We were visiting Heilbronn and wanted to try something different, so we came to Spätzle because we thought the idea of regional tapas was great - and we weren't disappointed. :)
The food was great and the two of us were well full with 6 tapas. The staff was very nice and also available for little jokes. We were immediately informed in a friendly manner about the reduced drinks menu, as the restaurant is unfortunately closing in a few days. To our surprise, as the concept, the food and the atmosphere are really great.
If the Spätzle opens again and we visit Heilbronn again, this restaurant will definitely be on the to do list. :)
I ordered food there twice today at 6 p.m., both times the food came the next day at 2 a.m.
You think this is a joke but unfortunately not.
I think 7 hours of waiting is way too long.
So if you want to have the food in the next hour, don't order here.
We were at Villa Lina for the second time today. The beef fillet with potato gratin was disappointing. For 31 euros we would have expected more. The fillet tasted unseasoned and was gray on the edge and very dry. There was way too much pepper in the sauce. The gratin was very little, about two forks, and tasted bland. Upon request, which we made as soon as the plate was brought and we saw the tiny portion, we were given a second helping of the gratin, but it only came so late that the plate was already empty. We were not given any apology or understanding.
The walnut ravioli was very salty and the pasta dough was too cooked, the portion was small, 6 pieces.
There were four of us and we had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the main course. The guests at the next table arrived after us and had already finished dessert when our food arrived. When asked, this was justified by the fact that we had a small starter salad. No apology here either.
We can't understand that. Every question we asked was met with incomprehension and a bit of annoyance. For two main meals, a starter salad and two drinks, we paid 68 euros.
All in all, neither the service nor the food was good and we won't be coming back.
As a paying guest, you want to feel welcome and not like a nuisance and almost like a supplicant.
A great lunch. Good and very friendly service, a lovely ambiance, and, of course, very good food. Last but not least, a breathtaking view from the Kappelberg.
The “fresh” sucuk – straight from the underpants
I had heard that this Turkish restaurant is known for its particularly fresh sucuk. “Here you can get the sausage almost straight from your pocket – I definitely have to try it!” I was told. With this thought, I entered full of anticipation.
As soon as I ordered, Tuncay Kula, the waiter, arrived with a big smile and a sausage in his hand. “Fresh from the kitchen, as promised!” But when he pulled the sausage out of his pants, my breath caught in my throat. No, not from your pocket – from your underpants! He pulled it out with a carefree gesture and said, “As fresh as it can be!”
I stared in shock as a heavy, unpleasant smell of rancid garlic hung in the air. It was hard to believe. Tuncay noticed my look and added with a grin, “Wait, I actually just got them out!”
I sat down, trying to be polite, but the thought of that sausage coming straight out of Tuncay's underwear made lunch stick in my throat. The first bite confirmed my worst fears - the taste was as unpleasant as the smell. It was as if the sausage had spent years in a bag with him before it came to me.
Very good restaurant. Super nice service. Fair price. Would love to come back. Reservations are an advantage. They're always here when we're at the RV park. We can also highly recommend the butcher shop.
Very good, unusual cuisine at reasonable prices. The dessert was a dream! The service was always attentive and very friendly, but unfortunately a bit slow for our taste. Rustic ambience. Very few parking spaces.
Great Styrian atmosphere, super tasty and authentic food. Be sure to reserve in advance as there is always a lot going on here. Many thanks also to the lovely new waitress who did a great job. We'll definitely be back
I went out to eat for the first time about a year ago and was totally amazed that there was such a good, modern restaurant in Heilbronn. Unfortunately, a second attempt failed due to the opening times. The restaurant is now completely closed due to tragic circumstances. Hopefully it will continue again at some point! The concept is super contemporary and you can get the service, which can sometimes be a bit stumbling, under control.
We were in Niederbrückel for the first time yesterday.
We had 3 different schnitzel dishes.
All 3 were absolutely top.
Nice atmosphere, very very hospitable and nice.
Will eat there more often.
Absolute recommendation
Saturday evening completely booked. Then you noticed that the kitchen was reaching its limits. Waited over an hour for food. In addition, the issue was not carried out in the order in which the orders were placed. I don't think it's okay.
But this didn't affect the quality, everything was very tasty.
The young service team was very friendly, but could have been a little more attentive.
What is not possible is EUR 6.00 for a liter of tap water. 1.00 EUR would be appropriate for the dishes.
This time I have to make a comment because I can't be patient anymore. I've given you a chance 3 times now, apart from the fact that the bowls taste good, but every time whether I order on site or via uber eats, my sauce is forgotten! We pay so much because you really have to say that it is expensive and that the sauce is forgotten despite the note! This has happened so often now, it's terribly annoying!
