Hatten für den 2.3.24 einen Tisch bestellt, daran wurden wir 1 Tag vorher per Mail erinnert. Abends dann die große Überraschung, das Restaurant geschlossen, die Fenster mit Folie verklèbt. Absoluter Hohn: Am nächsten Tag kam dann eine Mail mit der Frage, ob uns der Besuch gefallen hat!

The food was MEGA. All schnitzels or my Duroc are super tender and delicious. The service and the chef were super friendly. Thank you for the lovely dining experience🙂we'll be happy to come back when we're back on the island.

The food was delicious. Even though it's a fairly small place, you still feel very welcome. I can highly recommend the chili cheese sweet potato fries; they were absolutely fantastic.

The food and service were excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant isn't right on the water, but it's otherwise a great restaurant. Good portion at fair prices with great quality. Dog friendly.

First of all, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is quite good. But the dinner in the form of a 4-course menu is not of acceptable quality, although the price is not high. They are more like “building block” dishes, consisting of individual ready-made components, all of which are of poor quality. The presentation is still okay, but the taste is bland and typical of convenience products, uniform, without variety. - the sauce level on the plates was already dry, which shows that the plate was prepared far too early and was left in the refrigerator for ages - the rocket salad for the starter was then placed dry on the plate, also far too long before serving, it should have at least been marinated and not just superficially covered with sauce, - the ham for the starter consisted of three wafer-thin slices (which is actually good), but the slices were stuck together to form a thick one and seemed careless and brought to the plate in a lump - Garnish (apple slices) were brown and not fresh either - the game broth tasted best/strong, but lacked the typical game taste and could have been made from beef - the sauce from the main course only tasted like a typical ready-made product - the corn semolina slices (similar to polenta) were simply dried out and tasteless - the braised leg slice was soft enough but slightly burnt - the Swiss roll for dessert was also dried out (like the sauce), because it was cut and prepared too early, and didn't taste good either, The sorbet was one of the best of the other desserts, so you can't go wrong Overall, it seems as if an attempt was made to prepare the cheapest ready-made products reasonably well on the plate, and not by a trained chef, but by assistant staff who have to fill gaps in the kitchen. Hence the early pre-ordering of the menu (already upon arrival or at breakfast) in order to be able to prepare everything well in advance and then at least be able to serve the guest with the food quickly. What is particularly unpleasant is that the photos of food shown in the hotel and on the website have nothing to do with the reality on site. As a guest you feel a little fooled. Even the very low price is of no use; we would rather pay more if the quality is good. Hence the recommendation to eat out for dinner.

Very tasty food that was freshly prepared. As always, the service was great and super friendly. Always happy to come back every Rügen holiday.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days. In the evening we tested various restaurants in town with great success. On the last evening we were at Coastal Silver. Great ambience like the whole house. The service put a lot of effort into it. But the food was an imposition. The salad was sandy, the venison was burnt, there was a hint of puree and the vegetables were tasteless. The only edible thing was the Primitivo. Sorry, but I expect something different from a 4-star hotel.

The Greek exceeded my expectations. The dishes were very well prepared and were very tasty. The guest room is freshly wallpapered and made very inviting by the new young operating couple in the short time of renovation. The service is excellent. Classic and modern Greek cuisine and hospitality are lived here. We wish you a good start to the new season and always satisfied guests. We'd love to come back.

Birgit Liebsch We were in Göhren over Easter. We received a very friendly welcome and service in the restaurant. Something that's not a given these days. The menu left nothing to be desired, and the food arrived without a long wait. Everything was beautifully presented and served. Many thanks again to the team, and we'll be happy to come back.

A little away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, we found the nice, small restaurant with a nice terrace and a great view of the water. Anyone who appreciates good home cooking without a lot of frills at unbeatable prices has come to the right place. Admittedly, the landlady's charm is a bit cold, but we were served friendly and quickly and the food was very tasty. We liked it, so we went back the next day. And on our next Rügen vacation, we will definitely pay the “Beacon” a visit again.
