My wife and I went there for the first time last night. We visited my wife's old home and surrounding area. And we went through all the pizzeria restaurants online with the most and best reviews. So off to Rialto. 😎What should we say. Really as described in the reviews. The food was really more than great! The pizza dough is an absolute dream! That's how it has to be! The owners are super friendly, cheerful and above all “real” and not fake. The business is not just a means to an end, there is love and passion behind it and genuine joy in the work! If we lived here, we would be regular customers! Maybe this will also be our home in the future. I love the Lower Rhine, not just because of the surroundings but also because of the mentality of the people. Thanks again to the owners for the lovely, tasty evening! 😊

I like the pizzeria, especially after the renovation. Everyone is always friendly. The pizza, the pasta, the wine, somehow I've never had anything that didn't taste good. The price is ok, for everyone. One of the few restaurants that I recommend.

We wanted to try a new pizzeria again and ended up in Kalkar. The guest room is very clear and quite attractively designed. The chairs are comfortable - let's go. The young service lady is a source of good humor and friendliness, who seems so refreshingly genuine and authentic that you immediately feel at home. We ordered 2 pizzas. These are not Neapolitan style, i.e. not with a soft, fluffy edge, but more Roman style. Large pizzas are also baked with a layer filled with cheese - then it becomes fluffy. It's not that easy to get a pizza with anchovies, capers and black olives so that the pizza doesn't seem too salty, but rather wonderfully hearty. It worked brilliantly here! Price-performance is really good. A relaxed, delicious diner. We'd love to come back there.

Addendum to the original review: And once again, they're just using the familiar form of address. It also has something to do with respect... but it fits with my last impression. ‐------------------------------------------------------ I was recently in Kalkar on a weekend evening to fill up my tank and spontaneously went to Rialto because I wanted to take a pizza with me. Then, when I ordered on-site, I received an unfriendly message from the owner saying that pre-orders should be made by phone on weekends. So, I'll be ordering from the car and waiting in the cold car until I can pick up the pizza if I'm in Kalkar and spontaneously want to take a pizza with me. I was also just using the familiar form of address, even though I'm quite a bit older than the owner and we don't know each other personally. The pizza wasn't our taste. The crust was too thick and there was way too much cheese. Well, I thought I'd try it again after years. But I'm thinking about leaving for now. Too bad.

The pizza is really delicious. We just came across the store by chance and are glad we did. People were very, very friendly and everything is clean and bright. When we come back to the area this will be our first stop.

We used the delivery service to Womopark Moyland. Even though the delivery time required patience, it was worth it. The pizzas and pizza rolls arrived hot and were very tasty. The topping was fresh, not soggy and not drowned in cheese. We enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

From the outside it may not give the impression that it is anything better than a kebab shop or pizza pick-up station. It's warm inside and isn't designed to be a romantic pizzeria. But: You can find the best 🍕 pizza and pasta here. The service excellent. People kept asking if everything was OK. Price performance very good. We ate carpachio, a small salad, salami pizza and baked tortellini. Always my pleasure.

Pizza so salty you can't taste any of the other ingredients. Way too much cheese on it, if it really was cheese.

The service is friendly and the order was delivered promptly. We had to settle for an extremely salty pizza that was inedible. Even hardened salt eaters could hardly eat the pizza. Hunger drove her in... The cheese was plentiful but without a defined flavor. Did the chef/pizza maker have a bad day or where do all the positive reviews come from?

Pizza was limp and - if anything - average. According to the friend, it was super late again... No apology or explanation, definitely somewhere else next time.

We arrived in Kalkar late due to a journey, so most of the restaurants were already closed. We discovered the Rialto by chance. When we asked if we could eat something else, we were very kindly told, yes, but it will probably take a while because deliveries still have to be processed first. To bridge the waiting time, we received a greeting from the house, delicious warm pizza rolls with a great cream. We then ate beef carpaccio, pasta and pizza. It couldn't be topped. There was even a drink from the house while we waited. We are only here for a few days, but we will definitely visit the Rialto again during this time. The friendliness of the staff should also be emphasized.

Super friendly young operator. The calzone is (almost) unbeatable in terms of value for money. The salads are good, the portion could be a little larger for my taste. But they're definitely not small either.

Rather inconspicuous from the outside. Inside but furnished with love. The food is right! good. First we had the pizza rolls, which stood out positively because of their dough. No lumps of dough but very tasty, airy rolls with a great cream. We continued with the appetizer platter and the bruschetta. In short, there was not a crumb left. Very nice selection with grilled vegetables, shrimps and cheese balls. The bruschetta with a pleasant amount of onions and very tasty tomatoes. A good amount for 6 people. And of course the pizza. Great edge, as with the rolls, and generously topped and not very greasy. I was completely satisfied. There was no room in my stomach for dessert. We would love to come back. Not least because of the friendly and great service. grace

In advance…. Food is always very tasty Staff on site are always very friendly Ordering by phone is very poor and you get the feeling that they don't actually want to do that. Called and the lady on the phone said..."just a moment please"... After 6 minutes my wife called, the same game…” one moment please” We then both have conversations afterwards Aborted after 7 minutes...

We were at a trade fair in Kalkar and wanted to go out to eat. I chose the pizzeria based on the reviews. The first impression was rather surprising because there are only a few places and a lot of to go/delivery is carried out. Not the classic pizzeria we expected. The food (starters salads bruschetta and carpacchio, main course pizza and dessert tiramisu) were all super tasty and beautifully presented. The service was also impeccable. Very personable and loving. Can only recommend a visit

So weh es aufgrund der eigentlich empfundenen Nettigkeit und auch dem guten Essen tut - es ist so schlichtweg nicht tragbar. Eigentlich wollte ich auch eher 1 Stern geben, aber es schmeckt halt dennoch sehr gut, daher 2.. Eigentlich wäre aber 1 Stern aufgrund der jedes Mal gebrochenen Zeitangaben als "Strafe" richtig. Wenn man sich als Dienstleister ständig nicht an versprochene Konditionen hält, dann sollte man sich hier einfach mal hinterfragen.. Wir haben in Vergangenheit gerne bestellt und werden es voraussichtlich Aufgrund des Geschmacks weiter tun, aber es kann einfach nicht sein, dass man z. B. bei Lieferando mit Zeiten von 35 Minuten geködert wird, nur um dann jedes Mal doch um die 2 Stunden warten zu müssen. Es ist zwar lieb gemeint, wenn man dann eine Gratis-Cola bekommt, aber nach dem 5x ist es wie eine Entschuldigung, wo man den Bruch des nächsten Versprechens riechen kann. Was ich mir daher als Kunde wünsche: - Eine transparente und ehrliche Zeitangabe -> nicht "35 Minuten" angeben und das Essen dann nach 2h mit Anrufen erhalten - Auskunft ohne anzufragen - selbstverständlich ehrlich -> Wenn ihr schon (Regelfall) länger braucht, dann sagt den Kunden doch bitte eigenständig bescheid. Statt das man als Kunde nachfragen muss.. Ich denke aber, dass Aufgrund der Routine eher damit gepokert wird, dass keine Beschwerde kommt. Das haben auch wir lange so gehandhabt, aber irgendwann muss man dem Dienstleister dann auch signalisieren: "Da läuft was schief..". - Eine Absage/Nicht-Bestätigung der Onlinebestellung, wenn ich als Dienstleister sehe: Da kommt Arbeit rein, Welche ich gerade zeitlich-, personal-, liefertechnisch nicht bewältigen kann. Wir hoffen im Sinne des Betreibers, dass da ggf. mal modernisiert und umgestellt wird (in der Zeitplanung und Kommunikation), denn das Essen an sich ist wie gesagt TOP..

Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Preis Leistung stimmt meiner Meinung nach auch. Das Personal und auch der Chef sind immer freundlich. Allerdings muss man bei Bestellungen auser Haus leider oft länger warten wie angegeben wird.

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, maar ik begrijp de hoge score van dit restaurant niet zo goed. We hebben hier gegeten toen we onderweg naar huis waren vanuit onze vakantie in Italië. Het pizzadeeg lijkt op het deeg van diepvriespizza's en in de verste verte niet op Italiaanse pizza. De smaak was prima, maar wij verbaasden ons over de bodem. (Hij wordt absoluut wel vers bereid, dat trek ik niet in twijfel). We hadden ook een pasta, welke we wel erg lekker vonden.

Bardzo smaczne jedzenie, duże porcje. Obsługa miła, czas oczekiwania okej. Wrócimy na pewno:)

Besser geht es nicht! Sehr freundlich und sympathisch! Das Essen (egal ob Pizza oder Nudeln) war sehr lecker und preislich absolut in Ordnung. Die Portionen Nudeln waren ordentlich. Auch die Pizzen sehr gut belegt. Top! Wir haben bisher einmal liefern lassen und haben (weil das Essen so lecker war) kurz darauf mit Freunden in der Pizzeria selbst gegessen. Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich. Auch unsere Freunde waren sehr zufrieden. Logisch, dass man etwas warten muss... Denn sehr gute Qualitätsarbeit dauert nunmal etwas 😉 Macht bitte weiter so, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Haben für DLRG Landesmeisterschaften dort bestellt. Von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung hat alles super geklappt. Auch das Essen hat den Sportlern sehr geschmeckt. Danke noch einmal.

Wir hatten über Lieferando eine Pizza und einen Salat bestellt bei dem Salat haben wir mehrere Sachen dazu bestellt und laut Lieferando sollte dass essen um 19:31 Uhr kommen und um 19:38 wurde ich angerufen und es wurde gesagt das dass viel zu viel gewesen wäre was wir für den Salat dazu bestellt haben meiner Meinung würde ich dann dazu schreiben dass man beispielsweise nur 3 weiter Zutaten dazu wählen kann nachdem die dann angerufen hatten aber wir zwar auch genau dass bekommen was wir bestellt hatten nur leider hat der Salat absolut nicht geschmeckt und das lag nicht an den Extras die wir dazu bestellt hatten, dass essen kam dann erst um ca. 20:35 Uhr. Mit Bestellung und allem drum und dran haben wir ca.3.5 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet.

Wir haben hier heute super lecker gegessen. Der Service war echt freundlich und auch unser Hund war willkommen und hat was zum trinken bekommen. Die Pizza war mega lecker und die Pasta Pollo ein Gedicht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Nachdem ich im Internet die guten Bewertungen gelesen habe, mussten wir die Pizzeria unbedingt ausprobieren. Leider konnten wir nicht vor Ort essen, wegen Corona! Deshalb haben wir die Pizzen 🍕 mitgenommen. Die Pizzen schmeckten sehr gut und wurden mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Ich wurde sehr nett und freundlich bedient. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
