Palmyra in Bad Krozingen

Wir sind per Zufall in der heißen Mittagszeit im "Palmira" gelandet und hatten erst mal Schwierigkeiten, uns für ein Gericht zu entscheiden, weil die gesamte Auswahl sehr verlockend ist. Mein Tajin-Lamm hat hervorragend geschmeckt, die trockenen Pflaumen und die Kichererbsen passen gut dazu. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, man hat sich die Zeit genommen, auf alle unsere Fragen zu antworten, und kleine persönliche Änderungswünsche wurden tadellos umgesetzt. Mein Highlight beim Dessert war das Mokka-Kardamom- Eis mit Orangenstückchen. Wenn man nach dem Essen glücklich aufsteht und sich überlegt, was man beim nächsten Mal ausprobieren möchte, dann ist es etwas empfehlenswertes. Dankeschön!

Wir haben einen schönen Abend im Palmyra verbracht. Sehr schönes Ambiente drinnen wie draußen. Leider hat und das Wetter einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht, weshalb wir nach der Vorspeise nach drinnen umgezogen sind. Neben leckeren Cocktails (mit und ohne Alkohol), einem Gruß aus der Küche und einer sehr gelungenen Vorspeise war das Highlight die Tajine zum Hauptgang. Beide Soßen haben noch gebrodelt so dass man sich noch ein bisschen zusammen reißen musste. Wir wurden aber nicht enttäuscht. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!

Tolles Ambiente....tolles Essen

Wir waren heute Das erste Mal hier essen da wir in der Nähe im Hotel übernachten. Ambiente war einfach super schön. Die Kellner auch sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat uns wirklich sehr überrascht, weil es wirklich durchgehend mega lecker war und einfach wirklich richtig schön angerichtet wurde. Es wurde immer wieder geschaut ob alles okay ist und es gab paar Aufmerksamkeiten zwischen durch. Preis Leistung war absolut top. Gerne wieder. Das einzige was schade ist, daß die Auswahl für alkoholfreie koktails sich auf 2 beschränkt.

Essen schmeckt gut aber hatten sonntags keine Kartoffeln mehr obwohl fast jedes Gericht mit Kartoffeln ist

Ich kann alle positiven Bewertungen nur bestätigen. Die Lamm Tajine war so zart, dass man sie mit dem Löffel essen konnte. Schön fanden wir auch das Ambiente und Gestaltung des Restaurants.

Es ist schon einige Wochen her, dass wir Bad Krozingen besucht haben, aber ich erinnere mich noch gerne an die Besuche im Palmyra. An beiden Abenden haben wir uns die leckeren Köstlichkeiten und den hervorragenden Service gegönnt. Jederzeit wieder!! Viele Grüße aus Köln, macht weiter so!!

Schönes und angenehmes Ambiente in den neuen Räumen🙂. Service war prompt u. aufmerksam. Wer gerne orientalisch isst, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben😉. Geschmacklich war alles top und wunderbar angerichtet. Das Lokal ist wirklich zu empfehlen!

22€ für Hähnchen das wie Tiefkühl-Pute schmeckt. Dazu nicht zu viel Spätzle und in der Pilzrahmsauce war genau eine Champignon Scheibe. Ein kleiner Salat war im Preis inbegriffen. Rechnungspreis wurde am Tisch genannt ohne Rechnung Quittung anzubieten - kennt man höchstens von nem Imbiss und gebeten Bar zu bezahlen.

Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen war ich sehr gespannt auf das Palmyra. Das Baba Ganoush war gleich ein Dämpfer: nicht schlecht, hatte aber schon weit aromatischere. Auch das Hündchen Curry war eher langweilig. Sehr gut das Baklava mit Zitronensorbet und Ananas, womit wir wenigstens einen guten Abschluss hatten. Der arabische Kaffee mit Kardamom war allerdings der Tiefpunkt, da total dünn. Die Bedienung war wenig engagiert.

Essen und Trinken in dezent elegant orientalischem Ambiente. Auch Veganer werden fündig. Außerdem abwechslungsreiche Getränke ohne Alkohol. Wir waren allesamt sehr zufrieden.

Ich kenne es schon seit vielen Jahren, aber seit dem Umzug hat es seinen Charme verloren.

Ein absolutes Top Restaurant. Ich gehen wirklich oft essen und hier passt alles. Ein Gruß des Hauses. Ruhige Lage. Toller Service. Warme Teller und gute Portionen. Ein Schnaps zum Abrunden Jede Speise auf der Karte klang interessant. Wir waren dort zu dritt mit einer gezielten Tapasplatte und 3 Hauptspeisen und haben 120€ bezahlt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder

First time there. Very tasty appetizer platter with a wide selection. The lamb and beef were cooked to perfection, and the vegetable selection was excellent, especially the stew. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were even given a welcome snack and a farewell schnapps to take with us. If we're ever back in this far south, we'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Based on a recommendation, we visited Palmyra and weren't disappointed. Because we enjoyed it so much and wanted to try other dishes from the menu, we went back a few days later, and it was well worth it again! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We noticed this immediately, and it contributed significantly to our feeling so comfortable there. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were just right. Even though it was busy, everything arrived very quickly. I have to deduct one star for the atmosphere. The restaurant is lovely and cozy. However, I found the noise level on Saturday evening, as it became increasingly crowded, to be too high. At one point, I just wanted to get out of there. This is probably due to the layout of the room, which is rather narrow and long. All in all, though, we would gladly return to Palmyra and recommend it to others!

Highly recommended. Super delicious, authentic food that, unlike many other Middle Eastern restaurants, is very reasonably priced. The amuse-bouche, the appetizers, and the meat in the main course were all absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful evening with excellent, attentive, and very friendly service. Our only criticism is the LED lighting under the counter and on some of the tables; it's simply unnecessary in such a beautiful restaurant. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be back.

Good, exceptional cuisine. Friendly service, although sitting around the corner means you're a bit out of sight. The food is oriental, but could be a bit spicier. The prices are a bit too high. The music is too intrusive.

We had a wonderful evening in a great, modern setting with incredibly delicious food. From the appetizer platter to the steak and lamb tagine to the oriental tiramisu, and the attentive service made it a perfect evening. We'll definitely be back!

Very classy!!! 10/10 We celebrated our mother's birthday with the family today, and it was a simply wonderful evening. It's a great place to gather for special occasions, and you won't be disappointed – the team is very attentive and respectful! Very child-friendly. We were there with our 6-month-old baby and two other children, ages 6 and 9. Everything was super relaxed. See you next time ^^

My wife and I have been regulars for years and continue to enjoy coming back. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious. The staff is very attentive. My only minor criticism: the noise level behind the counter was sometimes disturbing. Perhaps this could be improved.

Everything perfect! Lamb and chicken breast tagine very tasty

Hello, there were three of us there for lunch. As a starter we had the "7 delicacies - tabbouleh, hummus, baba ganoush, labneh, baked potatoes, fattush, tempura cauliflower". The starter came to our table beautifully presented on a long tray. We were introduced to the individual starters and given a basket with different types of bread, including oriental variations. Every single starter was completely convincing with its taste. For the main courses we ordered "schnitzel - oriental style", it was spicy and cooked to perfection. The sauce and salad rounded off the dish in a balanced way. The second main course “lamb marinated with rosemary” was served hot from the oven in the tagine. The lamb was prepared until tender, with a sauce made from chickpeas, broad beans, broccoli and dried plums. The sauce was rounded off with herbs and spices. The best lamb dish I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The third main course "Falafel" was served with salad and tarator sauce (sesame paste and yogurt). The falafel was spicy and fluffy on the inside and tender and crispy on the outside. We also ordered homemade lemonade (pomegranate, elderberry and date). The lemonade was pleasantly fruity and not overly sweet. For dessert, we were served sorbet variations (lemon, mango, cassis) with fresh yoghurt with small pieces of fruit and a fine crumble as a topping. The sorbet was very creamy and silky smooth. On the other hand we had "Baklawa - with mocha cardamom ice cream". The baklawa had a delicate bite and was pleasantly sweet on point. The mocha cardamom ice cream rounded off the dessert perfectly. The desserts were highlighted by black tea with fresh mint, although neither black tea nor mint was in the foreground. The location is very clean, bright and very attractively decorated. The ambience invites you to feel good and linger, to which the calm and relaxing background music contributes. The service was unobtrusive, friendly and always there when you needed it. It felt like you were on a short vacation, the Palmyra is a real insider tip for us and certainly a highlight in the gastronomy in Bad Krozingen. Definitely worth a visit again and again!

We have eaten here several times and were impressed by the friendliness and quality of the meals. Since we are meat and fish eaters, we haven't been able to judge the vegetarian dishes yet This time we had two vegetarians with us who were also very enthusiastic about everything. I was here with my mother and my boyfriend and we came here through the recommendation of a friend. The ambience, service and food were really top. It's been a really long time since I've been this happy with my food and I eat vegan. There is only a small selection of vegan food but it is very, very tasty!!

Very disappointing... Price/performance not at all consistent, not tasty, quite the opposite and it was very cold there. I really needed my coat during the stay! Not recommended.

The 2 stars only came about because, as an older woman at the table, I was the last person asked about my wishes. That's actually how it should be in gastronomy: women first, depending on their age, men last. I'm experienced in gastronomy myself, so I thought it would be a tip to make something nicer.

Wir waren spontan da, gegen 21 Uhr. Der Kellner informierte uns sofort, dass wir nichts mehr zu Essen bekommen würden. Das war für uns Ok - also haben wir nur etwas getrunken. Leider wurde es dann ziemlich ungemütlich. 2 Tische weiter saß eine größere Gesellschaft, die sich nach und nach reduzierte. Die Reaktion der Bedienung: Es wurde nach und nach umgestellt, z. B. als ein Tisch frei war, da die Gesellschaft zusammenrückte, stellte man den freien Tisch wieder separat und deckte ihn bereits für den nächsten Tag ein. Die Raumhöhe war sehr hoch, was das Lokal ungemütlich wirken ließ. Das Beste war die Wanddekoration. Unser Fazit - 1 Besuch reicht....

Nice experience. I had baba ghano and a tagine (be careful: very hot at the beginning), and both were very tasty. The seating is very nice, the atmosphere is reserved, and the service is very good. I'd love to come back.

What an experience! The best of syrian kitchen but harmonic with my german tastebuds. We were greet with a little appetizer from the kitchen and two very friendly and attentive servers. Very chic but lovely atmosphere. Definitely try the different appetizers (but be careful the meal size is big)
