It was a lovely New Year's Eve evening with a very appealing four-course menu.

Over the past two weeks, I've tried several pasta dishes with truffles in Switzerland, France, and Germany, and I must say these are exceptional and simply the best. The pumpkin and ginger soup was also excellent. The service is impeccable, I would even say very friendly. They also offer korasan pasta, which is suitable for gluten-free diets. An excellent place that I will keep on my list and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful company dinner at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Nine of our ten reserved guests were present. Despite this, we were charged a €30 no-show fee for one person, even though the table was practically full. This is completely inconsiderate treatment of a larger group. It ruined the entire evening. Additionally, water bottles were already on the tables, which we naturally helped ourselves to. These were also charged for at the end. There was no prior notification, and some of us assumed they were complimentary. None of us know whether the bottles were charged in full or only partially if they weren't empty. The portions were rather small. With groups of this size, it's customary in many restaurants to show at least a small token of appreciation (e.g., a complimentary after-dinner drink). This was completely lacking. Ultimately, it's not the food that will be remembered, but rather the petty and unwelcoming billing policy. We all left with a bad feeling and will not be returning.

Good Italian-inspired cuisine paired with friendly and attentive service from the owners. We had a great meal, a pleasant evening, and felt very comfortable. If we ever visit Hanover again, we'll definitely come back.

We visited the restaurant with our children, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't very family-friendly. There were no child-friendly dishes on the menu – no smaller portions or simple, kid-friendly options. The staff also weren't very patient or attentive to the children, which made the visit somewhat unpleasant.

We were a group of six. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The food was high quality and absolutely delicious! In addition to classic Italian dishes, there were also a few special, seasonal dishes on the daily menu. We will definitely be back.

A lovely little restaurant with a very approachable and chatty owner. The food and drinks were delicious, and the outdoor heaters made it very pleasant to sit outside. Unfortunately, a very inappropriate comment about my baby bump was made, which significantly dampened the experience. Servers/owners should be aware of this and not make unpleasant comments about a guest's physical condition in a restaurant where they serve food. Regardless of whether they're pregnant or not. Unfortunately, it was very disrespectful and out of place. Afterward, a relaxed meal was unfortunately very limited.

Another wonderful evening at Roy's. The food was excellent, the service was just what you'd expect. And despite the cool temperatures, we were able to spend the evening in the pleasantly warm and wind-protected outdoor area.

Everything came quickly, the food was hot, the drinks cold, and the service friendly. A side tip: If you're delayed, just blame Deutsche Bahn. 😜 We had a really great evening.

I can definitely recommend the restaurant

We visited Roy's on July 24th and had a truly wonderful evening. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were able to sit outside on the terrace – a truly pleasant atmosphere, very relaxed. For starters, we shared the carpaccio with fresh truffles – incredibly delicious! Then we had roast beef, medium rare – perfectly cooked and super tender. To finish, we had a tartufo limoncello, which was also really good and not too sweet – just right. After dinner, we enjoyed a few drinks and simply let the evening wind down. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and simply personable the entire time – we felt completely at home. In summary: Delicious food, great atmosphere, excellent service – we'll definitely be back!

We visited Roy's again today and weren't disappointed. It's finally time to write a review. The restaurant has a super cozy atmosphere; you receive a warm welcome and immediately feel at home. Due to its size, you should make a reservation in advance. For starters today, we had the house-style veal liver – tender, aromatic, and truly special. After that, we had the spaghetti marinara with seafood – perfectly seasoned – and the tagliolini al tartufo, which was simply a dream: creamy, intense, and with a truly delicious truffle flavor. The wine recommendations were also perfect. The service can only be described as outstanding! Simply attentive and friendly. It starts with a reminder (via email) to make a reservation. The bottom line is, anyone who loves Italian food should definitely try Roy's. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

Never experienced anything like this before! I have to start with the owner/staff. It was incredibly refreshing to finally meet someone again in the service desert of Germany who not only understands his job to the highest degree, but also does it with passion. It was wonderful to communicate with the host. We were accompanied through the evening with offensive humor in an incomparably charming way. Chapeau. That was great. The price of the food is in the upscale sector, but here too we finally had the feeling that we were getting something for the money. It was very fine and had a great taste. Super tasty. We love being guests at Roy’s. The ambience is elegant, and the service from the owners themselves is both professional and extremely charming. In addition to the fine wines, the food is also the finest! Pure culinary delight! At first glance it's a pretty inconspicuous restaurant, but at second glance it turns out to be an absolute tip with excellent cuisine and very friendly hosts. A fairly small menu (which I think is good) shows that quality and fresh ingredients are important here. The prices are more in the upper segment but all in all justified. We'll be back :)

One of my favorite restaurants! The food was delicious and the service was very friendly, relaxed and competent. I've already been there 3 times and had a great evening with my fiancé, a friend and also with the family. Today I had the delicious truffle pasta & a panna cotta, everything was excellent & the recommended red wine went perfectly with the food. At the end there was a delicious pear schnapps on the house. We got a table for two people quite spontaneously on Saturday evening, but this was probably due to today's Germany game, so I would definitely recommend a reservation, which can be easily made via the website. The welcome was very warm but professional and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with the choice of food and drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed, but not casual. The music was also very pleasant. I'm sure everyone would feel comfortable here and definitely not out of place. Although it was only my first time there, I know from my companions that you can't go wrong eating here. The dishes will send you to paradise in terms of taste and they also look very appealing! Everything was incredibly fresh and you could tell that the creations were made with love for food and gastronomy. In addition, the owner told us that he likes to be inspired and experiment in order to not only offer a reliable selection for “Peaky Eaters”, but also to broaden the guests’ horizons in terms of taste. There were also small gifts (small pieces of cake with the coffee and a delicious pear schnapps with honey from Lake Constance) on the house. Price-performance ratio is really good here and you don't just get delicious food. It really makes for a lovely evening here! What is also particularly important to me is cleanliness. I have nothing to complain about here either. No matter how discerning you are, this restaurant will not only meet your standards, but exceed them and set the bar so high that you will have no choice but to become regulars.
