We were there for lunch today, super nice service staff. Food was very tasty, you always feel very welcome again

The two of us went there for dinner. The table was beautifully set with lovely decorations. We had the carpaccio for starters, which was exceptionally good. For the main course, we had the saddle of venison, which we highly recommend. The potato gratin that accompanied it was particularly delicious. To finish, we had the flambéed crepe (also highly recommended). The service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy. All in all, a very well-rounded evening.

We had dinner at Iljan's again today. And we found out that today was the last day. Unfortunately it is closing, we will miss him and his employees and of course also his delicious food. We wish him and his family all the best for the rest of his life. Kind regards from Papenburg

Great restaurant, great food, great service, very great ambience. The ambience alone makes it worth a visit.

I was pleasantly surprised from the start of my visit. The service was extremely attentive and courteous - as soon as I entered the restaurant I was offered to have my clothes removed, which made the visit immediately inviting. The seating was extremely comfortable, which contributed to a relaxing evening, and the ambiance of the restaurant was simple yet elegant, with a nice mix of modern touches and cozy atmosphere. The view into the open kitchen was particularly pleasant, making cooking and preparing the dishes a real experience. The menu offers a small but fine selection of dishes that change regularly. Here you can immediately notice that they work with great attention to detail and high-quality ingredients. The dishes were not only delicious, but also beautifully prepared and served - a real feast for the eyes. A small point of criticism is the wine cooler, which was not at the table, so you couldn't decide for yourself when you wanted to refill it. Personally, I found this a bit disturbing, as it meant you weren't able to determine the pace of enjoyment yourself. Another disadvantage is that smoking is allowed outside the front door. Unfortunately, the area is not covered, so in bad weather it could be unpleasant if you have to “refuel” between courses. All in all, it was a very successful evening with high product quality and an overall very pleasant experience. I would definitely like to come back.

Service was very friendly, but it wasn't until we had our food on the table that we noticed that other guests had gotten a day ticket and we hadn't. “Regulars”? Many guests who came after us also received their food much earlier than we did. It doesn't matter if our food would have been tasty, but it wasn't. All three dishes didn't taste good! A "meat dish" with about 4 pieces of meat and the vegetables almost only onions. The burgers: portion tiny, hardly seasoned, and the fries were crispy but far too few. The prices for the dishes are not reasonable!

We ate at Beefana today at 6 p.m. without a table reservation 👍We've known the restaurant for a long time under the old management, but unfortunately it was a failure today. Ignoring the untrained service, the home-made fries were very greasy and the burger meat contained a lot of gristle and was dry.😞We knew that much better from before.... After that, our drinks were unfairly charged twice. When we complained, we got the overpaid money back. That can happen sometimes, but then no word of apology. Overall, this visit was absolutely disappointing. We won't be coming back again.

The restaurant is now called Gjuci and is a Greek restaurant, which I highly recommend.
