The owner is very friendly and funny. The food is delicious and plentiful. The menu changes a little every week, ensuring plenty of variety. The location is like a cross between a beer garden and a sports club, but very clean and well-maintained. You feel comfortable and welcome, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable by today's standards. We'd love to come back and are even having a big birthday party at this location this year, and given the quality, we're confident it will be a complete success.🙏🍀🎉

And once again, we were at Mario's with Dad and his friends, this time for a special Mother's Day menu. After Easter and two birthdays, we were once again treated to a culinary and loving treat! From the outstanding cream of asparagus soup to the respective main courses (asparagus with salmon, pork fillet medallions, or stuffed turkey breast) with accompanying side dishes to the homemade crème brûlée, everything was simply delicious! If you haven't been there yet, we highly recommend a visit to Mario's! A culinary insider tip that you wouldn't expect to find in a garden colony. 😃

Eating at Mario's is always something special. Exotic dishes and “roulades like mom’s” – that’s not a contradiction here. Excellent cuisine in a relaxed, rustic atmosphere, as it should be in a garden club home. Mario, his wife and the waitress always take time to chat. Each plate is arranged with so much art that the enjoyment begins even before the meal. My father-in-law and his friends have been coming here for a long time and they have long since "infected" us with this special place. We are already looking forward to our next visit :) keep it up and thank you very much!

the Easter fire 2024 was a huge party, great. Lunch - very good 👍🏽 Delicious currywurst fries, real schnitzel and!!! Thai curry!!!!

Mario is a warm host who cooks great dishes. His Sri Lanka buffet was unbeatable. Highly recommended! There is always something on the weekly menu. We really enjoy eating here. The clubhouse is also highly recommended for family celebrations.

We went to Mario's Sri Lanka buffet last night. It was a very nice and successful evening. The buffet was very plentiful with cold starters and warm main courses - unfortunately I didn't manage to try everything. However, everything I tried tasted really delicious. As always, Mario was a very good host and his crew in service and at the counter made the evening perfect.

It is close to the canal and has a great sun terrace with a garden. A great place for a refreshment and a cold drink. Mario cooks everything himself with fresh ingredients and it tastes simply good.

I ate pea soup. It was a large portion and very tasty. I go there more often now.

Manageable menu, which is good because it allows the owner to cook everything fresh. And you can taste it! Excellent value for money. You are greeted warmly as soon as you come in, and great importance is attached to cleanliness. The furnishings are cozy, and in summer there is a terrace for spending time outside.

“At Mario’s” is a real highlight in Hanover! The food is fresh, delicious and prepared with a lot of love. I was particularly impressed by the friendly service and the cozy atmosphere - you immediately feel at home here. Absolutely recommended and I would love to come back!

Nice outdoor area and very friendly service

I don't understand the opinions here at all. There is schnitzel with garden salad and croquettes on the menu. There was a leaf of lettuce on the plate. Apparently the croquettes were out, but soggy gratin. The neighbor got croquettes again?? And sambal sauce?? Dear Mario, first train to be a chef! And don't try to force leftovers from the previous celebration on guests' faces. It was the last time for us. And what we got was luck! A party with 11 people had just ended and that was the first we heard that he had company. No people...

Very tasty lunch at a fair price. It's now called Mario's and has reopened after two years as the new operator. It's very nice to sit on the terrace 😃. Gladly again 😊.

Great service and quiet, beautiful location!! I celebrated my birthday there and planned the event with the owner. We were immediately welcomed with open arms, he responded to our wishes and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
