Amazing place. Very tasty and huge portions!

The four of us were there spontaneously on a Friday around seven and got a table without a reservation. For dinner we ordered the petiscos for two and then Francesinha and Grelhada do Mar. The petiscos (tapas) were brought twice so that they could actually be eaten warm. We were all thrilled and super full. The service was extremely friendly. We can therefore definitely recommend the restaurant.

We were there with 7 people and had reserved in advance. Since there are few seats, be sure to reserve or at least call in advance! We were served very nicely and the staff were very happy and fun. Food was very tasty and fresh, we all had nothing to complain about. We had starters, main courses and drinks, everything was typical of the country, such as the beer Superbock, Maciera, espresso, starters. Only the ambience is very sober, which is also often seen in Portugal, but it could still be a little more chic. There was only a candle on the table, no blanket or anything like that and the room is sober and also without a window. But the toilet is the drawback here, too small, too narrow, too narrow... both of these are certainly due to the building itself, but it's still not nice. We would love to come back any time because of the great food and service!!

Very cute little restaurant in the tower. The dry humor of Keller was very refreshing and something different. We had a lovely afternoon. The small tapas rations in particular are perfect for sharing. I recommend making reservations in the evening. Gladly again.

We went to this cute little restaurant for the first time today. The service and the positive, entertaining and dry humor, the courteous nature of the two gentlemen was simply wonderful. It's a shame that we're only in Hamburg as part of our short vacation. We've both rarely eaten so well. The prices are completely okay. If I lived in HH, I would be a permanent guest here!

Great location. Were looking for a restaurant after going to the theater. Unfortunately all other restaurants were fully booked. The boss let us in and somehow installed us... There was a port wine at the counter while we waited... Really nice. The service was so funny that it was an event in itself... We had a lot of fun... The price-performance ratio was also TOP. I can only recommend this Portuguese restaurant...

Very tasty Portuguese cuisine. The restaurant is located in a small old monument protected tower. You come in and feel like you're on vacation. We had the petiscos for 2 people. There were 10 different tapas consisting of fish, meat and vegetables. We were thrilled, full of cardboard and very satisfied. More Portugal is not possible.

This month had a short weekend in the city of Hamburg a nice experience.I visited this Portugese Restaurant and had the best time has been in Hamburg for 45 years, Jose was the waiter and is from Porto. We chatted about Peter Herbert and Gare Club. The food was delicious and had classic Portugese dishes situated close to the port of Hamburg worth a look if your visiting or just in the neighbourhood.

We felt very comfortable with you!!! First-class service, very good food and great ambience. It was much more than just eating out, it was a special experience, thank you! Until next time 😊

Il ristorante si trova nella zona del porto in una torre, tutti i tavoli sono disposti in circolo, il locale è raccolto e molto accogliente. Il cibo è ottimo e davvero portoghese: abbiamo preso vongole, orata, baccalà e i tipici peperoni (pimientos), tutto squisito. Prezzi contenuti: 80 euro in tre con acqua e mezzo litro di vino della casa. Molto gentile il personale. Consigliato!

Este es un restaurante muy pequeño situado en una torre junto al agua en el barrio portugués. No estaba bien ventilado. Sin embargo, la comida era deliciosa y las porciones bastante generosas. Yo tenía el pescado de bacalao que venía con un lado de patatas y una ensalada. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

Reservation online is easy. And definitely recommended! Nice card, something for everyone. Tastes very good. The appetizer platter was terrific - the green peppers, for example, were a poem. Unfortunately, drinks were always forgotten during service, it was just crowded and cramped - the waiter was constantly on duty. The bill included all the drinks delivered, which was fine. Card payment possible.

The service is friendly and the food is delicious. But the restaurant is very hot. Is the bread in front of you white or cold? It would be better if it is toasted.

The real portuguese experience. Not only the ambience transfers you to the rustic northern portuguese homes but the food and service are exactly what you would get in a non-touristy place in Portugal. My go-to every time.

Very nice service and delicious food!

Food was good, delicious tapas. Service also good, rustic. It then became very crowded and unfortunately also very loud. No windows. Unfortunately, the acoustics were so bad that we could hardly understand each other (there were two of us), we felt like we had to shout at each other and were stressed by the volume level. Therefore there are only 3 stars for the ambience. For a couple's evening or a good conversation with friends, I would recommend other restaurants. If you like socializing, it will definitely suit you.

Great restaurant with really good food in a former bunker. The only, but very significant, disadvantage in my opinion was the incredible volume. When so many people sit together in a small space and talk, the volume continues to rise. My sensitive ears find it almost unbearable at times.

Wir waren enttäuscht. Ettliche Reisen nach Portugal lies uns die dortige Küche kennenlernen. Hier wird lediglich eine Nachahmung der portugisischen Küche geboten, obwohl doch gerade in Hamburg das Warenangebot alles nötige für diese art Küche bereit hält. Die blanken, teils etwas klebrigen Tische und Menagen waren nicht gerade appetitanregend. Wir tiipen hier auf eine "Männerwirtschaft". Die Lautstärke in dem kleinen Raum war sehr hoch. Man musste ebenfalls sehr laut Sprechen um sich zu verständigen. Der Kellner beschwerte sich noch bei und, dass Alle nur noch mit Karte bezahlen. wir finden die meisten vorherigen Bewertungen teils übertrieben.

Well, we know Portuguese food from several trips to Portugal. The food here is just good, but nothing more. The ambience is nowhere near what it is in most photos. The room is dimly lit, the tables are just bare and not, as you can see, set with nice placemats. The vinegar and oil cruets first stick to the table and then to your hand. This seems to be a purely “male economy”. The volume is also quite high. It's just a room. When we were paying, the waiter told us that it was a shame that people only paid by card and no longer in cash and winked at it. ;-) Conclusion: I find a lot of the reviews here quite exaggerated. As you can see, it wasn't full while we ate there.

Sehr kleines Restaurant mit authentischer portugiesischer Küche. Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich, allerdings mussten wir auf den reservierten Tisch leider noch etwas warten, ebenso ein anderes Pärchen, die zeitgleich mit uns ankamen. Da in dem Turm nur wenig Platz ist, stört man dabei etwas. Das Essen hat uns aber entschädigt.

Fantastic authentic Portuguese food in an unusual building. Behind the thick walls of the shelter there is a small restaurant with a few tables and a rustic atmosphere. The food is very, very tasty, everything is freshly prepared. We stayed here on two evenings and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality. The meat, different types of fish, the wine (we really appreciated the bottle recommendation), the dessert and the overall atmosphere can't be beat. Absolute recommendation!

The waiter stood at the table every 2 minutes to take the order. If you don't know the map, it will unfortunately take some time to place your order. Ambience is rustic and something special. Prices completely ok. The food we had was ok, but not really outstanding. But would recommend the restaurant.

Wir waren für 2 Tage in Hamburg und waren vor einem Konzert in der Elbphilharmonie in der Tasquinha Galego essen. Mein Mann hatte ein hervorragendes Thunfischsteak mit Salat und Ofenkartoffeln, ich hatte einen sehr frischen köstlichen Petersiliensalat, scharfe Kartoffeln und portugiesische Wurst in Rotweinsauce. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, schnell und gut gelaunt. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist, vor allen Dingen für Hamburg in zentraler Lage, ausgesprochen günstig. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und können das Restaurant ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.

Super delicious Portuguese food. I had 2 tapas + a cheese plate to share, which was enough for me as a woman. A man would probably need 4-5 tapas or then a main course. The location is totally rustic in a tower near the Landungsbrücken. The service was also great, it was probably the boss who served us. Super funny and nice. He always had a joke up his sleeve - just great. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

It's like coming to a secret base? The restaurant has an exciting atmosphere 😍 The clams steamed in white wine had a delicious taste that Japanese people who love the sea and love shellfish couldn't resist. Although the food was voluminous, it was quite reasonable and it was a very satisfying dinner for my family of three 😍

I went to this Portuguese restaurant to show my friends a very famous dish called Francesinha. I was surprised, it was very authentic. The waiters were vere welcoming and interactive, with the peculiar sense of humour that is typical to a Portuguese tasca. Felt in Portugal.

In the beautifully located Tasquinha Galego, extremely good Portuguese food and warm hospitality come together in a rustic atmosphere! My tip: Don't just order the typical tapas, but also ask for classic Portuguese dishes. It's worth it!! This is where entertainment meets good food!

Mein Mann hatte es in guter Erinnerung, deshalb sind wir ohne Reservierung recht früh dort gewesen. Überaus freundlich wurden wir zu einem Tisch geleitet. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und war ausgezeichnet. Fisch und Meeresfrüchte waren frisch, von sehr guter Qualität und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Preis Leistung hervorragend! Hier kann sich manches luxuslokal noch was abschauen!

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, we were able to reserve online and it was worth it. The interior is beautifully decorated and very well attended. Great atmosphere, like in Portugal. The food is fantastic, I have rarely had such delicious vegetarian food and it is very minimalistic. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, you can taste it. Definitely worth a visit.

Simple - authentic - good! The Tasquinha (Portuguese tavern) is located in a listed tower, essentially between Cap San Diego and the Portuguese Quarter. It feels like I've marched past here 100 times. A spontaneous visit on the penultimate visit home failed, and a reservation is advisable even during the week. The rustic ambience is pleasing, dark wood, lots of masonry and the typical ceramic tiles create a very cozy and particularly authentic atmosphere. Good lighting concept, no daylight, small outdoor area with around 20 seats. We had fresh baguette bread from the house with what was probably homemade aioli without too much acid, which we liked. Likewise our tapas selection: dates wrapped in bacon, spicy Tasca potatoes with chili and sea salt (without sauce), meatballs in tomato-pepper sauce and, at the table, parika sausage flambéed with plenty of pomace brandy, spicy, juicy, tasty. We ordered another bowl of aioli with the potatoes and it went very well. The decent house wine was served in a carafe with a ceramic cup. Okay, cider is often served in a Breton bolée. So why not? I now know that ceramic cups, so-called malgas, are more common in northern Portugal. We sat at a table for 6, later a fellow countryman from Porto joined us and after the meal we were kindly asked by the owner to move to a table for 2 that had become vacant for a larger party. No problem, we then had a nightcap from the house. Nice shop and for us certainly a good alternative to the more or less good restaurants in the Portuguese Quarter. 5 stars - considering the prices, which are reasonable for Hamburg standards
