freuen uns auf jeden Fall auf`s nächste Mal.

Keine lange Wartezeit, entspanntes Ambiente und leckere Gerichte. Sehr veganerfreundlich, aber auch die Fleischesser sind gut versorgt.
