Reservation online is easy. And definitely recommended! Nice card, something for everyone. Tastes very good. The appetizer platter was terrific - the green peppers, for example, were a poem. Unfortunately, drinks were always forgotten during service, it was just crowded and cramped - the waiter was constantly on duty. The bill included all the drinks delivered, which was fine. Card payment possible.

The service is friendly and the food is delicious. But the restaurant is very hot. Is the bread in front of you white or cold? It would be better if it is toasted.

The real portuguese experience. Not only the ambience transfers you to the rustic northern portuguese homes but the food and service are exactly what you would get in a non-touristy place in Portugal. My go-to every time.

Food was good, delicious tapas. Service also good, rustic. It then became very crowded and unfortunately also very loud. No windows. Unfortunately, the acoustics were so bad that we could hardly understand each other (there were two of us), we felt like we had to shout at each other and were stressed by the volume level. Therefore there are only 3 stars for the ambience. For a couple's evening or a good conversation with friends, I would recommend other restaurants. If you like socializing, it will definitely suit you.

Great restaurant with really good food in a former bunker. The only, but very significant, disadvantage in my opinion was the incredible volume. When so many people sit together in a small space and talk, the volume continues to rise. My sensitive ears find it almost unbearable at times.

Well, we know Portuguese food from several trips to Portugal. The food here is just good, but nothing more. The ambience is nowhere near what it is in most photos. The room is dimly lit, the tables are just bare and not, as you can see, set with nice placemats. The vinegar and oil cruets first stick to the table and then to your hand. This seems to be a purely “male economy”. The volume is also quite high. It's just a room. When we were paying, the waiter told us that it was a shame that people only paid by card and no longer in cash and winked at it. ;-) Conclusion: I find a lot of the reviews here quite exaggerated. As you can see, it wasn't full while we ate there.

Fantastic authentic Portuguese food in an unusual building. Behind the thick walls of the shelter there is a small restaurant with a few tables and a rustic atmosphere. The food is very, very tasty, everything is freshly prepared. We stayed here on two evenings and enjoyed the wonderful hospitality. The meat, different types of fish, the wine (we really appreciated the bottle recommendation), the dessert and the overall atmosphere can't be beat. Absolute recommendation!

The waiter stood at the table every 2 minutes to take the order. If you don't know the map, it will unfortunately take some time to place your order. Ambience is rustic and something special. Prices completely ok. The food we had was ok, but not really outstanding. But would recommend the restaurant.

Wir waren für 2 Tage in Hamburg und waren vor einem Konzert in der Elbphilharmonie in der Tasquinha Galego essen. Mein Mann hatte ein hervorragendes Thunfischsteak mit Salat und Ofenkartoffeln, ich hatte einen sehr frischen köstlichen Petersiliensalat, scharfe Kartoffeln und portugiesische Wurst in Rotweinsauce. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, schnell und gut gelaunt. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist, vor allen Dingen für Hamburg in zentraler Lage, ausgesprochen günstig. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und können das Restaurant ohne Einschränkungen empfehlen.

Super delicious Portuguese food. I had 2 tapas + a cheese plate to share, which was enough for me as a woman. A man would probably need 4-5 tapas or then a main course. The location is totally rustic in a tower near the Landungsbrücken. The service was also great, it was probably the boss who served us. Super funny and nice. He always had a joke up his sleeve - just great. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

It's like coming to a secret base? The restaurant has an exciting atmosphere 😍 The clams steamed in white wine had a delicious taste that Japanese people who love the sea and love shellfish couldn't resist. Although the food was voluminous, it was quite reasonable and it was a very satisfying dinner for my family of three 😍

I went to this Portuguese restaurant to show my friends a very famous dish called Francesinha. I was surprised, it was very authentic. The waiters were vere welcoming and interactive, with the peculiar sense of humour that is typical to a Portuguese tasca. Felt in Portugal.

In the beautifully located Tasquinha Galego, extremely good Portuguese food and warm hospitality come together in a rustic atmosphere! My tip: Don't just order the typical tapas, but also ask for classic Portuguese dishes. It's worth it!! This is where entertainment meets good food!

Mein Mann hatte es in guter Erinnerung, deshalb sind wir ohne Reservierung recht früh dort gewesen. Überaus freundlich wurden wir zu einem Tisch geleitet. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und war ausgezeichnet. Fisch und Meeresfrüchte waren frisch, von sehr guter Qualität und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Preis Leistung hervorragend! Hier kann sich manches luxuslokal noch was abschauen!

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, we were able to reserve online and it was worth it. The interior is beautifully decorated and very well attended. Great atmosphere, like in Portugal. The food is fantastic, I have rarely had such delicious vegetarian food and it is very minimalistic. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality, you can taste it. Definitely worth a visit.

Simple - authentic - good! The Tasquinha (Portuguese tavern) is located in a listed tower, essentially between Cap San Diego and the Portuguese Quarter. It feels like I've marched past here 100 times. A spontaneous visit on the penultimate visit home failed, and a reservation is advisable even during the week. The rustic ambience is pleasing, dark wood, lots of masonry and the typical ceramic tiles create a very cozy and particularly authentic atmosphere. Good lighting concept, no daylight, small outdoor area with around 20 seats. We had fresh baguette bread from the house with what was probably homemade aioli without too much acid, which we liked. Likewise our tapas selection: dates wrapped in bacon, spicy Tasca potatoes with chili and sea salt (without sauce), meatballs in tomato-pepper sauce and, at the table, parika sausage flambéed with plenty of pomace brandy, spicy, juicy, tasty. We ordered another bowl of aioli with the potatoes and it went very well. The decent house wine was served in a carafe with a ceramic cup. Okay, cider is often served in a Breton bolée. So why not? I now know that ceramic cups, so-called malgas, are more common in northern Portugal. We sat at a table for 6, later a fellow countryman from Porto joined us and after the meal we were kindly asked by the owner to move to a table for 2 that had become vacant for a larger party. No problem, we then had a nightcap from the house. Nice shop and for us certainly a good alternative to the more or less good restaurants in the Portuguese Quarter. 5 stars - considering the prices, which are reasonable for Hamburg standards

Die Tasquinha (portugiesische Taverne) befindet sich in einem denkmalgeschützten Turm, quasi zwischen der Cap San Diego und dem Portugiesenviertel. Gefühlte 100 Mal bin ich schon hier vorbeimarschiert. Ein spontaner Besuch beim vorletzten Heimatbesuch scheiterte, selbst unter der Woche ist eine Reservierung ratsam. Das rustikale Ambiente gefällt - dunkles Holz, viel Mauerwerk und die typischen Keramikkacheln schaffen eine durchaus gemütliche und insbesondere authentische Atmosphäre. Gutes Beleuchtungskonzept, kein Tageslicht, kleiner Außenbereich mit ca. 20 Sitzplätzen. Vom Haus gab es frisches Baguettebrot mit einer vermutlich hausgemachten Aioli ohne übermäßig viel Säure, hat uns gut gefallen. Ebenso unsere Tapas-Auswahl: Datteln im Speckmantel, scharfe Tasca Kartoffeln mit Chili und Meersalz (ohne Sauce), Hackbällchen in Tomaten-Paprika-Sauce und am Tisch mit reichlich Tresterbrand flambierte Chouriço – würzig, saftig, schmackhaft. Zu den Kartoffeln haben wir noch ein weiteres Schälchen Aioli bestellt, passte sehr gut. Der ordentliche Hauswein wurde in einer Karaffe mit Keramiktasse serviert. Okay, Cidre wird ja auch oftmals in einer bretonischen Bolée gereicht. Warum also nicht?! Inzwischen weiß ich, dass Keramiktassen (Malgas) eher in Nordportugal üblich sind. Gesessen haben wir an einem 6-er Tisch, später gesellte sich ein Landsmann aus Porto dazu und nach dem Essen wurden wir vom Inhaber freundlich gebeten, für eine größere Gesellschaft an einen frei gewordenen 2-er Tisch zu wechseln. Kein Problem, es gab dann für uns noch einen Absacker vom Haus. Netter Laden und für uns sicher mal eine gute Alternative zu den mehr oder weniger guten Restaurants im Portugiesenviertel. 5 Punkte - gemessen an den für Hamburger Verhältnisse zivilen Preisen!

We went for dinner with a group of 12 people. Tapas were really very good, varied and absolutely sufficient. All the main courses were also very tasty and beautifully presented. Service is simply a hit - cabaret included! The location in this tower may take a little getting used to at first glance, but it is so special that it is something special. Price-performance unbeatable!! Really fair prices for good wine and sufficient portion sizes. This place is really worth a visit.

A converted listed tower now invites you to enjoy a cozy culinary treat. A table reservation is definitely recommended. Due to the round building, the space available is limited, including for the toilet area. Nevertheless, a very cozy atmosphere and the service team gave everything. The Portuguese food was very tasty. If you are in Hamburg, you should stop there at least once.

For me as a Portuguese, a highlight of Portuguese gastronomy in Germany, and really the best Portuguese in the Portuguese Quarter! It's authentic, it's familiar, the cuisine is sensational, the service has a funny, endearing manner that can't really be found anywhere, but it's really the overall package that makes this place special. After making reservations, you are happy that you will eat here because you got a table, and you are sad that you have to leave again. Best evening and damn good food! We were a total of 10 adults and our first time in this authentic restaurant! Starting from the best Portuguese food and cold drinks to the ambience. But this evening was unforgettable and rounded off by the two waiters and owners. Some of us were on the floor laughing. Our clear recommendation with more than 5 stars. We'll definitely be back!

An explosion of the taste senses The food was incredibly delicious. For starters I had a garlic soup which was pretty intense... just as you could hope for. My main course was equally delicious and plentiful. We also treated ourselves to the Portuguese beer, which was quite tasty, and finally a cherry liqueur. Our innkeepers always had a good sense of humor, radiated a charming temperament and were extremely committed. Thank you and the greatest praise to the whole team.

Very centrally located at the Landungsbrücken. Quaint and very rustic Portuguese restaurant. We had petiscos / tapas for 30 euros per person. I find the quality to be average - no high-quality ingredients, the taste is quite good. The service was very individual and quite entertaining for anyone who likes that.

We had a very mixed evening, the food was delicious, but the service was absolutely terrible. As soon as we arrived we were greeted strangely, the older waiter brought us to the table and made unpleasant jokes and commented on our order the whole time. When I ordered my fish, he waved wildly at the menu and tried to pressure me into taking a whole plate. When we ordered the vegetarian starters there was a derogatory comment and we almost had to justify our wishes. The wine was served in small porcelain bowls and announced as fruit tea; Plus, the fish in question came about 20 minutes after the rest of the meal, so I ended up eating it alone. Finally, there were jokes about fat women and women with facial hair. It was just so uncomfortable!! We won't pay money for something like that again.

Bester Abend und verdammt gutes Essen! Wir waren insgesamt 10 Erwachsene und das erste Mal in diesem authentischen Restaurant! Angefangen von besten portugiesischen Essen und kalten Getränken bis hin zum Ambiente. Aber unvergesslich und abgerundet wurde dieser Abend von den beiden Kellnern bzw Besitzer. Wir haben teilweise vor lachen m Boden gelegen. Unsere ganz klare Empfehlung mit mehr als 5 Sternen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

We were in Hamburg for a few days for a private short trip and spontaneously had dinner in this restaurant. It's a very nice little Portuguese restaurant in a little tower. We got there early and got a spot but we were lucky! So it's best to reserve, I think you can also do it online. We ate the tapas platter for 2. The food was authentic, tasty and the service was quick and very friendly and accommodating.

We dined there based on an insider tip. We really liked it, the food was as original as we have rarely experienced. In particular, the boss's individual and direct hospitality was unique. Here the guest is really taken care of individually. Unfortunately we enjoyed it too late, otherwise we would have been guests here every evening. But we'll be back... Clear recommendation!

We were guests in this beautiful restaurant for the second time in February. - Eat delicious - Ambience great - Service very attentive and funny We have immediately reserved a table again and will enjoy the delicious dishes on our next visit to Hamburg. There was even a heartfelt birthday serenade from everyone present. Nothing more was possible.
