The food is truly delicious. The service at the restaurant is solid. However, delivery or self-pickup isn't recommended if you prefer salad. They VERY often forget the salad dressing.

Went there only for Tres leches. Absolutely the worst Tre leches I’ve ever had, worse beyond imagination. Idk what bread/ cake that is, it’s stiff and hard. I’m sure they have good main course but DO NOT order Tres leches!

Yumas is one of our favorite restaurants in the city and absolutely our favorite Mexican cuisine in Frankfurt! Cozy interior, incredible food, AMAZING STAFF and even the cocktails are phenomenal! I recommend the EL IÑARRITU, it’s a sweet and tangy cocktail with a beautiful foam that I forgot to take a picture of :(. You will not be disappointed here!

We specifically asked how long it would take, but still had to wait twice as long. We ordered a grilled tortilla, but the burrito was cold.

I picked up a toogoodtoogo bag there. For €4.15, I got a large burrito bowl with lots of roasted vegetables, marinated chicken breast, and rice. Great value for money! The food was good.

My new Favourite Mexican cuisine spot!! I went to Yumas (Feuerbachstraße) on 2 occasions within the last month for take-out. The chicken burrito 🌯 tasted like sitting in the warmth of Mexico sipping on a Margarita and eating this burrito in the Mexican sun🌞. However it was more, it tasted like a premium version of whatever other burrito one would have otherwise eaten. After my first visit it took about 3 weeks and I went back normally expecting that the first impression would be reduced. I was greeted with superb service again and no reduction in quality and taste compared to my initial experience. I can only highly recommend!!

The kitchen does a good job, but the service is very poor. I ordered a main course and a cocktail, and I wanted a large glass of tap water. What did I get? A glass smaller than 0.2 liters, and not even half full. I should have just ordered a bottle of water. The service made me feel like I was back in the 90s.

I ordered something today and picked it up there – and was immediately impressed! The people there were super friendly and welcoming, even though it was only for a brief moment. Super friendly staff 😍 they spoke Spanish, English, German, and Portuguese. The beef tacos were unfortunately very dry, as they were served without a dip. The tacos themselves were difficult to eat, as they fell apart. The alambre de pollo was super delicious 😊 I ordered more tortillas, it was a delight! The tequila wasn't for us, but that's a matter of taste. All in all: we'll be back, but for the alambre de pollo :)

Truly delicious, creative Mexican cuisine. I had an appetizer and a main course. For my starter, I had the blue corn chorizo ​​quesadillas. They were simply outstanding, especially for those who like it spicy. After that, I had the prawn tacos, which were very tasty. What you should definitely do afterward is check out the cocktail menu. They make them really well! For beer drinkers, I recommend "Chelada." A visit is definitely recommended.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at this restaurant with a group of friends and overall the experience was very positive. The food, drinks and especially the service were all top notch. The staff were excellent: friendly, attentive and ready to help at any time. The atmosphere in the place is conducive to a pleasant evening. However, there is one nuance that is worth considering: when entering the restaurant, there is a rather strong smell of frying oil. This was noticeable not only on the day of the dinner, but also during my previous visit, when I came to make a reservation. Although this moment did not spoil the overall impression, it can be a little off-putting on a first visit.

We spontaneously came up with the idea of ​​going there. I made a special reservation, but it wasn't actually necessary on a Friday. Service was super friendly and quick. And everyone was super friendly. The cocktails really took a while, but that was ok. Food was good and came quickly. Price-wise it's maybe a little higher than I expected. But it's just within limits. Card payment is possible.

I have often been there for private and business purposes, but cash payments are no longer accepted and therefore the store is history for me personally and for business as well as for my business partners. We don't support that and no one should do that!!!

I've eaten better at a Mexican restaurant

I've already been to Yumas Essen on a personal basis, but I've also done a company event there and can highly recommend it! One of the few good Mexican restaurants in Frankfurt! The staff is courteous and all nutritional concepts are catered for, whether vegan, gluten-free or carnivorous, everyone gets their money's worth in Yumas :) The guacamole and pulled beef are particularly delicious 🤤 As an event location also fairly priced and in closed company :)

The taste is really authentic Mexican, you can't complain about that. However, the price/performance ratio is not really right. The portions are too small and the price is too high.

I visited because of the reviews that say it’s authentic cuisine and ordered two micheladas, ceviche and guacamole with nachos, tacos camarones and tacos Al pastor. Unfortunately, the food was not authentic Latin/Mexican cuisine at all. Starting with the michelada not containing Clamato (or any substitute) which makes a huge difference in taste. I was not able to eat the ceviche because it smelled odd and the taste was very bad. Also, the fish was cooked which is untypical. The guacamole was disappointing because of the lack of salt. The tacos (camarones and al pastor) were fine but the tortillas were definitely not selfmade. Nevertheless the food was really missing the authentic spices!

Die Rezension wurde OHNE jegliche Übertreibung, Beleidigung oder Verletzung persönlicher Rechte verfasst. Der Inhaber hat diese Bewertung löschen lassen wegen angeblicher Verleumdung Die freie Meinungsäußerung ist ein hohes Gut, welches ich hiermit erneut zum Ausdruck bringe - Hier meine Erfahrung im Restaurant Yumas in Frankfurt: Das Essen im Yumas ist eigentlich sehr lecker und authentisch. Auch die Margaritas waren wirklich sehr lecker. Jedoch werden wir nicht mehr ins Yumas kommen und können es auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Der Grund dafür ist der unmotivierte Service sowie der Umgang mit den Kunden: Bei Margaritas finde ich die Frage "on the Rocks" oder "mit oder ohne Salzrand" schon hilfreich. Auch bei den "Do It Yourself" Tacos bin ich der Meinung, dass ein paar hilfreiche Tipps oder Anmerkungen zu den Beilagen durchaus angebracht wären. Jedoch verloren die Servicemitarbeiterinnen kein Wort zu den Getränken oder den Speisen - schade! Was aber wirklich eine Zumutung war, war der Umgang mit der Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer ... Als wir Anfang Januar dort waren, waren wir uns der bevorstehenden Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer bewusst. Vor Ort deckten sich die Preise der ausgehändigten Menükarten mit denen der Onlinepräsenz - somit war für uns klar: Das sind die aktuellen Preise! Nachdem wir die Rechnung bestellten, wurden kurz die Speisen und Getränke aufgezählt und dann ein Endbetrag genannt. Als wir diesen bezahlten verschwand die Kellnerin wortlos und gab uns auch keine Rechnung.... Als wir kurz im Kopf den Rechnungsbetrag mit den Preisen der vorliegenden Menükarte verglichen, wurde uns schnell klar dass der genannte und bezahlte Betrag höher war als er es laut Karte sein sollte. Auf Nachfrage beim Chef hieß es er habe vergessen, neue Karten mit der erhöhten MwSt. auszudrucken, und die ausgehändigten seien die alten Karten! Das sei nun mal so, er würde daran ja auch nichts verdienen! Es war jedoch mittlerweile der 2.Januar - also Zeit genug wenigstens provisorische Karten auszudrucken! Woher soll der Kunde denn wissen, ob die Menükarten "alt" oder "neu" sind? Während unseres ganzen Aufenthaltes haben es der Wirt und das Personal versäumt, uns auf die geänderten Preise, bzw. die veraltete Menükarte hinzuweisen... Sehr unprofessionell - daran hat auch leider der servierte Mezcal nichts mehr geändert!

I invited a group of friends for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything, from the service to the food and drinks, was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed the ambiance. However, there is a noticeable strong smell of frying oil when you enter the restaurant, which was a bit off-putting. I had noticed the same during my visit a few days earlier for the reservation.

We've had a drink at Yumas before and we really liked it. Now we went there to eat and were disappointed. When we arrived we were informed that the table we had reserved would only be available for us for 2 hours. That's okay for us too. We ordered and had to wait a long time. When we asked when the food would arrive after 40 minutes, they checked and told us that it was just being opened. Then it took almost another 15 minutes and unfortunately the food was only lukewarm. In my dish with sweet potatoes they were e.g. Partly cooked and partly raw. Unfortunately, no one was there to ask if everything was okay. Since we were hungry, we ate. As we were clearing away the question arose as to whether everything was okay. Conclusion we won't be coming back. Staff was good, unfortunately food suffered due to the long time spent. There was nothing that had been prepared especially for us and when we came there were only 3 tables occupied. A pity
