The restaurant's location is super nice. The place is getting on in years, but it's certainly popular with older people. A bit more modern would be nice and would attract younger people. But everything is super clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, there's little choice for vegetarians and vegans. However, what was offered was delicious. The vegan pasta with mushrooms is highly recommended, even if it was a bit small. A salad would have been great. It's a shame they don't offer a side salad. My mother ordered fish, and she was more than thrilled. The highlight was the cake. The strawberry cake was fantastic, and the Bienenstich (bee sting cake) was brilliant. The service was excellent. Super friendly and welcoming. In the summer, it's definitely great to sit on the sunny terrace. Even though everything is a bit dated, and vegan and vegetarian dishes aren't offered enough, I can't deduct a point, as everything else was perfect. We will definitely be back 👍

A true culinary experience! The four-course carousel was superbly put together – each dish perfectly complemented the next. The chef knows their craft and surprises with creative variations and sophisticated flavors. Making small changes to the menu was no problem, and receiving additional recommendations – a wonderful, personalized touch! Particularly impressive was the dedicated and friendly service, which not only accommodates requests but also offers additional food and drink recommendations. If you love good food and appreciate variety, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back!

We were at the Schöne Sternen Ramen in Hattingen and wanted to eat something in peace and quiet in the old town. Food was delicious and the place where the restaurant is great. The service really tries hard, unfortunately not all guests feel the same way when they have to wait about 30 minutes for their food. Guys, it's absolutely fresh and entertaining 50 people with 3 people is difficult. As a thank you, we drank an ouzo with the innkeeper

I was booked as a photographer at a wedding at 12 Apostles and can only recommend it. The hall is beautiful and was a perfect size for around 100 guests. An excellent meal was served. The service staff was attentive and friendly. The hall and the adjacent forest were ideal for the photo shoot with the bride and groom.

We as a group met here for brunch in the beautiful old town of Hatting - and had a great time here! Food delicious and varied, something for everyone and service attentive and very friendly. Plenty of seating inside and outside, with sun spots and everything for one or more people. We'll be back!

Wonderful view and extremely friendly service. The food is home-style. Unfortunately, no animal-free alternatives on the menu - which suits the BOOMER crowd. If adjustments are made here in the future, the restaurant will be even better for us. But all in all a nice place.

I was at Café Auflauf for the second time today, very friendly and courteous employees. The food was very good and my dog ​​was given a water bowl without asking. It doesn't get any better. I'd love to come back.
