The canteen in building 128 at Mercedes-Benz pleasantly surprised me during my internship. Really good food for a canteen, varied selection and decent quality. Perfect for a quick yet tasty meal.
Unfortunately we weren't thrilled.
The diner was full of friends or family of the owner, everyone spoke Turkish, you felt like you were in a kebab shop. Maybe that's why it doesn't taste quite American, which is what you might expect from a diner. Burger was so-so, not really good value for money. There were no alcoholic drinks. Tried it once, you don't have to do it again.
This way you can also drive away guests. Ordered Aperol according to menu and it wasn't available. Franciscan ordered, Erdinger received. Calarmes ordered fried, got steamed with sauce. There was no apology, just brought it. Salad with mainly greens, peppers with core, everything very sweet. And at the end an overpriced bill with the justification that when ordering there was a menu with old prices. Just a rip off, never go there again.
Super easy to call ahead and order, good price, and decent pizza. The person that works there is awesome, very personable and cater to what you want.
All around worth it for easy family night in.
I was just at the playground there and wanted a coffee. There are tables outside that are served. It's 5:21 p.m. The answer we got was “Only from 5:30 p.m..” Then why are the tables served outside?
The first impression is a table full of rubbish at the door.
