Gaststätte "Zur Ponte" in Zell (Mosel)

The "Zur Ponte" restaurant isn't a traditional restaurant, but rather a small, floating restaurant and clubhouse on the Moselle, run voluntarily by the Zell Motorboat Club. Here, you can enjoy wine in a wonderful atmosphere right on the water. The homemade tarte flambée is also highly recommended, and there's even a vegetarian option. Bottom line: Definitely worth a visit! 😊

The owner alone is worth it; he's a funny guy. The tarte flambée of your choice is great, with or without bacon, cut into large or small pieces 🤣🤣 I was here for 45 minutes and couldn't stop smiling...

The "Zur Ponte" is run by the Zell Motorboat Club. Open in good weather, the owners are very friendly and personable. One takes customers on the party boat, and the other takes care of the "wine boat." It's fantastic, the wine is delicious, and you can sit in the sun or the shade. Parking is also free, and you can sit on the Moselle and stay dry 🤭. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back. There's also a restroom on the boat. It's great when people stop here on the Moselle with their boat and drink wine or beer... I think that's really great. We really enjoyed it and felt very comfortable 👍. See you soon.

A fantastic overnight spot for a boat. Dock right next to the restaurant. The restaurant is part of the non-profit boat club, and the offerings are limited to various drinks and homemade tarte flambée (highly recommended!), even for passersby. Very nice location, very friendly!

Fantastic location and unabashedly charming service. We really enjoyed the Pinot Blanc. I hope the landlord enjoys our beer too! Tarte flambée was also delicious and the ambience was unbeatable.

We wanted to eat here, but this wasn't possible. I assumed it was because of the opening hours, which aren't listed on Google. But we were told this was a club. Maybe that's new. At least there was information about where we could eat, so that was very nice.

Just nice!! We have been coming to Zell and to Pont again and again for years. Now we wanted to write a review. Landlord Thomas is really a great guy. Without him nothing works here. Our dog always gets the best response and good water here. And we have a perfect Moselle atmosphere with nice people. Great, thank you and hopefully keep it up!! Of course also Otto K. Not to be forgotten!

Beautiful spot to enjoy drinks on a docked boat, you’re right on the Mosel! There’s a large umbrella that covers the boat, but depending on where you sit and time of day you can enjoy sun or shade. Otto and Thomas are very friendly hosts and are happy to talk with you about the area. They serve Flammkuchen and waffles with strawberry and cream, both are delightful and the perfect snack while enjoying their wine, beer, coffee… Beautiful views of the Zell and Merl vineyards as well as the Marienburg. Great place to stop and relax while on a bike ride or walk.

Haben hier mit drei Booten angelegt um etwas zu essen und zu trinken. Der Anfangs etwas grummelig wirkende Wirt, hat sich zum Schluss aber als sehr nett rausgestellt. Der Flammkuchen war unglaublich lecker. Leider gab es keine Waffeln mit Eis, wie es angeschrieben stand. Hier halten wir bestimmt nochmal mit den Booten.

War ein schöner Nachmittag bei ein Gläschen Wein und Flammkuchen

Super nett, guter Wein und gemütlich.

Netter uriger Verweiltreff auf dem Wasser an der Mosel. Freundliche und spontane Bedienung (Thomas) der mit einem lockeren Spruch zur Unterhaltung beiträgt. Leckerer Wein einer kleinen Winzergemeinschaft - gepaart mit einem lecker aufgepeppten Flammkuchen. Wir hatten Sonnenschein und nach nem 6 stündigen Spaziergang ein schöner Ausklang.

Sehr gemütliche Gaststätte auf einem kleinen Schiff. Guter Wein und sehr leckerer Flammkuchen.

Wat een leuk plekje op de Mosel! Een heerlijke flammkuchen gegeten. We hadden het geluk op de (donderdag-) avond een gitarist op het restaurant-bootje te hebben. Onder het genot van lekkere wijn, leuke muziek en gezellig ander Duits gezelschap hebben wij een super leuke avond gehad! Deze vriend (zie foto) kwam ook nog even langs zwemmen..🦢
