Chipotle Mexican Grill in Frankfurt am Main

Had bowl with chicken for €11.10. Portion was okay, bigger in the USA! Tastes the same! When it comes to ingredients, vegetables (peppers, onions, etc.) seem to be overlooked and corn is used. Everything really has an announcement. An 8 cent bottle deposit is charged for drinks. But who will bring the bottle back? Didn't see any! All in all okay.

The portion here is an insult to Chipotle in the US. Only about half of what you get in the USA. It's a real shame the direction in which this branch has developed. Update February 25, 2025: Has noticeably improved. The employees are nicer and the portions are finally more normal again. Keep it up please👍

Anyone who has been to the USA knows Chipotle. Tastes exactly the way you know it from there. I haven't had any bad experiences at this branch so far.

Best place for a quick bite. Healthy and delicious Mexican food - burrito, tacos, rice bowl and salads. Staff are quick and speak German and English.

Price-performance ratio is good.

This location went from a 1 star to a 5 star for me. Seems like a completely new set of staff, they are friendly, they don’t rush patrons and they give a good serving size!

We really enjoyed the burrito and the bowl. The cashiers were also very nice and accommodating. The ambience is a bit louder. Which of course is always more the case with fast food restaurants. But all in all we were satisfied.

I was at Chipotle in Frankfurt MyZeil and absolutely loved it! The employees were super nice and friendly. I was particularly impressed by the restaurant manager, who personally looks after the guests. As soon as the food was served, he asked whether the food tasted the same as in Los Angeles, and after the meal he asked again whether everything was OK. On a Saturday when they could have made a lot of sales, there were simply no tacos. We were happy, but they were over. If you are expecting a lot of guests, you should be prepared. The man who filled our buritos spoke quietly, I could barely understand him. The burito was good, a little too cold and the salsa wasn't spicy at all.

I'm really positively surprised! The burrito was very tasty and offers a healthy alternative! Even after 5 hours and 3 glasses of wine, I'm still well full! Just the right food for a work lunch break! I'll be back.

Chaotic and disorganized with inadequate alternatives and value for money. Actually everything is “pre-cooked” and lies ready in bowls. Why you have to wait in a queue of 10 people for half an hour while 6 people work at the counter becomes clear when you get to the front. I have rarely experienced such a complicated, disorganized and slow system catering as here. Nobody seems to be clear about what their tasks are and everyone gets in their own way. The modular principle is nice, but why are several types of rice offered when coriander is mixed in everywhere? Unfortunately, this is a knockout criterion for many people. So we queued for ½ hour for free. The portion size is modest. From €11 for a palm-sized burito.

I rode 3 hours in a train to get this and was disappointed. Unfortunately does not taste like in the US. the food was lacking flavor in my opinion. Barely tasted any cilantro, cumin or adobe seasonings. Also the prices are more expensive than in the US but way smaller portion sizes. And the pico was extremely watery and made completely wrong in my opinion. It’s not horrible but I definitely wouldn’t go back. Also they ran out of guac and romaine lettuce at 6pm and said they weren’t preparing more?? That’s literally during the dinner rush.

Catastrophic prices and poorly rolled burrito falls apart when eating, never come back!!

Quiet expensive for small portion -

Wij wilden in het winkelcentrum wat eten en kwamen hier langs. Ons leek Mexicaans eten wel lekker. We zijn echter niet bekend met het concept. We werden onvriendelijk te woord gestaan door iemand die slecht Engels spreekt. Uiteindelijk 2 kip burrito's genomen. Smaakte niet echt lekker en erg weinig kip erop. Ik zou hier niet meer terugkomen.

First - and last time Chipotle! We ordered a “salad bowl” and a burrito. The salad was the saddest pile of greens I've ever ordered - and the price was anything but fair. It didn't taste good either. The service was virtually non-existent, even though we had questions based on our first order.

Average Mexican food. Steak option is delicious. However, you often struggle with your stomach after eating it. Went there twice and it wasn't a highlight. It's okay in terms of price, but it doesn't really fill you up. Guacamole as an extra for €4.20 is pretty cheeky.

I went there with my girlfriend and paid €42 for two burritos. I was more complaining about your price than happy about the food. I recommend everyone who is there to eat somewhere else, as you spend twice as much in this shop as you would elsewhere. €11 is clearly too expensive for such a small burrito. 7€-8€ would be more appropriate. In the USA (where the original comes from) you get a portion that is almost twice as large for the same price!!

The way the waiter provided service was so bad; they were just like throwing food on your plate. The way they simply throw stuff on the burrito. And the sauces were at refrigerator temperature. My Tacos were stone cold! The burritos are just like they don't want to prepare anything for you; nothing is mentioned, and nothing is informed for customers. Very poor service and it feels like staff is discriminated against. I personally feel like a racist.

Unfortunately you can't give 0 stars, but this store deserves it. 50 minutes before closing time there is only a very limited selection. I know and love Chipotle from the USA and was very excited to see what the German branch offers in comparison. So I took a trip to Frankfurt to find out what was going on. In short, it's exactly like the original (it's an original because it's an official franchise). So you basically choose whether it's a bowl, burrito, tacos or salad and choose your ingredients (rice, beans, meat, tofu or veggies, cheese, guacamole, etc. It's not cheap, but it's cool!

It's the first and last time I was there. The employees simply put everything they wanted into our burritos even though we didn't agree. It's really overpriced. They just put the guacamole on me even though I didn't want it. I had to pay an extra €5 for it and I said at the checkout that I didn't order it and they didn't accept it. For the price definitely not worth it.

Wie man da offensichtlich hockt..., gefällt mir schon mal gar nicht. Aufgrund der Bewertungen ( auch noch teuer !?) sehe ich keinen Grund, den Verein auszutesten. In Amerika neben den üblichen Saufraß-Fast Food Ketten sicherlich eine Alternative. Hier kann ich auch ohne Bohnen prächtig furzen.

It was my first time trying chipotle and i have to say it is 100% worth the hype.

I went to a chipotle in London years ago but this one was worlds better. It's not exactly cheap and you should ideally speak English when ordering and know exactly what you're taking, but everything goes really quickly and the burrito, bowl etc. is filled and you can pay. At first you think: oh, super tiny, but a burrito weighs more than some kebabs. The tortilla is really awesome. So soft and slightly mushy to the bite but still holds together. Unfortunately, not every bite was completely balanced, but you still get something new here and something new there. I was missing a bit of a kick, although in retrospect it was quite salty, even though I eat a lot of salt. The barbacoa was tasty but a touch dry.

Portions are getting smaller and prices are going up. 10€ for a half-filled bowl is cheeky

Had a great experience and loved the food! Portion size was great, nothing like others mentioned before! Everyone was full afterwards. Team was really friendly, especially with our little one! They even asked if everything was ok afterwards. Will come again!

Tip top, very very tasty. Portions shrink from year to year, which is probably an inflation issue for rice & beans 😂 Amazed by the dollop of guacamole for over €4.35. Some time ago this was still €1.50. Clean and quickly prepared. Unfortunately, employees don't seem very motivated. Otherwise highly recommended and an amazing taste explosion.
