I’ve tried several places around here, but this one stands out as the best spot for authentic traditional food. The flavours are incredible, and the experience is unmatched. Absolutely loved it! A must-visit for all food lovers.

I had the pleasure of trying their chicken kottu, appa with fish curry, and lamb kottu, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The lamb kottu, in particular, was outstanding—generous portions of tender meat and perfectly spiced. The fish curry was rich, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the soft, fluffy appam. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. While the drinks are a bit pricey, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I had a very cozy and relaxing evening at Sigiriya Restaurant. It reminded me of my trip to Sri Lanka last year and I felt very comfortable. The food is very tasty and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. I'll be happy to come back.

A small cute restaurant. We were nearby quite spontaneously and were thrilled by the selection of vegan dishes. We chose the 28 and 51 and the Päni APPA for dessert. It was very tasty, so we definitely want to come back. Clear recommendation.

As a biryani enthusiast, I was eager to try their version—and it was absolutely phenomenal! The biryani was perfectly cooked, with fragrant basmati rice, tender and juicy pieces of meat, and a symphony of spices that danced on my palate. The balance of flavors was spot on, making it one of the best biryanis I've ever had.

Do you know when food just makes you happy because it's so good? That's how it was with my companion and me. The food was really delicious and the owners are also from Sri Lanka. We didn't know what to eat because everything sounded great. So we were briefly advised and got really good food. We can only recommend it!!

I honestly wondering such a high rate. The service is nice, but the food was really not good! All dishes were without a strong taste, really plain! The chicken dry and hard.. I would not recommend it

The quality of foods is very low and it is not proper sri lankan foods. Cook should get more cookery lessons from sri lankan authentic kitchen or hire a professional cook from sri lanka.

Lovely place and quick service. I had the chicken curry but the flavours were mild and diluted. The curries need to have more gravy and the lassi seemed expensive for the portion.

We were really looking forward to the visit as we really missed Sri Lankan food. Unfortunately, the food disappointed us. The curries we had were all rather bland and tasted almost like nothing. The hoppers were good. The service was also very friendly. But almost 120 € for three people is not justified.

The food is not quite like the original. Similar to Indian food but tasteless and very unseasoned. Small portions and high pricing for no good reason

Take the Appe (50-53) or Kottu Rotti (45-47) and youll be so happy :)

Very tasty food and drinks!!! Highly recommend the tea of fresh orange, cinnamon, cloves and honey. I never thought of putting cloves into a drink. It had a refreshing taste from the orange and aromatic flavors from spices. These two curries served with appe taste decent too.

The food is just 1a super delicious and the drinks are great too. However, unfortunately you're still hungry afterwards and that's the reason why I go far too rarely. I had the lamb for around €17. Given the quality, the portion is certainly appropriate for the price, but I would prefer €5 more pay and would at least be full. So that's why I'm deducting a star, no matter what I've had here so far, unfortunately it's just too little and therefore doesn't fill you up, which is a real shame given this great food and I think for some people it's the reason why you don't go there so often. So please think about your portions and then feel free to adjust the prices. Then I would eat out a lot more often because the food is great!

Excellent Sri Lankan restaurant in Grünberger Str, I ordered a Chicken kottu and it was delicious, authentic, very flavorful with excellent proportions. Well worth the price. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing. If you are in the area I highly recommend you check out Sigiriya Restaurant. You don't want to miss out on this place.

Great Sri Lankan restaurant in Berlin! I tried the chicken kottu, lamb kottu, and appa with fish curry. The lamb kottu was a standout—generous portions of meat and very flavorful. The fish curry was incredible, and the service was friendly and attentive. Only downside was the price of drinks, and the sambola could be improved as it wasn’t quite up to standard. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend, especially for Sri Lankans craving a taste of home!

Leuk klein restaurantje; wij zaten gezellig buiten (het regende maar er is een groot afdak). Zoon heeft coeliakie en wij werden aangetrokken door de "glutenvrije opties". Dat was geweldig: heel erg veel keuze omdat ook de noedels en pannenkoekjes met rijstmeel worden gemaakt. We vroegen of het "echt heel erg glutenvrij was want coeliakie..." en de serveerster knikte heel beleefd, waardoor we niet wisten of ze ons begreep in ons matige Duits of gewoon beleefd wilde zijn en daarom ja zei maar we hebben het erop gegokt omdat ze op de kaart overal duidelijk bij hadden gezet (per gerecht) of iets glutenvrij was of niet. Wij aten de "hoppers" (leuke gefrituurde rijstpannenkoekjes) met allerlei groentengerechtjes en alles was heel erg lekker en ook heel betaalbaar.

the kottu was pretty good, not exceptional and definitely needed more salt, and more flavour in general. the curries looked super good though and menu was typically Sri Lankan. sweet staff, nice chill local vibe. would come again to have hoppers & curry 😇 (half vegan menu, half that you can add meat or fish :))

The food was okay, but not as Sri Lankan as I have experienced in the country. So unfortunately not a highlight in Berlin. The price-performance ratio is semi-good, the portions are small for the price. I had appa with eggplant curry and sambal pol. The curry came in a mini bowl and was definitely not enough for 4 large Appa flatbread bowls (more like only 2). Unfortunately, the flatbread bowls arrived 5-10 minutes after the eggplants, so my food was rather cold. :( The staff was really nice. We asked if the window could be closed because it was very cool last night. Unfortunately they forgot this and other guests sat down so they could no longer close the window. I probably won't come again. A pity!

So the food wasn't really bad, but unfortunately it didn't really taste like anything either. The portion is small, costs as much as a large, normal portion and unfortunately the taste is somehow lacking. All of the meat-free options are vegan, but I don't think they're that good either. The strawberry lassi is an absolute highlight.

Went on Saturday evening no crowd at all. Get plain Hoppers which are soggy and blent Don't recommended) and nothing is provided to dip in And vadai is also not tasty at all but served with jam but a good combo We Get mutton biryani and chicken biriyani But its not buriyani at all Just chicken curry and mutton curry mixed with basmati rice with excess oil. They use an excess amount of salad that does not cut the stems of the leaves also very uncomfortable to eat Service was good

Interesting food, unfortunately the service was probably new and quite overwhelmed, even though it wasn't that busy. There were two of us, our dishes didn't come together, cutlery was missing, both dishes were only lukewarm.

Overall it was okay: Service was rather weak - that's okay if you're quieter, but you could ask if you'd like something else to drink and how it tasted. Portions rather small. The taste was good, but nothing special. Would rather not come back.

The food was very interesting to try, however, the portions were pretty small. It does not look like it on the pictures, but there is one layer of food that is just spread over a plate. If one is really hungry, these portions will not make you full. Mango lassi was awful..

The eggplant and pol sambole appe are delicious. But there are also many other delicious dishes. It's just something special. You feel really good afterwards because the food is also very healthy. Also great for vegetarians. The employees are very friendly. I always enjoy going there.

The beetroot curry was great and very spicy. Also they make some amazing appams. Just Don't order the kottu parotta here.
