The renovated and nicely furnished shop and outdoor area are beautiful and are super centrally located. We had two fish sandwiches. The rolls are good, unfortunately there was a kind of curry sauce on the fish rolls instead of the “green remoulade”, which was a bit of a shame.
Service was super nice, as was the ambience.
Room clean. There is a lack of equipment. No wardrobe, no storage space in the bathroom.
There is a lack of sockets.
WiFi works.
Definitely recommended for one night.
Check in and check out very easy.
Tip to the owners: A kettle and a multiple plug were definitely missing.
I've ordered many times but have been very disappointed the last two times. Today the negative peak. 3 lamb steaks that were floating in oil and were 80% fat. The fries were bland and flabby. Baked gyros also extremely oily and not gratinated. They have lost us as customers.
Was there the first and last time, the meat was burnt and the sauce was very thick. Service: oh well. Salad was too much or too little and too expensive. Never again!!!
Well, what can I say.
Our dog's food is definitely tastier and definitely looks better!!
Currywurst and fries were below all..... .
The sauce was like jelly and the fries had more fat than potato content.
I don't know what the rest of the things are like.
So I would be ashamed if I had to sell this to someone.
I celebrated my 60th birthday in December (a while ago). The food was great, the service was great, a great team, an unforgettable party. I just read that the "canteen" will be over in May. It's a shame, so much work went into the renovation... it's a little insider tip, the beautiful beer garden in the summer, and as I said, you can party well there. We're keeping our fingers crossed for a new beginning and will definitely come to the Waldapotheke. But we'll also come to the "canteen" again, which is a MUST.
After I asked the chef about the undercooked cordon bleu, I was told that it was the ham.! The second time I auditioned, it was explained to me that the ham had stained. In addition, my concerns about undercooked pork were completely downplayed. The two bites are very hard on my stomach. Since the chef is apparently also the boss, any complaint is useless. €11.95 for a not so nice experience at Meyerhoff. We will never take a lunch break or eat anything here again. It is not recommended, thank you.
The food tastes good.
It's just a shame they don't offer half portions. So you then have to throw away food.
Sure you could warm it up the next day, but I don't like that.
Maybe think about offering small portions
After visiting the treetop walk, we wanted to eat something in the restaurant. Although we were previously told the restaurant would be open for another hour, upon entering we were told it was already closed.
So we can't judge the food. However, the staff in the souvenir shop were very friendly and the coffee tasted excellent. It would be nice if the opening times could be communicated more precisely in the future.
I was here with a few friends at the “Rock Night” event. Good location for this event (hall). The counter staff was very competent. I would definitely come back.
