The creations from the kitchen were phenomenal! Unfortunately, the service, especially from the hosts, leaves something to be desired and lets the very good food fade into the background. As a young couple, we felt unnoticed and unwelcome. There is prejudice here. But the kitchen is excellent!

Man freut sich auf die kleine Weihnachtsfeier mit Freunden aus der Sportgruppe, gute Gespräche und gutes Essen.Wir waren am Mittwoch, 04.12.2024 im Restaurant. Da ich gerne "Wild" esse, habe ich den Markgräfler Rehkeulen-Braten von der Abenkarte ausgewählt. Als das Essen dann serviert wurde, war meine Entäuschung riesengroß. Auf dem Teller war kein Rehkeulen-Braten sondern Rinderbraten!!! Für mich war damit der Abend gelaufen. Als am Nachbartisch auch ein Rehkeulenbraten serviert wurde (übrigens vom Chef des Hauses) wurde mir die Portion nochmals im vorbeigehen gezeigt mit dem Hinweis, das ist unser Rehkeulenbraten. The Kurhaus restaurant and bistro is beautifully located in the spa gardens. You can also sit comfortably on the terrace when the weather is nice. We were there twice, but in the bistro part where there were other guests. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated, but no guests were there at the time. So one door further into the nicely furnished bistro. Nicely furnished and very friendly and courteous young service. Happy to give information about food and more. We once had the daily special of baked chicken with French fries and a salad plate. On another Monday, schnitzel day, various schnitzels, Hamburger Schnitzel and Diavolo Schnitzel. It was freshly prepared and with 2 schnitzels each, very tasty and reasonably priced. Can be recommended.
