An inviting place, even if it is unfortunately right on a main road. But you quickly forget this and there is less traffic in the evening anyway. The selection of dishes is excellent in numerous variations 🌟 everything from meat-heavy to vegetarian and can also be easily ordered in smaller portions via tapas. I visited Kessel Haus with my baby, and unfortunately, I felt very unwelcome. It seemed like the staff were not tolerant of normal baby behavior, such as crying. While I understand that a quiet atmosphere may be preferred, families with babies should not feel judged or uncomfortable. As a parent, this made the experience stressful and disappointing. I hope they can work on being more understanding and accommodating for parents with young children.

The Bollywood Restaurant in Bad Tölz has been a constant address for my family and me for years when we want to eat really well and simply have a nice evening. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted so warmly that you immediately feel at home - as if you were visiting good friends. The food? Simply unbeatable! You can taste every dish that is cooked here with love and skill. Whether it's the creamy butter chicken, the spicy biryani or the freshly baked naan bread - everything is perfectly seasoned and incredibly delicious. I've tried many Indian restaurants, but none come close to this one. It's these evenings here that stay in your memory: great atmosphere, incredibly good food and service that genuinely tries to make you feel comfortable. If we want to do something special or just fancy really good food, we always come here. If you've never been here before, you should definitely try it out!

Very friendly atmosphere. The restaurant has just reopened under new responsibility. The menu is supplemented by a daily menu, which is very pleasant and provides variety. We ate a really good rump steak with fried potatoes, for which I also ordered leaf spinach, and a celery steak, which was also really delicious. In addition to the guest room, there is also a large hall (with a stage) for events (even larger ones, estimated up to 150 people). I almost forgot about the beer garden now. Parking is also no problem, there are plenty of spaces in front of the door.
