The pizza here is by far the best in Bamberg – highly recommended! The tiramisu for dessert is also a real highlight and perfectly rounds off the meal. Overall, I give the restaurant a solid 9 out of 10. Only the sometimes long wait times cost it the last star. Nevertheless, I always enjoy coming back – it's a real favorite spot in the city for me. :)

Super delicious Neapolitan pizza. Friendly staff and a lovely ambiance. Vegetarians are also well catered for! I recommend ordering the arancini as a starter and a pizza and the pesto trio for dipping as a main course. You can't go wrong with the Italian set meal for dessert either 😉 *update 06/16/25: Unfortunately, we were turned away last time due to overcrowding, despite having free tables.

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the description doesn't quite match the taste. There's no menu at all for children. The kids wanted Fanta, but unfortunately, it's not available there. The service was a bit disorganized. When I asked if one of the pizzas was spicy, she said no. When I pointed out at the checkout that it was, she said she would have ordered it without it. In my opinion, the prices are disproportionate to the quality and service.

The best pizza place in Bamberg! I visited at 6pm on a weekend and was worried because there were no people outside, but the inside was packed. I ordered the highly recommended savage garden and it was as delicious as the rumors said! The pizza dough was very chewy and not salty, and the basil paste was just right. However!! If you are not a vegetable lover, I think the meat menu would be better. I drooled while looking at the meat pizza ordered at the next table..ㅠㅠ There is a free bathroom inside the store and they accept credit cards!

A cozy evening at Henrietta in spring 2025. We spontaneously stopped by on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. The design and lighting create a welcoming impression. The service was super friendly and took our order, even after a slight wait. They also answered questions in detail and offered recommendations. Unfortunately, it was very busy that evening, and the staff couldn't quite keep up. The menu is very extensive and also offers many variations of vegetarian and vegan dishes. A clear recommendation is the Neapolitan pizza, which is prepared in a stone oven right in the dining room. This is not only an eye-catcher, but also shows how quickly and freshly the pizzas are prepared. The drinks menu also features a great selection of regional products; I recommend the homemade non-alcoholic lemonade, which tasted very good and wasn't drowning in sugar. Overall, a great evening at Henrietta. The Neapolitan pizza is highly recommended, and the atmosphere is inviting. Unfortunately, the interior is quite noisy when fully booked due to the small space and the large number of seats. We recommend the outdoor area when it's open on warmer days. First, I'd like to praise the really friendly and attentive service! It was absolutely perfect. The pizzas were also very tasty. The "Insalata Tonno" was so-so... there was a lot of it, but unfortunately it was mostly green. There were only three small balls of mozzarella on it and two cherry tomatoes. A lot of tuna, but otherwise almost only green salad. For €17, I expect more. The bread that came with it was delicious. The restrooms were really bad 😳 One of them couldn't be used anymore, or rather, because it was so dirty, four women were already waiting for the second one. But that one also left a lot to be desired. The paper towels by the sink were also empty. Somehow, you expect a bit more "ambiance" in a place like this. Overall, a bit pricey for the dishes served. We paid €30 per person for a drink, a standard dish, and a small Italian place setting.

It was so nice to eat here, even though I was alone. Super nice service and really delicious cuisine. You can watch it being prepared if you want. There is a mixed audience on site. Many families with children but also just couples. I can only recommend it. When I'm back in Bamberg I will definitely visit again. Keep it up. Best regards

Exceptionally good pizza with "non-standard" toppings.

Schönes Lokal direkt am Wasser gelegen. Es gibt Möglichkeit außen zu sitzen an Weinfässern, im bestuhlten Aussenbereich oder innen. Publikum war bei meinem Besuch am Abend gemischt. Für Gruppen, Pärchen oder alleine eine schöne Location. Sehr nettes Personal. Essen sehr lecker und preislich fair. Hatte Salat und Pizzabrot mit Rosmarin (sehr fein)

Absolutely recommended! The best Neapolitan pizza I've had in a long time! Had the “Fat Bastard” pizza - absolutely brilliant - perfectly fluffy edge and a really intense taste. As a starter there were three types of arancini – really tasty and also highly recommended! The service was also super friendly and attentive - you're happy to spend a few euros more. I'll definitely be back!

I had the BeeStong pizza which was a bit burnt but really tasty! In terms of taste, they really didn't promise too much, but the price for the pizza was simply too high when you consider the "material used" (simply dough, tomato sauce, cheese and five wafer-thin slices of salami).

A great restaurant in itself with delicious pizzas and a lovely terrace. Unfortunately, the service is very poor. At these prices, the service should be very good! (Lasagna, for example, costs €17!). After ordering drinks, the waitress suddenly mentioned that we could only order pizza, as all other dishes would take longer than an hour. As a customer, you expect to be informed of this when you are seated! We didn't want pizza! Not even bruschetta was available. The table next to us canceled their salad due to the very long wait, but when they wanted to leave, they still got it. Unfortunately, the waitresses were completely overwhelmed. The service at the restaurant henrii next door is worlds better!

We first became aware of Henrietta through the program “My Local, Your Local”. Today we visited the Henrietta and we were absolutely happy. As a starter we ate a Vitello Tonnato, it tasted exactly how I imagine this dish to be. But most of all we were excited about the pizzas, we had a good view of how the pizzas were prepared. And what can I say, the dough is unique. We have never had such a tasty pizza before, we were simply speechless at how delicious it tasted. We ordered the “Bee Sting” & “Prosciutto” pizzas. Finally, we ate a Tiramisu Pistacchio, which tasted just as breathtaking as if we were in Italy. Overall, we are very pleased with our visit to Henrietta and will definitely come back.

Finally a pizzeria that understands that good pizza dough isn't just conjured up out of thin air - but rather from 72 hours of patience, love and probably a secret ritual under the full moon. The dough? So fluffy that for a moment I thought I was biting into a cloud that grew up in a brick oven. But be careful! Anyone expecting a normal Italian pizza here will be disappointed, because this is not a plain piece of dough with toppings, but a revelation in a round shape. Neapolitan perfection! If you don't appreciate it, you should probably just keep eating frozen pizza. I am seriously considering moving my residence near this pizzeria. Or at least set up a tent in front of the entrance. Absolute recommendation!

If you love Pizza, then this place is a must-try! The bruschetta was bursting with fresh flavors, and the pizza was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for an authentic italian and satisfying meal.

Very good del pizza, different than usual

The best pizza around. The prices are reasonable, but then I'd rather only eat one pizza a month, but a really good one. Staff also great. Keep it up!

Nice atmosphere and super tasty starters. That's why I give it two stars but unfortunately that's it. The pricing is very ambitious for what you get served. I had a non-alcoholic Hugo in a water glass that was 2/3 ice cubes for €7. A pizza for €18 that tasted ok. As already mentioned, only the starters were really worth the money. I had my baby with me who is really very well behaved. He spent the entire stay on my lap just watching. As soon as I entered, I noticed negatively that this restaurant is probably not very child-friendly. No one came to help with the stroller and I wasn't offered a high chair. When I was asked where I could change diapers, I was told to go over to the neighboring restaurant when the outside temperature was 2 degrees (all moms know what that means) When I asked if I could quickly change my diaper on the corner bench where no one was sitting in the immediate vicinity (only a pee diaper), I was only laughed at. I then had to heave the stroller down the steps by myself. I have rarely experienced such ignorant staff when visiting a restaurant. The service was really a big disappointment. I can't agree with the positive reviews and won't go there again.

Fred, your behavior at "My Local, Your Local" is absolutely impossible! Downright bad for business - for your restaurant.

At first I was a bit irritated because the restaurant seemed quite dark. But this impression quickly disappeared, the atmosphere was cozy and the light at the table was just right to enjoy the meal in a relaxed manner. The service was also pleasant: the waitresses were friendly, attentive, but never intrusive. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the higher segment. But that's absolutely fine for the food, because the quality is right - the Fat Bastard pizza in particular is a clear recommendation! However, the drinks prices are less convincing: €4.50 for a beer and €3.90 for a small cola are quite sporty. This somewhat depresses the desire to stay seated longer and order more drinks (hence the star deduction for food). Nevertheless: A nice ambience, excellent food and attentive service – overall a successful evening!

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, conditions friendly, knew everything about ingredients on pizza, was able to answer questions immediately. Competent person. Will definitely come back, only this time with an empty stomach. Keep it up.

This was our second time here and we will certainly come more often. The pizza is really like in Naples... it couldn't be better!!! The only drawback is the inattention from the service... we would have liked to order another round of drinks, but the waitress didn't notice our empty glasses.

As a Bamberg native, I know Henrietta quite well and enjoyed being there for a while. We wanted to go on January 22nd. In 2025 we will once again spend our monthly girls' evening (10 people including dinner) at Henrietta. When we made the reservation by phone, I was told that we could either get a table from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or, if we wanted to stay longer, a starter per person in addition to the main course for €14.99 would have to accept. Sorry Henrietta! We see this as bullying and will spend the evening elsewhere! Dear Mr. Beughold, Thank you very much for the phone call I made yesterday about my recession as well as your apology and explanation of how this error (statements on the phone by your employee) could have occurred when I attempted to make a reservation. I'll definitely come back. The pizza is only recommended. The lady who served us was super nice. Cool atmosphere. We would have liked to have stayed seated longer.

The first impression of the restaurant was promising. The card is tight, which doesn't have to be a bad thing. We ordered bruscetta, antipasti and a salami pizza. The service was very nice and attentive. Our food arrived in not too short a time. Antipasti was optimistically ok and tasted at a normal level. Our bruscetta and pizza were completely disappointing “for us” 😞. Bruscetta was cold and soggy with a cream. The pizza was swimming in grease and like chewing gum. The edge was basically the best. We've never had such bad pizza. We returned the order after a few attempts. When asked how the food was, we answered honestly and expressed our displeasure. It was simply acknowledged. For us it wasn't a nice meal. The card appears lifted which does not hold the product. The Mahr beer was positive. Sorry Henrietta, we won't be coming back.

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten und der Laden rappelvoll war, durften wir trotzdem an der Bar essen. Die Pizza war grandios, eine der besten, die ich seit Jahren essen durfte. Die Pizza Carbonara kann ich nur empfehlen. Eine tolle Kombination. Daumen hoch!

The prices for a pizza are very high. The taste was ok, but everything was very Germanized. Furthermore, the pasta dishes have little to do with authentic Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, it was also noticed that they wanted to fill our table relatively quickly. Then I saw the episode of “Your Local, My Local”. Unfortunately, meat broth is used for the Aranchini, which is labeled vegetarian.

Very good lasagna and Neapolitan pizza. The dips for the absolutely tasty pizza crust are highly recommended. The service was very nice and the food was there in no time. The ambience is an interesting mix of rustic and modern. We'll be back.

When preparing in “My Local, Your Local”, the arancini are prepared with chicken broth. These are marked as vegetarian on the menu. It would be nice if one could rely on such information.

I can't remember ever being asked in a pizzeria shortly after starting to eat whether I liked the pizza and whether everything was OK. At Henrietta, this is just as much a part of attentive service as high-quality ingredients and expert preparation of the dishes. As we entered the venue, we were greeted by the unexpectedly appealing sound of dancing ice cubes in a smart bartender's shaker. That made me curious about a cocktail as an aperitif. The choice fell on a classic Negroni as a reference in the bar area, which is also extremely difficult to find in prominent bars such as in Berlin-Mitte with Martini Rosso and standard gins, and in the Gin House in Dresden near the Frauenkirche with homemade bitters to replace the classic Campari and a herbal essence "extracted" in alcohol as well as a gin of his choice for an unexpectedly surprising taste experience that justifies the higher price and with Henrietta in top form based on Tanqueray gin and Belsazar vermouth (note to Berlin-Mitte: it comes from the capital!) at a top price, which all in all makes you want to go for a second round. This then belonged to the Gin Basil Smash, which was refreshingly fruity, undiluted, intensely flavored and pleasantly slightly sweetened. Some palates might expect a little more basil flavor in the drink, but that's really complaining at a high level and ultimately a matter of taste. You should definitely keep Henrietta in mind as a “hidden bar” in case the small enclosure in the Black Sheep on the Schranne is bursting at the seams again and you should definitely opt for a cocktail as an aperitif before your meal. Maybe the standard range of cocktails will soon be expanded. In any case...keep it up Henrietta! Note: Despite selecting 5 stars for food and service and 4 stars for ambience, only 0 is displayed for the categories on Google even after two editing attempts. Unfortunately I can't change that.

Super friendly staff, the pizza we had (Savage Garden) was incredibly tasty and the homemade lemonade as well. The atmosphere is super pleasant with the wooden arches. Gladly again!

Das Restaurant bietet au§ergewöhnlichere Pizzen und Nudelgerichte. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist okay, etwas im gehobeneren Segment angesiedelt, aber gerechtfertigt. Das Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Restaurant vom Ammbiente schön. Man muss reservieren da sehr schnell alle yplätze besetzt sind. Sehr angenehm, dass nicht 100 Gerichte auf der Karte sind, was zeigt, dass alles soweit frisch zubereitet ist.

Unter aller Kanone, nachdem ich mich darüber Beschwert hatte das die Pizza labig ist, müsste ich mir von so einem arroganten Schnösel einen Vortrag anhören!! Ich hab den einfach stehen und den Driss einfach liegen gelassen und bin woanders hin!

Unfortunately, both pizzas were very charred on the edges and inedible! The waitress explained to us that this was typical of a Neapolitan pizza and that there was no reason for a complaint!

Starting from the assumption that it is difficult/impossible to find a good pizzeria in Bavaria and Franconia, this is proof of it. Spectacular place both inside and out BUT the pizza is not Neapolitan as they write, the San Daniele ham that was on my pizza was perhaps a distant cousin of Daniele, we recommend the chef to come to Italy to Parma to try it or even to Naples. Then the pizza was normal, but it can't cost €18.80; and even if nowadays there can be such an exaggerated price, it must at least be good

very friendly staff (could have been the boss herself) We each had a pizza, both of which were really delicious. Of course you could be upset about the price of the pizzas, if I remember correctly 16.50, but the taste experience should be worth it. If we are in Bamberg again we will definitely stop by there again. To be on the safe side, you should reserve a table.

Obwohl schon Wochen vorher reserviert, wurden wir mit den lapidaren Worten " Ihr Tisch ist noch nicht frei, aber das Dessert wurde schon serviert" abgespeist und einfach stehen gelassen. Ach ja, uns wurde eine Karte gereicht, dass wir ja schon mal schauen könnten, was wir essen wollen. Auf unsere Frage, ob wir uns nicht einstweilen an die freien Tische setzen könnten, hieß es: nein, geht nicht. Wir standen ca. 15 Minuten mitten im Lokal, die Bedienung hielt es auch nicht für nötig, die Herrschaften, die unseren Tisch hatten, darauf hinzuweisen, dass sie doch bitte, nachdem endlich gezahlt wurde, den Tisch frei machen sollen. Ein no go. Darauf hin haben wir beschlossen, zu gehen. Dieser Laden sieht uns nie wieder!

Amazing. Never had such a good pizza in Germany. If you miss Italy, you can come to this place.

The door was opened promptly at 12:00 p.m. and we were kindly shown to our seat. At lunchtime, the lunch menu is highly recommended, as the prices are simply unbeatable compared to the normal menu. The portions and ingredients are very reasonable in relation to the price. The pizzas are well topped and taste excellent. Likewise the pasta dishes where the pancetta was still crispy. The salads consist of different varieties that pleasantly complement the mouthfeel. The ingredients are all very fresh and taste great. The bread that is served with the salad or the “Easy Cheesy” is an insider tip. The dessert was also great for the price - as was the taste. After a pizza, it's perfect to finish off with a small tiramisu in a glass and an espresso. It's always a pleasure to come back - that speaks for the quality.

Simply a super delicious pizza, absolutely recommended!

So far, the best Ristorante in Bamberg. The service was excellent and very accommodating. The pizza creations are unusual but delicious. The dough was firm and soft, just the way I like it. The edge maybe a little too high, but still within the frame.
