Haben Spareribs und Fisch bestellt. Spareribs habe ich noch nie so schlecht gegessen und selbiges wurde über den Fisch gesagt. Die Spareribs waren völlig durchweicht, BBQ kaum zu erahnen. Fisch war in der friteuse gemacht, also alles gefühlt wie Fertiggerichte aus der Mikrowelle oder friteuse. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, da gibt es nichts zu meckern, aber essenstechnisch ( bin eigentlich nicht schneubisch) war es nicht wirklich annähernd lecker. Salate waren ebenfalls Fertiggerichte aus dem Supermarkt

I don't understand how many reviews here can be so positive. As if they had never eaten well before. The portions for the prices are a joke. What is being calculated? That it's right at the Racing Roland? The salad was older, the schnitzel was too dry and tasted like old fat. The fries are the same as frozen goods without any special features. The drinks were lukewarm. 14.5€ for a potato with old salad and quark (potato with quark was good). First of all, far too little and secondly, a total rip-off, because the price was simply calculated with smoked salmon. When the waitress was asked about the schnitzel, all she said was “ohh hmm yes, sorry”. OK thanks. Otherwise the service was super friendly. Oh and the tablespoon pile of cucumber salad was pretty good too. Nevertheless, everything is calculated zero based on price and performance. What's a shame, 2-3 years ago, we also ate there and only came back because it was good! But the quality has absolutely deteriorated...

Wanted to watch football there, definitely not the right location for that. Although football is broadcast live in the description, the radio is louder than the TV. Food average - village pub quality. Overall, it can probably be described as a tourist fallle.

Located directly at the Göhren train station, regional, freshly prepared, delicious fish dishes awaited us here at normal prices - but of course there were other dishes here too. The waiting times from placing the order to serving the food were also short. Absolutely recommended for Göhren holidaymakers.

My wife and I were at "Rasenden Roland" today for the second time in a week and it wasn't the last time!! Very friendly service, cozy atmosphere and really good food. The prices are also absolutely reasonable. We will definitely come back during our vacation. Big praise to the whole team!

Unfriendly staff, food is at canteen level

It was a restaurant visit that you would never want to have again. First nice and friendly and then as if ignored. I ordered drinks and they were brought out quite quickly, but when I asked if I could have another one, the service guy said I had to see if we still had something. It stayed that way and I didn't get anything new to drink and no alternative offer either. It wasn't until my husband ordered another drink for you that I ordered something else. There was no apology, nothing. I'm not an inhuman person and everyone can forget something sometimes, but not like this. Then we ordered food with a starter, where we already waited 1 1/2 hours for the starter and then we had to wait again almost 1 hour for the main course, where a complete meal was simply forgotten, where we then had to wait again for that came. When everything was there, we lost our hunger and asked that they please pack it for us, but we were given containers without words and had to pack it ourselves. Truly beyond words, I have never had such bad service. In any case, I will never eat there again. I'd rather spend my money where the service is better.

Der Hunger hat uns hierher gebracht. Nette,sehr schnelle Bedienung. Ein Essen war nicht der Bringer!! Fast ohne Diskussion Reklamation durchgeführt. Bekam dann noch ein Trostpflaster ...in Form einer neuen Scheibe Fleisch. Das andere Gericht war,so wie man es erwartet hat. Alles ok.

We sit here very comfortably with live music and have a delicious meal. The fish with fried potatoes was perfect. The schnitzel au four and schnitzel Viennese style as well. An all-round great evening with very attentive and friendly service. It is recommended here and we would be happy to come back.

Husband and child were very disappointed, the schnitzels came on the plate with frying fat, so that they were limp and spongy white underneath. The side dishes were acceptable, but had plenty of room for improvement. The second star was given for the natural flexibility to respond to our wishes. As was normal, I got a plain schnitzel and it was perfect. Due to stress in the kitchen, our son got a normal schnitzel instead of a children's schnitzel that he had ordered and was only charged as a children's schnitzel. The quality didn't fail because of the service staff... Unfortunately it seemed like a tourist joke to us... a shame. The racing Roland can be marveled at from there, but unfortunately it is very uncomfortable to sit in front of it while eating. We should have realized that we had romanticized it... preferring just a drink and maybe an ice cream while admiring it!

The service was very friendly, the fries were unfortunately a bit mushy and the schnitzel was almost uncooked, but the seasoned meat was great. Cucumber salad something different, but good. The ribs are tender, ketchup on the ribs simply doesn't belong, they go in the direction of sweet, American style. I would have preferred it normally braised with potatoes and gravy and sauerkraut. All in all, there is still room for improvement.

Nice restaurant in a very pleasant atmosphere. The arrival “Roland” next to the food is a nice extra, especially for train lovers. Highly recommended!

It's good to sit there, nice location! Portions just right after a day at the beach, at other restaurants you sometimes starve! Price-performance fits! Chicken nuggets for children are even homemade, it wasn't pressed meat, it was really breaded chicken breast! Keep it up!

Hi guys, we were in your restaurant for the first time two weeks ago because we had met the friendly chef by chance in Lobbe shortly before and had a nice chat. So the food is really great, delicious, fresh, nice, cool, relaxed staff! The highlight for us was the Rostbrätl and the spare ribs. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try anything else during our short stay. I'm sure the other dishes are just as good. We will definitely come back to you on our next vacation in Göhren! We have known Bavaria Island at this location for a long time. We have been traveling to Rügen for 14 years. From the initial exuberant enthusiasm for the xxl schnitzel to the realization that the extraordinary dining experience had fallen by the wayside, we were there again this evening. It wasn't bad but it wasn't convincingly good either. The service was super friendly and quick

Unfortunately we can't rate the food because we only got our drinks after 1 hour. Out of sheer anger, we went back to our rehabilitation clinic without eating and hungry. We definitely won't be coming back!!

I can't understand the negative experiences and reviews. We ate there twice this week. Once at lunchtime and just this evening. Called shortly beforehand and asked if a table for 3 was available. The friendly man on the phone said no problem. 10 minutes later we were there and enjoyed the evening. On the first day we had Hamburger Schnitzel, Leberkäse with fried egg and fried potatoes and our son had the Kinderschnitzel and later the potato pancakes. There was nothing to complain about. All around delicious. Today we had cured roast ham with sauerkraut and white cabbage. I'll tell you a poem. My wife had the herring and our little one had the Hamburger Schnitzel again because it was so good. We would love to come back...

Super tasty there. Of course, if it's full you have to wait a bit, but you'll be rewarded with the food. Staff still have to work on themselves a bit, which means listening to the guests, but on the whole everything is OK.

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about it. We waited over 1 hour for the food. My food didn't come at all. There was only a brief apology for what had gone wrong. The service was more than overwhelmed. We won't go there again.

Very tasty food prepared with fish, friendly service and the “Racing Roland” as an attraction

Please avoid a tourist trap if possible. We were initially happy about the schnitzel campaign because I love schnitzel. But it should have been more of an alarm signal. Apart from the fact that my wife's schnitzel was still half raw at one end, which is a no-go since she is pregnant, the breading was anything but crispy, it was dripping with fat and also tasted like old fat from itself dissolving Teflon pan. The waiter's comment "because the chef is under time pressure because of the promotion, that's just the way it is" topped it all off.

The eight of us spontaneously went to dinner this evening (due to the rain on the campsite), it worked well and we were able to get a table within a very short time, the food was tasty and varied, the service was courteous, many thanks to the team at "Rasenden Roland". on the platform for a nice evening in the rustic restaurant

Ate the first schnitzel where you poke it with a fork and a jet of water messes up your shirt, but my wife had a good time too, the laugh wasn't just on my side 🥳🥳. I've been wondering all these years when this dingy green tarpaulin is finally removed from behind the screen, because you have to cut it out every time you take photos 🥳🥳. I don't know what kind of small stomachs some people have, but the few fries and that hopelessly lost blob of cucumber salad didn't fill me up. I don't even want to judge the tasteless serving of the plates by the five of us. Well, life is hard, you're glad that someone is still doing something, but you can put in a little effort for 38 DM, you would have eaten 3 times before 🥳🥳

Wir sind eine Gruppe von Freunden aus Berlin und fahren schon seit über 30 Jahren nach Göhren. Seid diese Gaststätte von einer neuen Besetzung betrieben wird,hat sich alles zum positiven entwickelt. Food carelessly prepared, portions very small, fries floury, seasoned meat gray and tough, cheese hard. Service seemed disinterested and overwhelmed, even though there were only 6 guests there. Furniture is outdated and uncomfortable. Overall, one can only advise against it.

Okay so far. The price for the trip from Putbus to Göhren costs an incredible 30 euros per adult and 15 euros for a small dog on your lap. That's already questionable 😱

We ate here as a small group of seven people. The service was very friendly and in a good mood. The offering is quite diverse, so there should be something for every taste. The location at the train station was also nice, as it was easy to see the narrow-gauge railway. The food came quite quickly, even though we had ordered before 12 p.m. and the kitchen actually only offers warm food from 12 p.m. The dishes were delicious and the portions were more than enough so that everyone was full. In terms of price, I found the restaurant to be moderate, especially on Rügen it is much more expensive.

Wir haben folgendes gegessen. Spareribs und Schnitzel Hamburger Art, die Spareribs waren trocken und für meinen Geschmack zu wenig Soße. Die Beilagen bestanden aus Pommes und Krautsalat, diese waren auch sehr lecker. Bei dem Schnitzel war das Ei sehr labberig und konnte leider nicht mit gegessen werden, als beilage haben wir Bratkartoffeln gewählt. Diese haben auch sehr lecker geschmeckt. Getrunken wurde Bier und Cuba Libre, der Cuba Libre war sehr stark aber ok. Der Kellner war nett und hat sich gerne unterhalten, also Top.

During our visit to the restaurant today we were disappointed from A to Z. The food was lukewarm, there was no way to hang up your clothes, the table was not decorated for a birthday as promised at the lecture. We knew it differently from previous visits. All in all very disappointing!

Today we were again in the former Bavaria, where we were pleasantly surprised several times. The previous day we had already pre-ordered and asked for something special to be set for the table as we had 2 birthday children in our row. Unfortunately we were disappointed there for the first time, unfortunately it wouldn't be the last time. The food was only lukewarm and partly burnt. We are very sorry to write such a review, but there was no price/performance ratio on that day. We are really very disappointed!

Very nice service, great schnitzel, really good fried potatoes (with a hint of rosemary), homemade sauces and salad and the fish soup was also a poem! 😋 The ambience is also harmonious, especially when the speeding Roland drives in or away! Gladly again, next time. Year!

We have been vacationing in Göhren for several years and actually always go to Bavaria (Restaurant Rasender Roland) several times. Relaxed atmosphere and a very nice team (always available for a chat). Food is always very sufficient and of good quality. In the summer months there are often live acts, where there is always a lot going on. So all in all a very nice place where you get that holiday feeling. (Live music, racing Roland, nice people) Gladly again!

The restaurant is located directly at Rasender Roland (final stop). The waiter was unfriendly from the start (I shouldn't sound so "pathetic" when ordering. Seriously: I would have liked to leave straight away :(( . Sure, it's not just holidaymakers who come here, Göhren is also a health resort and I was exhausted after a long trip. - But I have never encountered anything like this. Not very hospitable in behavior. - Food took a long time to arrive even though there wasn't a lot going on. When it was there, it objectively tasted good. However, I didn't feel well. In order to make it somehow good for themselves - that's my impression - the cellars chatted with the customers at the next table. There isn't a sunny spot here, but the ambience of sitting under a "train station roof" is funny and somehow cool. A great restaurant without the waiter.

Heyo, if you are reading this opinion, know one thing. It was my best time, actually. Our last day in Rügen, the waiter cried when he laughed in front of the guests. We were there around 3 to 5 p.m., almost because shortly before we left 😊😊😊 we were with friends for three hours. The waiter and all the guests were laughing because it was a cake called "Apfelstrudel" because the waiter told us that our friend didn't like it but we ate cutlet with mushrooms and fish and there was no room for dessert 🫣🫣🫣 we laughed because the waiter and for the children he was friendly. We would love to see such a gentleman and the entire crew for the food and atmosphere in the restaurant in Kołobrzeg and Dortmund 😊😊😊 the only minus is the smoke from Roland... It smells of exhaust fumes but no one will find a solution for it because it is a tourist attraction after all 😉😉 😉 if we come here, we will only go to Göhren. Because such an atmosphere rarely happens 🥰🥰🥰 The food was great and we recommend the herring and the cutlet with mushrooms. And we invite the waiter to our place, but from what he said, he bought an apartment, so we will meet someday 😊😊😊

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war aber nichts besonderes. Die Salatbeilage kann man in jedem Supermarkt kaufen. Das Fleisch (Rippchen) war recht trocken. Der Fisch war in Ordnung. P.S.: Für einen Bayern-Fan ungeeignet. (Spaß 😆)
