We chose this restaurant for our club outing to the Grate and were delightfully surprised! Everything was absolutely perfect: the food was excellent, the drinks were delicious, and the hosts and staff were in a great mood. Prices were absolutely reasonable. We booked in advance with a bus and 47 people, and the catering team handled the event very well! A superbly rustic and down-to-earth restaurant that we can recommend at any time, even for groups!

The current dishes on the menu were perfectly adequate, and the schnitzel we chose was very tasty and a large portion. The service was super friendly, and the beer was served in a beer mug. I can recommend it.

This is what a Bavarian pub looks like! A must-visit when I drive past Tölz.

Great restaurant, no à la carte menu, but rather a rotating daily special on the blackboard. When it's gone, it's gone, which I consider a sign of freshness because they don't rely on an "endless freezer." Friendly, Bavarian service. The food is excellent, and the price is right too ☺️ I'd happily come back!

What a wonderful, traditional inn. Even the reservation was easy, and we felt warmly welcomed. We sat in the dining room. The food was typically Bavarian and incredibly delicious. The waiters were so warm and witty at the same time. We won't soon forget the meal here. Thank you for the friendly hospitality. We'll be back very soon.

Very good food! Nice atmosphere and very friendly service on Sunday in the beer garden....

The food, well, is nicely presented, but by no means particularly good. The Leberkäse (meatloaf) was cold and hard (probably true, but it doesn't taste good), the cheese dumplings were greasy and crispy (a matter of taste), and I can make the spaghetti with Bolognese fresher and better in 10 minutes. The Tegernseer beer on tap is excellent, but these days it's sold all over Germany like cheap produce, so it no longer feels regional. The waitresses seemed waitressed, couldn't really explain the dishes described in Bavarian very well, and you felt like a stranger because you didn't come from the promised land of Bavaria and were giving the staff kisses. But what I expect with a reservation is to be seated alone at a table and not with four strangers crammed in like sardines. I was glad when it was over.

There were four of us cycling through the area and we stumbled upon the place by chance. Upon request, we reserved a table for 1.5 hours later so we could sit a bit longer by the Isar River. Without the reservation, it would probably have been difficult. The beer garden was full throughout the evening. We had a very good meal, and the beer and all the other drinks were excellent. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff truly put their heart and soul into their work. We felt very comfortable and had a lovely evening there. If we're ever in Bad Tölz again, we'll definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening!

A true culinary discovery – Bavarian hospitality at its finest We happened to be nearby and were looking for a rustic inn – and were more than pleasantly surprised. This restaurant offers a Bavarian culinary experience like I haven't had in a long time. The authentic atmosphere is immediately apparent upon entering. The beer is served in authentic clay mugs, with a head that couldn't be more perfect. The open kitchen is a real highlight: clean, visible, and a clear sign of the high quality that is practiced here. The cooking here is done with heart and hand – and you can taste it. The food is particularly noteworthy: everything is fresh and homemade, with no trace of frozen food or standard fare. The changing daily menu is lovingly put together with seasonal and regional ingredients. You get the feeling that you can actually try everything here – and nothing disappoints. The restrooms are also modern, clean, and reflect the well-maintained impression of the entire establishment. An all-around successful visit that leaves me wanting more. I'm already looking forward to the next time – this inn is a real insider tip!

We went to the Jägerwirt in April after a hike and were greeted very warmly :) the cheese spaetzle in particular was excellent and we also learned a few tips about what it's like in Bavarian inns

We had lunch at the Jägerwirt today, we were thrilled, the Kasspotzn and the grilled roast were delicious, the service was friendly and quick, the new toilet was pleasant, everything was great.

I can't understand the good reviews. There is no card (menu) that you can read at the table. I ordered the grilled roast with dumplings. What came to the table was a culinary disaster. The meat was still a bit edible, the dumpling tasted of nothing, or slightly of fish. I have the impression that a tiler or a driver is working in the kitchen. Never again.

Now a big fan of this inn! Sepp, the innkeeper and chef, prepares whatever fresh you can find! I think it's great 👍🏻 The menu changes weekly and if you don't try too hard, you can always find something. Thank you

Great inn with very tasty food. There is no map, the dishes are written on in chalk. Everything fresh. Everything that is is wiped away. There is great Tegernsee on tap from clay jugs. The room is very cozy and the waitresses are super friendly. Absolute recommendation.

A quaint economy, you think you're in a village. Very well eaten, very tasty, rarely eaten such a well-seasoned grilled roast with a crust, excellent sauce and dumplings. We will be back.

Great Bavarian economy in Bad Tölz. We came to the Jägerwirt via the program “We in Bavaria”, where its food was highly praised. The prices are A1 Great, quiet beer garden, with Tegernsee beer, very good food! Nice boss. We can only recommend the Jägerwirt.

Everything is good so far. There were 4 of us and we got a place without a reservation. My cheese dumplings were a bit very dark...the others' food was excellent.

Very rustic, nice beer garden with trees, the food is very good, unfortunately the service often "chatters" with the regular guests and then you can't be in a hurry. But we always enjoy going there when we are in Tölz.

Jedes Mal wenn ich beruflich nach Bayern komme finde ich Speisen auf leckerstem Niveau. Der Jägerwirt ist wirklich sehr sehr gut und kann ich jedem empfehlen. Wie ich mitbekommen habe sollte man definitiv reservieren.

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Wir haben sogar ein paar Kinderbücher an den Tisch gebracht bekommen, um unseren zwei kleinen Kindern die (kurze) Wartezeit aufs Essen leichter zu machen. Eindeutige Empfehlung!

Sehr schöne bayerische Wirtschaft! Ich war heute mit dem Rad in Bad Tölz. Wegen der guten Bewertungen bei Google bin ich hierher gekommen. Ruhige Lage außerhalb des Zentrums. Schöner Gastgarten. Frisch wird hier gekocht. Super. Die Auswahl ist überschaubar, das gefällt mir. Faire Preise, super gutes Essen! Sehr nette Chefin und sehr netter Koch. Das Gulasch war exzellent. Die Soße hervorragend. Scharf, so mag ich es. Einen zweiten Semmelknödel hätte ich auch noch gegessen 😋 Das Bier 🍻 vom Tegernsee ist super. Dieses Gasthaus kann ich empfehlen! Ich wünsche euch weiterhin gute Geschäfte!

Man muss den Jägerwirt in Tölz einfach eimal in seinem Leben besucht haben,wenn man über bayrische Tradidionen auch nur ein bisschen nachdenkt !!!!

Sehr schöner Biergarten und traditionelles Ambiente mit Tegernseer Bier aus Steinkrügen. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich deftig und absolut ausreichend, die Stimmung rundum gut und der Service einwandfrei. Alles in allem, einfach boarisch! —> auf den Bildern ist der Grillbraten und ein frisch gezapftes Fass Bier zu sehen! 😊

Seit über 35 Jahren komme ich immer wieder gerne zu diesem Kleinod bayerischer Wirtshauskultur. Das Essen ist durchweg gut und das frisch gezapfte Bier unschlagbar.

Ich esse gerne beim Jägerwirt. Ob mit Freunden nach einer Radtour, oder auch alleine um den Feierabend im Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Sympathische Bedienungen in bayrischem Ambiente. Ob im Biergarten oder in der Stubn es ist immer gemütlich. Nur den Steinkrug sollte man nicht offen stehen lassen, es sei denn man will ein frisches Bier.

Eigentlich sehr schönes uhriges Lokal aber Küche und Gaststätte braucht etwas Auffrischung

Ich gehe seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gerne hin. Sehr gutes bayrisches Essen. Ein Familienbetrieb mit Seele! Bier gibts noch ausm Krug!!!

Es gab nur Fleisch, bis auf eine Alternative! Sehr lang gewartet, bis das Essen aufgenommen wurde! Würstl hätte ich noch gegessen, aber gab es nicht Mal! Ist nur was für Freunde der deftigen, fleischlastigen Hausmannskost! Apropos, die Suppe musste ich auch stark nachwürzen! Nie wieder!

Wunderschöner Biergarten und Gaststube. Es gibt tagesaktuell ca 10 bayerische Gerichte. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet und die Qualität ist top. Wir lieben es hier!

Gutes Bier im Krug, ein Gulasch mit feinen Fleischstücken und dies von einer freundlichen Wirtin serviert. Und dann schien noch die Sonne im Biergarten. Was will man mehr.

Wie immer, beste Bewirtung, sehr gutes Essen und eine Bierkultur die vielen anderen weit voraus ist.

Wir waren zum ersten mal da, aber garantiert nicht das letzte Mal! Echtes bayrisches Gasthaus, tolle Wirtaleut und vor allem super leckeres Essen! Meine Milzwurst war die Wucht. 👍👍👍👍👍
