Pizzeria La Buca in Berlin

3 years ago I was full of praise for this restaurant. Today, February 14, 2025, I was very disappointed. I ordered my steak "English" and it came out rather "well". On the second try it was more “medium”, but didn’t have any particular taste of its own. The side dishes were the typical, boring uniform vegetables (carrots, broccoli, rosemary potatoes), although the potatoes tasted very warmed up. My companion had zander, here too the side dishes were not good, see above. The wine by the glass was good and not expensive. I will not visit this location again. Too bad.

For me it was a very nice evening at "LaBuca"....thank you very much for that. The service was very friendly and always on hand. As a small starter there was a plate with still warm bread and olives, delicious. The food didn't take long to arrive and was fantastic. Price-performance is very consistent. All in all, a wonderful little Italian restaurant and not just a pizzeria. 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommended.

I've been there a few times and every time I'm more than satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the price/performance is great, especially at lunch (salad/soup + main course €10.50), the food comes within a few minutes and tastes very good every time, and there is always fresh baguette and olives beforehand. One of the best Italians I know in Berlin.

We chose the restaurant for a family celebration without knowing it beforehand and were thrilled in the end. The staff is very warm and friendly, the service is professional, the food is very good. The tiramisu alone makes it worth coming back. We felt very comfortable and can fully recommend La Buca!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my adult daughter's birthday at La Buca Restaurant on Grolmanstrasse 21 in Berlin and I absolutely loved it. The restaurant offers the best Italian cuisine at the highest level and extremely friendly service. Every course was a culinary highlight and the atmosphere was perfect for our special occasion. I can highly recommend La Buca and look forward to my next visit!

Not Italian at all. Pizza almost without cheese. Dessert was a disaster, I couldn't finish it. I will never come back.

Great Italian restaurant with very attentive and friendly service. We ate penne and salad. All very tasty. The Campari Spritz was also great.

We know La Buca from Steglitz. I also had something and was always full. Now it is nicer, brighter, very tastefully decorated. Attentive service! Schnapps or espresso on the house! The pizza was very good, crispy, tender, well topped, ok priced. The overall package is harmonious, especially considering that you are in the expensive center of Berlin.

Very tasty Italian food with super nice service-oriented service. Very good price-performance ratio. The furnishings and ambience correspond to the typical Italian restaurant around the corner. So it's not a luxury chic restaurant, but a very classic one. The offspring enjoyed it very much. Us too. There are children's portions at reasonable prices.

Went here for dinner with friends from Berlin and were very impressed. Staff is great, food and wine are great too. We'd love to come back.

Good place with an economical and tasty menu (I recommend the Bohnen Suppe). Very friendly and attentive treatment.

What do we have here? A rating of 4.7 stars. This restaurant can't even come close to keeping up with the competition right next door (aggregated rating also 4.7 stars). Spaghetti all'amatriciana completely meaningless, the side salad similarly uneventful. To top it off, be offended because you can't leave a tip on your card (yes, I would have liked to have given one despite the culinary mediocrity). In the year of our Lord 2024 this should be technically possible. These aversions in this direction in Berlin can hardly be taken seriously anymore anyway.

Restaurant and service very good. Food portions tiny. It tasted good, I went home hungry, despite the starter, main course and dessert.

If there's an Italian in Charlottenburg, it's here! Service friendly & attentive, pasta & pizza exactly suits my taste buds. In summer, the terrace invites you to drink wine or have dinner with friends in the Charlottenburg neighborhood. 1A!

Very good restaurant. Both the pizzas and the pasta dishes are always a clear recommendation. The staff is very accommodating and the desserts are to die for. Even if it's very crowded, you won't be forgotten but you'll always get the best of the best. Clear recommendations are the pasta with salmon and the pistachio cake!

A really successful alternative at Savignyplatz. It's always worth it. Whether it's lunch or dinner, there's always something GOOD on offer. Just try it out. Have fun.

Ordered Margherita ,Salame und Italiana pizza 🍕 .Very goog ingridients very tasty "dough" of pizza .Very nice service by waitters .Restaurant looks very good from outside as well .

Honestly, it was a disappointment for me waste of money and calories on capriccioso. It was soooooo salty, maybe the pepperonis were the case, couldn't tell you cause my taste buds were dead after the salad, which was also HORRIBLE. Can not say anything about freshness because the sauce was too heavy and too MUCH that I couldn't taste anything. If you want to drink wine and maybe get some apetizers (safe ones) you can go here but if you want to eat something good stay clear.

In short, the visit to the restaurant was great, delicious food and great service

We were here with colleagues at lunchtime and were very happy with the selection and quality of the dishes. There were offers for lunch. The restaurant is clean and has a cozy, casual atmosphere. The service was friendly and quick. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back!

Food was under seasoned and left us with a stomach ache. Order was also wrong and service not polite.

La Buca exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a delightful crust. Lovely Italian restaurant, very friendly service, very child-friendly! Food was lovely, couldn't expect better. Note though: not 'Neapolitan style' pizza, but the kind that is more common in Germany (thinner crust). Would recommend!

Ciao, ein Mittagstisch ab 10,50 € mit Salat oder Suppe. Wie man in Berlin sagt: Da kannste nich Meckern...Sehr angenehme leckere Weine zum vernünftigen Preis. Der Espresso Corretto ein Gedicht...bitte selbst ausprobieren, wir können nur einen guten Tipp geben..und kommen wieder.

Ein wunderbares Restaurant im Charlottenburger Kiez. Das Essen ist super und durch wechselnde Tageskarten immer abwechslungsreich. Der Service ist 1A und man fühlt sich schnell in der Atmosphäre wohl. Ich kann es mit Abstand empfehlen.

Das Essen war eigentlich sehr lecker, allerdings kam es teilweise kalt an den Tisch. Die Portion war leider Recht klein, aber der Service sehr nett :)

Waren gestern mit 6 Personen dort. Pizza, Pasta und Fisch. Alles war wirklich gut. Keine gehobene Küche aber alles gut zubereitet mit frischen Zutaten. Der Liter Lambrusco war überdurchschnittlich gut. Nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Für die Gegend ist Preis/Leistung wirklich okay.

Das essen ist wirklich unglaublich lecker, und man muss nie lange warten. Der Pizzateig ist super dünn und knusperig und frische Zutaten werden auch verwendet. Die Desserts sind zu empfehlen - Creme Brulee ist der Favorite! Die Karte ist sehr abwechslungsreich und wird je nach Saison angepasst, komme sehr oft und wurde noch nie enttäuscht! Preis Leistung ist TOP!!!

Wir waren aufgrund der guten Bewertungen dort und müssen sagen, dass wir wirklich begeistert sind. Man hatte dort wirklich das Gefühl, der Kunde ist König und man ist sehr herzlich Willkommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, ging recht schnell und die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Nach dem Essen bekommt man einen Sambuca o.ä. und beim zweiten Besuch haben wir sogar noch einen Nachtisch auf Kosten des Hauses bekommen. Wir sind wirklich begeistert.

I really wanted to try the pizza and it was delicious. Of course they have also a hard to resist daily menu but since I’ve been hoping to find a classic Italian pizza, i managed to get one. And it was perfect. I am sure I will get back here to try more pizzas and also the daily menu options.

Freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung, man hat ziemlich schnell ein neues Getränk erhalten und das Essen wurde fast zeitgleich für alle serviert. Pizza hat sehr gut geschmeckt und war ausreichend belegt. Das Lokal verfügt über eine normale Ausstattung und ist gemütlich. Die Preise sind für den Service und die Qualität angemessen. Es gab eine Nachspeise aufs Haus. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

One of the best pizzas in Berlin! I strongly recommend to visit La Buca for lunch. Pizzeria offers wide range of pizzas and soup included in each lunch menu!

Unfortunately, I got a very unpleasant experience in this place. Had an argument with Russian speaking female waiter who was extremely rude and unprofessional. We had a situation which could be solved peacefully, I assume there was just a technical issues with their payment processing. Though this was a problem from restaurant side I received different accusations from the waiter 😥
