La Muro in Hannover

Coming from FFM and stopped by La Muro yesterday. Waited in line for about 30 minutes, but it was worth it! I had the “La Muro Bag” baked with cheese! Very tasty, huge portion for 7 euros! Meat was tender and nice and crispy 👍🏻 we'll be back ☺️

A good kebab but actually not the best, just overhyped. I didn't taste the cream cheese at all, no iceberg, sauces were very weak but the kebab is filled really well. The ambience of the restaurant is classic, rather old-fashioned but everything seemed clean. Staff was very friendly but also very hectic and chaotic, served by 4 employees, which made ordering difficult.

Nice atmosphere, nice staff, good food.

We were in Hannover for the fair. Most people we asked for a good döner recommended this place. You don't need to look elsewhere. The best doner kebab you can eat here and the friendly people.

Previously I would have given 5 stars, but now only 4 because the quality has unfortunately deteriorated. And when I recently asked the owner that my kebab meat wasn't grilled enough, he said I should come a little earlier and not at busy times. You can't tell a customer that and there are almost always long waiting times at La Muro. Otherwise a good shop, definitely worth eating there.

Be sure to order kebab with cream cheese! 🤩👍 The line is quite long on weekends, but it's worth it! The location outside - Limmer Straße. 😁 You either love them or you don’t. Any time!

La Muro wins the fight for the kebab throne against Lister Döner. Bread on par, meat both very good, filling including price-performance advantage laMuro… Staff have been very stressed lately in the list and sometimes phonetics are impossible.

The best kebab I've ever eaten. In addition to salad, meat and many sauces, there are also grilled vegetables, cheese and much more, which comes standard with a La Muro kebab at no extra cost. The portions are large, I eat half of my dürüm/roll every time and have the rest packed up. The fries sizes are quite large. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. The ambience is nice, it has an Anatolian touch and the staff are always nice. I have only had very good experiences here. At peak times you may have to queue longer, but we're happy to accept that. A very big thank you to the owners and employees.

Well, this is one of the two best kebabs I have ever had. What I like about this place is that they offer a kebab Döner Tasche gourmet version, something other places normally don't have. They offer many variants, not only of sauces, but also of vegetables and other things you can add. The roasted vegetables are like those in an Italian pizzeria: eggplants, zucchini, peppers, etc. It's a bit expensive, but really everything has become expensive. I remember that you used to be able to eat a Döner Tasche for 3.50 euros (2018); now it costs minimum 6 euros, and here it is a bit more expensive. However, they are offering something more than the standard and it is very good. The presentation of the product is also very good; people queue here to buy. The ambience in this restaurant is deliberately oriental in style, is spacious enough and inviting. The staff is nice and greeted me with a friendly appearance. I chose the classic kebab with veal and lamb, grilled vegetables and cottage cheese. Lemon and pomegranate juice were added free of charge as a topping, which added an additional fresh-tasting aspect. Classic flatbread triangles with sesame are used (big plus). The meat has a good, spicy taste of its own and the toppings and sauces were fresh and aromatic without restricting the overall taste. This can and is the best kebab in Hanover in my opinion. Everything is right here and the price-performance ratio is extremely fair for both quality and quantity. Service was also quick and uncomplicated. There is a flawless recommendation here. It was really delicious and worth the further journey. It's really great what the shop does here. For the next time I was offered the La Muro Special, which is gratinated. When in Hanover, it's a must to go to La Muro... and especially to eat a La Muro bag! It is simply indescribably delicious, everything is fresh and extremely well prepared! Hello, very friendly service, I took a small kebab box. It was plentiful and you can completely choose the ingredients and sauces. I don't think 8€ is too much for that. You can eat it on site. However, I looked for a sunny spot outside.

La Muro has the reputation of being the best kebab in Hanover. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it doesn't do this justice. We ate there on Sunday around 5 p.m. The queue was a few meters long, but at peak times it can be significantly longer. It took us about 30 minutes until we had our food. The positive thing is that there are various skewers to choose from. Unfortunately the prices are high compared to other stores. Extras such as fried vegetables, sheep's cheese, pomegranate syrup and lemon juice are included. The taste of my Dürüm was good, but not outstanding. Unfortunately, the Dürüm is out of the bag and not made in-house. The sauces and extras were delicious, even though some parts were already cold. The staff is friendly, but unfortunately the ordering and service process is quite chaotic. The chairs and tables are not comfortable and wobble. I don't understand how this can be the case after months of renovation. I won't necessarily come back, the long wait and the high price are not worth it for me personally.

I got recommended to visit this place, so I came all the way from Sweden. It was amazing. It’s the best döner I’ve ever tried among all my visits to different places in Germany.

Completely overrated. The potato slices in the kebab were half raw and ice cold, all full of hot sauce that I didn't want. There would be no yogurt sauce for that (!?!). The bread was terribly tough, the meat like in every other kebab shop. Why isn't there a kebab anywhere like there was in the 90s?

I had a kebab plate, small, but I've never seen anything like it, such a portion that can easily feed 2 people. And there is a queue in front of the shop, sometimes you wait up to 45 minutes for your turn. I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The sauces, brewed Eggplant, kebab meat, simply great 😋 😋 😋 😋.

The tastiest Döner. The smallest chairs. And friendly people. If you don't wanna spend half an hour in a waiting line, consider visiting in a first half of the day.

Highly recommended restaurant. The meat, sauces and salad are always fresh. The selection of sauces and salads is very diverse, from fried eggplant to pomegranate syrup. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The ambience is pleasant, the store is newly renovated and beautifully decorated. Not for a romantic dinner but it doesn't give you a run-down “shack” feeling either. It is well maintained and clean. Toilet is available. I really enjoy eating here. It can be very crowded at closing time and peak times. The waiting time here can be up to 30 minutes. However, I've always had a place to sit, no matter how crowded it was.

I ripped the La Muro bag there with 2 other brothers. 1.Bread crispier than Funny Frisch Chips 2. Meat juicier than pineapple juice 3. Sauces çok güzel Conclusion: Doner tastes too sick, I would even pay 14 euros + tip for such a masterpiece of doner

Dieses Döner Restaurant habe ich schon vor langem kennen gelernt. Unübersehbar war immer eine lange Schlange vor dem Laden. Nach dem Umbau habe ich den Laden dann besucht und liebe ihn seit dem. Die Warteschlange ist noch immer da und die Vorfreude hat auch ihre eigenen Auswirkungen auf meinen Geschmack. Es gibt verschiedene Döner. Vegetarisch und Sucuk ist auch dabei. Am Anfang gab es für Sucuk sogar einen eigenen Spieß. Der Döner ist mein Favorit, entweder normal oder la Muro Spezial mit Käse überbacken. Es gibt eine sehr lange Theke mit diversen Saucen und Zutaten. Man kann sich Auberginen, Kartoffeln und so viel mehr auf seinen Döner machen lassen. Irgendwann ist der Döner so mächtig ausgefüllt das er nur mit der Gabel gegessen werden kann. Das Ambiente ist einfach gehalten, man kann jedoch im Sommer auch draußen sitzen. Im Restaurant gibt es natürlich auch kleine Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Personal ist mir gegenüber immer extrem freundlich. Die Frau, ich denke es ist die Ehefrau vom Chef, macht die Kasse und hat immer eine sehr positive Ausstrahlung. Der Chef selbst ist eine Frohnatur. Um die Döner fertig zu machen sind in der Regel 1-2 Mitarbeiter zuständig, ich habe aber auch schon 3 dabei gesehen. Das wichtigste, der Geschmack, der Sucuk Döner ist ein Gedicht, das Sucuk ist heiß, aber nicht hart. Das Brot war bei mir immer heiß und nur leicht knusprig, was ich sehr positiv finde. Salat und Gemüse ist lecker. Die Gesamtkonzeption ist ein Gedicht. Das kräftig, würzige Sucuk gibt seinen Geschmack wie der Bass in der Musik an und das Gemüse, Salat, Sauce, etc ist die Melodie welche im Mund erklingt. Danke das es diesen Laden gibt. Informationen zu meinen Rezessionen. Alle Informationen die ich hier niederschreibe sind Momentaufnahmen und völlig subjektiv. Wenn ich ein zweites Mal einen Ort besuche, kann meine Beurteilung ganz anders sein. Wenn ich etwas verbesserungs würdig finde und dieses sogar umgesetzt wurde, werde ich natürlich auch meine Rezession ändern. Bitte immer höflich bleiben.

Einer der besten Döner in Hannover, mit einer großen Salatauswahl, und verschiedenen Spießen für 6€. Unter anderem findet man hier auch einen Gemüsespieß. Alles was wir hier probiert haben schmeckt super. Da steht man auch gerne Mal in einer längeren Schlange für an. Das einzige was wir hier nicht so gut finden sind die Sitzmöglichkeiten, die gerade für größere Leute eher nicht so geeignet sind. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert!

War eigentlich ein Stammgast und habe immer gerne meine Döner dort gerne gekauft. Das muss ich glauben ich nach der heutigen Aktion überdenken! Ich wollte 10 min vor Ladenschluss das Geschäft betreten, allerdings war die Tür verloschlossen. Es war noch Fleisch auf dem Spieß, die Theke war noch gefüllt und Gäste haben im Gastraum gegessen. Dachte zu erst ich wäre zu doof die Tür auf zu machen, dann habe ich bemerkt wie die Verkäufer im Geschäft auffällig unaufällig weg schauten und heimlich grinsten. Was ist das für ein Kundenservice??? Ich habe Verständnis, dass sie einfach nur Feierabend machen wollten. Aber kann man dann ich einfach zu dem Kunden sagen „ heute nicht mehr. Ab morgen sind wir wieder geöffnet“ muss es so-etwas kindisches sein? Werde in Zukunft mal ein paar neue Döner ausprobieren, da ich mich nicht so veralbern lassen will. Schade

Sehr leckere Dönergerichte und recht umfangreiche Salatauswahl. Preise sind fair, da die Portionen großzügig bemessen sind. Komme sehr gerne nochmal wieder.

Für mich immer noch der beste Döner, den ich je gegessen hab! Frische, tolle Zutaten wie Granatapfel Kerne, gegrillte Aubergine, Kartoffeln. Preislich absolut angemessen, eher sogar günstig für die Qualität. Super nettes Personal :-) hatten eine Halloumi- und eine vegetarische Tasche (mit veggie Fleisch). Beides einfach nur köstlich.

Das ist nicht irgendein Dönerladen, das ist Dönerlicious, alles andere ist Müll. Das Fleisch, die Salate, die Saucen, alles eine Klasse für sich, ich gehe zu keinem anderen Laden mehr.

Sehr sehr guter Döner! Gute toppings und auch die Falloumi Rolle ist sehr zu empfehlen. Anstehen lohnt sich. Im Winter nur sehr kalt und zugig.
