Overall, it was cheap, but the price-performance ratio, especially for the starters, was not good.

A truly Cologne atmosphere, super friendly staff, incredibly delicious food, and the Kölsch beer flows as it should. Always happy to come back!

The service was very friendly and everything was excellent and the food was delicious.

Service with a real heart, delicious, honest food, I'll be happy to return. Unfortunately, we only discovered this long-standing establishment on our last evening in Zell am Mosel.

The owner is very unfriendly and forbade our 7-year-old granddaughter from using the restroom. "There's a public restroom across the street," was his reply. I hope the same thing happens to him sometime... Халдей, одним словом.

Loved the food, dunkel is absolutely smashing. The owners are warm and welcoming people. I especially liked the atmosphere as locals gathered here for a meal or nice pint of beer. Also we couldn't resist buying some of the amazing local bread to take away but I'm not encouraging others to consider it as a bakery :)

It is typical family restaurant where you can find a little miracle: simply and amazing at the same time. I will remember your local bread.

Delicious snacks, chilled drinks. Great service, and the staff work with a lot of Cologne flair. We've taken you into our hearts.

I have never encountered such an unfriendly and cheeky owner. Cologne residents are hospitable and great people. This restaurant should be recognized for its name. Simply sad.

We didn't have a table there, so I can't rate the food or the service. What I can, however, say is that the service there (at the counter) was unfriendly, aggressive, and disrespectful. I've never encountered such a man and person before. The name Kölsch is completely out of place there, because I only know people who are warm-hearted. But this encounter was definitely not warm. This man was simply abysmal. What a shame, it's actually a great location.

Wonderful, authentic Kölsch beer on the Moselle! A good and authentic contrast, in a predestined wine region. Delicious beer with a fitting culinary accompaniment. A recommendable alternative to the typical regional offerings! A place to feel good. 👍

We were in Zell on Saturday for the wine festival. The three of us wanted to sit outside but we didn't see the reservation sign on the table. The landlord came out in an aggressive manner and shouted, "Get away from the table immediately, it's reserved." I then put him in his place and said that it was possible to say that sensibly. I've worked in the catering industry for 30 years and I know how hard it can be. But that's not the way to go. He needn't worry, I'll never go to that place again.

Absolutely sweet owners! Unfortunately, I have a few allergies, and they offered me so many great alternatives for the tarte flambée and kept asking if I wanted this or that on it. I then opted for a "classic" one with feta instead of onions. (That should be on the menu ;-) ) It was super delicious and freshly prepared. Lovely ambiance and a great atmosphere!

Sensational tarte flambée and wonderful goulash. We wouldn't have been treated so warmly for a long time. The owner brought a blanket for our son, and the owner brought crayons and a pillow. It's not often you get such attentive service for children. A robber plate was brought without asking.

Anyone who has had enough of overwhelmed staff and excessive prices is in good hands with the host couple Uschi and Martin. With your (Well)jeföhl, a personal relationship with the guests is quickly created. Even though the menu appears clear, every dish was personally conjured up by Martin. What is learned is learned and homemade bread is already a pleasure. Meanwhile, Uschi takes care of the service at the table and so no empty glass goes unnoticed. A great alternative to the usual wine bars on the Moselle, and not just for beer drinkers. We have only been in Zell for 3 days and are going to Kölsch-Jeföhl again this evening.

Very nice host couple and really tasty, simple dishes. And before we got anything, our dog had a bowl of water. Were in Zell in 10/2022 and it is just as good as it was back then. Stay as you are.

Was a guest there once. My impression, very nice host couple, family atmosphere. Everything is great. Gladly again. As a Cologne resident, you feel at home there, even on the Moselle.

You immediately feel at home in Kölsch Jeföhl. Uschi and Martin are great hosts, the food, whether tarte flambée or the winemaker's snack board, was very, very tasty. Uschi always has a funny saying on his lips, the mood is relaxed and happy. Kind regards from the To... Grandma😉

I ended up there out of necessity...thankfully. I was traveling alone and found this little pub and quickly felt at home. A conversation quickly started with the owner, as it turns out we are also fellow bakers (kind regards from Globus Bäcker). Thank you again for the great evening with you, I wish you continued good luck and health.

A visit to Martin and Uschi is like visiting your own family. The home-baked bread, which smells fresh from the oven, and the delicious mega goulash are a real treat for the senses. The hosts Martin and Uschi welcome their guests with open arms and make you immediately feel at home. The warm atmosphere and the lovingly prepared food make your stay an unforgettable experience. A place where you always want to return.😃🫶

We went there for a spontaneous meal and felt more than comfortable ☺️ The dishes were homemade and really delicious and the hosts were courteous and warm. We would eat there again and again and can recommend it without reservation ☺️

We took a 5 day vacation in Zell. Not only was the weather great, the food and service at Uschi and Martin were also overwhelming. We were there 3 times. This was the most delicious tarte flambée we have ever eaten. The goulash is also highly recommended. When we go on holiday in Zell again, there is no way around Kölsch Jeföhl.

We arrived spontaneously shortly before closing time and were still warmly welcomed! We ate the excellent goulash with noodles, highly recommended. We will definitely come back on our next vacation in Zell! Thank you very much.

Super delicious food, we took the pasta with goulash and can only recommend it! The portions are large and just right. The taste is simply delicious! You can tell that the owners do it with all their hearts, something that you rarely see these days.

Finally a restaurant with German home cooking and the service is friendly and attentive and can speak kölsch and the ambience is not too old, so to speak, a small, cute pub where you feel comfortable and is in the (Zell/Mosel) center.

Very nice home made food, owners super friendly and welcoming, they made us feel like home. A very worthy place to have a super fine meal, good chats and a wonderful evening. The lady owner also gave us a wonderful gift. We will be back

Try their "pizza" similar to Tarte Alsazienne. The goulash is also excellent! The local wines are very kind and excellent. Excellent value for money.

Yesterday we had an unforgettable evening with very tasty food, lard bread and cheese nibbles, delicious wine and extremely warm service. We met some nice guests, everything was perfect. Thank you very much, dear Uschi.

We came without a reservation and were greeted very friendly. The cheese platter was a good start and the goulash afterwards was simply delicious. The employees were all very friendly and in a good mood. Always have a casual saying that rubs off on the guests. This also led to nice conversations among the guests. It was also nice to drink a refreshing Kölsch alongside the delicious wine. We'd love to come back. Keep it up.

Meine Frau, unser Hund und ich waren Gestern im Laden und wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und bedingt. Der Service war sehr sehr gut. Der Hund bekam auch Wasser angeboten. Wir haben zwar immer Wasser dabei für den Hund, aber es ist wie bei uns Menschen von den anderen schmeckt es besser. So war es übrigens auch mit dem Essen. Das Gulasch in dem Laden ist sensationell lecker. Man kann in Köln selbst und auch in Bayern kein besseres Gulasch finden. Ich bedanke mich jedenfalls bei euch für einen schönen Abend. Lg ✌️

Gaffel frisch vom Fass. Guter Wein. Leckeres Essen ( das Brot...) und on top noch eine herzliche Wirtin, die flott und immer mit einem Lachen bedient! Kölsch Jeföhl vom feinsten!

Wir können diese tolle Location nur wärmstens empfehlen. Super nette Gastgeber und absolut tolles Essen. Wir hatten Gulasch mit Nudeln und ein Vesperbrett. Alles war super lecker und sehr reichlich. Auch das sebstgebackene Brot schmeckt toll. Wir können dieses Lokal wärmstens empfehlen.

We had a lovely dinner with our family of four. Host Martin and Ursula are great and took their time to explain the various dishes available. We stayed in their apartment ‘Anton’ above the restaurant, which offers fantastic views over the river and vineyards. I can highly recommend eating and staying here and will come back in the future.

Ich hatte den besten Gulasch den ich je gegessen habe und meine Partnerin ein super Vesperbrett mit selbst gebackenes Brot vom Chef. Jedem Mosel Besucher ist dafür ein Abstecher ins Kölsch Jeföhl zu empfehlen.

We ate early at this restaurant. Mt husband had Goulash with noodles and I ate goulash with bread. The goulash was amazing. The bread absolutely perfect. It was the best meal we enjoyed in Zell. Congratulations on such lovely food in a lovely setting.

Adorable bar/restaurant in the center of Zell. Very friendly service! The kolsch beer is fresh and cold. As soon as you finish one, they’re ready to serve you another. Great outdoor seating area with blankets on cooler evenings. Small indoor seating as well. Bathrooms are clean. You can also get the round serving trays with many kolsch at a time. There are many types of Flammkuchen to choose from, the crust has a nice crispness to it. Delicious!

Ganz hervorragende und herzliche Gastgeber. Exquisiter Wein (& natürlich auch leckeres Kölsch :) und phänomenaler Flammkuchen! Sehr empfehlenswert und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf ein Wiedersehen bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Zell.

Lecker Mühlenkölsch vom Fass. Nicht nur FC Fans fühlen sich wohl. Uschi und Martin kümmern sich um die Gäste als wäre es die Familie. Wir haben schon alles auf der Karte probiert. Ob Flammkuchen,Gulasch,Vesperplatte,alles handgemacht. Alles richtig lecker. Getränke kommen flott,aufs Essen muss man nicht lange warten,auch wenn alle Tische besetzt sind. Immer wieder gerne. Das ehemalige Katz und Kölsch von der Balduinstraße 71 ist umgezogen auf die Balduinstraße 55 und heißt jetzt Kölsch Jeföhl. Die Inhaber, Familie Ursula und Martin Seul sind die gleichen. Ein sympathisches Ehepaar aus Köln. Hier kann man bei einem leckeren Kölsch oder Riesling schön draußen sitzen und dem regen Treiben auf der Balduinstraße folgen. Das Essen und die Preise sind auch sehr gut.
