The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the dirty placemats spoiled the otherwise positive impression.

When I entered the restaurant, all the staff were very friendly, relaxed, and attentive. Then a man entered the restaurant and spoke to the staff in a very unfriendly, domineering, commanding tone. The staff reacted anxiously, hectically, and intimidated. I, too, found his language, gestures, and facial expressions devoid of any kindness or respect, and he had no idea of ​​human dignity. Going in there and eating there means supporting the livelihood of a contemptuous person. Everyone should be aware of that.

The restaurant is located near the spa gardens and the thermal baths. The food, service, and ambiance all deserve full marks from me, as I'm convinced they deserve it. I can only recommend it.

We went there for dinner and sat on the terrace. Unfortunately, the first thing we noticed was that the placemats weren't particularly clean. We had to wait a long time for our food, even though there was hardly anyone else there. Our special requests for food and intolerances weren't particularly flexible. Therefore, I was rather disappointed with the food. But the service was otherwise fine.

Auf Einladung einer Freundin waren meine Frau und ich nach längerer Abwesenheit mal wieder im Hotel-Restaurant Eden zum Mittagessen. Das geschulte Personal aus fernen Ländern ist äußerst aufmerksam, bedient schnell und versiert und nimmt Extrawünsche entgegen. Die bestellten Getränke (1/4 l Spätburgunder Weißherbst, 1/4 l Weinschorle und 0,4 l Pils) wurden schnell serviert. Meine Frau und deren Freundin entschieden sich für den "Eden-Teller", ein Potpourri aus gebratenen Lachsfiletwürfeln, einer Riesengarnele, einem kleinen Rinderfilet, einem Münstertäler Lammfilet an bunten Blattsalaten, dazu eine Holunder-Vinaigrette und Birnen-Senf (23,90 €). Die Variation machte optisch viel her und mundete großenteils. Zwei Wermutstropfen: Die Variation aus grünen Salaten ist so üppig, dass sie den Rest des Potpourris fast erschlägt. Und: Meine Frau wollte das kleine Rinderfilet à point, also rosa gebraten. Leider war es durchgebraten. Möglicherweise ein Kommunikationsfehler zwischen der Bedienung und dem Küchenpersonal? Ich hatte mich für eine Rinderroulade "Hausfrauenart" (24,50 €) entschieden und wurde bitter enttäuscht. Nichts daran war Hausfrauen-Art. Die eineinhalb Rinderrouladen stammten höchstwahrscheinlich von einem Caterer, denn so viel kann ein versiertes Küchenteam gar nicht falsch machen: Das Fleisch war zäh, trocken und hart. Die Farce bestand aus einem trockenen Brei, in dem Speck, Zwiebeln und Gewürzgurke nicht mehr zu erkennen waren. Die Spätburgundersoße, die in einer Sauciere extra serviert worden war, war eine zähflüssige Pampe. Einzig der Apfelrotkohl und die Rustkal-Rösti schmeckten. Insgesamt finde ich, dass viele Zutaten " to much" sind. Da das Preisniveau im Hotel-Gasthof Eden ziemlich hoch ist (Unsere Freundin zahlte für drei Gerichte und drei Getränke 100 € mit Trinkgeld), muss ich von einer großen Enttäuschung sprechen.

Wir hatten für 18:30 einen Tisch reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Den Salat darf man selber am Buffet holen. Mein Schweinefilet im Speckmantel war sehr saftig.Auf meinen Wunsch bekam ich Kohlrabigemüse dazu. Alles war sehr lecker.

A culinary experience at the Hotel Eden – Bad Krozingen We recently had the pleasure of dining in the restaurant of the Hotel Eden in Bad Krozingen - and we absolutely loved it! As soon as you enter the stylishly furnished restaurant you feel welcome. The ambience is elegant yet cozy, with a pleasant mix of modern furnishings and warm lighting. Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service - the staff was always present without seeming intrusive. A very special occasion made our visit even more unforgettable: it was my wife's birthday, and the restaurant team helped organize this day in a wonderful way. Everything was prepared perfectly and very professionally - from the loving table decorations and bouquet of flowers to the special attention of the staff. As a surprise, there was even a little birthday serenade, which made the evening even more personal and warm. The menu offers a fine selection of regional and international dishes, all freshly prepared. I chose a seasonal menu with a delicious starter just like my wife, followed by a perfectly cooked main course and a heavenly signature dessert. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding and the presentation of the food was a feast for the eyes. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired - an excellent selection of regional wines perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. Overall, I can fully recommend the restaurant at the Hotel Eden in Bad Krozingen. Anyone looking for excellent cuisine, first-class service and a stylish ambience will definitely find what they are looking for here. This restaurant is a perfect choice, especially for special occasions such as birthdays!

I was lucky enough to stay at the Eden Hotel on February 1, 2025 and to go to the hotel restaurant for dinner. I loved the dishes that were served to me, the waiter was adorable and attentive to the customer, an attentive young man like you rarely see, I would come back without hesitation. Man freut sich auf die kleine Weihnachtsfeier mit Freunden aus der Sportgruppe, gute Gespräche und gutes Essen.Wir waren am Mittwoch, 04.12.2024 im Restaurant. Da ich gerne "Wild" esse, habe ich den Markgräfler Rehkeulen-Braten von der Abenkarte ausgewählt. Als das Essen dann serviert wurde, war meine Entäuschung riesengroß. Auf dem Teller war kein Rehkeulen-Braten sondern Rinderbraten!!! Für mich war damit der Abend gelaufen. Als am Nachbartisch auch ein Rehkeulenbraten serviert wurde (übrigens vom Chef des Hauses) wurde mir die Portion nochmals im vorbeigehen gezeigt mit dem Hinweis, das ist unser Rehkeulenbraten. We reserved a table for 4 people on Friday for Sunday. Arrived, no table free. The restaurant manager invited us into the lobby and bought us champagne. Afterwards we had to wait some time at a table that had become vacant until a service came. We ordered and waited a while for the drinks to arrive. Our friend was served his soup, I ordered the menu and didn't get any. About 10 minutes after clearing the soup plate, the waiter told me I could get my salad from the buffet. I informed him that I hadn't received my soup yet. I had to wait another 10 minutes and then got mushroom soup instead of lemongrass soup. In between we weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks. For my main course, the Brussels sprouts were completely overcooked and didn't taste good at all. The dessert was so sweet that I couldn't eat the frozen tiramisu or ice cream. Sorry, I'm disappointed

Wir feierten im Oktober unsere Goldene Hochzeit im Hotel Eden und hätten uns keine bessere Wahl vorstellen können. Der gesamte Abend war perfekt organisiert. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und spürten sofort die entspannte und freundliche Atmosphäre. Die Tischdekoration war wunderschön und stilvoll gestaltet, ganz im Einklang mit dem Anlass. Das Highlight des Abends war zweifellos das 5-Gänge-Menü. Jeder Gang war ein Genuss, von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert. Die Speisen waren kreativ zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und wurden ansprechend serviert. Eine gelungene Familienfeier, die wir alle in schönster Erinnerung behalten werden. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Team vom Hotel Eden und die Fam. Huber für den fantastischen Abend! Fam. Maier

We ate out twice within three days. Both times it was very tasty and visually extremely appealing from the starter to the dessert. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. Out main waiter was not very good and is the main reason for a weak review. Rushed us, lacked friendliness, really just wanted to get us in and out. Felt like he was looking/talking to us like “dumb tourists”. Food was ok, but not great - my roulade was average, my wife’s spaetzle was very good she said, my son’s schnitzel was average. Beers was nice though. Other servers were also very nice (ie. the young lady who brought us drinks and water, the gentleman who brought our meals). Our waiter is the main reason for the poor review. Also no follow up after food was served, no bill (had to hunt him down, but that can be common in many places in Europe).

We have been coming to Bad Krotzingen for years and have always eaten at “Eden” because it was always very good there and the atmosphere was great. Today we stopped by for lunch rather spontaneously and ordered two menu items, a plate of spaghetti with tuna and a salad. Two different service employees served us, one with moderate knowledge of German. They came by twice to double check what we ordered, luckily, both times it would have been wrong. Then, after 15 minutes, there was a greeting from the kitchen, the drinks were still a long time coming. After another 15 minutes the salad arrived. 45 minutes after ordering, I asked if there was a problem in the kitchen, which was answered in the negative. After 55 minutes we decided to leave the restaurant when the boss came to the table with our spaghetti. I also spoke to him and said that we actually wanted to leave now, he reacted a bit annoyed and probably found my complaint inappropriate. The restaurant was about 25% full, so it wasn't an exception. By the way, the spaghetti wasn't good, so I tried it and left everything alone. It's a shame, a good entrepreneur could react differently, we won't be visiting the location again, despite the beautiful garden terrace and the fact that we've always been very satisfied up until today.

One of the best restaurant and hotel in Bad Krozingen, which we have visited several times, near the spa park and the thermal baths, located in a quiet side street, with enough parking spaces. The design of the restaurant terrace is very pretty. The menu is extensive and of the best quality at a very reasonable price. The service is of high quality, always friendly and helpful. As we have seen, many of the guests are repeat offenders who have been coming to the restaurant again and again for years. Hotel guests, many Swiss, are also full of praise here. It is strongly recommended that you make a reservation in advance, especially on weekends. It can be reached on foot through the shady spa park in about 15 minutes from the train station and the city. Conclusion: TOP ADDRESS

The kitchen is a bit more upscale, corresponding to the P/L ratio. There is a great salad buffet. The vegetarian selection is not large, but sufficient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, on our last visit we waited over 1 hour for our food.

Very very average. It is difficult to express an opinion on such restaurants which take advantage of the notoriety of the spa treatment just opposite to attract customers. Dishes waited 45 minutes and the tuna carpacio was frozen. As for the grilled meat, it was tough and inedible. Not looking like a tourist trap...😱 I don't put photos... Me and my girlfriend discovered Eden by accident. Since we were very hungry, we went to the restaurant without a reservation. We received a very friendly welcome and luckily got a table. We ordered veal schnitzel with fries and salad, and I ordered rum steak with fries and salad. You can get your own salad from the buffet with plenty to choose from! Everything was very tasty and tasted excellent. What surprised me wasn't a long wait despite the full house. We will visit this house again.

The whole atmosphere is really really nice. Once we had Chateaubriand, the second time Half board menu and warm trout fillet with fresh spinach. We would like to come again

We reserved a table for lunch on Boxing Day after we explicitly asked for vegetarian dishes. A single main course was offered and not even a vegetable cream soup was on the menu. Only meat or fish lovers could enjoy a Christmas menu. After much back and forth we were able to order. 6 plates were brought by 6 friendly people and then no one from the service staff came to our table. Neither the question as to whether everything fits or whether we would like to have the empty glasses replaced. We sat in front of our empty plates for over half an hour.... We didn't want any more dessert, we just wanted to go home in a bad mood. What's unbelievable is that when I pay €29.90 for a main course, I expect something delicious and not ready-made spaetzle and good service. Once and never again! Very unfortunate.

Wir waren dort mit Freunden essen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Essen ok. Auffallend das Sonderwünsche wie Umbestellung der Beilagen ohne wenn und aber erfüllt werden. Das war sehr gut. Lediglich der Lärmpegel ist bei hoher Auslastung unerträglich.

Erstaunlicherweise gut gefülltes Restaurant trotz sehr langer Bestell- und Wartezeiten. Kein Anzeichen von Frische und Qualität obwohl lokale Gerichte angeboten werden. Ambiente erinnerte mich an die frühen 90er, keine Ahnung ob das gewollt war . Sind aufgrund der Rezessionen dort eingekehrt, woher diese kommen weiss ich nicht. Wir waren 4 Personen zum Essen. Es hat alles wunderbar funktioniert. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, das Salatbufett war ansprechend mit schmackhaften Salaten. Auf den Hauptgang mussten wir zwar etwas länger warten, dafür war alles frisch und super angerichtet sowie geschmacklich prima.

Unser Besuch im Restaurant des Hotel Eden in Bad Krozingen war schlichtweg ein kulinarisches Highlight. Vom ersten Bissen bis zum letzten Dessertlöffel waren wir schlichtweg begeistert. Die Vitello Tonnato als Vorspeise war ein perfekter Einstieg. Das zarte Kalbfleisch kombiniert mit der köstlichen Thunfischauce war ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Die geschmorten Kalbsbäckchen mit Kartoffelpüree und Karottengemüse waren ein Traum. Die Bäckchen waren auf den Punkt zubereitet, unglaublich zart und schmolzen geradezu auf der Zunge. Die begleitende Soße war ein Gedicht und das Kartoffelpüree rundete die Mahlzeit meisterhaft ab. Zum krönenden Abschluss wählten wir das Dessert - Dreierlei Sorbets und gebackene Bananen. Ein wahres Fest für die Sinne. Die Sorbets waren erfrischend und die gebackenen Bananen einfach super lecker. Der Service am Tisch verdient besondere Anerkennung. Das Team war äußerst zuvorkommend, höflich und aufmerksam, was zu einem rundum gelungenen Abend beitrug. Insgesamt bietet das Restaurant im Hotel Eden in Bad Krozingen eine hervorragende Küche und ein unvergleichliches kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ein Besuch hier ist definitiv jeden Umweg wert. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Ein sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit großen, sehr sauberen Zimmern. Beim Frühstück ist die Auswahl groß, das Brot ist frisch und die Brötchen sind knackig. Das Abendessen ist hervorragend und sehr reichlich. Und wenn man hier häufiger war, freut man sich auf das wunderbare Dessert mit dem Schriftzug in Schokolade.

Wir hatten kurzfristig angerufen, um für die kommende Nacht zu reservieren. Das klappte gut, war aber ein barrierefreies Zimmer für Rollstuhlfahrer und vor allem sanitärmäßig sehr ungemütlich, wenn man es nicht benötigt. Service hervorragend. Ambiente (außen) gemütlich. Frühstück empfehlenswert. Abendessen: das zum Spargel gereichte Wiener Schnitzel war nicht gut. Paniert, in der Pfanne gebraten und entsprechend trocken. Sollte eigentlich schwimmend in Fett (Blasen werfend, nicht frittiert!) in der Pfanne ausgebacken werden. Ansonsten war das Essen in Ordnung.

Unser Essen hat über ne Std gedauert, ganz schön lange für die Mittagszeit, zumal nicht viel los war. Tagesessen preislich ok, jedoch nichts Besonderes (Putengeschnetzeltes in Currysauce), war ziemlich fad. Das andere Gericht (Wurstsalat, Bratkartoffeln, Bibiliskäse und Fleisch) war leider auch nicht besser, der Teller war völlig überladen und nicht schön angerichtet. Können wir leider daher nicht weiterempfehlen. Schön war die mit bunten Blumen gesäumte Terrasse, Personal war freundlich.

Eine wunderbare Terrasse, sehr freundliches Servicepersonal, ein Ort mit sehr zivilen Preisen und einem guten Angebot. Einfach angenehm. zum wohlfühlen.

Waren gestern Abend dort beim Essen, alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Kommen gerne wieder.

Nous passons toujours un beau moment dans ce restaurant! Nous nous régalons avec les asperges et le service est vraiment top. Ils sont très généreux et très sympathiques ! Nous venons chaque année.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 11 Personen im Eden. Das Essen (viele verschiedene Gerichte) war sehr ansprechend zubereitet, wurde zeitgleich serviert und es hat allen geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat dadurch zur guten Stimmung beigetragen. Es war ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt, wobei das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gestimmt hat.
