The premises are clean. The food OK. Unfortunately, the cook had a very dirty tea towel tucked into the side of his cooking clothes.

The cake is a must!!! We came here hungry from a long walk. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but very pleasant, inviting and warm inside. The dishes we had were all delicious. I would like to highlight the fried potatoes, I have never seen such sweet little slices that had perfect browning and consistency. We also had cake for dessert, all three different cakes were perfect, you could taste that they were all homemade. Service was super nice and the toilets were super clean.

I have been coming to the Tennisstübchen on Rügen vacations for many years. It's somehow part of the program. It is very stable in terms of service, food and ambience. And in a positive sense. However, the ambience of a sports field is unusual. Actually, I don't expect nearly as much good things from a sports bar. That's why it's actually a real insider tip for me. The food is always delicious and not only fish fingers are available for children, but also plaice is something extraordinary. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I completely forgot to send the review. We went there twice on vacation. We are and were really very excited. We love fish 🐟 I had to take one star because the chef was very in love with it on both days. But I didn't want to complain again the second time. Every holiday meal comes with dessert and the cake was really delicious. And now to my favorite topic, service employees. I have rarely experienced such warm, very courteous service staff as in Göhren. This is definitely due to the coastal air. But with you it was like coming home. Thank you very much 🫶🏼

The portion was very small and in my opinion the service staff with such bad teeth doesn't belong in the service

Have been on holiday in Göhren 6 times so far and always stop at the Tennisstübchen! The small bar/restaurant really lacks nothing! Great atmosphere, super nice staff, great food. Small but big OHO!!! Sat outside in the fresh weather, it was full was, but we had a patio heater at the table - it was nice and cozy, plus schnitzel with fresh porcini mushrooms... unbeatable!!! Many thanks to the whole lovely team!!! Keep it up!!!

We really liked the tennis room and the food was very tasty. The boss Antje was personally there and looked after all the guests with a lot of wit and humor. We really had a lot of fun that evening. A reservation is recommended, otherwise it will be difficult to get a free table. The restaurant is in great demand. Unfortunately we sat right next to the door, which was a bit drafty in the fall with the heavy guest traffic. But everything else was great. We'll be back.

Our first visit was in 2018...after 6 years back in Göhren, first to the Tennisstübchen (yesterday) for coffee with cake, delicious...today for dinner, there was plaice fillet with fried potatoes (only recommended) because we didn't make a reservation, they offered We had a place outside in the beach chair, it was really cute, a heat mushroom came straight away...so REALLY highly recommended...price is right and super friendly...we'll be back

Hello, we were there in Göhren for a week and ate at the Tennis Stübchen 4 times and were very satisfied. Schnitzel extremely tasty and inexpensive, staff extremely friendly and in a good mood 👍. We had a wonderful visit to the small, charming tennis room. As soon as we entered we received a warm and friendly welcome. The staff is very attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. The food was simply delicious – every bite was a pleasure! What was particularly impressive was the short waiting time, which made the experience even more pleasant. All in all it was a perfect stay with nothing missing. Slightly hidden, but found because of a tip. Cozy, very friendly and relaxed. The food we wanted came after the drinks without a long wait. My wife's fish soup wasn't lacking in fish and tasted perfectly. I thought the homemade brawn I ordered was perfect, complemented by a delicious tartar sauce and equally tasty fried potatoes. We were no longer able to try the in-house cakes due to time constraints, but they looked very appetizing on display. Happy to visit again.

Food is great. Service was quick and very nice. Personally, the fish portions of cod and pike-perch seem smaller to me than in previous years. That would be the only downer.

The food was excellent, there was optimal time between the individual menu courses (starter, main course, dessert). The service was very considerate and friendly about your requests and asked exactly what you wanted. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and know what they are doing. The atmosphere is nice and tidy and cozy. As a starter we had the solyanka and it was fresh and very tasty. The orange gave the dish a total kick which was really awesome. Unfortunately there are compromises on the main course. Unfortunately, both schnitzels of the dishes we ordered were more than done. Edible yes but not the riper. My schnitzel special arrived at the table a little late, which wasn't that bad at first, but as I was eating I noticed that half of the fries on the plate were crispy and tasty and the others were raw and inedible. So I put them aside and reported this situation to the waitress when I was clearing the plates, and she took them into the kitchen, but that was it. This was probably known. After the nice end, we paid with a tip and then returned to our accommodation. Unfortunately, it was only then that we went through the billing again and discovered an unpleasant error. Had !!4 small Cokes!! and 2 wheat!!. However, 2 small Coke and 2 large Coke and 2 wheat were charged. So the 2 large Cokes were miscalculated. All in all, it's worth a visit but you should reserve a table in good time. It probably wasn't our day.

Highly recommended, food was delicious, menu offers something for every taste, courteous service. The boss made it possible for us (4 people) to get a table without a reservation when the restaurant was at full capacity. We would go back at any time :)

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience in this restaurant today on August 22nd, 2024. Our table order (beach chair) for 6.30 p.m. was simply not realized because there were already guests sitting. After consulting with the boss, we were asked to move to another seat. Now my question is, why do I order 2 days in advance??? Our request to move the two people was denied, with the message that it would take longer. In 2023 we ate very tasty food there - so we are very upset about this “feeding”!! Luckily there are always other alternatives!!! Bon appetit !!!

By far the best restaurant on Rügen. We have been going there for approx. For sure, we've been eating at Antje's for 20 years. The cod is a poem, the staff are super friendly, and all the other fish dishes are hard to beat in terms of price-performance ratio. Even our dogs get their treats! Here's to the next 20 years! Inviting and not far from Göhren's main beach. Family-run business for decades with its own parking lot. Sports enthusiasts will find their place there, as will Rügen lovers who value good German home cooking. Recommendation needed, gladly again!

This small but fine restaurant is somewhat hidden behind the tennis court, and its ambience and menu selection set it apart from the usual tourist traps. Very fine meatballs and children's menus, which stand out from the usual fish fingers with fries. We ate here at least once every time we visited Rügen! Come again.

We spontaneously went to the tennis room on Friday. Very nice service, very good food and flexibility for a small guest's special request (rice pudding as dessert), all at moderate prices. And there was Vita Cola, which is very rare in the catering industry. We were very satisfied, I spread the word about it and would like to come back.

When in Göhren there are always tennis rooms. Freshly prepared dishes, delicious fried potatoes and, at the end, one of the regional brandies recommended by the boss. We have been stuck in the Tennisstübchen since the first attempt and have eaten here four times in a row. We each tried four different dishes, all of which were great. Cod, plaice, schnitzel, brawn, Camembert, fish trio and two things. There was nothing to complain about. We even got food from a quarter to 8, even though many other restaurants in the area were slowly closing.

After I reached my limits with my “Rhenish style” with the original Rügeners, we felt very comfortable here. Antje's relaxed, uncomplicated, open and helpful nature impressed us from the first moment. In addition to good food (we were there twice), we got tips for excursions and a game of tennis. Highly Recommended. If we are drawn to Rügen again, we will definitely come by again :)
