Even one star is too many. Unfriendly. We wanted to eat with six people and were immediately rudely turned away. They don't allow tables to be pushed together. Perhaps they should put up a sign saying tourists not welcome.

Preferably no star at all. You ask if there's a free table for four. The answer you get is, casually, "She needs to sort herself out first and check if there are any free seats." The lady probably hasn't heard of friendliness. After a while, and according to the lady, we were in the way, we left. That was our first and last visit there.

A very good fish restaurant with a Nordic, stern owner who doesn't mince words. We really enjoyed it and would come back anytime. Thank you.

The view is great, and the food tastes great, even if the selection is mediocre. What bothered me, however, was the behavior of one of the waitresses. Many people left, and there were loud complaints. Also, I didn't get the receipt until 45 minutes after twice reminding them that I wanted to pay. I won't be back.

A beautiful little restaurant where everything is just right! Super delicious fish, excellent service, and unbeatable prices. Unfortunately, we only managed to enjoy such a great meal and experience it once this year. We'll definitely be back next year!

A little away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, we found the nice, small restaurant with a nice terrace and a great view of the water. Anyone who appreciates good home cooking without a lot of frills at unbeatable prices has come to the right place. Admittedly, the landlady's charm is a bit cold, but we were served friendly and quickly and the food was very tasty. We liked it, so we went back the next day. And on our next Rügen vacation, we will definitely pay the “Beacon” a visit again.

We wanted to eat in this highly praised restaurant, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed...it's a shame. Nowadays, dogs are more behaved than children.

Just somewhere else in a fish restaurant I realized once again what a gem Ms. Rollin's restaurant is. Simple, no frills, but everything is delicious, cooked to perfection, excellent quality, everything freshly prepared by the boss herself with a lot of passion, that's what makes the restaurant so charming. Similar to the nearby southern beach, the landlady is natural, with a special Nordic charm, so it is simply unique. We really enjoyed our days in Göhren, because the world still seems to be in order here: open words, honest dealings and your own opinion can be found here, including with Ms. Rollin. We would love to come back to Göhren and “Zum Leuchtfeuer” because we felt warmly welcomed.

A true beacon of gastronomy in Göhren. Small but nice restaurant with an excellent and tasty selection of fish dishes. The price-performance ratio is unique and I hope that the owner can continue to rock this “one-man show” for a long time. I am sure that she will succeed with her North German style! Anyone who is on holiday in Göhren should definitely have been here. We were there three times and no matter what we ordered, it tasted great. It is very cozy and inviting here that you feel very comfortable. The boss has her heart in the right place. What she achieves here is very remarkable. She does have a "Nordic" manner, but she prefers it that way rather than having something played out to you. Reservations are not possible here, which should be clear to everyone without complaining. From the terrace you have an excellent view of the Baltic Sea. The restaurant is very simple but still very well furnished in terms of location and image. We definitely won't be there for the last time.

Here you can find the most delicious fish dishes and non-fish eaters can enjoy home-style cooking. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. We have always received friendly service and would be happy to come back.

We didn't experience a warm welcome as guests here. And as a “nice Nordic brusque”, we cannot sugarcoat or excuse the pretentious behavior of the waitress.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about eating and drinking. Unfortunately we were expelled from the house because we had two dogs with us. You could have put a sign outside saying dogs are not allowed.

No matter what other guests say, the landlady is a blast😉👍There is this advertisement...: The best thing about the north is our women 😄 It applies to this woman. She is very special, but she is correct, rocks the whole thing alone.You have to like her robust nature.We think it's great.She was friendly to us and that you have to wait a bit for a freshly prepared meal....?That's just the way it is!The interior is maritime and has a nice harbor pub atmosphere. We really enjoy going here. Fresh fish at its finest. Really good home cooking. I also love the homemade carrot and white cabbage raw vegetable side dish. Given the really good price/performance ratio, I'm happy to accept that there isn't much room for individual wishes and changes. It's amazing how these two women can do it all.

We first met Ms. Rollin while going for a walk... and were encouraged to go out to eat with her... said, done... Guys...Yes, she is Nordic bitter and maybe sometimes a bit harsh, but at heart she is a really GOOD person :-) and in her small, cozy restaurant, with a cozy terrace, spoiled with fresh home cooking, you can eat really tasty food for a really small amount Money. Smile about it, try to have a conversation in a normal tone and just enjoy the food.

When we arrived there were no seats available on the terrace and so we waited for a speech or greeting, unfortunately in vain. We were not only ignored but also looked at angrily. The couple in front of us were assigned a table in the restaurant with the words: "THEY can't come in here with their dog anyway." That was related to us, but we still waited because a table became available on the terrace. When my husband politely asked after a long wait in the restaurant whether we could occupy the free table, the "boss" gave my husband such a cheeky shout that it could be heard outside the restaurant. We then left because we were unwanted. We have never experienced anything like this before! Never again beacons!!!

Delicious, fresh and simple food. I guess it's the cheapest place on the whole island. Simple customer service nothing to complain about. Beautiful environment...the terrace is spectacular in its simplicity. I would happily return.

There is hardly a restaurant in Göhren where you can eat well and deliciously like this one. However, you have to accept that you will be treated like the most unwanted guests of all time! This raises the question for me: why do I run a restaurant when guests are obviously not welcome? And please, I'm not talking about guests who behave like... I could still understand this, but questions remain...

Bad, bad, beacon. We are so disappointed. At first you are ignored, while the regular guests are served in a friendly manner. Then you asked for fries instead of potatoes and were treated very unfriendly. The question about a Diet Coke or diet alternatives was also answered in an extremely unfriendly manner with a NO. We left again. This is a two-tier treatment. Something like that is not recommended. Terrible. I wish I could select minus stars.

Yes, you can like her, the landlady, Ms. Rollin, and we like her direct but always attentive nature. She is the boss and doesn't hold back when someone deserves it. The food is very good home cooking with a fish theme and is reasonably priced. We are guaranteed to be in the beacon again on our next vacation in Göhren. Bye until then!

Surprisingly cheap, fresh from the pan to the plate, tasty and simple, homemade. The ambience is getting old and takes getting used to, but you can still sit comfortably and enjoy your meal with a view of the greenery and the sea. A good insider tip away from the main street!

Fresh fish is the motto here. We like coming here, you get very good quality at a fair price. Here the boss cooks, serves and collects food personally. This makes the restaurant different and gives it a special flair. Absolute recommendation from us. Oh well - there is no convenience food here - only fresh ingredients are used and cooked here.

The fish is top notch, the fried potatoes are the best I have eaten since I was a child. If you're looking for honest cuisine at honest prices, this is the place for you. If you're lucky, you can sit with a sea view, both inside and outside. The owner's approach to service is unique, direct but also warm. With a little tolerance it is as always: How to call into the forest... We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is by far the most uncomfortable, unclean and unfriendly there is on the whole of Rügen!!! The boss is a complete catastrophe, unfriendly, cheeky when there is a complaint and even tries to fool and cheat on the customer. Unfortunately you have to give a star when rating it, even that isn't worth it. They probably don't need to be polite, as there are always new guests who will let their day be ruined there once and never again. So if you like service with bad manners and rudeness, this is the place for you. It's really surprising that this restaurant hasn't closed yet!!!!!

We were under the impression that if the owner doesn't like your face, you will be served accordingly. No greeting, the card was placed on the table without a word... but she was able to chat with “her regulars” forever. We felt like we had interrupted. I had the fried herring with roasted potatoes and “salad” - this consisted of a minimal salad garnish. My husband's fish plate was probably OK. At some point later she continued chatting happily with “her” guests inside and basically stopped coming to our table. We ordered the drinks inside and got them too. What else caught our attention. Guests who arrived at 8 p.m. were immediately intercepted and the kitchen closed. “Here it is” - and you are then mockingly shown the small board on the terrace. Suggestion: you should inform the guests that the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. BEFORE the stairs to the terrace, if you want them to come at all. We were only there once. I almost feel a little sorry for the guests who get lost there in the future...

Kleine Terrasse, drinnen nostalgisch. Fischgerichte aller Art. Der gebackene Hering mit Bratkartoffeln war lecker, KartoffelPortion hätte größer sein können. Für den Preis absolut okay. Fassbier 0,5 l für 4,80€ ist Seltenheit!

Wir wurden "Wiederholungstäter".Die Chefin ist tatsächlich etwas "friesisch Herb", aber absolut nicht unfreundlich.Mit jedem Mal wurde sie gesprächiger. Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Preis/Leistung stimmen. Der Fisch und die Bratkartoffeln sind wirklich sehr gut.

Wie jedes Mal, wenn wir in Göhren sind, darf (mindestens) ein Besuch im Leuchtfeuer nicht fehlen. Auch heute wieder gute Hausmannskost, hier schmeckts noch wie bei Muttern. Sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis, kein aufgetragener Schnörgel, welchen man mitbezahlt. Und die Inhaberin ist ein Orginal, wohltuend ehrlich und herzensgut. Wir kommen gern wieder. Günstiges und gutes Essen. Man muss allerdings rechtzeitig da sein, die Küche schließt um 20:00. Unsere Bestellung um 19:30 wurde zwar noch angenommen, aber nicht gerade mit Begeisterung. Ich war noch nie die letzte in einem Lokal. Schon gar nicht um 20:15 Uhr. 😁

Kleines hübsches Lokal mit Terrasse und super Ausblick. Für alle Fischliebhaber zu empfehlen, leckere Hausmannskost. Immer wieder erfreut uns die Wirtin mit ihrem nordischen Charme. Es ist schön das es noch Lokale wie dieses, mit einem vernünftigen Preis Leistungsverhältnis auf der Insel gibt.

Essen lecker richtige Hausmanskost. Der Fisch auf dem Punkt gebraten und die Beilagen wie von Oma gemacht. Danke die Berliner. Schön auch das Hunde draußen bleiben müssen, ist ja auch alles lecker Menschenfutter

Das Essen ist in Ordnung, meiner Gruppe hat es geschmeckt, meine Kartoffeln waren aber versalzen, was passieren kann, deshalb ziehe ich keinen Stern ab. Wir waren gleich zur Offnungszeit da und wurden gefühlt so lange ignoriert, bis alle Gäste im Innenraum ihre Getränke bekommen hatten, obwohl alle sich gleichzeitig gesetzt hatten. Das liegt wohl an der geringen Zahl der Mitarbeitenden. Die Portionen waren verhältnismäßig klein (verglichen mit dem Tennisstübchen) und niemand in meiner Gruppe wurde satt. Das hätte man schon mit ein bisschen mehr Beilage vermeiden können. Mehr Fisch verlangen wir nicht. Deshalb einen Stern Abzug.

Leckerer Fisch, Portionen nicht zu groß. Ruhiges Ambiente mit toller Aussicht. Service ist freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Leider ist der Zugang nichts für gebrechliche Menschen.

Ich möchte lecker essen und keine Deko bewundern! Die Gerichte sind unschlagbar und die Köchin-Kellnerin-Chefin in einer Person einfach auf direkte Art ehrlich.

Wer sehr gut und auch noch zu einem super Preis Leistungs Verhältnis essen und trinken (!) will, ist hier bestens aufgehoben! Und was hier "bemängelt" wird bezüglich der "freundlichen Art"... Wie es in den Wald reinruft....😉🤷 Wir können uns jedenfalls absolut nicht beschweren und finden, das Restaurant muss bestehen bleiben.... Local place tucked away in a side street with a nice view. Great value for money and generous portions. The lady doing the service is certainly special but entertaining to listen to.

Ist einen Besuch Wert wenn man auf Göhren ist. Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Man sollte spätestens bis 19 uhr dort einkehren, da es sonst passieren kann, dass das Essen aus ist. Die Wirtin ist auf ihre Art sehr freundlich und ihre direkte Art erfrischend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
