We chose the restaurant because of the good reviews. We cannot understand this. The ambience seems rather simple, but the service is very courteous. The food we ordered was disappointing - too expensive for a snack and far too little for a reasonable meal. The taste is far removed from good Indian cuisine - a shame! Meals have more of a canteen feel.

Very tasty food in a small restaurant

Terrible food and the bill was not itemised with just a final random sum which included spices which she claimed had to be paid for as extras and not included in the curry. The food was tasteless, it bore no resemblance to the description on the board and it consisted of a large amount of white rice which was not wam and obviously poorly reheated and every dish in my party of four looked and tasted awful. We left most of it. Do not visit this place, we were even asked to clear our table and were ripped off re the bill.

So good! Even for a wheat allergic veggie like me such a big variety and spicy if you ask for it. Delicious, friendly, cosy.

Were in Hamburg for a musical and were looking for a restaurant nearby and came across this great restaurant. Really excellent food, very courteous and friendly service and all in a nice and original atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

We had booked meals from Maaya's for a small party. Communication went super smoothly and all of my inquiries/extra requests were answered. The food was ready on time and perfectly prepared for transport. We had ordered “meals” for our party. The food was super tasty, authentic Tamil, and the food portion was also great. All of our guests were satisfied. We would definitely recommend Maaya's.

Very long waiting time after 2 hours of food being served, taste bad

Had a really nice experience at Kulinari. It was a quiet Saturday night still during the off season. Asparagus soup and salad starters were very good. Lasagna and curry chicken dishes were excellent with large portions. Even with drinks, bill less than 60€ for two. Service was very good for German standards as chef both served our main dishes and came by to ask how things were. We can definitely recommend.

Will recommend this place 100% for South indian cuisine and vibes. I can't believe they played tamil 90s Tamil songs that I grew up listening to. It felt so nostalgic. The food was simply amazing. We bought Masala Dosa and Adu Kari set menu. It was so delicious, and the batter for both dosa and appam was fermented well.
