Chicken City Trier in Trier

Absolutely not recommended. The food tastes really bad and poor quality ingredients were used to prepare it. We had falafel and chicken but couldn't eat anything.

This evening we decided on Chicken City Trier. However, after reading the reviews, we didn't know what to expect. But we are glad we ordered from this place. Food arrived after 1 hour (journey times are at least 30 minutes and Saturdays are usually busy, so it's totally fine). We called to ask, but the boss couldn't tell us directly how long the food would be on the way, but he immediately called the driver and informed us straight away (food was there 2 minutes later). Everything was packaged extremely well, everything was still warm, even the "cigars" were still crispy (my child was really happy about it and it's not easy to please him). Everything was very well seasoned, ok... the salad could use a little salt, but it would be better that way than over salted and not edible. Everything was actually freshly prepared, the burger patty was homemade. Well cooked, not dry. The shawarma was spicy, juicy and very tasty. There were as many sauces as you wanted, the sheep's cheese cream was phenomenal: light, fresh, delicious, well seasoned (my husband doesn't normally eat sheep's cheese, he even ate it). Due to the minimum order value of 50€, we ordered a lot (there is also food for tomorrow 🤣🤣) But we would LOVE to order something there again at any time. Thank you. Best regards Vollert family

The food was faulty, instead of Schwarma we received a cold roll and fries in an extra pack. But I ordered a roll.

Chicken wings consist only of breading and have not seen an ounce of seasoning. Half a chicken from the grill looks like a car had driven over it, it was so flat. Completely burnt and like the wings, never seen any seasoning. The best thing was the rice. Free drinks were not included either. After the review on Lieferando, I got a call from the “restaurant”. They probably wanted to deliver me chicken again. But no thanks, once was enough.

Completely horrible. Ordered “Chicken for 2”. In the box there was an excessive amount of fries with 2 small chicken nuggets (probably from the net), 2 crispy chicken (unseasoned) and 2 small cheese sticks. In addition, the quality of the meat was significantly low. This meal is definitely not intended for 2 people...it was a happy meal with just a lot of fries and no taste. Demanding €20 for something like that is absolutely incomprehensible. If you're hungry for good food, you don't need to order here.

After I realized that the card in the store did not match the one from Lieferando and tried in vain to call the phone number provided for 20 minutes, I got in the car and wanted to return the order directly to the store. Unfortunately, it was closed and not just for a few minutes, but rather for days. After a long search and a new function on Google (chat things), I received a cell phone number in response to my message there, without any further information. This call was one of the unfriendly calls I've ever had to make to a restaurant, unfortunately after a few minutes on both sides because at some point I couldn't remain friendly anymore. You are well aware of the error on the Lieferando card, but you probably don't care. I was subsequently assured that they would contact Lieferando. Apparently the cooking and delivery is now done from a different shop and has probably been taken over by another restaurant. I'm now waiting for my "replacement delivery". But after the phone call, I'm not sure whether I want to eat these with a clear conscience, despite being really hungry now. It's a shame because I really liked the store up to that point. Update: Replacement delivery arrived warm and was pretty good too. BUT be careful: If you have a bad review, you will be contacted several times by phone call and WhatsApp.

The chicken is disgusting and the feathers were not plucked and cleaned well.

Bestellt auf Abholung. Essen war leider nicht pünktlich fertig und es erschien als selbstverständlich noch weitere 20 min zu warten. Pommes sind eine Beleidigung, lasst die lieber weg! Chicken war ok. Dip hat nach nichts geschmeckt. Preisleistung nicht fair. Wir werden dort nicht mehr bestellen.

A great place for “American-style” fried chicken. Staff is friendly, service is fast, chicken is deliciously spiced, fried and juicy. ‘City Menu 3’ is featured in the picture.

Fahrer sehr freundlich Kartoffeln haben leider in Fett geschwommen, dadurch sehr matschig Burger eigentlich sehr gut, war nur zu kalt

War nicht gut hab nach einem schawarma gefragt und hab dönerfleich mit sauce und ekelhaften essig gurken in einem fladen brot gekriekt es wäre wenigsten leckerer mit tomaten und richtigen gurken

Chicken Burger war sehr lecker und für den Preis eine gute Portion! Schnelle Lieferung, gerne wieder.

Wir hatten bestellt , der Fahrer war sehr nett, das Essen war sehr sehr gut :) Wir hatten Falafel, Chrispy Chicken mit Pommes und Tabouleh Salat, es waren sehr große Portionen sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. :) Ich kann nichts anderes als euch weiter zu empfehlen. :)

Schneller Service über Lieferando! Der Chef persönlich ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten eine Pizza, einen Burger und Crispy Chicken. War alles in Ordnung

Die Bestellung erfolgte via Lieferando, so haben sie gleich alles schriftlich, wie man die Pizza belegt haben möchte. Die Lieferzeit war mit gut einer Stunde noch im Rahmen, dass Essen kam noch gut warm an, der Fahrer war auch sehr nett. Die Pizzen sind sehr reichlich und gut belegt, da reicht eine 30cm-Pizza vollkommen aus. Geschmacklich sehr gut, nichts überwürzt, hier sprechen die Zutaten für sich. Der Teig war luftig, nicht sonderlich kross, was aber in keiner Weise fehlte. Für eine leckere Pizza zum bringen werden wir gerne hier wieder bestellen! :-)
