Very good food (and drinks). No matter whether fish or meat. There were 7 of us there and everyone went home more than thrilled. Only recommended!

From the outside, the shop looks very unassuming and hardly inviting, but that changes immediately as soon as you step inside. The service is informal, friendly, approachable, and worth a hug. The food is freshly prepared, which is why it sometimes takes a while, but the results are dreamy and couldn't be better on any vacation trip to Portugal. Always a recommendation.

The restaurant has been very stylishly renovated and furnished; it's truly something special. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and everything is quick and efficient, even on a Saturday night. The menu has also expanded; there's now a good selection for vegetarians and delicious tapas. The food is presented in a very appealing way and tastes good, and the prices are reasonable. We'd love to come back 😊

Auf einer Kurzreise nach Leipzig sind wir zufällig am Casa Madeira vorbeigekommen und haben uns gefreut, mal wieder portugiesisch essen zu können. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Vinho Verde ein Traum. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Es waren leider nur wenige Tische besetzt - vielleicht zu wenig Bekanntheit: Leute, esst im Casa Madeira! Es schmeckt definitiv nach Urlaub in Portugal.

Today I went to Mario's for the first time with my wife and children. We were all very happy with the food and the ambience. Really authentic food like in Portugal and very fair prices. We'll definitely come by more often.

Now you can eat a lot and you can eat better. I've been there several times and I can only say that I'll go back many more times. The food is amazing.

We spent a wonderful and delicious evening with Anabela and Marion. We were delighted by the quality and deliciousness of the food, as well as the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. Anabela went to great lengths to accommodate our special requests and found a fantastic way to treat us to almost all of the evening's delicacies. Not to mention the very personal, friendly, and professional service! It felt like we were staying with two friends. We fell into bed satisfied and full and would love to come back!

This tiny Portuguese gem has a lot to offer! The grilled seafood selection is outstanding, with every dish cooked to perfection. The octopus, in particular, was a highlight—better than some I’ve had in Portugal itself. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the friendly waitstaff make the experience even better. If you're looking for authentic flavors and top-notch service, this place is a must-visit. Can't recommend it more!

Am Tag vor unserer Reservierung bekamen wir eine Bestätigung, am Tag unserer Reservierung fiel Franco ein, dass er seinen Laden renoviert und wir ins Westminster kommen müssen. Vorweg gab es Aufbackbrötchen und irgend etwas fettiges ohne Geschmack. Die Scampis werden nicht mehr flambiert, der Fisch ist trocken und kommt mit eiskalten Antipasti (?), das Fleisch war auf den Punkt gegart, dazu ein paar Kartoffeln, die vielleicht mal neben Rosmarin lagen, Dessert bestand aus billigem, künstlichen Erdbeereis und Fertigkuchen aus dem Discounter, 79€ dafür plus Getränke. Früher war Franco mal ein Grant für einen tollen Abend. Jetzt ist es leider schlecht und nicht mehr empfehlenswert. Wir waren immer gerne dort. Waren! Gestern das letzte Mal.

The Café Restaurant Portugal in Backnang is a real gem! A family-run restaurant that impresses with great attention to detail and a strong focus on quality. The “hot stone” in particular is my insider tip – perfect for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a larger portion of meat, accompanied by delicious homemade fries. Another delight are the prawns, which can be ordered by the half or whole kilo – incredibly fresh and served with a fantastic sauce. A real treat! Even if it's not officially on the menu: if you ask, you can get the grilled octopus in olive oil, which is simply heavenly. Everyone will find something here and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable in the region. Absolutely recommended!
