Restaurant & Hotel Milano in Bad Tölz

Delicious food and friendly staff. Nice ambiance.

The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful, which was generally a positive. Unfortunately, there were several points that made the stay less pleasant. The breakfast was significantly overpriced: €12.50 for a portion of scrambled eggs, €13.50 for tomato and mozzarella, and €3.20 for an espresso – prices you'd expect in a 5-star hotel, which this isn't. One major problem: All rooms are on the first floor, which can only be reached through the kitchen. This means that the kitchen smell permeates the entire hallway and into all the rooms – which was very disturbing. On the positive side, the new beds were comfortable. However, they do give off a strong smell of fresh wood – you have to like that. The bathrooms, on the other hand, are outdated: The bathtub seemed old, and the sink was so low that you had to bend down to use it. Friendly service alone is unfortunately not enough here – the overall value for money isn't right.

We stayed in one of the family bedrooms in the hotel and lucky enough to have the balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. It really feels like you're holidaying outside of Germany Beautiful rustic room, plenty of room for 4 people. Beds comfy. Breakfast was good enough. We ate in the restaurant that night; very good staff and the fresh fish was delish!

In this most expensive region of our comprehensive tour of Germany, this hotel is the cheapest we found. We were there in May and therefore out of season. However, this hotel is far from offering the criteria that we found in the different hotels of this price during our Roadtrip. For €140 without breakfast, we had a spacious room, very simple and without charm. As for the bathroom, it was so small that two of us couldn't fit in it. In short it was clean and for one night it suited us.

Was traveling through with my daughter. While looking for a place to eat we came across Milano and were not disappointed. Very friendly welcome and service. The waiter conveys a feeling that every guest is warmly welcomed. First class service!!! Gladly again. Thanks

Great bed made of pine wood! The whole room smells of the wood. Very pleasant. Unfortunately the bathroom has not yet been renovated (but is planned). Very nice and attentive family that runs the hotel.

Parking is sometimes difficult. Room, breakfast, dinner: everything was great. Since I'm often in the corner for work, it feels very familiar now, thank you very much!

Very good food, nice people and good hospitality

I'm completely satisfied. The room was perfectly fine. The food was delicious, and the price/performance ratio was also very good. Super centrally located. Conclusion: I'd be happy to come back.

Good restaurant and pizzeria in Bad Tölz. Extensive selection of pizzas, pasta, fish, etc., including a good selection of wines. Absolutely excellent value for money. The quality and taste of the food were impeccable. Friendly and fast service. It was busy around lunchtime. Reservations are recommended. I would give it a 4.5. I'll definitely be back.

We really liked the Christmas atmosphere, the service was initially quite attentive and we ordered two two courses. Unfortunately, the carbonara didn't convince us at all, because on the one hand it's absolutely not authentically Italian with cream, and on the other hand it's simply not easy to digest. Well, that's a matter of taste. However (after good calculations) charging 1.50 euros for a pizza box for the leftover pizza without saying anything is not very hospitable. At least they could have pointed that out to us. After all, food and drinks are not charged upon request. On top of that, the operator objected to this review and had it deleted due to defamation. Unfortunately, this shows a lack of critical ability. Too bad!

We went there to eat again after a long time and it was delicious, just like before! Very friendly waiter and the price was also right. We'll definitely come back.

We just ordered pizza to pick up. The price-performance ratio is underground. We ordered two family pizzas (diameter approx. 50 cm, no fancy toppings) and paid €84 for them. The pizza tasted good, but the price really wasn't justified.

I rate the pizzeria. The pizzas taste wonderful and the service is excellent. We were pampered by a young man who has very good manners and he is wonderfully naturally friendly. The location is nice and there is a very nice terrace that is partially covered. We would like to come again.

BEST PIZZA IN BAD TÖLZ! By far the best pizza you can get in Bad Tölz. I order often and am satisfied every time. At other restaurants there is always a 50/50 chance that the pizza is too dry. Not here! SERVICE: The staff is VERY friendly. You feel like you're greeting people from every corner and saying goodbye from every corner. Simply TOP. I CAN 100% RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

Just rate that food. Had a pizza in the evening. Everything else was closed. Pizza was well topped but simply seasoned. Unfortunately the dough is not very thin and... The edge didn't taste good at all. With a unique impression Rather mediocre.

Rather disappointing, the pizza itself would have earned three stars - average. However, since the onion rings on my Pizza Tonno, which in my opinion is always served with onions from Bolzano to Bari, simply require a surcharge of €1.50 (change in side dish) on the bill (not visible on the menu), then you don't have to but rather frown. It's not necessary!

Nice atmosphere and very tasty food

First of all: The food was really excellent. Had 3 different pizzas which all tasted very good. But now to the big BUT: the service, to be precise our waiter. First brought a wrong pizza. Good can happen. But no excuse. The question of whether the wrong pizza would still be eaten was strange. When you finish eating, he pulls the plates away from you, just as you put your fork down. No polite asking if everything tasted good. Nothing. The wrong pizza was then on the bill next to the correct pizza, so we had to pay for 3 and 4 pizzas. Of course complained. Was then deducted from the invoice. Too bad. We would like to come more often because of the food, but not anymore with this service.

Bewertung für das Restaurant: Wirklich eine Herzensempfehlung. Zuvorkommender, rücksichtsvoller Service, vegane Extrawünsche wurden gerne erfüllt (und zwar köstlich!) Suppen und Pizzen waren sehr lecker und gut gewürzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vielen Dank für das gute Mittagsmahl.
