Pita Stübchen in Hattingen

We were at the Schöne Sterne restaurant in Hattingen and wanted a quiet meal in the old town. The food was delicious and the location was great. The service was really attentive, but unfortunately not all guests feel the same way when they have to wait about 30 minutes for their food. It's absolutely fresh, and serving 50 people with just three people is difficult. As a thank you, we drank an ouzo with the owner.

Service was nice and friendly. Prices were okay. The food was okay, but not outstanding. The ambiance was excellent, though. We sat outside. Payment was cash only.

A Greek restaurant with a somewhat odd selection of dishes. Quite tasty, but unusual. Gyros was served on the mixed appetizer plate. Fries in a pita, okay. The staff was nice. Our rating: 2-

Ganz normaler Grieche, nichts besonderes, außer den Preis. Beim Essen war noch sehr viel Luft nach oben, lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. Preis / Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht. Nicht wirklich zu empfehlen

We really expected more from this restaurant and were unfortunately disappointed. We ordered a gyro plate and a gyro pita. Both had hardly any meat on them and weren't very seasoned. The taste was okay. The bottle of water only arrived towards the end of the meal, which can happen, but shouldn't. For a gyro plate, a pita, and a bottle of water, we were charged an outrageous €29.70. I find that outrageous. I definitely wouldn't go there again, sorry!

The grilled meat had nothing to do with Greek cuisine; the meat was bland and the portion was very small. Grilled meat with pita bread. We thought the bread was a side dish, but no, it was underneath the meat, which makes a meat portion look bigger. The tzatziki was also missing. Card payment wasn't possible, and we didn't receive a receipt either. We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

One minor drawback is that card payments are not accepted. However, we are happy to overlook this, as everything else is excellent.

Tasty food and nice shady terrace in summer time. Good for the lunch and dinner. In the center of old city. Highly recommend this place during visit.

The food wasn't good: it was lukewarm, in our opinion not freshly grilled and the ouzo (we paid for it ourselves) wasn't even filled to the mark ;-( That's really bad! Our opinion: In any normal "Greek chip shop" you can eat fresher and cheaper food. The best thing about the restaurant is the beautiful location in Hattingen's old town, but unfortunately that's about it... Our conclusion: Not again!!

Beautifully located restaurant in the middle of Hattingen. We ate there with our children, gyros/grilled plates/souvlaki etc. were very tasty, and the side fries were also crispy and fresh. In addition, the service was very friendly but not too intrusive, very pleasant. Thank you very much & kind regards from Düsseldorf.

Is idyllically located in Hattingen's old town. So we probably expected more. Unfortunately, it is not authentic Greek cuisine. The Bifteki look like frozen burger patties and have little to do with Bifteki in terms of taste. The starter plate was also rather a letdown. A pity. But well, tastes are different 😊

Gute griechische Küche, mit vielen Pita Gerichten. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön gelegen. Preise sind in Ordnung und die Bedienung war nett.

Essen war okay. Preise im Vergleich zur Pizzeria nebenan, die fast die gleiche Lage hat, zu teuer.

Die Qualität hat in den letzten Jahren stark nachgelassen. Früher wäre jeden Tag dahin gegengen. Jetzt lieber nicht

Lecker. Schöner Ort mit kleinem Garten... um eine Pause im schönen Maastricht zu machen.

Es war nur Außengastronomie erlaubt. Ambiente auf dem Kirchplatz war sehr schön. Tische nett dekoriert. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Speisen sehr lecker 😋 und gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Komme gerne wieder.

Obwohl öfter mal in Hattingen, heute zum ersten Mal dort gewesen und wir kommen wieder 😊 leckeres Essen, gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis, sehe nette Bedienung und man sitzt schön auf dem Kirchplatz.

Super lecker, freundliches Personal, schönes Plätzchen absolut zu empfehlen. Essen war sehr schnell fertig.

Alles mega! Wir haben eine Metaxapfanne und eine gefüllte Paprika gehabt. Beides sehr sehr gut. Und ich hatte schöne viele Metaxapfännchen von anderen Griechen. Die Bedienung war nicht nur super nett und aufmerksam, sondern auch noch sehr attraktiv! :) Alles in allem haben wir und hier sehr gut gefühlt. Ein schönes Mittagessen im Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es war wie ein kleiner Urlaub in Hattingen. Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und das Personal sehr nett. Die Altstadt von Hattingen ist ein Besuch wert. Ein Traum. Und das dieses kleine Restaurant. Schon der Name hat uns neugierig gemacht. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht im Gegenteil die Pita war sehr gut wir kommen gerne wieder.

Am Freitag das erste mal dort essen geholt. Betreiber sehr nett. Pita offen + Gyros Teller waren super lecker und frisch. Fleisch und zaziki waren wirklich lecker

Hier haben wir trotz kühler Temperaturen gemütlich auf dem Kirchplatz gesessen und gegessen. Das Essen war gut. Die Bedienung schnell und aufmerksam.

Gutes Essen, freundliches Personal und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre im Biergarten. Wenn man nicht draußen sitzen möchte oder das Essen mitnehmen mag, kann man nebenan die Speisen in der"Mexx Bar" essen.

Können zum Essen nichts sagen. Jedoch entpuppte sich unsere Kaffeepause hier zur Großen Enttäuschung. 2 Tassen Kaffe für 6,40€. Der Kaffee schmeckte und roch als hätte man Spülwasser zweimal durch eine Senseo Maschine mit 1 Pad gejagt. Kurz: Wirklich wiederlicher Kaffee definitiv überteuert! Da verloren wir jegliche Lust aufs Essen.

Gutes Essen für einen guten Preis. Freundliche Bedienung.
