Super nice atmosphere with very good service. We have never been disappointed, the food is of consistent quality, fine fish and meat dishes. It's always fun to visit the restaurant.

We were all very happy with the food. The service and ambiance were excellent! One point deducted due to the rather hefty price.

We were on the way home and spontaneously looked online for a good restaurant on our route. The food was (is) phenomenal. As the only Portuguese in our group of 5, I can confirm that this is the case. It is cooked traditionally Portuguese and it meets all expectations. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff is extremely friendly. At the end I went to the kitchen and left my praise right there. The next time you travel to the region, “comer na Quinta da luz” will be at the top of the list.

Lange, sehr lange waren wir nicht mehr im Quinta da Luz, und für unsere Freunde war es sogar eine Premiere... Ich hatte vom Besitzerwechsel gehört und kurzentschlossen für vier Personen reserviert. Ich war etwas verwundert darüber, dass das "Sommerhaus" auf der Neckarseite geöffnet war. Tatsächlich war der große, hohe Raum aber schon eine halbe Stunde später gut besetzt. Der Service hatte bereits darauf hingewiesen, dass es aufgrund eines Ausfalls zu Verzögerungen kommen könne. Aber bei uns lief alles wie am Schnürchen mit den richtigen Intervallen zwischen den Gängen... Ich hatte mich für Pasteis de Bacalhau und (das Kaninchenrisotto gab es leider nicht) für das Seeteufelrisotto entschieden - beides geschmacklich gut und die Fischportion so groß, dass für ein Dessert leider nicht mehr genügend Raum blieb. Dazu passend gab es White Port und Vinho Verde. Da alle sehr zufrieden waren, werden wir sicher in Kürze wieder vorbeikommen.

Wow, I haven't eaten so well for a long time and the restaurant is in a great location, a little irritated at first because of the entrance but then a very nice restaurant. Super nice service all around a great visit, I'll be back.

Run, don't walk, to this amazing restaurant in Neckarhausen. We have biked through the town on numerous occasions and my wife just did a random restaurant search and found this fantastic spot. Tasteful dining room with wonderful ambiance, great and attentive service, with excellent dinner and wine selection. We are looking forward to spring and summer when we can also enjoy the biergarten overlooking the Neckar River. Highly recommend this establishment.

You can have a bad day too. Unfortunately we weren't satisfied, for the really high prices (the two of us paid 155 euros with an aperitif, starter, main course and 3 drinks) the service and especially the cuisine weren't up to par Kitchen Really carelessly prepared, see photos, half a plate full of potatoes (?) for the main meat course, Pulpo salad very rustic - coarsely chopped tomatoes, taste ok. Lamb shoulder with mint (there is a sprig of mint on top, well, the description is correct...) Ambiance Empty, uncovered tables, even if they have not been reserved, do not make a nice impression I can't understand why we had to take this impression with us, we were looking forward to the great reviews and a nice evening - we were disappointed, it's a shame.

Magical! We were here at the beginning of December. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are transported to another world, a magical world. Discreet, tasteful decorations, the old building, which is a listed building, and the view of the Neckar are unique. The food deserves at least one star. The dishes are indescribably delicious and well presented and not at all "minimalistic" like in other restaurants in this price segment. The service was very friendly, relaxed, personable and competent in providing advice on the various Portuguese dishes and wines. Any time! Also worth mentioning is the option to reserve online, which I definitely recommend. I'm looking forward to a visit to the beer garden!

Very nice restaurant - we were there with friends - nice and unusual atmosphere - great service - food is delicious - just a little too expensive for the size of the portion - e.g. a greeting from the kitchen or more bread as a starter would be nice. Wine and drinks very suitable.

We really enjoyed staying here before the change of ownership. Even under the new management it still tastes good! The same employees should still cook. We are very pleased about that. As before, the ambience is very cozy and distinctive. Of course, the service employees also play a big part in this!

I had a wonderful dinner at Restaurant Quinta da Luz with a friend tonight . The ambiance was charming and intimate, perfect for a relaxing evening. We ordered a seafood dish, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The prawns, clams, and fish were all fresh and cooked to perfection, with a rich and flavorful broth that tied everything together. The staff was friendly and attentive, though service was a bit slower than expected, which is the only reason for not giving a full five stars. However, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal in a cozy atmosphere.

What an incredibly beautiful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and very, very friendly staff. Our fish dishes were so fresh, so aromatic, simply outstanding - every bite was a pleasure! Very nice atmosphere and the food tastes excellent.

Wir hatten einen 6- er Tisch am Fenster, sehr schön. Das leckere Brot im Säckchen auf dem Tisch haben wir erst entdeckt nachdem die Vorspeisen gegessen waren. Alle waren zufrieden. Preise sind hoch, darum sind wir nur in sehr großen Abständen dort. Lokal war gut besucht. Online Reservierung perfekt, mit Erinnerungs- Mail.

Fish dishes are great but the lamb is a matter of taste

Wir kommen seit einigen Jahren immer wieder hier her, um diesen wunderschönen Ort und das tolle Essen zu genießen, inzwischen auch mit 100km Anfahrt. Wir wurden bisher nie enttäuscht, sondern mit gleichbleibend hoher Qualität von Küche und Service belohnt. Danke!

We were able to spend a relaxing evening in the beautiful garden. The tables were beautifully set, the service was unobtrusive, friendly and professional. The food was very good, both in terms of taste and presentation. We heard that the restaurant will soon be handed over to a new owner. Those are big shoes for the successor to fill. We hope and wish the best.

Wir wohnen nicht weit von der Quinta da Luz und kommen seit etwa 20 Jahre mit Freunden und Familie hierher essen. Für uns ist die Quinta da Luz das beste Fischrestaurant in der Region! Auch andere Spezialitäten von der Karte haben wir über die Jahre gegessen (Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen, Desserts) und alle haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Neben der Küche kann ich den guten Service, die familiäre Atmosphäre hervorheben. Die Qualität ist über die Jahre konstant hoch geblieben. Daher ist das Restaurant bis in die Vorderpfalz hinein bekannt. Ab 01.10.24 wird das Restaurant von langjährigen Mitarbeitern übernommen. Ich hoffe das sich dadurch nichts an der Qualität ändert, wünsche der neuen Mannschaft viel Erfolg! RB

Very pleasant visit Great atmosphere, in a kind of old barn. With a view of the Neckar and a large window front. Lots of nice details. We were given a very friendly welcome and very good advice on choosing the wines. Pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. As a starter we had Pulpo salad (great!) and Gambas Piri-Piri. The prawns could have been a little spicier. The main courses are grilled Iberico and grilled entrecôte. Both excellent. Dessert: homemade apple tart and pickled apricots. Also highly recommended. A visit that was really worth the money. We'd love to come back.

Very good food. We drank gin and tonic. On the card it says 10 euros. 12 were charged. When asked, it was confirmed that the price on the card was 10 euros. Unfortunately there are no plans to give back the money that was overpaid.

Good quality, well prepared, nice atmosphere. But be careful: “Could we have some more bread?” costs €4.50 here. No deduction for this because it is also noted on the card, but I still find it a bit strange. Given the prices of the other dishes, one could assume that a little bread doesn't have to be charged extra. Everything else, however, is tip-top.

schönes Ambiente, allerdings groß und offen, somit recht laut bei voller Besetzung, aber geniales Essen, superfreundlicher Service, Preise angemessen

Für uns immer wie ein Tag Urlaub in Portugal. Sicher etwas hochpreisig, aber jeden Cent wert! Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Stockfischkrapfen, die Leber und vor allem der geschmorte Bacalau.

Phantastische Fischgerichte zu vernünftigen Preisen. 5 Sterne sind zu wenig, leider kann ich nicht mehr vergeben.

Was für eine kulinarische Oase! Authentisches und makelloses Essen, große Portion, idyllische Aussicht, nettes Personal, anständige Kundschaft und warmes Ambiente. Das Preisniveau ist hoch, aber gerechtfertigt. Der Tintenfischsalat und das Kaninchen sind meine Top Empfehlung! Ja wir kommen definitiv nicht oft hier, aber wir kommen definitiv wieder wenn es was Feierliches gibt, gerne mal im Sommer wenn man draußen sitzen kann.

Un placer al paladar, acogedor local, buen servicio, precios respetables, ambiente tranquilo, se puede llevar niños, estacionamiento un poco complicado, postres bien, bebidas muy bien. Recomendable absolutamente. La comida portuguesa es muy agradable y en La Quinta da Luz se como muy rico...5 estrellas 🌟

Der Garten mit Tor zur Neckarpromenade ist ein ganz wunderbarer Ort. Die Fischgerichte sind sehr frisch und mit kleinen Überraschungen zubereitet. Man muss an schönen Sommertagen auf jeden Fall reservieren.

Sehr schöner Gastraum. Freundlicher Service. Sehr gut zubereitete Speisen. Dazu passend auch der Wein. Nur wer koffeinfrei Kaffee trinken möchte, sollte sich das überlegen, weil da wird löslicher Kaffee serviert. Abgesehen davon ist das Essen den gehobenen Preis absolut wert.

Über Jahre gleichbleibende hohe Qualität der Speisen in einem schlichten aber stimungsvollen Ambiente. Ein wundervoller Ort um etwas besonderes zu feiern, oder um einfach frische und hochwertige Speisen zu genießen.

Alles war Wundervoll und das Essen war wie immer sehr gut

Quinta da Luz ist ein ganz spezielles und im Raum Mannheim seltenes Stück Portugal. Es bietet eine sehr gepflegte Küche mit landestypischen Gerichten stets frisch zubereitet und ansprechend angerichtet und das in geschmackvollen Rahmen. Im Sommer sitzt es sich wunderschön auf der Terrasse, leider nicht mit perfektem Blick auf den in diesem Bereich malerischen Neckar, aber dieses Vergnügen kann man bei einem anschließenden Spaziergang leicht nachholen, und selten kann man alles auf einmal haben. Haben kann man hier aber sehr leckeres Essen, wie z. B. Bacalao, Kaninchen, und andere portugiesische Spezialitäten, alles sehr, sehr lecker. Ja, und der Service passt auch. Er ist höflich, aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Preise sind natürlich "gehoben", aber das Gesamtpaket stimmt , und ein Besuch des Restaurants garantiert auch ein besonderes Erlebnis, es ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert!
