unkompliziert, herzlich! Mega Pizza mit Auberginen!

Ein unscheinbares, aber sehr angenehmes Lokal! Die Einrichtung ist nicht weltbewegend, aber das Essen und der Service umso besser. Zudem genügend Abstand zu anderen Tischen und von der Lautstärke überraschend angenehm. Sowohl die Vorspeise, als auch das Hauptgericht super lecker. Die Pizza war gut zubereitet und war reichlich belegt. Panacotta als Nachtisch war auch in der perfekten Konsistenz und nicht zu süß. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen!

Leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Etwas versteckt in der Seitenstraße, aber definitiv einen Abstecher wert.

Fünf von fünf italienischen Sternen! Nichts für den schmalen Geldbeutel, aber definitiv etwas für den feinen Geschmack. Ob Wein, Aperol oder Bier – hier ist alles ein Erlebnis. Absolut empfehlenswert! Wer in Bochum eine richtig gute Pizza sucht, muss hierher kommen.

Sehr lecker aber unterirdisches Ambiente, wir saßen über einer Lüftungs-Turbine der Boden vibrierte - das muss man erst mal schaffen auszublenden...

Wir sind auf Empfehlung mit 4 Personen hier gewesen. Wir hatten 4 Pizzen, die alle sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Der Belag war aus frischen Zutaten. Als Nachspeise hatten wir Tiramisu, was absolut zu empfehlen ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam.

Alles mit Burrata ist ein Traum!

Gutes und sehr schmackhaftes Essen, die Aperitifs könnten allerdings etwas weniger eiswürfellastig sein. Am Wochenende verkürzte Verweilzeiten sind auch nicht jedermanns Geschmack.

Wir waren heute bei Giuseppe und absolut begeistert, geniales Essen, toller Service. Wenn wir nicht von so weit weg kommen würden, hätten wir hier unseren neuen Stammitaliener.

Hat uns ganz gut gefallen, der Service könnte ein wenig aufmerksamer sein. Das Essen war gut und liegt in einer annehmbaren Preisspanne, einzig die Parkplatzsituation am Sonntag ist grausig, da das Parkhaus um Eck geschlossen ist.

Wir, relativ jung aussehende Erwachsene, waren, auf Empfehlung, zum ersten Mal hier und fanden das Essen wirklich gut. Leider war der Service sehr enttäuschend. Während der Kellner an allen umliegenden Tischen, an denen ältere Personen saßen, regelmäßig nachfragte, ob alles passt, wurden wir komplett ignoriert. Leere Getränke wurden nicht bemerkt, auf Winken reagierte niemand, und nach der Hauptspeise hätten wir gerne noch einen Nachtisch bestellt, auch dies war nicht möglich. Am Ende saßen wir fast 45 Minuten ohne Bedienung da und mussten schließlich selbst nach vorne gehen, um zu bezahlen. Es entstand leider sehr der Eindruck, dass wir aufgrund unseres jungen Aussehens nicht ernst genommen wurden. Sehr schade, denn das Essen war wirklich gut - aber bei dem Service würden wir nicht nochmal wiederkommen.

Unser absoluter Lieblingsitaliener! Das Essen ist jedes Mal unglaublich lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Die Inhaber und das gesamte Team sind außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Für uns ist es jedes Mal wie ein kleiner Besuch bei Freunden. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne!

Ich war mit 2 Kumpels da. Wir waren wirklich zufrieden.

Tagliatelle mit Waldpilzen und Salciccia waren weich und insgesamt war die Portion auch viel zu groß = viel zu viele Nudeln, zu wenig Rest. Ich würde schätzen mindestens 200 Gramm Rohnudeln. Das mundet dem deutschen Gaumen sicherlich und der freut sich über die üppige Portion. Aber wer hier einen anständigen italienischen Italiener sucht wie beim Vorgänger, der wird hier nun enttäuscht.

Essen war sehr gut, lecker und frisch. Etwas höher im Preis jedoch sehr gute Qualität. Ambiente angenehm. Getränke auch gute Auswahl. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne hätten wir einen Absacker gehabt, leider hat niemand gefragt.

Die italienischen Pizzen sind köstlich, der Service ist schnell und freundlich, und die Atmosphäre ist herrlich... Wir mussten leider etwas zu schnell essen und gehen, aber wir planen, so bald wie möglich wiederzukommen.

Wir waren an unserem Starlight Express Wochenende bei Guiseppe. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt, Vorspeise Bruschetta, dann Pasta / Cannelloni und zum Abschluss leckere Desserts. Am Besten und das ist uns aufgefallen: eine familiärer Service, tolles und freundliches Personal! Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, wir wollten gar nicht mehr gehen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen. I recently ate at Pizzeria Giuseppe in Bochum and was very disappointed. I had bruschetta as a starter, which was fine, but the pizza was a complete disaster. I ordered a Pizza Funghi, but was served one with ham and mushrooms, even though I had specifically requested a vegetarian option. As a vegetarian, I sent it back, expecting them to make a new pizza. Instead, the waiter – who is also the owner – brought the pizza back a short time later and assured me he hadn't forgotten about me, trusting that the pizza was indeed meat-free. However, upon closer inspection, it became obvious that they had simply removed the ham instead of making a fresh pizza – I only noticed this after I had started eating. There were still bits of meat everywhere. When I asked about it, they even confirmed that they had simply removed the meat – along with a rather flimsy excuse. In my opinion, this is an absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful way to treat customers who have specific dietary requirements. That's a real shame – this is how you lose trust! Also, an appetizer was served as dessert because it had been forgotten.

Wir waren dort spontan ohne Reservierung. Ein kleines Lokal mit Charme. Das Essen war schnell serviert. Nettes Personal und toller Service. Es gab nichts, was man hätte bemängeln könnte. Das Essen sieht nicht nur extrem lecker aus, sondern das ist es auch. So wünscht man sich das Überall. Die Portionen waren auch klasse. Nicht zu wenig und auch nicht zu viel. Perfekt 👍🏻

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. A very pleasant place, with especially delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, where the owner personally attends to the guests. Upon request, an excellent grappa was served, as well as a dessert that left nothing to be desired for my partner and me. Please call or reserve in advance!

My pizza was great, but the wait was a disaster. It was quite obvious they were trying to maximize their drink sales, as the place wasn't even that busy. To make matters worse, one person in our group received cannelloni instead of lasagna without any explanation, but we didn't complain because after waiting over 40 minutes, we just wanted to eat.

Great Italian restaurant with incredibly delicious pizza. We arrived without a reservation and luckily got the last table. Better to make a reservation. We received a friendly welcome and were greeted with two pizza rolls. The bruschetta was delicious, and the pizza was fantastic. I enjoyed every bite and even ate the crust. I've tried a lot of pizzas, but this one easily makes the top 10.

The quality of the food, especially dish number 42, was truly impressive. However, the experience with the service and the table reservation was all the more disappointing. When we made the reservation, a specific length of stay was agreed upon, which is unusual. Despite this clear agreement, we were asked to vacate our table before the time was up because other guests were waiting. This approach is unprofessional and contradicts the hospitality we expect from an Italian/Sicilian restaurant. It gives the impression that maximizing table occupancy takes priority over keeping agreements and guest satisfaction. Due to this experience, we will unfortunately not visit the restaurant again, even though we enjoyed the food.

Giuseppe's is simply a fantastic restaurant. My wife and I felt completely at home from the very first minute and were warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly Italian staff. Everything just worked out, and it felt like we were on vacation for a while. The pizzas and tiramisu were incredibly delicious, and we haven't had such a lovely and delicious meal in a long time. I highly recommend the restaurant.

We were visiting because of Starlight Express and were looking for a delicious dinner. I was able to easily make a reservation online in advance. We were very impressed by the quality of the food and the selection on the weekly menu! The prices are reasonable, the service very friendly, and all in all, authentic. Highly recommended.

I went to this restaurant/pizzeria for dinner and, to try authentic Italian pizza, I ordered a Margherita pizza. Truly excellent, with a tasty tomato sauce and a very light and digestible dough, which doesn't require any water overnight. Highly recommended if you want to eat authentic Italian pizza.

A very nice restaurant with an equally nice owner. Limited outdoor seating is also available. Italian dishes, from pizza to fish, are moderately priced. The pizzas are a bit different from other places, interesting and delicious. I recently had a pepe verde filet there, which was also excellent. For me, the best Italian restaurant in Bochum!

I made a reservation for Monday (May 26th) and made the reservation on Sunday and haven't received any message from the restaurant. Only today (Tuesday, May 27th) did I receive a cancellation regarding the reservation. You guys are funny. If it takes two days to respond to a reservation, then you're doing something wrong by making the customer wait and then, when it's too late, canceling the reservation. Or not even offering a reservation if there's no response.

I used to be satisfied, but this time it was truly disappointing. There was barely any topping on the pizza, and everything was carelessly made.

I went to this restaurant for the first time today and I have to say I'm impressed. Pizza always works, but not everyone gets the dough right... With Giuseppe everything worked together really well. The dough, the tomato sauce, the Italian salami (spianata), the burrata 😍👌 very nice waiters, a little greeting on the house at the beginning.... Gladly again 😊👍

A very nice restaurant, Italian, located a bit on the side street but you can find it with Google even if you don't know the area. Very nice staff, good value for money and the food tastes great. I can highly recommend it.

I have been to this restaurant several times, the last one a week ago with friends. A good Italian restaurant in the center of Bochum, friendly and approachable staff. Italian appetizer that made me feel at home. I have personally eaten meat. It was really well cooked and it's not always easy to find around. My friends had pizza and it looked really good. I must say even better than the first time I went to eat at this restaurant. I will definitely be back!

We ate very well there two days in a row. The service was excellent, as was the food. It was a very nice atmosphere and we felt really comfortable. Thank you very much for that and maybe we will be in Bochum again, then gladly again.

It's just that finding a parking space isn't that easy for people who don't live there. Please maintain the authenticity and quality of the food. You are a “pearl” in the region. Parking situation: There is a parking garage opposite...we didn't see it on our first visit (in the dark).

We celebrated my birthday at Guiseppe with 11 people. We were all very satisfied!!! The food was great, everyone enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was very cozy! And the service was really great!!! We will definitely celebrate there again and can really recommend the restaurant!!! Thank you for the lovely evening!!!

Two of us were there on Friday evening without a reservation. Despite the fact that one or two tables for two were free, we were seated at the high table in the entrance area. It was drafty like a train station and extremely cold. Ordering and waiting time went quickly, but the pizza was disappointing... relatively small, tomato sauce was a bit empty and had no taste, the edges and base were partially burnt. Since we were there spontaneously from Bavaria, we thought that we had ended up at the right restaurant based on the reviews... Unfortunately, that was NOT the case.

No one is at the level of Restaurant Giuseppe, the quality of the Italian products is impeccable, as are the recipes it offers for its dishes. Shall we talk about pizza?
