In my opinion the best kebab in Cloppenburg! The chicken is very tasty and, despite “special requests”, I have never gotten the wrong kebab from you. Meat, sauces and salad always taste fresh, no matter what time of day it is. Absolutely recommended 👍

Lunch was good, unfortunately about small portions

We dined as a couple on 16/10/24. The restaurant is small and quiet. It is run by Daniela and Udo Knörlein, with Daniela handling serving and front of the house and Udo in the kitchen. Daniela was delightful, attentive and made an excellent recommendation when we requested help with choosing a German wine to accompany our meal. We chose the 5 course meal which on that evening was: SIGNATURE DISH-KOJI CARROT | AMAZAKE | CRESS BEETROOT | KALE | BASIL | CEREALS PUMPKIN | RADISH | BUTTERMILK | SMOKE SCALLOP | BRANDADE | LINSEED FRANCONIAN WAGYU SHORTRIBS|POINTED CABBAGE | POTATO | MIDZLE CHEESE, CHEESE, CHEESE | PEPPERS | FIGS PEPPER | PEAR | TARRAGON The presentation was attractive, the portions were small but reasonable, and in keeping with this type of restaurant. The courses exhibited Udo's talent in the kitchen. A charming evening and a recommended experience.

We ate there while passing through with the family in the summer. The dishes were solid, but what was more important was the owner, who was exceptionally nice and, above all, child-friendly. We would definitely recommend the bistro.

Very friendly waiter, otherwise unfortunately a failure. We waited 45 minutes for the food, the pasta (certainly not homemade as advertised) was absolutely average, Caesar salad with fried chicken was of really poor quality (for 22 euros), the burger was okay, but unfortunately only came when the other guests were already finished... overall very disappointing for the quality standards we set ourselves...

We went to the Marktschänke for the first time today and were thrilled. Starting with the food, which was fresh and very good, to the staff, who were friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

I had the Hilde burger with double beef and wedges. Everything tasted great. A nice, clean and modern restaurant. Good service.

A very nice restaurant. The owners were very friendly and accommodating both when making the reservation over the phone and during the visit. The menu is very extensive and there is something for everyone. (Fish, meat, vegetarian and not necessarily just fondue) Definitely worth a visit.

Good to find. Located right at an intersection. Super nice host, serves himself, is always attentive to the visitors, even with funny interludes. The meal here with game was super delicious. Normal waiting time for food. We'd love to come back!!

This feudal property is hidden away on the outskirts of town. The extensive park with the hotel/restaurant is reminiscent of times at the end of the 19th century. Well maintained. The furnishings inside adapt wonderfully to the conditions on the outside. The restaurant's service is courteous and discreet. The dishes are deliciously prepared. Overall a very cozy atmosphere.

Exceptional food. Enjoyment at the highest level. Flavor explosion. It's a shame that no sommelier was present to advise on a suitable wine pairing.
