Die Pizza ist eine der Besten in Freiburg. Der Service ist freundlich formuliert ausbaufähig. Es werden Bestellungen vergessen, Reservierungen vergessen und es wird sich von ein paar Servicekräften nicht wirklich Mühe gegeben.

Leckere Pizza und guter Service, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Alles hat gepasst.

Wir hatten ein hervorragendes, reichhaltiges und hausgemachtes Essen. Drinnen war es etwas warm, aber die Reise hat sich absolut gelohnt. Vielen Dank.

Einen Stern gibt es für die Musik und die Terrasse, ansonsten war die Pizza sehr spärlich belegt und die Karaffe Wasser kostete 6,50 Euro... angesichts der Bewertungen hätte man mehr erwarten können.

Der Außenbereich ist sehr sympathisch u liegt bei den Tennisplätzen.

Für uns die leckerste Pizza in Freiburg! Auf unserem kürzlichen Italienroadtrip haben wir auch keine bessere gegessen :) Ambiente ist jetzt nichts besonderes. Service ist sehr freundlich aber auch ab und zu etwas überfordert wenn viel los ist. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

Bei unserer Ankunft durften wir das Hauptgericht nicht auswählen, sondern mussten zuerst ein Getränk und eventuell eine Vorspeise bestellen. Trotz unseres Drängens war es aufgrund des großen Andrangs unmöglich, sofort Pizza und Pasta zu bestellen. Eine große Gruppe, die nach uns ankam, konnte hingegen sofort Pizza bestellen. Nach einiger Zeit und mehrmaligem Nachfragen konnten wir endlich bestellen, und wie sich herausstellte, gab es keine Pastagerichte mehr, nur noch Pizza. Jetzt verstanden wir, warum wir nicht früher bestellen konnten, denn hätten wir das gewusst, wären wir woanders essen gegangen. Nun war es aber schon spät, und wir hatten bereits Getränke und Vorspeisen bestellt. Früher war dies unser Lieblingsitaliener in Freiburg, wegen des köstlichen Essens, aber das ist eine große Enttäuschung. Update: Der Inhaber hat sich bei uns gemeldet, um die Situation zu erklären. Donnerstags gibt es nur Pizza und Lasagne, und das wurde uns nicht im Voraus mitgeteilt. Auch auf der Website war es nicht deutlich angegeben, und der Mitarbeiter hat es uns nicht erklärt. Es ist gut, dass dies geklärt wurde. Die Website wird aktualisiert und die Mitarbeiter erhalten eine neue Information.

Ende Januar 2026. Sehr leckere Pizze, die junge weibliche Servicekraft war super der junge Mann leider nicht, er brachte falsche Getränke und eine Pizza war auch falsch. Er sollte sich auch nicht vor den Gästen mit ihr streiten, das wollen wir einfach nicht hören!

Nachtrag: nach meiner Kritik hat sich das Restaurant gemeldet, sich entschuldigt, selbst reevaluiert und eine Rückzahlung angeboten - sehr professioneller Umgang und nette Managerin. Habe schon mehrfach dort gegessen. Vor Ort ist der Service immer etwas ausbaufähig, aber wenigstens war das Essen immer gut. Heute habe ich Pizza nach Hause bestellt mit Burrata. Das Suchbild habe ich angefügt. Für den Preis sehr enttäuschend.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal spontan an einem Montag Abend dort, weil alle anderen Pizzerien geschlossen hatten. Das war unser Glück, es war ein wunderbarer Abend. Die Pizza Avocado ein Gedicht, dazu gab es frisches Knoblauch und Chilli-Öl auf den Tisch (großartig!), die Kellner waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr leckeres authentisch italienisches Essen. Die Inhaberin ist besonders lieb und zuvorkommend. Das Team ist sehr nett und kompetent. Wir kommen wieder gerne her.

Wir haben mit unseren Enkeln dort zum ersten mal gegessen und kommen bestimmt wieder ! Sehr Kinderfreundlich und der Service ist sehr nett. Martha war sehr lieb mit den Kindern, engagiert und hat unsere Wünsche klasse erfüllt. Super italienisches Essen und Service !

The pizza is sooooo good! And it's so affordable! Other places make pizzas half the size for the same price. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. It's definitely my new favorite Italian restaurant!

Waiting, waiting, waiting for the third time... others came after us and ate before us. We're still waiting for the pepper 🤔

The pizza was okay (not as dry as my parents'/in-laws'), but the salad was drowning in dressing. It tasted alright, but nothing special. They forgot one pizza on delivery, blamed Lieferando, and called first. They said the driver was out with everything, and half an hour later they called again to make a new pizza. They said the restaurant was full... so the fault wasn't Lieferando's. Their inability to handle a complaint speaks volumes. We declined a replacement delivery; who knows what might happen in a restaurant like that? If you can't deliver, you shouldn't offer the service. We were expecting solid Italian cuisine, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Never again, and I wouldn't recommend them.

A real highlight! The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and courteous, without being intrusive. You can tell the heart and soul of the place. We'll definitely be back! We highly recommend it!

We waited a long time for the food and in the end a missing dish arrived. All the other diners finished their dishes and only then did the missing dish arrive and it was not what we asked for either. Not good service at all.

Unfortunately, we were unlucky with our waiter, which lowers the overall rating. The other staff were very friendly and attentive. But even with the otherwise delicious food, you can't give it full marks. The carbonara, for example, was made with cream instead of egg, contrary to the menu's indication. What a pity about the guancale!

Unacceptable wait time, regardless of the restaurant. The beer, served, is warm by the time the food arrives! 35/40 minutes between ordering and receiving the pasta dish!

Food overall okay, pizza great 👍🏻 Service, however, was abysmal. Starters came before drinks, salads after main courses, and a kids' meal was forgotten. No apology or anything like that, which is a shame...

We had lunch here with 28 people on our company outing. Everyone enjoyed the food, the service and the contact with Ms. Stampone beforehand were very friendly, and special requests were accommodated. We highly recommend it; we'll be happy to come back!

The bruschetta appetizer was okay. The pizza was great. The salad was a bit disappointing, as it was just iceberg lettuce with grated carrot, tomatoes, and a few bell pepper rings. I would have expected seasonal leaf salads or at least some cucumber and arugula.

Great Italian food. We spontaneously stopped by on a Sunday evening. It was a comfortably furnished dining room with a few tables. The service staff was prompt and took our order promptly. The food also arrived relatively quickly, considering the number of people there. We highly recommend the Quattro fromaggi pizza and the bruschetta. The chocolate soufflé, which tasted excellent, deserves special mention. The tiramisu, on the other hand, was rather disappointing and flavorless. Nevertheless, a visit is highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

The service is very poor. Yesterday, they charged us €10 more for our card payment. It's a good thing we noticed. I don't recommend it at all!

Terrible service, apart from the slowness that can happen but you can't bring an appetizer for two with only one plate and no cutlery. Very little bread. Pizza not much, very heavy dough.

It's just a sports restaurant. The food and staff were good. A sharp knife for the pizza would be great, or pre-sliced. You should make a reservation as a group (3 people).

We didn't really like the pizza dough. Rubbery. Toppings were ok/good. The homemade drinks were also ok as was the lasagne. But this could have been done a little more often. The long waiting time after ordering wasn't that bad. Italian dishes without Italians, which of course means nothing and is just a statement.

An all around great pizzeria! Very tasty food, not just the pizza – pasta and salads were also great. The service is warm and attentive, ideal for families. Children are welcome here and feel comfortable. The beautiful terrace invites you to eat - perfect for relaxed evenings. Gladly again !

Delicious, traditional Italian food, everything fresh and tasty! My recommendation is a pizza burrata on the terrace at sunset! A dream! Service is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Saturday evening completely booked. Then you noticed that the kitchen was reaching its limits. Waited over an hour for food. In addition, the issue was not carried out in the order in which the orders were placed. I don't think it's okay. But this didn't affect the quality, everything was very tasty. The young service team was very friendly, but could have been a little more attentive. What is not possible is EUR 6.00 for a liter of tap water. 1.00 EUR would be appropriate for the dishes.

It doesn't even get cut if you want to take it with you and when you order it it just gets in the way. It takes a very long time and is not recommended

I visited the Colloseum Restaurant and was completely satisfied! I would particularly like to highlight the great service. Fahied was incredibly friendly, attentive and professional. He took a lot of time to advise me on the selection and really made sure I felt comfortable. His knowledge of the wines was impressive, and the recommended rosé went perfectly with my Pasta Salmone. I will definitely come back

We came here for the first time with my family. Very clean environment, kind waiters, Mrs. Giulia served us with a lot of loving welcome and friendliness. Well, the food was really top notch. We felt for a moment that we were in Italy eating, I can only really recommend this place... it will definitely be worth doing all this again, we will be back soon.

What a treat!! We were there for the first time with a large group on New Year's Eve and were completely amazed because we didn't know that there was such a good Italian restaurant in Freiburg and we also lived very close by. We had a five-course menu that was simply a delight (especially the osso buco and the vitello tonnato), rarely eaten so well and the whole thing with great Italian live music. We will come often now and thank you very much for this unforgettable evening

The food was very good, unfortunately the service wasn't quite as perfect. Maybe it was because the restaurant was completely full, so 2-3 people in service are not enough. Unfortunately, the food arrived with a delay, the first ones were ready when the last ones got their food. Prices are completely okay, as are portion sizes.

Food was delicious. Service a bit overwhelmed, but very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was also full. The female waiter was probably responsible for all the tables. A waiter for counter and dessert. One waiter was more interested in drinking coffee than providing support. He did bring food to the table and collect it at the end, but I think it would make sense to take on more tasks when the house was full. What was unpleasant... 4 young people ordered pizza to take away and blocked a table that had already been set while they waited. During this time, guests had to be rejected. The young people touched the cutlery and one of the cutlery fell on the floor and was put back on the table. When the table became free and new guests were placed there, we made the waitress aware of it, unfortunately the cutlery was not replaced . That really surprised us. Hygiene issue

Been there for the first time and was well attended. When four guests arrived, they sat at a set table. The cutlery fell down and when it was moved, no one said that the cutlery had fallen down. Guests left because nothing was available but the 4 guests blocked a table to wait for pizza to take away. We then informed the waitress but it was not exchanged. Therefore no 5 stars. The food was so hot which is a point. It's sad that the team didn't work well together. Despite everything, I'd happily go back, but I'll always wipe the cutlery, who knows what was with it

We had reserved a table for 10 people by phone for Sunday. We happened to be there on Friday - two days before and asked if everything was OK with the reserved table. We discovered that there was no reservation at all. Were very shocked about that. We then made reservations again for Sunday two days later for 10 people. Finally arrived on Sunday and discovered for the second time that there was still no table reserved for us. The staff were lucky, or rather we were lucky, that they only had two tables left to put together. How can it be that we have to reserve a table twice and then there is still no table reserved? I actually don't know how to reserve a table in this restaurant??? That's why we'd rather not do that in the future.

The food was very fine. We had bruchetta, mixed salads, pizza and pasta. The pizzeria was well attended. The waitresses were very friendly, it was just a shame that €14 for service was added to the bill without any prior information. It could also have been a calculation error by the operator. Note: always have the receipts shown. ;)

First of all: the food is excellent and the price-performance ratio is very good in this clubhouse restaurant (Freiburg Tennis Club). Relatively small but nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service is no longer quite up to the old standard and simple questions (which mushrooms are used?) cannot and will not be answered and you have to be patient. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Ordered pizza to be delivered Super easy to order via WhatsApp, very friendly, very quick and uncomplicated, and best of all: incredibly delicious pizza - one of the best we've ever had - the salad and lasagne were also super delicious. We will definitely be ordering regularly from now on :)

The service is super friendly. Despite the small language barrier, you are doing well. The food was great! The pizzas are wonderfully prepared. Price performance is therefore consistent. The only complaint is that we waited 1 1/2 hours for food and starters. The last of us were then informed that they had run out of ingredients and that all we could do was make penne. The fact that a pizzeria runs out of pizza surprises me a little. Overall still satisfied👍🏽

Overall, the visit to the Colosseo was very mixed. We made a special reservation and were there at the time. On site they didn't really know where to put us. The table wasn't even set and was wet. They didn't voluntarily bring us a menu; we had one handed to us from the table next door. Very inattentive service, only one person could take and collect food. I really felt very sorry for the waitresses. In the end we waited over an hour for our food, larger tables got their food before us even though they were there after us. The neighboring table even left at some point because no one came from service for over half an hour. Tables are not numbered and there is no communication between the waitresses... When asked, they got 10 Minutes later the food (after an hour of waiting) and we are 100% sure that the kitchen had forgotten about us. But the food is really, really good. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through and was rather cold when it arrived. Overall, everything was a bit too salty. Ambience really very nice. I really hope that this day was just a blatant exception, because we would love to come back.

We had tobwait a little bit in the beginning, but then we got our drinks. It's a nice place to have a good time and watch some tennis. While we didn't eat there, the food looked delicious. The size of the pizza's were also good The next time I'm there, I'll eat something ;)

I really liked the pizza, it was tasty, fragrant, and varied. Pleasant waiters who carefully follow the customers so that they have everything on the tables. Drinks and food were brought quickly enough. We were there for the first time, but I think we will come often to try other dishes :)

5 stars in all disciplines!!! We have been guests there several times. The pizza is perfect! The antipasti was a delight! In summer, a glass of Prosecco or a glass of rose from the Heinemann winery on the terrace and the sound of tennis balls popping softly :)) - what more could you want!!! Giulia is a wonderful host, her team is very attentive and friendly and a professional is at work in the kitchen! Because we always feel very comfortable there, we celebrated our daughter's wedding there and it was an absolutely successful evening in the Colosseum - thank you very much, dear Giulia, everything was perfect as always.

Spontaneous discovery, food very, very tasty

We had our wedding reception at the Colosseo and it was just as we had imagined. We discussed everything with the nice and helpful owner Giulia and she took all of our wishes into account and implemented them. She also helped us a lot with the decoration and construction and took a lot of weight off of us. We had appetizers and pizza buffet and both were super tasty, fresh and just had that Italian class. We have nothing to complain about the service - they always paid attention to our guests, took orders for drinks quickly and delivered them quickly. So no matter whether it's a "big event" or just a nice meal, we can highly recommend the Colosseo. 11/10

If you love Italian cuisine, you can only eat at this restaurant. The pizza is thin, crispy and well topped, the spaghetti is cooked perfectly and the carbonara is cooked according to the original!! Big recommendation

Very rude staff. Even though I ordered the pizza 1 hour ago, it wasn't ready, they forgot, which was fine with me. But they didn't even apologize to me, even if I had to wait twice as long because of another mistake in making the pizza. Pizza was good, but if this restaurant treats its customers like that, you can't enjoy the food.

First of all, 5 stars for the ability to reserve online. We were here for the second time as a larger group of 15 people including children. Because of the good experience last year, we went here again for dinner. The staff took our somewhat chaotic order very confidently and everything was delivered perfectly. The food was again very tasty! The menu is varied and offers many vegetarian dishes. We'd love to come back.

Ein sehr tolles italienisches Restaurant. Essen ist wirklich super. Ich persönlich kann die Meeresfrüchenudeln sehr empfehlen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und man kann dort sehr gemütlich sitzen und den Abend genießen :)
