The food at Cantina Mexicana is truly wonderful – fresh, flavorful, and lovingly prepared. The drinks are also absolutely convincing and perfectly round off the culinary experience. Unfortunately, the service significantly dampens the overall impression. The waitresses seem extremely disorganized and unprofessional. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Even more annoying: as soon as the drinks were served, we were immediately asked to pay – with the explanation that a shift change was taking place. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to eat. It's a real shame, because the food clearly deserved 5 stars. If the service improves, I'd be happy to come back – unfortunately, for now, it's only three stars.

I was absolutely thrilled! The food was excellent – ​​fresh, tasty and prepared with a lot of love. The service was also great: I would particularly like to highlight Maxi, who really did a great job as a waiter - friendly, attentive and professional. The food was also discounted, which made the whole thing even better. The ambience and atmosphere were also wonderful – you immediately feel at home. All in all, a perfect visit – I’ll definitely be back!

The place is unkempt. Tables and chairs in the dining room are rarely cleaned; the men's restroom stinks. The staff is incredibly unfriendly. Even a "Bon appetit" or "Goodbye" or something similar is in vain. The men are more concerned with themselves; the customers seem more like a nuisance. I won't be back.

We (Mexican and German) know Mexico and its dishes pretty well. We were very impressed with the taste of our burritos at Chipotle. Here you will get your fill deliciously. If something goes wrong, owner Hassan always has an open ear and takes personal care of his guests. We'll definitely be back.

The one star for service goes solely to the owner of the restaurant. The food is completely okay and the drinks are also unbeatable for the price, but after I and my companions were guests there several times and received mocking comments and were treated in a condescending manner by the owner, I avoid the place completely. Would like to come back, but not as long as the operator is serving the guests. Too bad. Thanks to the owner, who made it clear again in his response to this review that he dislikes the correct way of dealing with customers. 😂

The beef burrito was the worst I ever had! Dry and tasteless. It was so dry I had to take water with each bite! Yet it was dripping from the bottom of the burrito 😳 It was so bad I couldn’t finish it and it costs almost 13 euro! I suggest to put less meat and rice and add some other ingredients without extra charge. 13 euro for that burrito is ridiculous!

I was there on a Sunday evening and ordered a Burrito del Norte with chicken. After 10 minutes my order was ready, even though the staff was already at their order limit. The staff was friendly even under very stressful conditions. The burrito was delicious and came with Mexican rice and a small salad. The price was reasonable for the food. I cannot recommend eating on site. The restaurant is very small and the atmosphere is not very inviting.

The garlic sauce tastes very poor, the meat isn't tasty either, and the bread isn't that special, even though it's homemade. I wouldn't recommend it.

I enjoyed eating there very well for many years! It's a shame that my Pollo al Mani no longer exists!!!😔
