The food was very good. Unfortunately, it was very cold. The reason for this wasn't explained. In my opinion, the service was understaffed, and everything took quite a while. With more warmth and staff, it would have been a 5-star experience 😀

The main course was delicious and plentiful, except for the €3.50 for four slices of bread. There were two of us, and we ordered two dips and bread as a starter. The four slices of bread were quickly eaten, so we ordered more. We ended up paying €7 for bread, which is simply outrageous. Bread and water should always be included free of charge. Of course, then you can discuss the prices, but €7.50 for a glass of wine is steep. So, in the future, I won't order a starter, and I'll only order one glass of wine at most.

Everything was perfect: very attentive and friendly service. This started days in advance with the phone call when we made the table reservation. What should really be a given was a real highlight here and shows that, unfortunately, many other restaurants have fallen short when it comes to service. Here at Casa Nonina, you feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was delicious, and the value for money was excellent. We will definitely be back. It's a shame we didn't discover this restaurant sooner.

We went out for dinner again today, and it was delicious once more. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience last time. I ordered lamb chops, but there were only two on my plate. The third piece was just some bit of lamb, not a chop at all. It was a shame, and everything was lukewarm, especially considering the price. What a disappointment!

Such a lovely restaurant. We went there for the first time today with a group of 10 people, and everyone really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. The young man who served us was extremely attentive, friendly, and competent. He handled the entire service in the dining room, including drinks, and we never had to wait! Huge compliments for that! And a big compliment to the kitchen too! The prices are justified by the quality. We look forward to coming back soon!

We were here and tried the Carne Alentejana – simply fantastic! The meat was super tender, the mussels fresh, and the potatoes wonderfully crispy. Everything was perfectly seasoned and truly authentic. The restaurant itself completely won us over: cozy atmosphere, very friendly service, and truly excellent cuisine. I highly recommend it.

We visited here for the first time yesterday thanks to a voucher book/snack list. The ambiance inside is very cozy, and there's appropriate background music. The service is excellent; you're greeted as soon as you enter the restaurant and served quickly and attentively. The food is a delight and beautifully presented. A superb restaurant in every respect. The food was delicious, and for a moment, we felt like we were back on vacation in Portugal. I had the green-lipped mussels, my husband had the sea bream. We were both thrilled.

The Bacalhau à Braga was served in a special way – not as a whole piece, but as a delicate, delicious variation, almost like a savory tart. The preparation was perfect: an authentic, traditional dish full of flavor. The shrimp salad, fresh, aromatic, and wonderfully balanced, was a real highlight. The service was attentive and warm, and the atmosphere was pleasantly cozy and authentic. A piece of Portugal in the heart of Bochum – highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!

The food was okay. They asked for the doneness of the meat. If you order medium and get well done, you don't need to ask. The service was friendly and the decor attractive. The prices are appropriate for the area.

Very friendly service. The terrace was right on the street, but it wasn't a problem at all. The ticking pedestrian crossing was a bit annoying. We both had sea bream, absolutely excellent. Highly recommended.

One summer evening, we went to the restaurant for dinner. The ambiance is quite pleasant, with solid wood tables and decorations, although the painted walls don't always match the decor, and a miniature guillotine on the urinal in the men's restroom borders on bad taste. The group ordered appetizers, both fish and meat dishes, and dessert. Some dishes were very good, others mediocre. The service was friendly, if a bit slow, despite the lack of activity that evening. One unpleasant detail arose when paying: We were presented with a somewhat high total bill (30% more than expected) without any itemization of the individual items. Only at my insistence was the list presented, and before I could check it, the waiter went back to correct it and returned with the correct bill.

The restaurant scores points with its pleasant ambiance, beautiful cutlery and tableware, and the service is friendly. An amuse-bouche and limoncello greet the guests from the kitchen. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, starting with the aioli, which was sweet, lemony, and far too thick. The salad itself was delicious, but poorly cleaned; I kept biting into sand and dirt. The grilled potatoes, which according to the menu were supposed to be mashed and covered in garlic oil, were simply three potatoes swimming in oil without any garlic. The grilled peppers a la ratatouille were grilled vegetables that were also drenched in oil, and the juice from the passion fruit spritzer was also far from being overpowering. All of this is no big deal, but there's still room for improvement, especially considering the prices. I paid over €30 for a side salad, aioli, and two vegetarian tapas, so I expected more.

What an incredible dining experience! I ordered a reap-eye steak with potato chips, and it was simply divine. The steak had a perfect texture and a wonderful flavor. The potato chips were crispy and delicious, and the salad was fresh and tasty. Congratulations to the restaurant for such authentic and delicious food! I can't wait to return and try more Portuguese dishes. I recommend it to anyone who loves good food and a welcoming atmosphere!

A great place. Delicious food, very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating staff. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a slight hint of spice. The appetizers were also unusual and delicious. The adjacent ice cream parlor (owned by the same business) also offers good seating, and the ice cream is also highly recommended. It's a great value for money! Definitely recommended!!!

We found the restaurant through the Kulinaris Card and were very impressed. The restaurant has a few tables inside, but the same number on the terrace. We visited Casa Nonina for the first time today; we heard about it through the Schlemmerblock (a German magazine). It was fantastic! Very friendly staff, we felt very comfortable. The quality of the food was very good, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. They even served a nice limoncello to start with, which was perfect all around :)

I visited the restaurant on the recommendation of friends and I was absolutely thrilled! The place is decorated with attention to detail and the service is very attentive and takes the time to chat and make you feel at home. But you don't just come for a nice looking restaurant and friendly staff, but for the food and there was no room for complaint there either. I ordered the Posta Mirandesa and the meat was grilled to perfection as I had requested and was also very well seasoned. I also thought it was great that there was a selection of sauces so that you could enjoy the meat in a variety of ways. Big praise for the kitchen. But to get to the point: the recommendation was definitely worth paying the restaurant a visit and it was definitely not the last time I was there.

Good afternoon, I came to praise the Casa Nonina restaurant. Yesterday we went there for the first time to have dinner, and we were very well received by the waiters. And not to mention the incredible menu! Among so many options, I chose the famous “grilled lamb ribs”, which were delicious! Each succulent piece is breathtaking! I recommend Casa Nonina to all my friends, and I will definitely go back again, 10 out of 10!

Tried it out with the Kulinariscard. The meat skewer was very good and so was the game ragout. You don't expect it from the Portuguese, but when the owners have their own hunt... Excellent service and a rustic atmosphere made for a successful evening! We'd love to come back!

The staff are very friendly and attentive, and everything is quick and efficient, even on a Saturday night. The menu has also expanded; there's now a good selection for vegetarians and delicious tapas. The food is presented in a very appealing way and tastes good, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere and staff were absolutely recommendable. Very smartly furnished; friendly service staff who specifically asked what exactly was included in the dish. The food wasn't bad, but there was a little too much fat for my taste (which is probably typical of Portuguese cuisine)

Chic Portuguese restaurant, a lot of attention was paid to decoration. You sit at heavy, rustic wooden tables, which are unfortunately a bit crooked. You always have to be careful that the glasses don't slip down. Atmospheric murals and lots of decorative elements on the tables and around them. Every guest immediately receives a lime liqueur and a bowl of olives for free. At the end there was a homemade liqueur for all guests to try. The staff very friendly and helpful. But none of that can hide the fact that the portions are a bit too small. There's not enough on offer here for the price. I had 3 small lamb chops, a bit of decorative spinach and 4 small potatoes. A full-grown person won't get enough of it. Why not add a little more of the cheap ingredients here? This way the guests get full and come back. Luckily we saved the price of a dish with the voucher book, otherwise we would have been very annoyed that evening.

This visit, last year in October, was something completely different. Having become attentive and curious thanks to the Kulinaris Card, we reserved a table. The staff was attentive and courteous at all times. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was also great. We decided we wanted to come back.

We ate here for the first time on Sunday, it really tasted very good, the atmosphere is really nice and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We can't entirely share the glowing reviews here. Super nice restaurant/ambience. When I ate it, my venison bratwurst seemed like it had been warmed up a second time and looked like a Frikandel. At least it wasn't freshly fried. Unfortunately, my comment on this was simply ignored. Overall, given the prices, we don't recommend it. And we had to look into the scullery the whole time, which didn't whet our appetite.

Today we spontaneously went to this absolutely wonderful, authentic Portuguese restaurant. The food immediately gave us a holiday feeling, and the service was second to none. We also had a really good conversation with the owner couple, very friendly by the way 😘 Unfortunately we don't know the name of our waitress, but we would like to thank you very much for this wonderful evening 😎 We can highly recommend the Arroz de Marisco and we will be back, because we are curious about your Cataplana 😉 Dare, Portuguese cuisine is a burner😎

We went to Casa Nonina with our family for the first time on Saturday. The place was full (we made reservations a week in advance). Top food, top service, top ambience, I can only recommend it. I ordered Tomahawk Steak with fresh homemade potato chips, extremely satisfied, the quality is top. We would love to come back 😁😁😁😁

Simply recommended – a pleasure across the board! The restaurant is decorated with taste and a cozy atmosphere. The staff is nice and friendly, especially Robin, who takes excellent care of all guests. His good suggestions, charming comments and humorous small talks will make you feel like a welcome guest in your own home. The food was extremely tasty and of very good quality. The gesture of serving olives and lupins as a small greeting from the kitchen with the drinks was particularly thoughtful - a harmonious detail that rounded off the evening.

The ice cream was really good and for €9 it was a reasonable portion. The service was nice, but I found it a bit hectic because some of the ingredients had to be fetched from the restaurant next door. This can be avoided as it gives the customer the feeling that something might be wrong.

Were there the day before yesterday. Apart from the meat skewer, which was tough and therefore inedible, there was no new one despite a complaint! But it was fully charged on the invoice! Otherwise everything was good.

We were there for the first time. We really enjoyed the meal with home-made French fries and delicious grilled beef. Some olives and I think some beans were put on the table in advance. Everything was appetizingly prepared. Given the high prices, I missed a small side salad or a salad decoration on the plate for the small portion. Well, there was a short one at the end. Not everyone does that either. The service was friendly. In any case, the interior was cozy and unusual. However, sitting outside on the street was a bit too noisy for us. But we'll definitely be back.

It is a Portuguese restaurant in Bochum Stiepel with excellent quality at reasonable prices. We were there for dinner, shared a starter, the beef skewer and a fish dish. Everything was to our satisfaction. The staff was always attentive and tried hard and the atmosphere is great. The ice cream parlor next door also belongs to the owner and invites you to have dessert if you're not full enough!

A great restaurant, the boss and the employees are very hospitable, you immediately feel comfortable sitting there and eating. The food was very tasty and I can only recommend it.
