Chipotle Mexican Grill in Frankfurt am Main

The food was very tasty. It's a shame that none of the employees pointed out to me that you can have as much of most of the ingredients as you want. Then it would have been perfect. Definitely coming back.

Food tastes okay. Nothing special. The choice of food isn't that big either.

Do NOT go to this Chipotle in Frankfurt! The staff stops preparing food at 7 PM and just chills. They clearly don’t care about customers. Same employees every time—small girl with black hair and a darker-skinned male. Corporate should visit in the evenings and fire these employees!

The food wasn't bad per se, but it was way too expensive for what you got and seemed very "thrown away".

Disastrous service from employees. From ordering to paying, you are served breakfast so quickly and unfriendly that you think the employees would get more bonuses if they were faster. All in all very unpleasant. That was different a few years ago

€11 is clearly too expensive for such a small burrito. 7€-8€ would be more appropriate. In the USA (where the original comes from) you get a portion that is almost twice as large for the same price!!

In the USA I often go to Chipotle - in comparison, small portions and listless staff, unfortunately potential was wasted here.

The way the waiter provided service was so bad; they were just like throwing food on your plate. The way they simply throw stuff on the burrito. And the sauces were at refrigerator temperature. My Tacos were stone cold! The burritos are just like they don't want to prepare anything for you; nothing is mentioned, and nothing is informed for customers. Very poor service and it feels like staff is discriminated against. I personally feel like a racist.

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars, but this store deserves it. 50 minutes before closing time there is only a very limited selection. The employee wasn't willing to at least refill the cheese or sour cream. Apparently on orders from the boss. Really a disgrace for the price (12 euros for a burito). Never again!

Unfortunately, one star is already too many because you get ripped off and ripped off in the store!! When I paid, I was charged for extras that I didn't order. When I pointed this out, they said don't worry, only 10 euros would be debited. Saw in online banking today that 15 were debited! Never again. And I'll get the 5 euros back tomorrow with the wrong cash register Bonn that was given to me when I ordered so that I don't notice that I'm paying too much!

I know and love Chipotle from the USA and was very excited to see what the German branch offers in comparison. So I took a trip to Frankfurt to find out what was going on. In short, it's exactly like the original (it's an original because it's an official franchise). So you basically choose whether it's a bowl, burrito, tacos or salad and choose your ingredients (rice, beans, meat, tofu or veggies, cheese, guacamole, etc. It's not cheap, but it's cool!

It's the first and last time I was there. The employees simply put everything they wanted into our burritos even though we didn't agree. It's really overpriced. They just put the guacamole on me even though I didn't want it. I had to pay an extra €5 for it and I said at the checkout that I didn't order it and they didn't accept it. For the price definitely not worth it.

Wie man da offensichtlich hockt..., gefällt mir schon mal gar nicht. Aufgrund der Bewertungen ( auch noch teuer !?) sehe ich keinen Grund, den Verein auszutesten. In Amerika neben den üblichen Saufraß-Fast Food Ketten sicherlich eine Alternative. Hier kann ich auch ohne Bohnen prächtig furzen.

It was my first time trying chipotle and i have to say it is 100% worth the hype.

I went to a chipotle in London years ago but this one was worlds better. It's not exactly cheap and you should ideally speak English when ordering and know exactly what you're taking, but everything goes really quickly and the burrito, bowl etc. is filled and you can pay. At first you think: oh, super tiny, but a burrito weighs more than some kebabs. The tortilla is really awesome. So soft and slightly mushy to the bite but still holds together. Unfortunately, not every bite was completely balanced, but you still get something new here and something new there. I was missing a bit of a kick, although in retrospect it was quite salty, even though I eat a lot of salt. The barbacoa was tasty but a touch dry.

Portions are getting smaller and prices are going up. 10€ for a half-filled bowl is cheeky

Really awesome tacos taste really good. Fresh ingredients, delicious sauces and amazing guacomole. I look forward to eating tacos there every time. Tastes really good

Not sure if this has something to do with the new management but portion size is around 20% less than what it used to be a few months back. Taste-wise no complaints but definitely no longer a value for money. Will think twice on visiting a Chipotle again …

Food average, rather lower standard. The staff processed us so carelessly and quickly that there was hardly any time to choose something. A rude awakening at the checkout: expensive money paid for little service. I definitely won't go here again.

Tastes like in the USA, staff friendly, lots of seats. But the portions are ridiculous. Not even half the size, even if it were a children's portion, a joke - especially for the price.

Sorry guys, for the price of just under €19 a bowl with chicken rice and some salad + drink is exorbitant. Taste nothing special. The portions aren't huge either. For Me for the first and last time. There is much better

Had a great experience and loved the food! Portion size was great, nothing like others mentioned before! Everyone was full afterwards. Team was really friendly, especially with our little one! They even asked if everything was ok afterwards. Will come again!

Tip top, very very tasty. Portions shrink from year to year, which is probably an inflation issue for rice & beans 😂 Amazed by the dollop of guacamole for over €4.35. Some time ago this was still €1.50. Clean and quickly prepared. Unfortunately, employees don't seem very motivated. Otherwise highly recommended and an amazing taste explosion.

Bad service. You are overwhelmed by the employees into buying something. And it's very expensive. Three little tacos (that are tasty - I give em that) for 10+€?? That's crazy. I was nowhere near fed up.

Well, I think it can taste good if you choose the right one. But I had a spice that I don't like in the buritto (cumin) and that spoiled the taste. I also don't know which component had the cumin in it (vegetables, chicken...) In addition, the price is simply bottomless. I paid €15 for ONE burrito because I also took guacamole.

Von mal zu mal enttäuschender. Burrito wird immer kleiner. Auf diese Kritik hin und meine Bitte, nicht so geizig zu sein, lachte das Servicepersonal, weil sie mich nicht verstanden haben. Auf englisch wurde mir dann erklärt, dies sei die normale Größe. Da ich jedoch schon seit Jahren herkomme, weiß ich es besser. Schade auch, dass die zwei Herren des Servicepersonals kein Wort deutsch verstanden.

Lecker, aber zu teuer. Ein Burrito mit einem Corona für 19 € ist einfach zu viel. Gemerkt ohne Beilagen. Ansonsten war es lecker.

Similar system to Subay. The first thing you do is choose whether you want a bowl, burrito or tacos. Then the contents (type of meat etc.) Unfortunately, if you're on site for the first time, you'll quickly be rushed through the selection by employees and you'll hardly have time to think. You can quickly get a burrito with a drink at €15, which is really not cheap. Nevertheless, you have to say it was very tasty and is simply something different than Mces or BK. I would come back if there were more stores like this 🙂

Prices are a disgrace - have now spent €42 on tacos and a burrito. Reason: Guacamole was slapped in and an additional €5 was charged each time. For the money it's better to go to a real Mexican...

Incredibly over-salted food, unfriendly service, astronomical prices (4.35€ for guacamole) and all prices stated without VAT - I paid 18.10€ for an iced tea and a chicken bowl - I was looking forward to Chipotle like in the USA but this is bottomless, just don't go!

Chipotle is exactly what you expect. An American-Mexican burrito factory. Is it bad? No! It's actually very cool. You know exactly what you're getting and that's exactly what I want too. You are served quickly and there is even a vegetarian/vegan version that is very tasty. There’s as much hot sauce as you want on site. So only one question arises. Will it be the best burrito you eat in your life? (Hopefully) No. Will you still be full and satisfied afterwards? HELL YES!

Cold burritos, listless staff who don't even speak German. Portions extra small. Prices are exorbitant for this small portion and cold dishes. It's dirty - even dirtier than usual fast food chains. Nevertheless, Chipotle allows itself to market itself as “casual dining” in order to charge higher prices. However, this self-description has no basis in reality. It only has anything to do with tacos in the remotest sense, neither with the Mexican original nor with the Americanized version. Furthermore, for reasons I don't understand, the guacamole sauce costs more than many whole foods. Furthermore, the service doesn't even have knowledge of German at A1 level. This “restaurant” (sic) should be avoided if possible.

1. A burrito for 15 EUR without even drinking. 2. Tables are all dirty - are they even cleaned?? 3. Drinks warm, luckily I didn't take one otherwise I would be at 20 EUR for lunch. Definitely too expensive for what you get. 4. Burrito disintegrates as soon as you bite into it. No cutlery received. I will never set foot in a Chipotle again.

Comparing it to the US. More expensive and fewer portions. Guacamole doesn’t taste as good. Also, it was very difficult for me to find the place through the location on google maps. It’s at highest floor at Zeil mall.

Tried it for the first time and it was immediately clear that we would certainly never come back. Staff extremely overwhelmed, hardly any language skills, which is why both orders were wrong. Complaining directly after paying didn't work because no one really understood what was going on. Extras that were not wanted were added and charged for without asking. Bad taste, meat (steak) tough and cold. Unfortunately a flop.

The food tasted really delicious, but the tofu didn't look that appetizing :/ The inside looked really great too. Price was okay. Chips were dry.

Not the best Chipotle in the world. Atmosphere was not great, felt rushed through the line. Card machine was acting up causing customers to go around or skip people in line. Sauces are by the exit out of the way of the tables. Taste of the food was ok but could be much better.

A bit on the pricey size for a “fast food” restaurant. But definitely worth it in my opinion: the food is very good and the workers have always been friendly, even when the restaurant is very busy

Yesterday (a Saturday) I was in Frankfurt for the second time and since I am a big fan of burritos in general and a well-known YouTuber also spoke well about this branch, I wanted to try it out too. I'll just list everything that led to this review: - the prices are extremely confusing and, as a glasses wearer, it's difficult for me to keep track of things. - the store was completely overcrowded and stuffy, so I had no choice but to take food with me (I had 2 other people with me). The store isn't particularly big either. - I expected a system like Subway, where you could put everything together at your leisure for a fixed price, until I realized in the end that it completely depends on your content. --> the service completely stressed me out and didn't give me time to think about it for a moment. - Since I wanted both a burrito and soft shell tacos, I had to take care of both orders at the same time, which is extremely high pressure. - Accordingly, I didn't have the time to read and realize that ONE SPOON of guacamole costs €4.50 extra and I ended up having to pay €30 for both - In general, the taste was definitely not worth the price and the tacos definitely saved on the meat - + point was that the meat generally tasted good - my burrito was also extremely poorly packaged and completely leaked. Overall, this Chipotle wasn't worth a visit and I would recommend that everyone either make something at home or eat at a good Mexican restaurant.

Trays/leftover food were piled up on the tables and the tables were totally sticky. Apparently too few staff. Never again.

It was my first time visiting the restaurant and the burrito tasted good. I had tortilla chips as a side dish. Sure, there is still room for improvement, but I enjoyed being there. The staff is also friendly. Gladly again.

Mexican restaurant at the MyZeil Shopping mall. Great ambiance. Was there for lunch and recommend the bowl. I wish staff could explain more clearly for first timers how it works. All in all I enjoyed the meal. The concept is more fast food and great for quick snack to eat while shopping at the mall. If using Sparkasse pay attention to have the physical card as the app will not work. Location is at the Food Court of the MyZeil Shopping Mall on the 6th floor. Paid Parking is available at the MyZeil parking.
