I called yesterday and also got a table for four people for the same day. We arrived on time. The table was reserved outside. There was no staff outside, so I went inside – the waiter saw me, and from his look on my face, I could tell this visit wasn't going to be fun. No hello – nothing. I told him I had a table reservation. He just said, "I'll be right there." We stood in front of the door for a long time, waiting for the waiter to come out. It was obvious that no special table had been reserved for us. He pointed to a table where other guests were sitting and said, "They'll be up soon, so you can sit there – or at the table behind." We sat down at the table behind. After a while, the man brought us the menus. Only when we asked did he take our drink orders. It was clear that we were actually just a nuisance. The drinks arrived after a while – but they were still Coke and Spezi, and the shandy had hardly any Sprite. We accepted this. No one came to order our food. He then walked past our table – my husband then said, "We would have liked to order something to eat too." Without any reaction, he continued on, did something, and after a while came back and grumbled, "I realize you're not here for fun..." If we hadn't been there to eat with company, this would have been the point at which we would have gotten up and left. Finally, we were allowed to order food, which eventually arrived. For our starter, I had a baguette with aioli. Let's just say it was average – there wasn't much to complain about, except that the baguette looked like a supermarket's own-brand baguette. The bruschetta my husband and father ordered had nothing in common with a regular bruschetta in terms of taste and color. As for the main courses: Well… 3 of the 4 people had the Bauernschnitzel, which is served with fried potatoes, sauce, and salad. The salad came first – it tasted good. Then came the meat, which was stringy and dry, drowning in the sauce, which apparently had no seasonings at all, just like the fried egg that was placed on top of the schnitzel. A "loving" garnish was half a cocktail tomato that had somehow gotten in there. The one star I have to give goes to the female waitress, who at least asked if we enjoyed our meal. When we told her we didn't, she offered us a coffee and was very friendly. But it goes even further… When we went to pay, my husband tipped the waiter (which I didn't understand, but maybe he felt obligated to do so). A "thank you"? No, there wasn't. The other person at our table didn't want to tip. The waiter simply took it and didn't give us any change (it was about 2-3 euros). The person said nothing and accepted it. I'm not usually someone who carelessly gives a bad review, because I know how damaging it can be, but this experience was inevitable. So I absolutely wouldn't recommend it, and we certainly won't be visiting there again. When I saw the reviews afterwards, which have been increasingly negative lately, I was annoyed that I hadn't looked there beforehand. And the way they respond to reviews confirms the impression I formed yesterday. Because in their responses to reviews, they never place the blame on them; it was always different from what the guests described... That's not how you treat customers. Sorry.

We celebrated our outdoor wedding in the barn at Landhaus Preuß and would do it again in a heartbeat. Even during our initial discussions, we really liked the relaxed and friendly manner of the owners, and we felt at home from the very beginning. All of our guests also gave us great feedback on the friendly staff, the delicious barbecue buffet, and the uncomplicated process. We continue to eat here regularly even after our wedding and are always impressed by the high quality and beautiful ambiance.

What can we say? We couldn't be happier! We celebrated our wedding with 85 guests in the barn on July 19th. In every interaction with Landhaus Preuß, we were treated with exceptional kindness and friendliness, whether by the staff or the Preuß family. Everyone was courteous, reliable, and welcoming. We felt incredibly comfortable! We always received good advice and enjoyed delicious food, including vegan and vegetarian alternatives. The venue is immaculately maintained and beautifully situated. Not to mention the many options the country house offers and allows for. The evening was truly wonderful, and we can only thank the entire team from the bottom of our hearts for everything!

A real insider tip! Landhaus Preuß is a beautiful, lovingly run hotel with a special charm. The rooms are stylishly furnished, spotlessly clean, and inviting. The breakfast was plentiful and regional – simply delicious! The warm service is particularly noteworthy: you feel completely welcome. We would love to come back!

We've eaten at Landhaus Preuss several times (most recently yesterday with 10 people) and have always been very satisfied. We'd especially like to highlight the always very friendly and attentive service, even on busy days! We can't find anything negative about the food either, whether it's the cakes/waffles or the evening menu. Quite the opposite – considering the selection, the effort involved in preparing the food, and the quality, we find the value for money to be excellent and truly fair. And by the way – we (as rather discerning eaters) also enjoy it.

We ate at Landhaus Preis again today. We can all agree that the price-performance ratio is no longer in line. The portions are very small. If you order a side of potatoes, you get four half potatoes with the meat or, in this case, the fish dish. Others can do better. It wouldn't be for us anymore.

First, the positive: the food was generally good. But now comes the catch: we had to wait over two hours for it. We had ordered our meals in advance by phone. Yes, there were about 20 of us and we had ordered for 6 p.m. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:50 p.m., and the food arrived after 8 p.m. Several inquiries only resulted in postponements that were not kept. Most of us felt, to put it politely, like we were being made fun of by the staff. One negative was that card payments in the restaurant are only accepted for €20 or more. That is posted in our restaurant, but I didn't notice it. These days, you buy rolls from the bakery with a card; they're a bit behind the times here. It's hard to find good staff, but at least they would encourage tips. I'll leave the conclusion to the reader.

Good goose food, poor accessibility

We've been going to this restaurant for a few years now and we're happy with it. The service is good, the food is delicious. The portions are sometimes a little larger, sometimes a little smaller... 😉 Sitting outside there in the summer is super nice; we really enjoy it, so we keep coming back.

Waited forever for the food. The food was okay. The drinks weren't really chilled. A colleague got frozen croquettes. He finished with a simple espresso, even though he ordered a double. Somehow everyone was overwhelmed, even though it was a Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.

First-class service, beautiful surroundings, and very spacious seating under shady trees. The food was excellent. Conclusion: an all-around successful trip.

Super delicious food in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. A beer garden is chilled out in the shade of the trees. There's even a goat enclosure behind the last barn for small children.

Four of us came here for dinner yesterday; we come here often. As always, we were more than satisfied. We were able to enjoy the starter in the lovely beer garden, but then unfortunately we had to go inside due to the weather, but even there, you can sit comfortably. I had the roast beef with onions; I've never eaten such tender and delicious meat. Everyone tried it and loved it. My husband had something with red cabbage, which was delicious and freshly prepared; the other dishes were also very tasty. For dessert, there was a large portion of strawberries with cream. The staff is very friendly and often takes the time to say a few personal words. People enjoy working here, and they have a great, close-knit team, which you can feel and see. Don't let the few bad reviews deter you from coming here for dinner; it's definitely worth it.

I can't understand some of the reviews. The food was and always is extremely delicious. Today, the red cabbage deserves special mention; anyone who says it's from a jar has no idea how to cook! And strangely, everyone who ate mushrooms had only fresh mushrooms, not anything from a jar or can. Don't let a few reviews put you off; you're in excellent hands at Landhaus Preuß. This inn is a case for Frank Rosin! The sign in front of the entrance reads that "everything" is prepared fresh, by hand, a la minute, and with love... And good things take time. My tagliatelle were overcooked and stuck together, the cream sauce was a ready-made sauce, the mushrooms came from a jar, commercial grade 2, the chicken was brown on the outside, dry and stringy on the inside, which speaks of inferior quality. My wife's beef roulade was dry, still pink on the inside, but equally dry, the mashed potatoes were also a ready-made mash, with perhaps two potatoes mashed into them to give it a fresh look. The red cabbage came from a jar and wasn't well seasoned, and the brown gravy was a Mondamin product, if that. All the dishes were extremely oversalted, the table wasn't pre-set despite a reservation, the setting was careless, and the menus were sticky, outdated, and yellowed. Nothing, absolutely nothing, was freshly prepared and prepared to the minute. I have 12 years of experience in the restaurant industry, and this was brazen, extremely bad, and simply lies and adulteration. To then charge 17.90 for the tagliatelle and 21.90 for the roulade is a rip-off. I have never eaten so badly in my life, nor have I ever been served such inferior products. Honestly... your shop should be closed and thoroughly inspected first. My first trip to the bathroom, with single-ply toilet paper and rough green paper towels, shows how little you value your guests.

Never again! Almost looks like a rip-off. I had number 47, the Argentine rump steak with fresh garlic and garlic mayonnaise, 5 slices of baguette and a small salad for €28.90. The steak was specifically ordered “medium rare” to max. “medium”. In the menu there was no indication of the weight of the steak. A steak arrived “well done”, i.e. completely done. Of course I let the plate go back. The second time the steak was at least medium rare, which was okay. The size of the steak was very shocking. I guess it weighs less than 130 - 150 grams. No mention of this in the menu!. The taste of the steak was just mediocre, there was no salt or pepper. Salt and pepper shakers were not available. The salad was standard, the mayonnaise was okay. There can be no question of fresh garlic as it tasted musty. For the price, the entire dish was far too small and a total failure. In terms of taste, there are significantly better restaurants in the area, which also offer far better value in terms of price and, above all, more taste in the food. It was also noticeable that a lot of frozen food was used at the table of 4 people.

We have had dinner at Landhaus Preuß several times and have always had a wonderful and delicious evening. The location itself is beautiful, especially when the weather is nice. The staff is friendly and attentive. We are currently in the process of planning our wedding in the event barn and are very grateful for the effort that goes into organizing it. We went there with the family for lunch on Boxing Day. Overall the stay was really disappointing. It started with the greeting. A “Merry Christmas” from me was followed by the listless question “Have you made a reservation?” No “good day” or “Merry Christmas” in return. When we were brought to the table there weren't enough cards. The cards only included food but no drinks. Nevertheless, the drink order was taken. Great - of course it was a run of the mill order. Then we had to wait almost 20 minutes for the drinks. Overall, the food was okay - but nothing more. However, my daughter's Wiener Schnitzel was a disaster. It was so dry that you couldn't eat it. But the waitress wasn't interested either, as the question "did it taste good" was more of a rhetorical kind. In two hours you actually managed to ask for additional drinks ONCE. We all had to go to the counter to pay because the reader only worked there!? When it came to the food and drinks we had to pay for, products that we hadn't consumed appeared. Other products we actually had were no longer available!? One last sentence about serving: that you always serve from the right - for free. I find it inappropriate that as a waiter you lie almost across half the table and assume that the guests will accept and distribute the plates themselves.

We chose Landhaus Preuss for goose dinner at Christmas time. Nice atmosphere, quick service, everything friendly. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was average, rather bland and not really hot. We celebrated our wedding in this amazing barn and it was a truly perfect day. The food was really great and we were able to put it together really well beforehand. The arrangements on the day itself were great. You could get your own drinks at the bar, so there wasn't always a waitress standing next to you and it lightened the mood, especially on the dance floor. The next day, the small but very tasty breakfast buffet rounded off our wedding celebration! On our 1st wedding anniversary we had such delicious food there to celebrate the day that we decided to do it every year.

Unfortunately a big disappointment In August we celebrated my sister's wedding at this location - unfortunately we can only say that it was a disappointment. The service was poor and inattentive, agreements were simply not kept. For example, Hugo was originally included in the package at the champagne reception, which was discussed and confirmed. In fact, only sparkling wine was served. Only after the bride pointed out to the staff that the Hugo was missing did this have to be clarified by the staff because that The service staff was obviously not informed about what was included in the drinks package ordered at this wedding. Afterwards the Hugo was served. Similar with the evening buffet: It was completely cleared away, including bread and cheese, although it was agreed that the leftovers would remain and be taken away. The drinks supply was also inadequate. There wasn't even water on all the tables, let alone other drinks. Guests had to get most of their drinks from the bar themselves - something that is completely inappropriate at a wedding. We had agreed a drinks allowance until midnight, but it seemed like the staff's aim was to work as sparingly and slowly as possible. From midnight onwards, glasses that were still full were simply cleared away so that new orders had to be made and payment made again. The delivery of the wedding cake was also chaotic despite detailed arrangements. Despite previous meetings with the boss and a detailed discussion, something went wrong. The fact that the bride and groom had to have their boss come twice at their own wedding to clarify discrepancies speaks for itself. Overall, an unpleasant impression and just a shame. We don't recommend this location - we definitely expected more.

Disappointing experience at our family celebration We celebrated my younger sister's wedding at this restaurant and unfortunately the experience was beyond disappointing. Despite detailed agreements in advance, the agreed process was simply not followed. The service was inattentive, orders were either delivered incorrectly or not at all, and drinks took forever to be refilled. Overall, we were very disappointed and would definitely not recommend this restaurant for festive occasions. A wedding should be an unforgettable day - unfortunately it was for the wrong reasons.

After a long hike, we were looking forward to a long meal on the terrace. A place was quickly found as there were still a few tables available, and we also identified ourselves as new guests. We celebrated a dear friend's 60th birthday extensively and exuberantly in the event barn with a really large group. There was a large buffet, with a variety of cold and warm as well as vegetarian starters and main courses and a wide selection of desserts. There wasn't a single dish that wasn't tasty. Everything super fresh and delicious!!! Definitely recommended and worth every praise.

We reserved a table at Landhaus Preuß to have lunch there with 5 people on Mother's Day 2024. The beer garden and restaurant were very well attended and the staff was completely overwhelmed. So we waited 90 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, there was no communication at all from the staff regarding the upcoming waiting time. It was suggested to us that you should expect longer waiting times on such a day. The waitress did not express this in an unfriendly or annoyed manner, but rather in a helpless, resigned manner. The question remains why the innkeeper doesn't expect a large number of guests and prepares himself accordingly, for example by bridging the waiting time with bread with dip or lard or something similar. From the customer's perspective, a free coffee after the meal would also be a positive signal. Unfortunately, none of that! Since this was the second experience of this kind at the Landhaus Preuß, we will not be returning there again. The quality of the food served was average.

The country house offers a down-to-earth country house kitchen with a varied cuisine, great event locations and an outdoor area that gives you a feeling of Bavaria. We have been visiting the friendly Preuß family and team regularly for years and definitely recommend a visit!

I went to Landhaus Preuß for Easter brunch today. The view from there is beautiful! Unfortunately that was the only positive thing. The waiters paid little or no attention to us. It was a buffet, but I still think that they could have come to us every now and then and asked if everything was OK or if we wanted something more to drink. But no, not at all! The toilets also smelled extremely bad. Now to the buffet. Breakfast was OK! You still had to hurry up to get anything because there was simply not enough for all the guests! Even with the main course there was really little that could have been taken because everything was gone immediately! It just wasn't good for everyone there. In addition, the main course didn't taste anything at all. It was completely tasteless. And the highlight was dessert, so there was so little choice and you had to really hurry to get anything. Everything seemed like it wasn't freshly prepared but just carelessly straight out of the bag. For the money you left there, it's just terrible!

Super unfreundlich. Kinder unlieb. Überfordertes Servicepersonal vor allem ‚Sabrina‘. Man hat das Gefühl dass sie super genervt und sich von Gästen gestört fühlt. Die Waffel war ganz lecker aber 4,20€ für einen Standard Latte macchiato… die Damentoilette hat sehr unappetitlich gerochen :(

Leckeres Essen. Die Portionen sind gut. Preis- / Leistung ist okay. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service.

Ein großer Parkplatz bietet vielen Gästen Platz.

Wir sind dort eingekehrt und haben Kaffee getrunken und seeeehr leckeren Käsekuchen gegessen. Schöne Atmosphäre im bergischen Stil. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben hier Kaffee und Kuchen gegessen, das war gut. Ganz interessant fand ich auf der Herrentoilette die Wandgestaltung. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht, trotzdem ging die Bestellung sehr schnell. Wir gehen hier noch mal hin.

Wenn die Preise nicht waeren! 2 Miniatur-Spinatknödel mit einem Hauch von Pilzragout für 17 € waren eine echte Überraschung. Geschmeckt haben Sie allerdings. Natürlich wurde die Mehrwertsteuer von 19 % als Argument benutzt. Auch ohne die 19 % würden Preis und Leistung überhaupt nicht stimmen.

Man muss wissen wann die stoßzeiten sind,daurtt dann lange sonst sehr zu empfehlen

Das Restaurant läuft nun unter Landhaus "Preuss" aber da hierunter nur das Hotel zu finden ist, schreibe ich die Bewertung für den heutigen Restaurantbesuch mal hier hinein. Nur kurz: das ist Gastronomie zum Abgewöhnen. Nach etwa 45 Minuten Wartezeit für drei Spargelgerichte kam das Gemüse lauwarm, die Kartoffeln kalt und der gebratene Lachs glühend heiß. Das Ganze war dann zusammen natürlich nicht essbar; der zweite Versuch war temperaturseitig OK aber in keinster Weise schmackhaft. Dass der Lachs zu Tode gegart wurde, versteht sich eigentlich von selbst. Lediglich die lauschige Location war OK, aber was nützt das, wenn sich das Essen auf dem Niveau von Krankenhausverpflegung befindet. Das war der enttäuschendste Restaurantbesuch der letzten 20 Jahre und das will bei meiner Frequenz schon was heißen.

Haben uns sehr auf das gemeinsame Familienfest gefreut. Wurden wieder einmal unfreundlich empfangen. Personal überfordert und frech. Die Toilette ist seit zwei Jahren defekt. Auf das Essen wartet man ewig. Sehr schade!

Ungenügendes Essen! Unverschämte Servicekraft Sabrina! Das argentinische Rumpsteak war eine Frechheit in Öl gebraten/ frittiert ohne Gewürze. Nachdem die Bedingung Sabrina fragt wie es war und wir sagten, dass das Steak nicht wirklich essbar ist und ungewürzt, antworte sie: DER KOCH HAT HEUTE EINEN SCHLECHTEN TAG! Und ging! Die Rechnung kam, kein Kommentar ihrerseits über das Steak! Wir bezahlten und gingen. Ich werde Dienstag diese Frechheit telefonisch bei der Geschäftsführung kommunizieren. Um den einen Stern zu rechtfertigen, das Hirschgulasch war sehr gut!

Milchkaffee, Käsekuchen und Waffeln mit heißen Kirschen und Vanilleeis. Hat alles gut geschmeckt und Service war nett und zuvorkommend.

Guten Tag, wir haben hier mit einer größeren Gruppe gesessen (im Außenbereich) und etwas gegessen. Allerdings war es so, dass 1. die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich gewesen ist 2. das Essen bereits kalt gereicht wurde 3. Teile unseres Essens zu spät gereicht wurde, sodass Teile der Gruppe bereits fertig waren und andere ihr Essen noch nicht bekommen hatten. Somit kann ich dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen (siehe Bewertung).

Landhaus Siebe ist nahe des Ruhgebiets wunderschön gelegen in der Elfringhauser Schweiz. Fahrzeit z. B von Essen weniger als 1/2 Stunde. Der Besuch lohnt immer. Das Restaurant bietet eine umfgangreiche Speisekarte (auch alles als Seniorenteller). Alls was wir gegessen habe ist superlecker. Normale Preise; freundliche Bedienung; helle Räume. Kein Ruhetag

Die Einrichtung ist rustikal aber gepflegt. Das Essen frisch zubereitet und lecker. Im Verhältnis zum Preis sind die Portionen sehr groß, Landgasthaus eben. Der Service war schnell, freundlich und kompetent. Der einzige Grund für einen Punkt Abzug war nicht der Kellner, sondern die Mitarbeiterin/Chefin?! die erst nach Aufforderung ihr sehr lautstarkes Telefonat mit einem Onlinevertrieb in einen Nebenraum verlegte. Vorher hatte sich der gesamte Gastraum mehrfach irritiert umgedreht.
