Wir haben das nette Restaurant durch Zufall gefunden und waren total begeistert. Das Essen war top, die Bedienung war fix und auch das Preis / Leistungsverhältniss kann sich sehen lassen.

Ein wirklich tolles italienisches Restaurant mit einer angenehmen Atmosphäre und sehr freundlichem Service. Das Essen war frisch, hochwertig und geschmacklich hervorragend. Ein großes Kompliment auch an den Koch – die Qualität und die Liebe zum Detail merkt man bei jedem Gericht. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. 5 Sterne!

Ein besonderes Lob geht an den Koch, der mit viel Können und Leidenschaft für eine hervorragende Qualität sorgt. Das gesamte Team schafft eine angenehme Atmosphäre, in der man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne!

Selten, wirklich selten so einen Service und dann noch unbeschreiblich leckeres Essen gegessen! Ich weiß nicht ob ich überhaupt schon einmal besser gegessen habe

Ich war gestern (6.05) das erste mal nach 5 Jahren wieder da. Ich habe von vielen gehört, dass sowohl das Essen als auch der Service stark nachgelassen haben.. Jedoch wurden wir vom Gegenteil überzeugt! Das Essen war sehr lecker, auch an den anderen Tischen sah das Essen perfekt aus. Für einen Mittwoch war das Lokal sehr gut besucht. Wir haben gegen 18.15 bestellt und keine 15 Minuten später war das Essen auch schon da. Die Pizzen waren sehr groß! Auch das einpacken der Reste am Ende ging super schnell und reibungslos. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen.

Große Auswahl an Gerichten von Pizza, Pasta bis Grillteller. Sorry, aber der Beilagensalat geht gar nicht. Etwas Eisbergsalat, eine halbe Scheibe Tomate und eine Scheibe Gurke mit ein paar Spritzern Dressing. Vielleicht war es nur an diesem Abend so schlecht? Die Kartoffelchips waren sehr gut.

Sehr gemütlich und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir lieben den gemischten Vorspeisenteller (Antipasti mista).

Ich war am Dienstag da und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Das Essen war einfach köstlich. Die Pizza war wunderbar knusprig, und die Bandnudeln mit Hähnchen und Thunfisch waren ein Traum. Der Service war wirklich außergewöhnlich. So herzlich und gastfreundlich, wie ich es lange nicht erlebt habe. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Ausgefallenes Menü, sehr leckere Gerichte, Pizza sehr lecker auch vom Teig her. Freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung. Unsere Lieblingsitaliener vor Ort.

Uns wurden ca. 30 € zu viel berechnet. Das ist kein kleiner Fehler und darf nicht passieren. Wir haben es leider erst später bemerkt. Bei der Abrechnung sollte man hier sehr genau hinschauen. Wir werden sicherlich nie wieder kommen.

War sonst immer gerne dort mit meiner Familie essen, nur leider hat das Essen in den letzten 2 Jahren ordentlich nachgelassen so wie der Service leider auch, es werden Getränke aufgenommen und die Speisen, nur wird leider schon nicht gefragt ob das man zufrieden ist mit dem was man bekommen hat. Trüffel fehlte auf der Trüffelpasta, obwohl es auf der Karte steht, bei der anderen Pasta fehlten dann die Peperoni! Wenn ich schon koche dann auch mit Leidenschaft.

Ich war mit einer Freundin am 02.01.26 gegen 18:00 Uhr im Taverna Essen. Sie hatte mir nur Gutes davon erzählt weil die des Öfteren mit ihren Eltern dort Isst, genau DIES hat den Abend leider völlig gefehlt. Bei den Zwo Servicekräften fehlte irgendwie gefühlt die Lust am Arbeiten, das hat sich so den Abend über herauskristallisiert. Wir haben die Karten bekommen und unser Essen und die Getränke bestellt. Meine Freundin sagte zu mir das der Chef anwesend ist und das das Essen nur gut werden kann, ja was soll ich sagen…. Dem war leider nicht so, bei ihrem Gericht hat der geriebene Trüffel gefehlt und bei meinem die Peperoni, zudem mein Essen gefühlt und geschmacklich Null gewürzt war. Nachdem wir mit dem essen fertig waren, wurden Sie ganz Salopp und total Lustlos gefragt ob der Rest eingepackt werden solle. Die Frage war eher als Bestätigung gedacht, weil wir keine Zwo Minuten vorher darüber geredet hatten. Toll das man hier Privatsphäre hat. Dann wurde das Essen abgeräumt, abgepackt und uns dann wieder hingestellt. Was aber noch schön war das wir von den Servicekräften gefragt wurden ob uns das Essen geschmeckt hat – Nicht… Ich bin des Öfteren Essen aber sowas ist mir noch nicht untergekommen. Da hat jede Bahnhofskneipe und jeder Imbiss einen besseren, aufmerksameren und höflicheren Service. Sorry aber so leid es mir tut, das war ein Griff ins Klo und ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht wieder aufsuchen. Ach ja und da es mitten in der Woche war, war dort auch nicht sonderlich viel los. Also kann es an der schieren Anzahl der Gäste nicht gelegen haben…

Ich würde das Restaurant nicht empfehlen . Die Pizza war nicht durchgebacken und ungewürzt . Auf der Rechnung wurde ein Wein Zuviel berechnet . Kann passieren, aber eine kleine Entschuldigung wäre schon nett. Salat zum Essen wurde viel zu spät (auf Nachfrage ) gebracht . Leider sehr viele negative Punkte

Alles Einfach Perfekt aber minus Punkte für unseren Platz... wir hatten den ersten platz für 4 Personen gleich am eingang das ist Absolut MÜLL es zieht und jeder der rein kommt höngt mit seinen Klamotten Popo oder Ginital auf unseren Tisch :(

Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker, Nudeln und Pizza schmecken gut, Steaks waren nicht von guter Qualität und Zubereitung ließ zu Wünschen übrig, definitiv als Steakhaus nicht zu empfehlen.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant evening. Three menus couldn't be ordered because they weren't in stock. Large drinks couldn't be ordered because there were no glasses. They simply provided small ones, which were ultimately more expensive. We were then asked to pay for them. Orange juice was also out. Half an hour passed before we could even place our orders. The menus were sticky and covered in food residue.

The food was very good, but the server was moderately friendly. The menu was simply slammed down on our table and we were done. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, and you have to climb a long flight of stairs to reach the restrooms.

The place is funky style from old modern ambiente. The food was good. We did have to wait for a while for our drinks and food to be Oder. Shorts of staff. Otherwise nice to place to go to if you are in Jever Altstadt.

We were absolutely thrilled! We try many different restaurants in a variety of locations, but this one is by far the best!

We usually enjoy coming here...today, everything was actually bad. We sat outside, didn't get a menu...after half an hour, we went inside to get the menu ourselves...then a waitress finally came...we ordered drinks and food at the same time. Again, no service for ages...we were just about to leave...then the two pizzas arrived...we didn't have any drinks yet...and no cutlery either. After asking, drinks and cutlery arrived. The pizza was completely oversalted. We pointed out that the pizza was oversalted...Yes, I'll pass it on, said the incompetent waitress. Of course, she was counting...at the end, she apologized and wanted to bring us a nightcap and an espresso...which she then forgot to bring. TERRIBLE SERVICE

Everything is typically Italian. Simply cozy. It's always fun to be there.

This restaurant was recommended to me, and they didn't overpromise me. The food was excellent. Everything was served very quickly. The service was very courteous and always there. I was truly very satisfied with everything.

We found the restaurant quite by chance via Google, as many restaurants in Jever were already fully booked. But the taverna, with its amiable chef Pablo and the very attentive and dedicated waitress (actually the manager) Jolina, was a lucky find for us. We bridged the short wait with a delicious home-brewed beer. For starters, the three of us shared a gigantic appetizer plate. The main courses were also very tasty. We finished off the meal with a delicious digestif. Overall, a very pleasant evening in Jever.

As Jever residents, we wouldn't visit again. What a shame. The white wine was too warm, and there were no ice cubes (they had just been made and weren't frozen yet, even though it was 6:45 p.m.). The food itself was good, but everything else was so-so. The toilets were disgusting; there was no toilet paper in the dispenser, just carelessly scraped off on the flush, and there was nothing to dry your hands with. Spiders, dead animals, and cobwebs everywhere. The cards are sticky and simply disgusting, which is why I wanted to wash my hands. Based on the reviews, I thought it would be good there. Sadly, I was mistaken.

Four of us went for dinner and were more than impressed. Both the drinks and the food arrived promptly. The food was delicious, and you could taste the fresh ingredients. Highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back.

The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was right.

The ambiance is quite pleasant, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The food (spaghetti al forno, although it wasn't spaghetti) was okay, nothing exceptional or special. The service was a shame; it could be improved: pour drinks as you bring them, be more attentive (ask if everything is okay), bring the menus more quickly when you're assigned a table, etc. The seat cushions were also pretty stained all over... In the end, it was okay, but not worth a repeat visit for me.

We were unfortunately disappointed. Five of us ate there. The tables were completely sticky, and there were crumbs left on them from the previous diners. First, an appetizer was forgotten, then someone had a hair in their food, a colleague got a nearly raw steak that was still cold inside, and someone ordered pasta without pepperoni – unfortunately, the food was brought to the table with pepperoni. Otherwise, the salad came with that orange dressing you get with salad at every pizza place. The bruschetta had nothing to do with bruschetta. It was just a few cold sliced ​​tomatoes with onions on a piece of cold, soggy flatbread from the day before yesterday – at least, that's what it tasted like... It's a shame when you plan an evening with friends and then end up so disappointed. We won't be back!

Tables totally dirty and sticky. Waited almost an hour for the food. The order was delivered incorrectly twice. Unfortunately nothing was eaten, the other food was cold. Cobwebs could also be removed!

Super delicious food. The meat dishes and pizza were well prepared. The dessert, we had tiramisu and lava cake could be of higher quality. Likewise the salad, which is really better for an Italian! Service was very friendly and quick. To improve the ambience, you could pay more attention to cleanliness (beer mats in the olive, tables not cleaned properly). Overall a pleasant stay!

There were 6 of us and we had ordered a specific table four weeks in advance. But it didn't work. Place a food order for six people. Five people got their food and the sixth person was forgotten. Didn't work. As I remember, she had to eat alone when everyone was finished. Operation didn't work front or back. The bill wasn't correct either. The owner is not doing himself any favors with these people. We will avoid this restaurant because the feel-good atmosphere was completely missing. At the end we were offered a grappa, but it suited the evening, it didn't come!!

Rustically furnished with niches. The food was okay, the pasta dishes were manageable in size. Unfortunately, the evening was marred by the fact that we paid separately with a delay and then a main course was billed twice. The complaint two days later was supposed to be discussed with the boss - no result. Another query went the same way. The promised callback also failed to materialize. Therefore, my advice: check the invoice immediately and take the entertainment receipt with you so that such “misunderstandings” do not occur.

Ambience is quite nice. I can't recommend pizza at all. Finished dough with over-seasoned ready-made sauce. It was limp and greasy and could have stayed in the oven longer. The menu should have been crazy enough. No good Italian calls pasta in ham and cream sauce “carbonara”

I already had some of that ate and suddenly had it in my mouth...unimaginable if I had swallowed it...I mentioned it to the waitress and she said..."oh, that's stupid" now that would be off the pizza and I'm sure there wouldn't be any more left and I could keep eating... no joke!!! I asked her to take the pizza with her and I didn't feel like eating any more! Not another word on this situation! My family ate everything, we paid...even the pizza! Annoyed and took a rake after it...Taverna was done for us. Today, after about 6 months, my husband and I decided... despite everything, we would like to go to the Taverna again. Well, what can I say...if you're not a regular guest you'll be served...I would like to say...incidentally! It was some time before we got our drinks, a beer and a cappuccino...okay... Ordered the food... salad (13.50 €) we sorted out iceberg lettuce (partly brown) 4 goat cheese with walnuts and honey ( very tasty) exactly 5 rocket and 4 mini tomatoes quartered with dressing and pizza bread...the price-performance ratio is amazing! After asking if everything was ok, we said that it wasn't great, but that didn't matter. Pasta twice was delicious, there was hardly any parmesan on my Aglio e Olio and I ordered more, unfortunately it was charged €2. We asked for the bill as soon as we were clearing up, and we waited quite a long time for that. We politely declined the Marsala on the house. It's a shame, that was probably the last time in Taverna for us. We wish Pablo and team all the best for the future.

A very old restaurant, very cozy, the service is very good, you walk in and immediately feel at home and I haven't eaten so well in a long time... Kudos to the kitchen. I can only warmly recommend the Loksl. However, it is advisable to make a reservation as there is a lot going on. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photos, I forgot my phone in the car but I'll definitely do it next time. It's great and I'll definitely be back soon.

Yesterday we wanted to celebrate our birthdays with the family over a meal together. I have been to this restaurant several times in the past and have been satisfied so far. However, yesterday's visit was a complete disappointment. The tables were sticky and the pages of the menu were stuck together. We waited 75 minutes for our food even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked and there were several tables available. The music was too loud so you couldn't have a comfortable conversation. My starter plate was ok so far, there was just so much oil on it that it ran down the wooden board. That really says it all. The two pizzas, tuna and Adriano, tasted like nothing. Maybe it could have been seasoned with salt and pepper if it had been on the table. The Fiocci that my son ordered tasted good enough, but there was so little that it could just pass for a children's plate. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't really have a positive attitude and wanted to pass it on, but nothing happened after that. It's a shame if you don't get full. A table was not cleared or cleaned for almost half an hour after a family was there. So we made sure we paid. In the past we have always ordered something to drink, a cappuchino or dessert. But after yesterday evening, we won't be visiting the restaurant again in a hurry or will not be recommending it to others. Very unfortunate.

The two of us ate there yesterday. We hadn't reserved a table in advance, but since we were early they still had a table for us. Drinks were brought quickly and in between we asked about wishes and whether everything was OK. We had breaded sheep's cheese first and two pasta dishes as a main course. Everything tasted great and we were very satisfied.

The food was a total disaster. I was served pasta with no taste or sauce. We ordered 3 pizzas and two casseroles and everything wasn't to our liking.

And tonight no salmon, beef fillet or mushrooms in stock so many menu items cannot be ordered. It's a real shame that things turned out so negatively. It's a shame we were looking forward to Taverna 😔

I was very disappointed with the food and service last night. .We wanted to enjoy a nice evening and everyone was dissatisfied. The meat was not seasoned, pizza dough was hard and no taste. I was offered a second pizza that was just swimming in oil. We were offered drinks as an apology. I thought that was nice. But we all still had something to drink. After that we were no longer asked if we wanted something to drink or dessert. We are used to something different from the taverna. For me, going out to eat means having a pleasant evening with delicious food and a nice atmosphere.

We were there with almost 15 adults and twenty children at the end of the evening! Of course we pre-ordered (with food) so that everyone gets the food at the same time! It worked great and was so delicious!!!!!!!

Nice atmosphere. Were there with 6 people. Some of it was good, some of it was bad. A pizza light and fluffy, just as it should be. The second hard and almost impossible to eat. The wheat beer was partly warm. Unfortunately, when the things were pointed out, all that was said was "unfortunately we can't do anything about it"! Very, very cozy atmosphere in Italo Tarverna style even with an Italian radio. Excellent service and advice! There really isn't anything negative to say about the pasta. The prices are absolutely fair. I'm already looking forward to eating here again.
