Henrietta - Pizza Napoletana in Bamberg

The pizza was delicious. One of the best pizzas in Bamberg. Very good value for money. The drinks were also reasonably priced.

We had a Margherita pizza to go. It came with a little garlic oil on top. It was a very tasty pizza. The price was completely reasonable for a Neapolitan pizza. The service staff and the pizza chefs were very friendly. However, we should make a reservation in the evening; it was full, and that was on a typical Wednesday.

The restaurant impresses with truly excellent pizza; the truffle pizza is especially recommended; the flavors are perfectly balanced. The dough they use is simply top-notch; no other pizza in Bamberg can compare, in my opinion. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. Although it was very busy on a weekday evening, I was spontaneously seated at the bar and received excellent service. I had a really nice chat with the barmaid; the service was generally very communicative, really nice. It can get a bit noisy in the evenings, but that's understandable given the crowds. Therefore, I strongly recommend making a reservation, even during peak weekday hours. I was alone this time and was lucky that the bar was still free. Overall, truly excellent food, great service, and a pleasant atmosphere. A definite recommendation :)

The perfect end to a short trip! After a friendly welcome from the waitress, we were shown a lovely, shady spot. Delicious arancini as an appetizer brought back memories of our last vacation in Sicily. And then came the pizza... Whether it was the crispy dough from the stone oven or the delicious toppings made with high-quality ingredients: an absolute revelation! The ambiance of the restaurants, the atmosphere among the staff, and the relaxed service clearly contributed to the overall experience. We'll definitely be back again if we're ever in Bamberg again!

Personally, I think they have the best pizza in Bamberg! Sure, the pizza isn't the cheapest, but it tastes excellent. I really enjoy eating there with my daughter and am already looking forward to the next time! The staff is always friendly and accommodating!

We've been here several times and have been impressed every time! The food—whether salads, pasta, or especially the pizza—is fantastic. Everything is fresh, high-quality, and incredibly delicious. The staff also deserves high praise: always friendly, attentive, and with a smile. They accommodate requests flexibly, so guests feel completely at home. Modern ambiance, with lovely outdoor seating in the summer and cozy indoors in the winter. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation; it's often difficult to get a table spontaneously. This restaurant is an absolute favorite for us—we're always happy to come back!

After we sat down outside, we were unfortunately forgotten. The waitress apologized and offered us an espresso on the house. It seemed very hospitable. The pizza was very special (The Goat) and well prepared. The dough also had a very distinctive flavor, which made the pizza stand out for me. All in all, I highly recommend the restaurant for its ambiance, hospitality, and unique dough, even if the combination of ingredients in the pizza wasn't my cup of tea. I'd gladly go back!

The pizzas are very good! You can also sit outside. Unfortunately, the lamb's lettuce in my tuna salad wasn't that fresh and was hidden under the other salads. The staff is very friendly and service-oriented. I'd be happy to come back.

Wow! The best pizza I've had in a long time. The appetizer alone was an 11 out of 10. But the pizza was the ultimate culinary delight. Service could have been a bit faster, though; there were a lot of people standing around, but when you needed someone, there was no one there.

If you're looking for unusual dishes, this is the place for you, but you'll have to pay accordingly. Overall, we enjoyed it and the food was delicious. However, there's not really a sense of Italian flair.

There were four of us at Henrietta. Two pizzas were really good, with a balanced flavor and pleasantly light. The other two, however, seemed less finely seasoned and rather over-the-top; not quite in the typical relaxed Italian style. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant: not too loud, the music was harmonious, and the service was friendly. All in all, it's worth a visit, but the quality of the pizzas fluctuates somewhat, and the price is rather high. Unfortunately, two of us had to abandon our selections because they were already sold out.

We ordered salads, they were good, and the chicken was juicy. We also ordered pasta alla zozzona, and it wasn't fully cooked—VERY, VERY al dente. We asked the waitress about it; she asked the chef and said it's always like that and returned the plate to us. We said we weren't eating it, and she took the plate to the kitchen. The plate of pasta came back to us in a hot plate, the pasta a bit softer. We were told the pasta had been recooked, but it had only been heated, which is why the plate was very hot. After speaking with the "boss," she informed us that the pasta is cooked according to time and isn't tasted, and that's how it's prescribed by the owners. She also said that it's mandatory to cook the pasta more than al dente. We were very disappointed; she didn't even offer a discount. The price of the pasta was €16.50. I wouldn't eat here again. It's surprising that uncooked food is served. Service was ok, but they informed us 45 minutes in advance that our table was still reserved, which was tantamount to being thrown out.

Went there for dinner with a group. We had two separate tables. The first table got their food relatively quickly. The second table had to wait forever for their food, even for the appetizer. The bruschetta was delicious 😋 The pizza dough was good, but the topping was tasteless. It wasn't just on my salami pizza, but on the others as well. Too bad 😒 The atmosphere is good, but unfortunately, the lights flickered and kept going off and on, which was a bit annoying. I don't need to go there again.

The pizzas are really delicious. The price-performance ratio is good. Only last time we ordered a lasagna, which was also really delicious, but the portion was really small. A woman at the next table also had the lasagna, and it was twice the size. At almost €16, something like that shouldn't happen. We told the server that. She did ask if she should bring us anything else, but we had all already finished eating. Please note that the portions are fairly equal.

The best vegan pizza for miles around! I'm always happy to drive half an hour for it. Hopefully, there will be a larger selection of vegan pizzas in the future, including those with meat substitutes ☺️

(Name omitted) Although, as a pizza fan, I've been to countless restaurants, I was impressed here and claim it was the best pizza ever. Great flavor and fantastic crust. The salad was also exceptional. If I lived nearby, I'd have a new regular pizzeria. The service was also friendly and excellent.

I expected more from the pizza. Maybe because I'm currently obsessed with Neapolitan pizza. The pizza was good, but unfortunately it arrived lukewarm. After about a quarter of it, it was already rather cold. Top-notch service and atmosphere.

The pizza here is by far the best in Bamberg – highly recommended! The tiramisu for dessert is also a real highlight and perfectly rounds off the meal. Overall, I give the restaurant a solid 9 out of 10. Only the sometimes long wait times cost it the last star. Nevertheless, I always enjoy coming back – it's a real favorite spot in the city for me. :)

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the description doesn't quite match the taste. There's no menu at all for children. The kids wanted Fanta, but unfortunately, it's not available there. The service was a bit disorganized. When I asked if one of the pizzas was spicy, she said no. When I pointed out at the checkout that it was, she said she would have ordered it without it. In my opinion, the prices are disproportionate to the quality and service.

Super delicious Neapolitan pizza. Friendly staff and a lovely ambiance. Vegetarians are also well catered for! I recommend ordering the arancini as a starter and a pizza and the pesto trio for dipping as a main course. You can't go wrong with the Italian set meal for dessert either 😉 *update 06/16/25: Unfortunately, we were turned away last time due to overcrowding, despite having free tables.

The best pizza place in Bamberg! I visited at 6pm on a weekend and was worried because there were no people outside, but the inside was packed. I ordered the highly recommended savage garden and it was as delicious as the rumors said! The pizza dough was very chewy and not salty, and the basil paste was just right. However!! If you are not a vegetable lover, I think the meat menu would be better. I drooled while looking at the meat pizza ordered at the next table..ㅠㅠ There is a free bathroom inside the store and they accept credit cards!

A cozy evening at Henrietta in spring 2025. We spontaneously stopped by on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. The design and lighting create a welcoming impression. The service was super friendly and took our order, even after a slight wait. They also answered questions in detail and offered recommendations. Unfortunately, it was very busy that evening, and the staff couldn't quite keep up. The menu is very extensive and also offers many variations of vegetarian and vegan dishes. A clear recommendation is the Neapolitan pizza, which is prepared in a stone oven right in the dining room. This is not only an eye-catcher, but also shows how quickly and freshly the pizzas are prepared. The drinks menu also features a great selection of regional products; I recommend the homemade non-alcoholic lemonade, which tasted very good and wasn't drowning in sugar. Overall, a great evening at Henrietta. The Neapolitan pizza is highly recommended, and the atmosphere is inviting. Unfortunately, the interior is quite noisy when fully booked due to the small space and the large number of seats. We recommend the outdoor area when it's open on warmer days. Herausragendes Essen, herausragendes Personal und herausragendes Ambiente. Wir hatten die wahrscheinlich herausragendste Pizza Bamberg mit herausragenden Nudeln. Besonders das herausragende Tiramisu war ein echtes Highlight!

First, I'd like to praise the really friendly and attentive service! It was absolutely perfect. The pizzas were also very tasty. The "Insalata Tonno" was so-so... there was a lot of it, but unfortunately it was mostly green. There were only three small balls of mozzarella on it and two cherry tomatoes. A lot of tuna, but otherwise almost only green salad. For €17, I expect more. The bread that came with it was delicious. The restrooms were really bad 😳 One of them couldn't be used anymore, or rather, because it was so dirty, four women were already waiting for the second one. But that one also left a lot to be desired. The paper towels by the sink were also empty. Somehow, you expect a bit more "ambiance" in a place like this. Overall, a bit pricey for the dishes served. We paid €30 per person for a drink, a standard dish, and a small Italian place setting.

It was so nice to eat here, even though I was alone. Super nice service and really delicious cuisine. You can watch it being prepared if you want. There is a mixed audience on site. Many families with children but also just couples. I can only recommend it. When I'm back in Bamberg I will definitely visit again. Keep it up. Best regards

Schönes Lokal direkt am Wasser gelegen. Es gibt Möglichkeit außen zu sitzen an Weinfässern, im bestuhlten Aussenbereich oder innen. Publikum war bei meinem Besuch am Abend gemischt. Für Gruppen, Pärchen oder alleine eine schöne Location. Sehr nettes Personal. Essen sehr lecker und preislich fair. Hatte Salat und Pizzabrot mit Rosmarin (sehr fein)

Hello everyone, we go to Henrietta regularly Dinner. We just love the pizza there. So as a starter we can highly recommend the Antipasti Henrietta. If you are in Summer sitting on the terrace is simply a dream. Just very relaxed.

Absolutely recommended! The best Neapolitan pizza I've had in a long time! Had the “Fat Bastard” pizza - absolutely brilliant - perfectly fluffy edge and a really intense taste. As a starter there were three types of arancini – really tasty and also highly recommended! The service was also super friendly and attentive - you're happy to spend a few euros more. I'll definitely be back!

I had the BeeStong pizza which was a bit burnt but really tasty! In terms of taste, they really didn't promise too much, but the price for the pizza was simply too high when you consider the "material used" (simply dough, tomato sauce, cheese and five wafer-thin slices of salami).

A great restaurant in itself with delicious pizzas and a lovely terrace. Unfortunately, the service is very poor. At these prices, the service should be very good! (Lasagna, for example, costs €17!). After ordering drinks, the waitress suddenly mentioned that we could only order pizza, as all other dishes would take longer than an hour. As a customer, you expect to be informed of this when you are seated! We didn't want pizza! Not even bruschetta was available. The table next to us canceled their salad due to the very long wait, but when they wanted to leave, they still got it. Unfortunately, the waitresses were completely overwhelmed. The service at the restaurant henrii next door is worlds better!

We first became aware of Henrietta through the program “My Local, Your Local”. Today we visited the Henrietta and we were absolutely happy. As a starter we ate a Vitello Tonnato, it tasted exactly how I imagine this dish to be. But most of all we were excited about the pizzas, we had a good view of how the pizzas were prepared. And what can I say, the dough is unique. We have never had such a tasty pizza before, we were simply speechless at how delicious it tasted. We ordered the “Bee Sting” & “Prosciutto” pizzas. Finally, we ate a Tiramisu Pistacchio, which tasted just as breathtaking as if we were in Italy. Overall, we are very pleased with our visit to Henrietta and will definitely come back.

Finally a pizzeria that understands that good pizza dough isn't just conjured up out of thin air - but rather from 72 hours of patience, love and probably a secret ritual under the full moon. The dough? So fluffy that for a moment I thought I was biting into a cloud that grew up in a brick oven. But be careful! Anyone expecting a normal Italian pizza here will be disappointed, because this is not a plain piece of dough with toppings, but a revelation in a round shape. Neapolitan perfection! If you don't appreciate it, you should probably just keep eating frozen pizza. I am seriously considering moving my residence near this pizzeria. Or at least set up a tent in front of the entrance. Absolute recommendation!
