Taverna Jever in Jever

Pizza total verbrannt, auch die Nachbestellung. 2 Mal zurück gehen lassen, am Ende frustriert gegangen. Nie wieder Taverna Jever. Bier musste ich trotzdem bezahlen. Lapidare Entschuldigung vom Koch, dass es am Ofen liegt. Nicht akzeptabel für einen Gast, der jedes Jahr etwas 4-5 Mal in der Taverna mit Arbeitskollegen zu Abend isst.

Unfortunately, I now also feel the need to speak out here. We were regulars at the Taverna for a long time, then we were really disappointed twice in a row, service inattentive and not in a good mood, always forgetting to bring something and then a pointy, sharp piece of plastic on my pizza... I already had some of that ate and suddenly had it in my mouth...unimaginable if I had swallowed it...I mentioned it to the waitress and she said..."oh, that's stupid" now that would be off the pizza and I'm sure there wouldn't be any more left and I could keep eating... no joke!!! I asked her to take the pizza with her and I didn't feel like eating any more! Not another word on this situation! My family ate everything, we paid...even the pizza! Annoyed and took a rake after it...Taverna was done for us. Today, after about 6 months, my husband and I decided... despite everything, we would like to go to the Taverna again. Well, what can I say...if you're not a regular guest you'll be served...I would like to say...incidentally! It was some time before we got our drinks, a beer and a cappuccino...okay... Ordered the food... salad (13.50 €) we sorted out iceberg lettuce (partly brown) 4 goat cheese with walnuts and honey ( very tasty) exactly 5 rocket and 4 mini tomatoes quartered with dressing and pizza bread...the price-performance ratio is amazing! After asking if everything was ok, we said that it wasn't great, but that didn't matter. Pasta twice was delicious, there was hardly any parmesan on my Aglio e Olio and I ordered more, unfortunately it was charged €2. We asked for the bill as soon as we were clearing up, and we waited quite a long time for that. We politely declined the Marsala on the house. It's a shame, that was probably the last time in Taverna for us. We wish Pablo and team all the best for the future.

A very old restaurant, very cozy, the service is very good, you walk in and immediately feel at home and I haven't eaten so well in a long time... Kudos to the kitchen. I can only warmly recommend the Loksl. However, it is advisable to make a reservation as there is a lot going on. Unfortunately I couldn't take any photos, I forgot my phone in the car but I'll definitely do it next time. It's great and I'll definitely be back soon.

Yesterday we wanted to celebrate our birthdays with the family over a meal together. I have been to this restaurant several times in the past and have been satisfied so far. However, yesterday's visit was a complete disappointment. The tables were sticky and the pages of the menu were stuck together. We waited 75 minutes for our food even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked and there were several tables available. The music was too loud so you couldn't have a comfortable conversation. My starter plate was ok so far, there was just so much oil on it that it ran down the wooden board. That really says it all. The two pizzas, tuna and Adriano, tasted like nothing. Maybe it could have been seasoned with salt and pepper if it had been on the table. The Fiocci that my son ordered tasted good enough, but there was so little that it could just pass for a children's plate. I mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't really have a positive attitude and wanted to pass it on, but nothing happened after that. It's a shame if you don't get full. A table was not cleared or cleaned for almost half an hour after a family was there. So we made sure we paid. In the past we have always ordered something to drink, a cappuchino or dessert. But after yesterday evening, we won't be visiting the restaurant again in a hurry or will not be recommending it to others. Very unfortunate.

The two of us ate there yesterday. We hadn't reserved a table in advance, but since we were early they still had a table for us. Drinks were brought quickly and in between we asked about wishes and whether everything was OK. We had breaded sheep's cheese first and two pasta dishes as a main course. Everything tasted great and we were very satisfied.

The food was a total disaster. I was served pasta with no taste or sauce. We ordered 3 pizzas and two casseroles and everything wasn't to our liking.

Addendum: The last three visits were a disaster. Service no longer available. Only 2 people still working. Pure stress for them. The food was okay there. The last two times were catastrophic, no music equals no atmosphere. Food took a very long time. The food was oversalted and the meat wasn't cooked well at all. And tonight no salmon, beef fillet or mushrooms in stock so many menu items cannot be ordered. It's a real shame that things turned out so negatively. It's a shame we were looking forward to Taverna 😔

Unfortunately, my enthusiasm is limited. My Italian clearly won't. The service was attentive and nice. Unfortunately, the ambience, especially the music and the Italian cuisine didn't convince me...

I was very disappointed with the food and service last night. .We wanted to enjoy a nice evening and everyone was dissatisfied. The meat was not seasoned, pizza dough was hard and no taste. I was offered a second pizza that was just swimming in oil. We were offered drinks as an apology. I thought that was nice. But we all still had something to drink. After that we were no longer asked if we wanted something to drink or dessert. We are used to something different from the taverna. For me, going out to eat means having a pleasant evening with delicious food and a nice atmosphere.

We were there with almost 15 adults and twenty children at the end of the evening! Of course we pre-ordered (with food) so that everyone gets the food at the same time! It worked great and was so delicious!!!!!!!

Unfortunately the meat was very dry and tough. The sauce was positive. Very delicious. Unfortunately, the Hefeweizen wasn't really cold either. Still, the store was packed. Not our case and taste. We won't be coming back

Nice atmosphere. Were there with 6 people. Some of it was good, some of it was bad. A pizza light and fluffy, just as it should be. The second hard and almost impossible to eat. The wheat beer was partly warm. Unfortunately, when the things were pointed out, all that was said was "unfortunately we can't do anything about it"! Personally, I was there for the first time and was disappointed.

Very, very cozy atmosphere in Italo Tarverna style even with an Italian radio. Excellent service and advice! There really isn't anything negative to say about the pasta. The prices are absolutely fair. I'm already looking forward to eating here again.

Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour for our starter. The food was only brought after we asked, but unfortunately the service offered no words of apology. No other drinks were offered, let alone that we were noticed. The grappa on the house was offered but never brought. It's a shame that the place has declined so much. We will avoid it in the future.

We got a table even without a reservation (during the week). The service was super fast and everything came exactly as ordered. The waiters had time for a little chat and were very friendly. The restaurant is very rustically furnished, but exudes Italian charm. At the end we were offered an alcoholic drink on the house. The food was typically Italian, very rich and very tasty. We had pasta, pizza and a meat dish. Everything met expectations and was eaten.

The food was really delicious, but the service was a big disaster. Right at the beginning we ran into the arms of a completely overwhelmed lady, our table still had to be set, but that wasn't a problem for us. When we sat at the table, we had to wait 20 minutes and only received the card when we asked. We were only able to order the same game when we ordered it, only after asking twice. Guests seem to be more of a nuisance. At the end, of course, card payment wasn't possible either, the device broke during the evening... The espresso, which was served in the Mc Cafe cup at the end, was the crowning glory.

Unfortunately it cannot be compared with the past. Unfortunately, price performance doesn't match. The pizza and pasta were quite good. Unfortunately, they screwed up the grill plate - the beef was fried completely dead and the pork was very dry. The poultry was again very good and the homemade fries were also great.

Rarely had such a bad pizza, we tasted baked ready-made dough. The Pinot also left a lot to be desired. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a very nice restaurant with good service. We won't be coming back even though we live in the neighborhood.

The Taverna is a very cozy restaurant with extremely well prepared food such as steaks, pizza and pasta etc. at reasonable prices. What should be highlighted is the attentive, friendly and courteous service staff. The food here tastes delicious and the stay is fun. My wife and I always enjoy coming there.

When my wife and I have the time to go out to eat, we go to Pablo's. We always feel comfortable here. The ambience is really beautiful and the food is simply amazing. You simply have to eat here, otherwise you'll have missed something. For me the best restaurant in our area!!!! Pablo and his team simply know how to treat their guests and how to give them a wonderful evening!

It's delicious with pizza. The antipasti plate is delicious. We personally wouldn't order steak again & the salad is absolutely not our thing.

Long established restaurant with a family atmosphere. The food is very good and the menu has something for every taste. Price/performance is without complaint. P.S the black tortellini with salmon in lobster sauce is highly recommended. 😉

Cozy restaurant, attentive staff. That's good, the food is so-so, it doesn't have much to do with an Italian restaurant. When I asked if there was Vitello Tonnato as a starter, I got an answer, heh, what is that?, a short explanation on my part. 🙈 I decided to. It was supposed to be bruschetta, this was served on pizza dough and not, as it should be on toasted white bread, on the 4 pieces there was more lettuce than diced tomatoes. The pizza, well it was warm, the tomato sauce on the pizza had no taste at all, a few onion rings and a little tuna, the pizza was soft and well done, something like that is definitely better. Pizza rolls came in a basket, 4 pieces, unfortunately I couldn't finish them, the basket was cleared away with my plate, catastrophe. I can't recommend the restaurant, won't be coming back.

War ok,nicht schlecht aber ich habe schon besser italienische Küche gehabt

Leider kann ich mich den vielen positiven Rezensionen nicht ganz anschließen. Meine Partnerin und ich wollten abends essen gehen und hatten vorsichtshalber reserviert. So standen wir dann zur vereinbarten Zeit im Eingang und warteten auf jemanden, der uns einen Platz zuweist. Nach einiger Zeit des im Weg stehens wurde ein junges Pärchen gebeten aufzustehen und nach draußen zu gehen. Wir durften uns dann auf diesen Plätzen niederlassen, direkt am Eingang. Der erste Eindruck, ein Messer des noch dort liegenden Bestecks fehlte und das Platzdeckchen war schmutzig. Die Getränke kamen recht zügig. Ich bestellte einen Salatteller "Insalata Scampis", meine Partnerin "Tagliatelle al Forno" Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit (es herrschte eine ziemliche Hektik und Unruhe im Lokal) bekam ich dann einen Kuchenteller großen Salat mit Ziegenkäse. Ich sprach daraufhin das Personal an und der Chef kam mit der Speisekarte um mir mitzuteilen, dass es doch die 17 in der Karte ist. Ja richtig, ich wollte aber die 16. Vorweg hatten wir uns übrigens Bruschetta bestellt, welche sehr gut waren. Zurück zum Hauptgericht; mein Salat war 0815 mit einem Dressing, was man auch fertig kaufen könnte (Cocktailsoße), die beigefügten Scampis kenne ich vom benachbarten Discounter unter dem Namen "Partygarnelen". Die Tagliatelle meiner Partnerin waren ohne . Das wir nicht die Einzigen waren, die mit dem Essen nicht ganz zufrieden waren, bekamen wir an unserem Platz ebenfalls mit. Leider musste ich die von meiner Partnerin von vor ein paar Jahren gemachten negativen Erfahrungen bezüglich des Essens und des Service bestätigen.

Eine TOP Pizzeria mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern..und der Chef ist sich für einen netten Smalltalk auch nicht zu schade. Frische und gut zubereitete Speisen Gute Auswahl in der Speisekarte. Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Alles in allem top, der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ohne Reservierung an einem gut besuchten Abend wurde uns trotzdem ein Tisch angeboten, uns hat es so gut geschmeckt das wir am folgenden Abend direkt wieder hin sind. Taverna hat unseren Urlaub auch kulinarisch bereichert.

Guter gemischter Vorspeisen Teller und super aufmerksamer Service. Das Rind zu den Trüffelnudeln war allerdings viel zu durch gebraten, daher etwas Abzug.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker... Ratsam ist es rechtzeitig zu reservieren.

Wir sind dort an einem Sonntag zum Abendessen eingekehrt. Dass man selbst sonntagsabends eine Reservierung benötigt hat, sagt auch etwas über die Beliebtheit des Restaurants aus. Das Restaurant liegt in einem Altbau und strahlt daher eine eher urige Gemütlichkeit aus. Nach der Bestellung sind wir leider zunächst vergessen worden. Das kann aber bei der hohen Auslastung durchaus passieren, und man hat sich auch direkt um Wiedergutmachung bemüht, von daher soll das nicht gegen das Restaurant sprechen. Nach diesem kleinen Ausrutscher wurde das Essen auch schnell geliefert und war sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend. Das hat uns auch schnell versöhnlich gestimmt. Insgesamt ein schönes Restaurant, was sich gut für Abendessen (auch in Kleingruppen) eignet. Eine größere Gesellschaft kann man dort aber vermutlich nicht beherbergen, da die räumliche Aufteilung dies nicht hergibt.

Leckeres Essen und engagierter Service, der hilfreich ist und Lösungen bastelt.

Das Lokal hat ein junges engagiertes Team. Die Speisen sind hervorragend, als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta welches frisch und ansprechend angerichtet war. Als Hauptspeise durften wir die tolle Pizza genießen, selten solch einen leckeren Boden gegessen. Die Steinpilz Tortellini waren sehr gut abgeschmeckt und die Soße würde mit dem Brot, welches man zum Essen bekam, fast ganz von Teller genommen. Alles in allem ein gelungenes Essen. Kommen gerne wieder. Allerdings sollte man unbedingt vorher reservieren.

Seit meiner Kindheit komme ich hierhin zum Pizza essen, wenn wir Urlaub an der Nordsee machen. Das Ambiente ist immer noch wie vor Jahrzehnten und weckt jedes Mal Kindheitserinnerungen in mir. Die Pizzen sind unglaublich lecker, die Angestellten freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen beim nächsten Urlaub gerne wieder!

Wir hatten Glück noch einen Tisch ohne Reservierung zu bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Pizzen waren fantastisch und auch der Salat war gut. Wir werden mit Sicherheit noch einmal wieder kommen.

Sehr nettes personal sehr leckeres essen Reagieren sofort falls ein fehler passiert wie bei mir der fall war ... kann nichts schlechtes sagen ... Sogar lamm war viel drauf für 20 euro 50 hat sich der lamm teller gelohnt ... selten soviel drauf gehabt an lamm Echt nur zu empfehlen
