We were served very friendly, delicious food and drinks, the courtyard is a dream in the summer

We went for dinner with 15 people. Uncomplicated, friendly, great service, very good food, comfortable seating. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

The Rodensteiner in Pforzheim far exceeded our expectations – we absolutely recommend it! It was our first time here and we had made a reservation, which was a good thing, as the crowds were so busy. The food is excellent; everything was fresh, tasty, and lovingly prepared – exactly as you would expect. We were particularly impressed by the friendly service, which also accommodated special requests – something you don't take for granted. The prices are moderate and offer excellent value for money. The outdoor area, the back garden, and the very clean restrooms also made the stay a pleasant experience. For us, it was the perfect place to celebrate – with a great atmosphere, a fantastic bar, and a team that truly puts their heart and soul into their work.

A very nice café and restaurant. This is my second time there. The first time, I was there for lunch and loved the schnitzel. Yesterday, I was there in the evening and had very good penne. We didn't have a reservation and luckily got a table. The outdoor area looks quite spacious; we were able to sit in the cozy winter garden yesterday. The service was very friendly and quick. I'll try to come back.

Due to a very last-minute change of plans, we spontaneously celebrated our class reunion at Rodensteiner – and we were thrilled. From the easy reservation the day before to the incredibly friendly service (always attentive, but never intrusive!) to the absolutely delicious food, everything was just perfect. With great weather, we got a really nice table in the idyllic backyard with a charming ambiance and enjoyed the evening to the fullest. You didn't just save our class reunion, you helped us create an unforgettable evening – thank you to the entire team! We'll definitely be back! 😃

We come here often and are always very satisfied. We especially recommend the tarte flambée and Maultaschen.

First of all, I think it's good that the location is well attended and "the store is alive." There is also a winter garden. Because the room is almost twice the height, it is very loud. You can then only talk to the people directly next to you. The operator can't do anything about the building structure, right. However, if you are still concerned about the volume, we consider it a criterion not to go. Service is very good, friendly and very attentive. The food is of good quality, in my opinion at increased prices. A day later I happened to eat a comparable salad in another restaurant, but here I ate twice the amount for the same price.

Four of us were there yesterday for food and drinks. Everyone ate something different, all the plates looked great and everyone enjoyed it. Service was also very attentive and nice. Except for the watermelon cocktail, which wasn't tasty, it was a cozy and nice evening. You should make a reservation and hope for a bit of luck parking your car (we did, right across the street).

Be sure to try the cheese spaetzle 🤤

A great restaurant; I've been going here for years. The service is excellent, the food is good, and you can enjoy delicious traditional food without being too rustic, so everyone should find something they like. They hit the right flavor nuances. The acoustics could use some work; it gets loud very quickly, and the noise level is unpleasant for sensitive hearing. (But that would never stop me from going back.) Just some constructive feedback, it never hurts. The cheese spaetzle are 10 out of 10 <3

I always enjoy coming to Rodensteiner. Stylish, cozy atmosphere, friendly service, the breakfast offerings are great, there is the right start to the day for everyone, as are the varied daily specials and dishes, as well as the drinks on the menu are excellent! That's why I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

The food looks great, except for my Amsterdam breakfast. I don't know what was wrong but the pancake was raw and there was no garnish on it at all. But we had a very nice waitress :)

Word of mouth is always the best seal of quality for a restaurant. We weren't disappointed and went home with a happy and satisfied walk after the great meal. Many thanks to the chef and the very courteous staff.

We have been to the Rodensteiner several times and have been satisfied so far. Unfortunately that happened on July 4th. changed - I took my time with the assessment, the first anger is a bad advisor, but the negative impression has not changed so far. We had the day before July 4th. We reserved a low table by the window with one of the managers because there was a person with a disability with us, which was also promised to us. When we showed up for the appointment, we were informed (by the same manager) that a larger company had announced itself and the table had been allocated elsewhere. We were offered a high table by the window - excluded for a person with a disability - or two small ones pushed together, right at the door to the terrace, drafts and cigarette smoke included. We grudgingly accepted this table, what else can you do when you're invited. The food and service were fine. The table we reserved remained unoccupied until the end of our visit... I don't have anything more to say or comment, this review is just intended to provide information.

Attentive and polite, friendly staff. Delicious food. Vegan is no problem - it's best to let us know when ordering, many things on the menu can also be made vegan and you knew what to do with the request. We had delicious fried potatoes with salad. Fair prices. The ambience in the ivy-covered, wall-lined beer garden is wonderful.

Regardless of whether it's breakfast or lunch, I really enjoy being at Rodensteiner. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. An absolute highlight for me is the French breakfast menu. Delicious cheese and fresh fruits. I love it! A clear recommendation from me.

So far we have always been extremely satisfied when it comes to... Cocktails went. We went there for breakfast for the first time. The fried egg was absolutely too raw so that the yolk ran completely over the pancake and was extremely runny when I pierced it, so that even the person opposite me made an irritated comment and the egg white also glistened transparently. The freshly squeezed orange juice (€5.40!) actually didn't taste completely fresh and had a strange taste, which my two companions were able to confirm. When I asked the waitress, who tried very hard and always maintained her friendliness!, kindly on my behalf, as I definitely could hardly drink it, the freshness was confirmed by the “bartender?”, albeit with the absolutely inappropriate obituary (across the bar ), whether I have already brushed my teeth today. I would have liked an offer, for example that they would take it back and maybe offer me something as an alternative to drinking. The waitress, who was still very shy, also said she would ask about this. Instead I just got the inappropriate comment. I stick with it: the drinks in the evening have always been good and the location is well suited for them, but I can't recommend it as a breakfast location.

We come here regularly for lunch and occasionally for cocktails in the evening and are very enthusiastic every time!

Cafe / Bar / Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Obwohl der Laden eher klein ist und Bedienungen da waren, hat man sie doch meistens herwinken müssen um etwas bestellen oder zahlen zu können. Viele Tische stehen nah beieinander sodass ruhige oder diskrete Unterhaltungen nicht möglich sind. Es hat mich gefreut, dass an diesem Tag ein besonderer vegetarischer Flammkuchen mit Feigen angeboten wurde.

Sympathisches Lokal, mit freundlichem Service. Die Küche hat schon Besseres abgeliefert: Pasta (verkocht) Wiener Schnitzel (zu Tode gebraten) Salat (schmeckte "gestrig") Geht insgesamt besser.

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit Wintergarten. Das Essen und der Service waren okay. Bei uns und am Nebentisch wurden teilweise die Essensbestellungen vergessen.

Nachdem wir das Rodensteiner mehrere Jahre nicht mehr auf dem Schirm hatten, warum auch immer, haben wir uns Ende August innerhalb von nur drei Tagen gleich zweimal davon überzeugen lassen, dass man dort immer noch exzellent essen kann. :-)

Gutes Essen freundliches Personal

Wiederholt sehr lecker gegessen, die hausgemachten Maultaschen sind Weltklasse. Hervorragend das Personal,super Service. Auch die Cocktails sind sehr lecker. Gutes Preisleistungverhältnis.

Das Rodensteiner ist eine feste Institution in Pforzheim… im Sommer kann man sehr schön in dem gemütlichen Innenhof im Grünen sitzen, das würde man mitten in der Stadt so gar nicht erwarten. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Speisekarte abwechslungsreich und immer auch durch Gerichte von der Tageskarte ergänzt. Unter der Woche gibt es jeden Tag einen wechselnden Mittagstisch für 9,90 €. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell, so wie man es sich wünscht. Klare Empfehlung 👍🏻

Das Restaurant ist perfekt zu jeder Tagezeit und hat ein tolles Ambiente. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir waren in diesem Jahr erstmalig wieder im Rodensteiner. Unsere Bedingung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Maultaschen war geschmacklich fein, auch den Salat mit Ziegenkäse kann man empfehlen, das Wiener Schnitzel allerdings müsste genaugenommen auf der Kinderkarte als Kinderschnitzel aufgeführt werden.

Lebhafte Location mit eigenem Flair. Gute Flammkuchen, ansprechende Weine, aufmerksamer Service. Nur das Wiener Schnitzel ist von der Größe her, etwas sehr "übersichtlich" . . . .

Wir waren seit sehr langer Zeit ( bestimmt schon 15j nicht mehr dort gewesen) hier. Bedienung super nett. War sehr geduldig bis wir , vor lt Quatschen, endlich Mal was bestellt haben. Trinken kam schnell. Das Essen war vom Geschmack besser als gut. Nur es hätte wärmer sein können. OK Geschmacksache. Aber das Beste war für uns:Görg. Ein Alk- freier Cocktail. Der war echt super lecker. Denke wir werden wieder kommen

Die Karte bietet deftiges mit lokalem Einschlag, Hauptgerichte liegen zwischen 8,50 und 23 Euro. Es gibt ein Frühstücksangebot, sowie einen günstigeren Mittagstisch. Der Service ist weiblich, effizient und meist freundlich. Offenes, langes Haar über den Speisen ist sicherlich nicht jedermanns Geschmack. Das Bauernfrühstück ("3 Eier wahlweise als Rührei, Omlette oder Spiegeleier mit Baguette mit Speck, Schinken oder Mozzarella") zum Frühstück ist eine gute Wahl, auch meine Freunde sind mit ihrer Wahl zufrieden. Die seltsam dünne Grapefruitschorle kann ich nicht empfehlen. Abends sind die Bratkartoffeln ("mit oder ohne Speck und Spiegelei, mit Kräuterquark") exzellent, meine Begleitung hatte mit überraschend geschmacksneutralen "Pasta Garnelen" (Tagliatelle in Tomatenrahmsoße mit Garnelen & Rucola) weniger Glück. Das Essen "Pasta mit Garnelen und Ruccola" war ok. Ich hätte geschmacklich etwas mehr erwartet, vor allem im Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Die Tischnachbarn können hier die Bratkartoffeln mit Spiegeleiern empfehlen, was ich geschmacklich leider nicht beurteilen kann, da ich ja eine andere Wahl getroffen hatte....sieht aber schon bildlich ansprechender aus. Das Lokal ist gut besucht, es empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung.

Sehr gemütliche einladende Location mit super nettem Personal. Das Essensangebot ist sehr abwechslungsreich und zum Teil auch besonders, was ich persönlich sehr mag. Im Sommer gibt es auch eine tolle Sommerterasse im Hinterhof. Super Bar-Restaurant wo man aufjedenfall mal hin gehen sollte!

Ich komme seit Jahren hier her zum Käsespätzle Essen und Honey Bunny Trinken! Die Käsespätzle sind ein Traum! Auch die anderen Gerichte schmecken- wobei ich mich immer wieder für die Käsespätzle entscheide!!
