The staff were very nice, however, I found it disappointing that there were hardly any tables available whenever we went to the pizza buffet. Furthermore, the selection was very limited. Despite this, we received compensation, and they apologized for the inconvenience. Despite everything, I would definitely eat there again.

We've been going to the Ratskeller on Christmas Day for years. The food itself is always very good. However, I've been a vegetarian for four years, and the menu hasn't been changed in that regard in four years. There's no vegetarian option, and for years the only main course has been a vegetable lasagna. After four years, I expect a bit more creativity from a restaurant in this price range. It shouldn't be a problem to offer two or three vegetarian main courses. Vegans, by the way, won't find anything suitable here.

Two weeks ago, at my partner's insistence, I, a meat-eater, attended a vegan candlelight dinner at Glüxxklee for the first time. Today is my second visit, and I ordered the goose menu. Unlike my previous vegan visit, today's goose menu was absolutely delicious. The vegan menu took some getting used to, but it tasted great. It was different from what I'm used to as a meat-eater, but still very tasty. My fear that the chef could "only" cook vegan food was completely unfounded. I have rarely eaten such good red cabbage in a restaurant. The goose leg with the bread dumplings was also delicious. Now we're already looking forward to what the chef will come up with for the fish days that will take place there on January 17th and February 14th, 2026. Whatever they serve, we're sure to leave satisfied. The ambiance is more reminiscent of a café. In my opinion, something fresher and more modern would be more fitting for a good restaurant.

Good and tasty home-style cooking, schnitzel and everything else was top-notch. At a very good price. Friendly and nice staff. The photo is a special treat from the kitchen: bread with delicious garlic and herb cream. It was super delicious again today, November 15, 2025.
