Once upon a time, there was a good restaurant! Unfortunately, Hoppe's is no longer what it once was: The meat is of subpar quality! Probably from Müller's mass-produced meat. The onion roast beef was full of tendons, the Burgundy sauce was sloppy and lacking salt. And the spaetzle felt salty. Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be. It hurts to write this, but time has unfortunately run out. That was our last visit to the shop.

Good food at super fair prices, more than enough parking spaces, very friendly service and I personally really like the ambience 😊 So we will definitely come back.

I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. I was there for the first time. The boss and the service specialist took care of us immediately. The restaurant itself is an older building with a corresponding ambience. But the food was excellent. Under no circumstances should you judge the quality of the food from the outside. There were five of us and everyone was thrilled. If you don't believe it, then see for yourself. I give it 4 stars. There is still room for improvement.

We come to Pforzheim regularly and always eat here before we go home. The people are always very friendly and ask exactly what you want. It is then freshly prepared and always tastes great.

A great restaurant, have been going here for years. The service is good, the cuisine is good, you can eat delicious traditional food here, but it's not too rustic, so everyone should find something here. They hit the right flavor nuances. The acoustics should be worked on a bit, it gets loud very quickly and the noise level is unpleasant for sensitive ears. (But would never stop me from not going again) Just some constructive feedback never hurts. The cheese spaetzle is 10 out of 10 <3

Wow! It's been around for 18 years and I've never been there. That's about to change! Such a nice boss, such a great kitchen, and a really cozy atmosphere. Really great 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Food overpriced. Doesn't the service taste like a disaster! Wouldn't ask for drinks, nothing. I complained about my salty pizza, no reaction, nothing. If you wanted to order something there was a cheeky answer saying not now! At 11 p.m. the cheeky one comes with you and you have to pay, we're closed for an hour! Simply cheeky. Never again

The service wasn't that friendly and they couldn't give much information about the dishes. We had pasta made from a Parmesan cheese as a starter, but unfortunately there was no sauce and it just tasted watery. I think €19 per person is overpriced. We wanted to know what went into the beef tartare, but unfortunately the waitress didn't know. And for €32 I think it's a shame that it's prepared in the kitchen and not in front of us. The taste was quite delicious. The classic roast beef with onions tasted okay but for €34... oh well. Nobody was interested in empty glasses, and I think it's a shame we had to let them know that we'd like another glass of wine.

Very good lunch, we meet here from time to time for business lunches, there is plenty of parking nearby.
