The restaurant really impressed me. The food was really tasty and freshly prepared, especially the meat was grilled to perfection and super tender. The side dishes were also great and everything was beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Special requests were implemented immediately and we regularly asked whether everything was OK. The atmosphere was relaxed, just right for a cozy evening. I can definitely recommend it!

We visited the old winery twice within a week. As a sausage salad expert, I have to say this was some of the best I've ever eaten! All the other dishes were fresh, there are large portions and the place is nice and the service was attentive and friendly... clear recommendation!

Very nice boss and see nice service. We sat comfortably outside. My husband had the Cordon Bleu and I had the Dutch style schnitzel. Both were super tasty and really big. We will definitely eat there again.

Tourist trap! Underground food, we were there in a group. Service was OK, but nothing more. My Cordon Bleu below with lots of roasted aromas (burnt). The cheese, if it was real, was tasteless and the artificial-tasting breading fell off. The croquettes were also tasteless. I guess from the oven. Stomach ache all evening, glutamate? Worst meal on vacation. Not recommended! Upgrade, I will also ask the others in the group to rate their restaurant.

No, sorry, tourist food from the confectionery machine with too much flavor enhancer. Upgrade after the answer: Before you next take the dreary cordon bleu out of the packaging, you should pay attention to the corresponding E marking. After "enjoying" the meal, I needed a tablet to at least alleviate the worst of the symptoms. I'm not impressed by your threat.

Nice, quiet place where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Friendly staff. We ate here twice, I had a vegetarian dish both times and they were both very tasty. My friend liked it so much the first time that he ordered the same thing the 2nd time!

1. Unfortunately the side salad was served in a garlic sauce that didn't suit our taste. 2. The dish was not served with the French fries we ordered, but with fried potatoes. When we asked, we were told by the service staff that French fries were not available with this dish. 3. The schnitzel was dry and over-seasoned. The pork fillet was not served with cream sauce, but with hollandaise. 4. The radio station playing with commercials and other items was disturbing.

Een leuk plekje in Zell waar je zelfs met kleine trek iets lekkers kunt eten. De "gewone porties" zijn ruim voldoendes en lekker van smaak!

We drove down from the Hunsrück to try the Alte Winzerstube restaurant because the pictures and the menu really appealed to us. Even though the pictures looked good, we were even more surprised. The food was excellent. I was allowed to have goulash soup with bread and a robber schnitzel. The soup was excellently hearty, rich and full of good ingredients; you don't believe in thin soup with little ingredients here. Normally I wouldn't say anything about the bread, but here it was so good in terms of taste and toasted texture that it's simply worth mentioning. The schnitzel was also excellent, a generous portion with a well-beaten and clearly lovingly breaded piece of meat. The ham on the schnitzel was definitely not the “pressed ham from the discounter” brand; rather, they don't go out of their way here either and serve the guest quality. The sauce was obviously fresh and homemade, the peppers were just right crunchy and very delicately seasoned. Allow me to quote my friend who said "Oh, that's what schnitzel should actually taste like." When it comes to atmosphere, pictures are probably worth a thousand words, so I'll just try two. welcoming and warm. You simply have to find warm words about the service, we were greeted warmly and with humor, as if we were an old acquaintance. We were here for the first and certainly not the last time. I would definitely recommend coming here and enjoying the hospitality of the Alte Winzerstube. The waitress said to us "We want to do everything here with love." You notice that.

A really great atmosphere, very tasty wine and the best potato vegetable pan that I have had the pleasure of eating in 22 years of a vegetarian diet. The food was simply great. The Riesling soup is a dream. The waitress gave the whole thing an extra star. She really knows her job and gave us and all the other guests great hospitality and ran the place really well. Geweldig lekker gegeten. Grote porties. Duurt wel wat langer voordat je je eten krijgt maar alles word vers gemaakt en bereid. Hebben 4 plekken in Zell gehad voor te eten, deze staat voor ons zeker op nummer 1! Lekkere verse schnitzels en verse salade.. raad iedereen om hier te gaan eten.

Ein grandioses gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit leckeren Schnitzeln und sehr gutem Service. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Service nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the portion size and quality are not even close to the price. The “Wiener Style” schnitzel with fried potatoes is tiny and the breading is wobbly. The handful of fried potatoes couldn't contribute to satiety due to their limited number. If you want to fill up or are looking for quality food, you should go a little further down the street.

Very tasty schnitzels. Very friendly staff. Really recommended for a delicious schnitzel meal. The Jägerschnitzel - and the other dishes too - are made with fresh ingredients...i.e. fresh mushrooms instead of canned ones. Tastes almost like mom’s. We were there without our dog, but the furry four-legged friends are also warmly welcomed there and are served water. (At least outside). So all in all it deserves 5 stars!

Very tasty and great service! We went here on a Thursday evening during the holidays with four adults and a three year old and the food was really, really good! Our little one was full and the service was very friendly and accommodating. The waiting time was a little longer, but every table was occupied, so it was completely understandable. We'd love to come back!

Nice restaurant in a great location. The outdoor seating area is wonderful and has a lot of tables and cover from the bright sun or rain. The Greek salad and steak were both okay, the steak was pretty tough but flavorful. It seemed like most people were getting the schnitzel, so this is what we will try next time.

Were there about 2 hours after the rain shower. After I asked if it was possible to wipe the place, I was countered: What do you want to drink! In the meantime we dried the chairs ourselves with our handkerchiefs. We actually had an appointment here with 13 couples. The red wine ordered was undrinkable, my veto was ignored. We then went to a friendly restaurant with great service and had a lovely evening.

Very nice cozy outdoor area. Nice and attentive service. And the food was a real highlight for me. The steak was served sizzling on the hot pan. The fried potatoes were perfect as was the side salad. All in all very recommendable. We'd love to come back. THANKS!

Very tasty food, would love to come back

We were in Zelle over a weekend and visited the place twice as it was close by and looked nice. The first time we just got a beer. The second time we had dinner. The service was rude and not very service-minded. We ordered a salad with chicken. The chicken was tough and tasteless. The salad was a strange mix of various fruits and vegetables. My wife became ill with stomach problems after visiting the restaurant, which bothered her for most of our holiday. Price and quality do not go together in this place.

Auf Empfehlung sind wir dort eingekehrt. Recht früh am Abend war das Lokal schon gut besucht. Service: zügig, freundlich, aufmerksam Geteänke: wir blieben alkoholfrei, daher schwer bewertbar Speisen: Cordon Bleu und Winzersteak Beide Portionen sehr groß, und ich meine wirklich groß! Aber sehr schmackhaft zubereitet, wobei die Pommes beim Cordbon bleu etwas zu sehr gesalzen waren. Das Winzersteak war sehr lecker, eine große Portion Zwiebeln und lecker angebratene (?) Weintrauben Fazit: sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, eine schöne Terrasse und eine Empfehlung.

Nette Bedienung, Sehr leckeres Essen, die Schnitzel werden frisch geklopft und zubereitet. Sehr zu empfehlen. Mann kann draußen und drinnen Sitzen.

Machten zu dritt ganz prima Erfahrungen. Trotz sehr guten Besuchs und Hektik freundliche Begrüßung und rasch die Getränke auf dem Tisch. Wir begannen alle mit einer leckeren Spargelcremesuppe und die offensichtlich frisch zubereiteten Hauptgerichte konnten auch überzeugen. Als es schon knapp vor Feierabend war, bekamen wir noch eine Flasche Wein, die wir dann in aller Ruhe genießen durften.

The restaurant is in the "second row" so it doesn't have a view of the Moselle, but it offers a small outdoor area and a modern interior area as well as renovated and clean toilets. When it comes to eating, the schnitzels, which come to the table hot and crispy, are highly praiseworthy. Sauces are served in a separate bowl, which I think is good because it keeps the breading crispy. The side dishes, fried potatoes and fries, are also delicious. As a starter (which was unnecessary considering the portions of the main courses) we shared a tarte flambée, which was also very tasty. The price-performance ratio is OK for the quality offered.

Leuk restaurant met groot buitenterras, aan het begin van de voetgangerszone in Zell. Heerlijk flammkuchen en een kleine schnitzel met ei en gebakken aardappels gegeten. Alles erg lekker klaar gemaakt. Vriendelijke bediening.

Delicious food! Even the kids get a nice big piece of schnitzel! Beautiful and tasty pieces of schnitzel with a tasty salad and a good portion of fries. Unfortunately we could not pay by card, but the card machine was not far away.

Prima gegeten met verse asperges. Goed van smaak, lekker glaasje ‘Schwarze Katz’ Riesling uit het dorp. Helaas geen desserts en betalen met pin kon ook niet. Dat laatste blijft echt een probleem in Duitsland. Cash is daar nog steeds King.

Beware of rip-offs!!! The food isn't bad, but even though it's specifically included on the homepage menu, fries are charged extra!! Not to mention a side salad! This adds another €3 or €3.50 to the bill! An impudence!!!

Wir saßen im Außenzelt, was ganz okay war, denn wir haben einen Tisch am Stahler ergattert und hatten einen Salat genommen. Salatblätter, eine kleine Tomate und zwei Gurkenscheiben. Für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen. Service machte einen überforderten Eindruck. Na ja Abends hat man in Zell eben keine Auswahl

Kleines Lokal mit zusätzlichen Zelt im Außenbereich, sehr gutes Essen (ein großes Lob an den Koch), allerdings gehobenes Preisniveau. Einziges Manko; ständig war die Aussentüre offen gestanden und deshalb unangenehm kühl im Lokal während dem Essen!

Bis auf den Salat vorweg, der leider etwas Lieblos war, war das Essen - wir hatten " Überbackene Allerlei " - hervorragend. Der Service war super, man wurde zwischenzeitlich gefragt, ob alles ok ist. Getränke wurden schnell serviert. Wir kommen garantiert wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Wir saßen geschützt im Zelt mit Heizpilz = gemütlich. Uns bediente sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Preis/Leistung verdient 5 Sterne. Wir würden auf jeden Fall gerne wiederkommen, leider endet aber morgen unser Urlaub

Leckeres Essen. Wir hatten ein Steak und eine Pfanne. Es war etwas los, Service war überfordert. Hatten mehrmals nach Salz gefragt. Man hat uns zunächst mitgeteilt, dass wir erst essen sollten. Später wurde das Salz vergessen. Anschließend hatten wir um Mayonnaise zu den Kroketten gebeten. Diese wurde uns ebenfalls nach einiger Zeit und wiederholter Bitte gebracht.

Super freundliches Personal. Wir haben sogar gehört, wie die schnitzel frisch in der Küche geklopft wurden. Alles im allem top und weiter zu empfehlen! Der wein war auch sehr lecker 👍🏻

Um es kurz zu machen: Alles Perfekt.

Waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag zu Zweit dort essen. Es war sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet und weihnachtlich dekoriert. Die Gastgeberin war einfach nur goldig - sehr herzlich und lieb und man konnte sich zwischendurch auch gut unterhalten. Das Essen und vor Allem die Schnitzel und Rahmsoße sind sehr zu empfehlen und einfach saulecker. Alles sehr frisch zubereitet, was sich vor allem nach einem Gespräch mit der Gastgeberin zeigte, als diese uns ihre aktuell schwere Lage bzgl. der 2G+ Regelung schilderte, da das Lokal stets frisch einkauft und es daher aktuell kaum wirtschaftlich lohnenswert wäre unter der Woche zu öffnen, weshalb das Lokal aktuell leider nur weitgehend am Wochenende öffnen könne oder wenn genug Reservierungen reinkommen. Daher muss man so ein regionales Lokal mit sehr guter Küche und lieben Gastgebern einfach unterstützen und ich rufe dazu auf, der Alten Winzerstube einen Besuch abzustatten! Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder! PS: Der regionale Wein "Zeller Schwarze Katz" ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen und lässt sich als Flasche auch zum mitnehmen kaufen.

Hervorragendes Essen in stilvollem Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Schnitzel sind super gebraten, die Bratkartoffeln spitze und der Salat knackig frisch. Ganz klarer Tipp und ein Muss wenn man in Zell ist.

Hübscher Garten unter Schirmen, perfekt ob heiss oder regnerisch. Super Service ! Junges Personal, das sich richtig Mühe gibt. Fernfahrer-Portionen, aber in Super-Qualität. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Trotz grosser Konkurrenz sind wir sogar zweimal zum Essen hin.

So lecker haben wir schon lange nicht gegessen. Salat Soße und Schnitzel. Super!!! Frische Zutaten und alles frisch gekocht. Sehr nette Inhaber und Personal. Wir gehen sofort wieder hin wenn wir mal hier sind. Top top top Unsere Hunde, groß, durften auch rein. Vielen Dank. Macht weiter so.

Kleiner Gastraum, große Terrasse, tolle frische Küche. Auch für Vegetarier findet sich etwas gutes zu Essen. Preise gehen in Ordnung, Wartezeit auf sein Essen sollte man einplanen, aber es lohnt sich.

Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Das Jägerschnitzel war total lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Heute waren wir das dritte Mal in der alten Winzerstube essen. Wir können das Restaurant immer noch sehr empfehlen.

Das Essen war wirklich gut. Wir hatten einen Mixgrill. Der Service war gut, aber manchmal etwas zu hektisch, was dazu führen kann, dass es unfreundlich wirkt.

Der Laden war voll! Also eigentlich gut fürs Ergebnis. Dennoch geht das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis garnicht. Wir sind wirklich viel unterwegs und erleben stets unterschiedliche gastronomische Darbietungen. So einfaches Futter für so viel Geld ist wirklich frech und vermessen. Der Service gibt sich viel Mühe!. Danke dafür! Aber sonst bitte nicht wieder!
