Anyone who has had enough of overwhelmed staff and excessive prices is in good hands with the host couple Uschi and Martin. With your (Well)jeföhl, a personal relationship with the guests is quickly created. Even though the menu appears clear, every dish was personally conjured up by Martin. What is learned is learned and homemade bread is already a pleasure. Meanwhile, Uschi takes care of the service at the table and so no empty glass goes unnoticed. A great alternative to the usual wine bars on the Moselle, and not just for beer drinkers. We have only been in Zell for 3 days and are going to Kölsch-Jeföhl again this evening.

We stayed in the small hotel for the last weekend in April and felt very comfortable. The service was great, our room was comfortable and the location was perfect for us. We were also warmly welcomed at check-in. We can only warmly recommend the hotel and will definitely come back.

The restaurant is somewhat hidden in a small alley. The kitchen is open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. But in my opinion that's okay. You are welcomed directly at the counter and several tables were suggested. The nice lady also came quite quickly with the card. Drinks and food were also consumed quite quickly. Drinks and food came very quickly. You have the feeling that there is little gastronomic experience here, for example there was no tray etc. used for drinks and food, instead you go several times. The food was good, although not entirely artisanal. Some of them were finished products. Which is ok in my opinion given the price. If you want to eat like mom or grandma's and can handle using ready-made products, this is the right place. What we were unfortunately missing was some table decorations and, if necessary, one or two corner benches would do the room good, as the room seems “too big”.

Burgers and schnitzel were pretty tasty 😄We also liked the service, but the price was quite high. The penne was advertised as being freshly made, but we couldn't find any real difference in taste compared to what we bought 🫣 Unfortunately, as described in the other reviews, the toilets were in need of renovation and not particularly appetizing - hence the star deduction. Be careful, the children's portion is very large 😯 at least for a 3 year old. And unfortunately there was no surprise bag and free drink with the children's menu as described on the menu. All in all, we would still like to come back again and can recommend it to others!

Why would you open a restaurant in 2025 and only offer cash payment? In my opinion that doesn't work. Not customer oriented and tasteless.

I never give reviews, but today I have to. In almost 52 years, I've never eaten as badly as I did here. Bad pre-made schnitzel with pre-made sauces for exorbitant prices. Of course, it's always your own fault if you don't do your research beforehand, but this kind of restaurant is still a disgrace. Stay away.
